La music story du jour c'est celle de Cerrone et Christine & The Queens…La collaboration paraissait évidente mais la suite du projet reste surprenante. Ces derniers jours, c'est un attelage inattendu qui a livré un nouveau single, d'un côté Cerrone, légende disco s'il en est, de l'autre Christine & The Queens, deux artistes qu'on avait vus ensemble, réunis lors de la dernière fête organisée pour les Jeux Olympiques de Paris 2024.

Cuatro años después de su último disco, Ángel Stanich regresa con "Os traigo amor", quizá, su canción más bonita, con unos arreglos espectaculares y un sonido retro inspirado en un episodio de los Simpsons y en una experiencia escolar del propio Stanich, tras visitar la central nuclear de Santa María de Garoña (Nuclenor), con accidente de autobús incluido… "Os traigo amor" se mueve entre Fleetwood Mac y a Al Stewart, pasando por The War On Drugs, My Morning Jacket o incluso Dire Straits y está llena de detalles que iremos descubriendo estos días. Le dimanche 28 mai, Christine and the Queens signait son retour en France au festival Art Rock de Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor). Tête d'affiche de la dernière soirée, l'artiste a livré une prestation remarquée sur scène en interprétant plusieurs morceaux de son nouvel album, « Paranoïa, Angels, True Love », sorti le 9 juin 2023.Propulsé en 2014 grâce au succès de son premier album « Chaleur humaine », vendu à 1 300 000 exemplaires, Christine and the Queens s'est rapidement illustré sur la scène internationale : Victoires de la musique, couverture du magazine américain Time, festival Coachella aux États-Unis… Mais dans la foulée, malgré plusieurs disques salués par la critique, l'artiste, qui se genre au masculin depuis 2021, est en plein questionnement et part s'exiler aux États-Unis en quête d'une nouvelle identité artistique. Christine and the queens vient de sortir un nouvel album dans lequel apparait notamment Madonna. La chanteuse qui se genre maintenant au masculin est l'une des artistes françaises les plus exportées dans le monde. Nul doute que s'il était encore avec nous, Jacques Chancel l'aurait conviée dans son célèbre Radioscopie.

Un nouvel album de Christine & the Queens sort aujourd'hui en collaboration avec Madonna. Depuis ses débuts en 2014, l'artiste qui se fait aussi appeler Redcar ou Red enchaîne les succès. Chris, Redcar, Christine and the Queens : l'artiste construit son identité musicale avec tous ses noms de scène mais aussi son genre. Le 24 mai 2018, le chanteur, qui ne s'identifie pas encore comme un homme, est venu "raconter un nouveau chapitre", y compris de son identité dans le journal du 20 Heures d'Anne-Sophie Lapix sur France 2. Son nom de scène est désormais Chris. Quatre ans plus tard, Chris présente un nouveau nom de scène, poétique : Redcar, Voiture Rouge en français.
