This week on the show, I'm getting VERY personal, and speaking on a topic that has been a massive part of my life over the last few years. Have you wondered why I've showed up in such a different way through the last 2 years? THIS is one big reason why, and I've finally found the time (Read: The COURAGE) to share my biggest lessons from my own experience of going through a divorce. But not just any divorce, a divorce that involved co-parenting our child via long-distance; Something I had NEVER thought I'd have to experience in my lifetime. It's been a journey, to say the least! My intention with today's episode is not to, “spill the tea” on the nitty-gritty personal details, but rather, to focus on the lessons and key takeaways I am pulling from such a life-altering experience. To say that something like this shapes a person would be the understatement of the century, and I'm certain that ANY of you who have gone through a divorce or separation involving children will completely know what I mean by this. My hope is that no matter the challenges you're currently facing in life, my transparency and ability to (finally!) be open and vulnerable on this topic serves you in a big way. Please share it with someone who has been, or who currently going is through a divorce or separation. I've also created a few graphics with my favourite quotes from today's episode (found on the show notes page, at: https://www.michellemcisaac.com/blog/089) that you're welcome to save and share however you see fit! Thank you for being here with me along this weird and wonderful journey of life! In great health, Michelle | www.michellemcisaac.com
Olivia (IG: @healinginmotherhood) is a mother, educator, and podcast host with a passion for helping mothers and families, as well as healing on all levels. Becoming a mother shifted Olivia's priorities and career path. With a background in Psychology, early childhood education, health coaching, yoga, and birth work, it's safe to say that she's worn a lot of hats throughout her life. Shortly after having her daughter, she realized how much the lack of support impacts mothers, children, and ultimately families. It ignited a passion within her to educate people on the importance of in person support, attachment, and turning inward to heal childhood wounds. Over the last few years, Olivia has taken a deep dive into what health truly means, how our thoughts can impact our body and overall health, and how we can best support mothers and babies. It all starts at home, with you. What you consume on a daily basis - what you read, listen to, eat, and put onto your body can positively or negatively impact your health. It is a choice to begin your healing journey. And it's such a beautiful opportunity to learn, grow, and transform. Olivia is hopeful that through her work she can disrupt the systems within our society that are not serving mothers and families, while also encouraging people to take the first step in their own healing journey even when it may feel overwhelming.

I'm back from an almost 2-month long hiatus from posting on social media, and kicking things off with a topic that's been on my heart to bring to the show for years! As a mother who also happens to have a company that resides in this AI-driven, and ever-changing digital space, my stance on showing my son's face online has changed drastically over the years. Many of you have watched a lot of big pieces of our lives happen over the years, but with how things have evolved technology-wise, I have found myself with a strong desire for more privacy. I've also contemplated how my stance on the necessity of personal autonomy is reflected through my choices on whether to share or not share my son's name and face in the online space. I don't claim to have things all figured out in life (none of us do!) I'm simply sharing my personal thought process as an imperfect mom who wants to do right by her kid, and who holds a strong desire to ensure his safety and freedom to choose how he presents himself in the digital world (when he is old enough to actually understand the implications of putting pieces of himself out there to begin with!). In the end, we're all just doing the best we can with the information and understand we have. Please know that I love and respect you, regardless of whether our thoughts on this topic align or not. Diversity of thought is what makes the world go round. I am THRILLED to have this opportunity to introduce you to my dear friend Ashley Howatt (IG: @h3o2training) of H3o2training, and for her to share all of her wisdom around structured water, our quantum “water battery,” and so much more. About Ashley: My love of sports and science led me to St Francis Xavier University where I completed a BSc in Human Kinetics. This led to a full time gig as a personal trainer and then a few years as a Kinesiologist at a multidisciplinary Chiropractic Clinic. Along the way I discovered the work of Paul Chek and his world renowned CHEK Institute. This is where my knowledge of all things HOLISTIC health and fitness began. Fast forward a few years and I'm now a licensed level 2 CHEK Practitioner and Holistic Lifestyle Coach! My studies with the CHEK Institute through their Academy continues, as does my research and learning into other topics such as h3o2 water, light, sound, and all things "quantum health." I'm a forever student and passionate teacher. A health detective and dot connector. I work one on one with people where I really listen to your story and gather as many pieces to your puzzle as I can to help you see the big picture and coach you on how to put it all together. My unique coaching style enables clients to empower themselves with new knowledge and understanding, as well as tools and strategies, so that they can feel their best and not be limited or restricted in their life because of ill health, poor fitness or pain." This one's a doozy, my friends! The idea of "collapsing time" in business, or in things shifting quickly is something so many leaders aspire to create, yet the seek the answers on how to do this outside of themselves. But what if the answers are actually within? In this episode, I dive into my very unconventional and personal opinion on what's really going on when we shift timelines and watch big transformations in how we lead happen fast. I think you're going to enjoy this one! If you do, I'd love for you to snap a screenshot of the episode and share it to your Instagram Stories, tagging me at @_michellemcisaac so I can hear your biggest takeaways! Today on the podcast, I have something very special to share with you! One of my most popular masterclasses for Entrepreneurs, called the, “Brand and Soul Client Identity Masterclass.” This short-but-potent workshop covers two of the most foundational components to building ANY business in the online space: Figuring out what encompasses YOUR unique brand, as well as WHO you are here to serve - Your soul client! Chances are, if you're a solopreneur and you have a heartbeat, you're probably over-complicating things in your business. All you really need is a product/service to sell, free content that provides value + that helps people understand the transformation you can help them achieve, and to actively sell your offer. That's it! The rest is just fluff. Strip what you REALLY need down to the bare bones so you can see all the things standing in the way of you really taking action in a BIG way in your biz. Then, close your eyes and LEAP. You can do this. I believe in you. Love, M www.michellemcisaac.com
If you've ever struggled with imposter syndrome, this episode was recorded with you in mind! This is one of the most common struggles I see for new solopreneurs, but a simple shift in awareness can make us recognize the very normal feelings we're experiencing in a whole new way. I also mentioned my new 3-day intensive in this episode, called, "List Builder's Accelerator." To learn more about this upcoming LIVE mentorship experience, head over to www.michellemcisaac.com/lba.
