Common GTM Team Pitfalls- Misaligned Goals: Teams focus on “who gets the credit” rather than actionable insights.- Lack of Full-Funnel Thinking: Insights should span marketing, SDR, and sales efforts.- Overreliance on Rules-Based Models: Shift to data-driven, machine learning approaches like marketing mix models and incrementality testing.4. Building an AI-Powered Attribution Framework- Collaborative Effort: Align marketing, sales, and ops under a shared vision.- Tech Stack Audit: Ensure compatibility with your GTM motion.- Real-Time Monitoring: Use leading and predictive indicators to measure success.Lightning Round Insights:1. Leveraging Technology to Create Personalized Experiences  Shep Hyken interviews Anurag Dhingra, SVP and General Manager of Cisco Collaboration. He talks about using AI to bridge the gap between consumer expectations and satisfaction by enhancing both customer and employee experiences.  This episode of Amazing Business Radio with Shep Hyken answers the following questions and more:    How can businesses bridge the gap between customer expectations and satisfaction?  What role does artificial intelligence play in enhancing customer service interactions?  What are the benefits of proactive communication in customer service?  How can AI-driven tools support customer service agents in delivering better service?  Why is it important for companies to prioritize customer experience over cost optimization?  Top Takeaways:    There is still a huge gap between what people expect from their customer experience and what they are getting. If you ask a someone if they are happy with their previous customer experiences, the answer will likely be no. Fortunately, we now have the technology to elevate the experiences we can deliver to our customers.     Technological advancements, especially in AI, present many opportunities for organizations to enhance customer service and experience. AI can help streamline processes, provide real-time insights, and assist agents in answering customer inquiries more effectively.    Companies need to be thoughtful when implementing AI solutions. While cost optimization is important, it should not overshadow the goal of enhancing customer experience. Businesses should prioritize strategies that directly impact customer satisfaction, such as reducing wait times, creating personalized experiences, and anticipating customer needs.     Personalization is crucial in creating amazing customer experiences. Customers now expect companies to recognize their preferences and past interactions. Delivering a personalized service can make customers feel valued and understood, strengthening brand loyalty.    In addition to traditional methods of communications, like phone calls, modern consumers also communicate across various platforms like social media and text messages. Companies need to meet their customers in the channels where they prefer to interact. Offering multiple communication options allows customers to reach out in their preferred way, enhancing engagement and satisfaction.     Today, the best use case for AI is helping customer support agents, acting as a co-pilot providing real-time assistance and recommendations. AI can enhance agent efficiency by summarizing interactions and handling routine tasks, freeing agents to focus on complex issues. Technology should empower humans, not replace them.    Plus, Anurag and Shep discuss why it is important to always let customers know when they are talking to AI. Tune in!  Quote:  "Anyone in the organization can be a customer service representative. Because there are now multiple ways to engage with a brand, anyone has the opportunity to do a job that delights the customer."  About:    Anurag Dhingra is the SVP and General Manager of Cisco Collaboration. Old Delhi's Parallel Book Bazaar (Cambridge UP, 2024) looks at Old Delhi's Daryaganj Sunday Book Market, popularly known as Daryaganj Sunday Patri Kitab Bazaar, as a parallel location for books and a site of resilience and possibilities. The first section studies the bazaar's spatiality - its location, relocation, and spatialization. Three actors play a major role in creating and organising this spatiality: the sellers, the buyers, and the civic authorities. The second section narrativizes the biographies of the booksellers of Daryaganj to offer a map of the hidden social and material networks that support the informal modes of bookselling. Amidst order and chaos, using their specialised knowledge, Daryaganj booksellers create distinctive mechanisms to serve the diverse reading public of Delhi. Using ethnography, oral interviews, and rhythmanalysis, this Element tells a story of urban aspirations, state-citizen relations, official and unofficial cultural economies, and imaginations of other viable worlds of being and believing. One year ago, fighting broke out in Sudan between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). In the intervening months, the death toll and humanitarian cost have been immense. And yet, the suffering has gone largely overlooked by the United States and European nations. As U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield recently said, “Just five years after a revolution that offered a glimpse at a free, peaceful, democratic Sudan, people are losing hope. Aid workers have begun calling this conflict the forgotten war. Sudanese children are asking why the world has forgotten them.”To learn more, Lawfare Managing Editor Tyler McBrien sat down with Reva Dhingra, a Policy Adviser at the International Rescue Committee, and Ciarán Donnelly, a Senior Vice President for International Programs, also at the IRC. They discussed the roots of the current conflict, the spillover effects, and the exacerbating effects of climate change. They're on a mission to improve predictable revenue growth through Predictive AI for Pipeline Generation for B2B SaaS companies.Deepinder has spent over 20 years in big data analytics and machine learning in multiple industries - but mostly serving the Fortune 500 in both B2B and B2C. A few years ago he saw a market opportunity in B2B SaaS, as the way we run GTM motions nowadays is much more complex and has more glaring inefficiencies - and he set out on a mission to solve them. The dark funnel is becoming brighter by the day. As AI-powered GTM tools evolve, our understanding of the exact customer journey and ability to pinpoint signals increases by the day - which is quickly becoming a huge competitive advantage for revenue teams. The technology that Deepinder has built looks at all available customer touchpoints across the GTM motion and auto-harmonizes the data. Their end-users see an end-to-end view of the entire funnel across all GTM functions and they get a full view of which parts of the process are driving outcomes, and where bottlenecks arise. This is a true gamechanger for GTM teams, as there's a ton of guesswork in revenue teams, especially if data is scattered across sales, marketing and CS.No approach is perfect. Some marketing channels still can't be tracked - especially when it comes to offline conversations or awareness generated by influencers. Deepinder speaks on the only ways to attribute influencer interactions - looking at engagement data from posts or events, as well as the classic approach of unique CTA links.Tune into the full episode to learn more on the modern way of GTM attribution! Connect with Deepinder - https://www.linkedin.com/in/deepinder-singh-dhingra-66bb54/Connect with Alan - https://www.linkedin.com/in/alan-j-zhao/Want to convert your website visitors instantly?
