Not every corporate DJ gig is about packing the dance floor. Sometimes, your real value is in creating the perfect background vibe that enhances the experience without overpowering it. In this episode, we break down why mastering background music is a key skill for successful corporate DJs. From curating smooth, professional playlists to setting the right energy level, reading the room, and understanding event flow. We cover what it takes to deliver for events where dancing isn't the focus. Whether you're DJing a networking event, a corporate brunch, a VIP reception, or a showroom launch, learning how to create a polished non-dancefloor atmosphere can set you apart and keep corporate clients bringing you back again and again.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/we-create-the-vibes-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

This last blast stretches the feel-good journey even further, stacking fresh and funky gems from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and early 2000s. Feeling extra nostalgic, we even tossed in a pair of '60s sing-along classics every bar crowd has belted out at least once over the past five decades. The result? A nonstop, pool-ready soundtrack built for cannonballs, cold drinks, and backyard barbeque. We're worn out—but you know how Party Favorz rolls. There's no time to lounge because the annual Beach Party set is already in the works. Expect a sun-kissed wave of Funky-Disco-House grooves designed to lift spirits and help everyone forget—if only briefly—how chaotic the country feels right now coming your way soon. We're not here to proselytize (well, not most of the time). We're here to pour a little sonic sunshine into your long holiday weekend—and light up every corner of your next gathering. Party Favorz has been working overtime to wrap up as much as possible before the July 4th holiday—and we're dropping Volume 2 of the Summer Throwback Dance Party 2025 a day earlier than expected. This second set is packed with fan favorites, whether they were originally crafted for the dancefloor or not. Each track has been given a remix refresh, making them fit right into your summer celebration. Even better—this volume is loaded with all-new remixes, so there shouldn't be any repeats (but we won't swear on it). I've got a full day ahead—heading into Atlanta for a doctor's appointment, grabbing groceries, and picking up some new fish for our aquarium we had ordered—so I'm keeping this brief. Don't worry, Volume 3 is still on the way and should drop in the next few days, right before we shift gears into our regular summer fare. And yes, we're talking all-ages fun here. If you're new to this series, Summer Throwback Dance Party is where nostalgia meets the remix. These sets are loaded with classic Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, and Dance hits from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and early 2000s—songs everyone knows and loves—reimagined for today's dance floor. Some tracks mash two iconic hits into a new experience. Others stay faithful to the original but are given a modern boost. Either way, this is a throwback dance mix with universal appeal that keeps the energy high and the vibes carefree. Old Favorites, New Twists With each release, I aim to bring something fresh—whether through updated remixes or clever mashups—but it's not always easy to keep track. Block & Crown, GhostMasters, Ghoustbusterz, The Soul Gang, FlashDancers, Disco Gurls... they've all been incredibly prolific. Aside from Block & Crown, most of these names are aliases for the same core group of ghost producers who recycle tracks, change titles, and rebrand under different monikers. One week it's a “new” release. The next, it's a rehash of something they dropped six months ago under another name. I do my best not to repeat tracks from past volumes, but when the remix is good and the groove is timeless, I say let it ride. At the end of the day, a great jam is still a great jam—especially when you're trying to get the party started. Volume 1 Is Just the Beginning Since last year's Fall Throwback Dance Party, the flood of new retro-inspired tracks has been nonstop. There's been so much quality output that I had enough material for three volumes this go-around. Because of time constraints, I'm rolling out Volume 1 today and plan to drop Volume 2 by Friday. Volume 3? That one's coming next week. No worries though—between this release and what's coming later in the week, there's more than enough fuel to keep your holiday playlist spinning. Mix in previous sets, and you've got hours of nonstop throwback party energy. By the time Volume 3 lands, it'll feel like it was always part of the plan. One Nation, Under a Groove Whether you're reliving your high school dance floor days or introducing the younger crowd to some real classics, there's something for everyone here. From the '60s (yes, I slipped a few gems in) through the 2000s, this throwback dance party is built to unite generations. These are the songs that made us move then—and still get us hyped now. So go ahead—fire up the grill, crack open a cold one,

In this episode of Hey Sis, Eat This, Whitney and Courtney catch up after Whitney's European adventures, including a trip to Italy, Cannes and Copenhagen. Whitney recounts her most memorable travel moments including a panty dropper basil risotto in France with Daddy Ashley, biking in Copenhagen to the incredible Reffen food hall and a thrilling gin and tonic fueled rollercoaster ride at Tivoli Gardens. Courtney dives into the dinner party she hosted with Momma Ashley for her daughter Vivi's 6th grade graduation. Momma Ashley was determined to make her famous mustard shrimp which calls for tarragon vinegar. After visiting five grocery stores to finally find this must have ingredient, the shrimp didn't turn out as expected, leaving her wondering if the universe was telling her to skip the dish altogether. Court also recounts a recent dinner at a hot pot restaurant with her good friend Lisa Ling. With a condiment bar full of delicious options and a noodle-making performance topped off with a larger than life dancing panda bear. In this episode of Poducer, we sit down with Artie Do Good — a genre-bending producer, trombonist, educator, and storyteller who fuses live jazz instrumentation with electronic music and deeply rooted political themes. From his early days throwing ska shows in Kenosha to composing orchestral works in NYC, Artie walks us through his evolution as an artist, educator, and community builder. We dig into the influence of Chicago's DIY scene, the impact of labor movements and socialist philosophy on his music, and the creative process behind his powerful album Socialist Dance Party. We also explore the intersection of soulful composition and beat production, his dual life as a teacher and performer, and the growing movement of emotionally intelligent masculinity (aka himboism). Plus, he shares unreleased tracks, stories of musical mentorship, and memories of transformative shows like D'Angelo at Afropunk. Links:

The Nigerian singer, songwriter and bandleader and Seun Kuti keeps alive the Afrobeat tradition founded by his legendary father, Fela Kuti, back in the 1970s. In fact, when Fela died in 1997, it was Seun, his youngest son, who took over the band, now called Egypt 80. Like his late father, Seun Kuti takes on topics like government corruption and corporate greed in his songs, setting his lyrics and his blazing sax solos to an insistent dance beat. Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 play tunes from their most recent album, Heavier Yet (Lays The Crownless Head), in-studio. Set list: 1. Stand Well Well 2. Love and Revolution 3. Emi Aluta