In this week's episode, I not only riff on the topic of preparing for Black Friday with an online business, but I also give you a sneak peek into the offerings that I am going to be providing, and I explain the reasoning behind choosing this unique type of offer in serving my audience. I hope this inspires you to think outside of the box and deliver an OBVIOUS yes to your dream client this Black Friday! Love, M.
Maybe it's not so much about what you're doing. Maybe it's more about who you're being. Are you showing up as the past version of you that no longer aligns with your desire, or are you showing up fully embodied as the version of who already exists in that reality?
I can hardly believe it. We are finally back for Season 4, and there is SO much to dig into! But first, a little update on where I've been since the end of season 3, and where things are headed. And to think - All that money I spent on personal development books over the years when I could’ve just read a $3 thrift shop Bible and found every answer I ever needed in life! Okay friends - I’ve been coaching from a new age/spirituality perspective for years now - But I’ve fully let that world go, and I have been INHALING the pages of His word in it’s place. Now I’m ready to start sharing some of those revelations with you. I’m nervous. I have a lump in my throat. But my heart knows it’s time. You ready? Let’s go! You can find the show notes for this episode at: https://michellebreau.com/podcast/069
What is truth? A question I think we’ve all pondered to some extent in 2020. Interestingly enough, this is a question that a man named Pilate asked in the Bible many years ago. It is certainly not a new question only pertaining to the events of this year. What I find even more interesting is that Jesus Christ himself, who is perhaps the most loved, (and simultaneously despised) man in the cosmos, said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” So why does this matter, and what does it have to do with our current age of “truthers” and the ever-popular New Age/Spirituality Movement? A lot, in my humble opinion. Are you ready to hear what is perhaps THE MOST vulnerable and raw podcast episode I’ve recorded to date? If so, head to the swipe up in my stories and press PLAY. And remember: I’m not here to choose YOUR truth for you - Only you can do that. That said, I will bravely (read: nervously) share my own while lovingly holding space for you to discover yours. Big hug, Michelle You can find the show notes and more information from this episode at https://michellebreau.com/podcast/068
QUICK: Think of one area of your life that you’re aiming to improve upon for the remainder of 2020. Is it your finances? Your relationship? Your self-care game? Your business? Today’s episode can support you in cultivating growth in just about ANY area of your life that you desire (And it also happens to be one of my FAVOURITE topics to riff on )! Yassss friends, today we’re talkin’ about masculine & feminine energy! Contrary to popular belief, these two energies have nothing to do with gender (although roughly 70-80% of women identify with a more feminine core consciousness, and 70-80% of men identify with a core masculine consciousness). The truth is, we ALL, regardless of gender or the core consciousness that we identify with, we all require and can INTENTIONALLY tap into both masculine + feminine energies in order to find wholeness and fulfillment - And understanding both the empowered + the wounded versions of both (yes, they BOTH have a light and a dark side!) has been suuuuper helpful in my journey of building this body of work I am so blessed to have today. Grab a pen & paper for this one, because we cover A LOT. And if you enjoy it, head over to the show notes for this episode to download your very own VIDEO version to keep for yourself! And don’t forget to do all the things - Share this episode with someone you love, share it on your stories, or head over to iTunes and leave me some love! Do you set goals based upon what you THINK you can get, OR do you set goals based upon what you ACTUALLY desire? What’s the difference, and why should we care? This week, I’m sharing a riff from one of my most popular programs, Tempo: The Art of Speeding Up. It’s an intensive business program as it covers a LOT of key topics on building an online business in a way you likely have never seen before. We cover both the DOing and the BEing, and we add a cherry on top: LIVE Q&A Mastermind sessions to help you implement what you’ve learned every step of the way. But where do we even begin when it comes to building a business? Well, I think the #1 question is ask, is: “Yeah - But what do you REALLY want?” Grab a hot drink, get cozy, and let’s dive in. You can find the show notes and more information from this episode at https://michellebreau.com/podcast/066
