I just recorded my 200th podcast episode! I launched my podcast over 5 years ago and recorded my first episode with no microphone, had no fancy podcast intro, no album cover created and no idea of what I was doing. In this episode, I talk to Denise Mazzola who is an experienced dog trainer and behavior specialist who runs her own business, Everything Dog, in New Hampshire. In 2020 she began to leverage digital technology, including Zoom calls and Facebook groups, to increase her reach. By joining Brandon Lucero's messaging course and working with Laura Neisner, Denise was able to successfully launch a webinar in October 2018, which had four registrations. Have you ever wanted to make videos that make sales? Brandon Lucero is a video marketing machine and he's going to be sharing some insider tips on the show today. From generating leads with video to flat out closing sales, Today's episode is poised to be incredible! www.soldwithvideo.com www.youtube.com/user/soldwithvideo HOW DO YOU GET LEADS FROM YOUTUBE? Keywords!! Find those keywords that are being searched the most AND relevant to your topic. Make sure you learn where the customer is in the buying process when they search for those keywords, you don't want to sell too soon. Do Not always use the same generic Call To Action. HOW DO YOU SELL TO THEM? For some customers, they are looking for the "How to," videos. For others, they need to learn "WHY" they are choosing a business to work with. Get emails when you are doing non-local work to build that relationship and bring them over to a Facebook group. WHAT MAKES A KEYWORD WORTH TARGETING? If you are just starting out, look for the keywords that have around 200 - 500 searches. You do not have the authority yet to get ranked using the bigger keywords that established channels get, ones that YouTube recognizes as an authority. You can grow faster starting out small. FACEBOOK VIDEOS VS YOUTUBE VIDEOS? On YouTube look for leads generated from them videos and click through rates. On Facebook look more for views and watch time. More interested in qualified audiences. HOW DO YOU DETERMINE WHAT CALL TO ACTION TO USE? Do not feel like short small videos are the place for a call to action. Use them as touch points and bring them to another page to re-target them. YouTube is all about getting the email address! WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO START A CHANNEL FROM SCRATCH AND START MAKING MONEY? You do not need a lot of people to make money. You just need a service or product that people are looking for. Give value and solve their problems. Once you have them on your list, survey them! WHAT DO YOU ASK ONCE YOU GET THEIR EMAIL? It is important to know at what stage they are at, whether in their business or buying stage of a service/product. Ask them why they are watching your content. Where are they spending most of their time? Uses surveymonkey.com to create the survey.