After half a decade of entrepreneurship, to building a thriving Holistic Nutrition practice, and now, a coaching practice where I help entrepreneurs do the same, one of the most important realizations I had is this: Selling is SACRED. It is a beautiful dance of giving and receiving. Of co-creation with the individuals out there seeking you. It is EVERYTHING you desire hidden under the societal term “salesy” to make you think it needs to be a difficult journey. From the moment I met @vibrantlywell, we kinda just clicked. She is soulful, genuine, and a level-5 empath who is never, EVER afraid to call the world out on it's diet mentality BS. She is the embodiment of all that she teaches, which, in my eyes, is one of the most integral qualities of those who lead. Back in June, I was a guest on her show, "The Becoming Vibrant Podcast," and we had a juicy chat all about MONEY. In it, we chat about common blocks & misconceptions we carry around money, the different channels in which wealth can flow to and from us, considerations for why and when to invest in ourselves (or when NOT to!), and I even shared my own personal journey of unlearning what no longer served me (confession: I used to have a hard time even buying myself SOCKS! ), while replacing that old programming with the NEW. We both had such an awesome time during this chat that I asked, "Hey - Can I share this on GROWradio some day?" to which she happily approved! Last week, I polled my audience on Instagram for topics they'd love me to cover on the show. Jokingly, I mentioned the idea, "How I'm Prepping for the Apocalypse." There was a resounding, "YES! PLEASE DO IT!" so I decided to make it happen! What are we doing to prepare for the possibility of a second lockdown? How are we navigating the potential impending, "cashless society?" If our food supply chain has been as damaged as they say, what about food shortages? All this and more on this week's episode! How did you get here? A question I was asked by my coach recently, which sent me on a journey of deep reflection through all of the twists and turns on the path that brought me to this place in my life. In doing this exercise, I realized that we, as leaders, often feel embarrassed or ashamed when we decide to rebrand, change paths, or make any sort of pivot through the discovery of who we truly are and where we’re meant to be. But in essence, this IS the journey to the deepest and most beautiful sense of alignment that we are continually evolving into, and every single pivot was actually an IMPORTANT, necessary step in the evolution into who you are today. I hope that you find my story encouraging as you step into this new world before us. I hope that it inspires you to follow your intuition, and to trust every step as it unfolds before you. I want you to know that no matter where you are with the current COVID-19 pandemic, it’s okay. If you’re afraid, if you’re concerned about an immunocompromised family member or friend, or if you’re frustrated about losing travel plans. It’s okay to take some space and honour everything you’re feeling. It’s okay to not be okay. That said, I also want you to know that there are places you can go if you find yourself swirling in negative media, fear & uncertainty and you’re ready to consciously lean more into the positive things that are happening around the world. I hope today’s episode (the FINALE of season 2! OMG!) inspires you and brightens your outlook on the things happening around the world. I love you. And PS: Thank you for being here for an entire YEAR, 48 episodes, 28 absolutely amazing guests, and 2 complete seasons! “When Western medicine failed me at 28 years old after coming down with a sudden and mysterious pain syndrome, I knew if I wanted to heal and be there for my family I was going to have to do it myself. I entered a number of educational certification programs to learn everything I could about natural health and healing, and what really causes the myriad of chronic illnesses so many of us face today. Along that journey, I found a deep passion for sharing all I was learning with others and eventually a passion for working with clients one on one to really address their health issues in a complete Mind, body, and spirit level. To help them achieve true health and happiness naturally. Today I am blessed to work around the globe virtually with people doing just that and educating while still sharing my own journey and life on my IG platform. This week’s episode is about a topic that I felt compelled to expand upon after hearing a fellow practitioner and colleague in the wellness space share her thoughts (Andrea of @the_functionalmed_mom on Instagram). She was bringing light to the fact that consumers must be aware of exactly what influencers actually do - They influence! She wasn’t only speaking to the communities of those practitioners and people of influence, she was also speaking to the practitioners themselves about the importance of holding a level of integrity in all that we share, and the things we choose to promote. Have you ever seen someone marketing a $40 box of tea because it was tested for heavy metals? What about $600 air filters? It is important to understand as a consumer that much of the time, these things are promoted because they either received one for free for themselves, or because they earn a kickback or commission for each individual who invests in one. This is, in essence, influencing. Being a practitioner in the wellness space and sharing the things we love is NOT a bad thing, but it IS important to always think of the CONSUMER when selecting brands to align with. Awareness, integrity, compassion, and authenticity in business is absolutely everything, which is why when I heard Andrea speak on this (Go check out her IG story highlights titled “fear series” for more on this), I absolutely HAD to bring this topic to GROWradio.
