Description: God's faithful people returned from exile in Babylon to rebuild the temple. The opposition they had to contend with taught them to trust God, humbly put God first, and work with a willing spirit. The same is true for us as we try to build a spiritual temple and have God dwell in us. We ought to be building God's house rather than our own. God knows what it feels like to be rejected. Maybe you've been hurt recently. Maybe somebody has torn your heart apart. Or … it may have been something that happened years ago. You may feel rejected by a person … by a synagogue or church … by a group of people. But I want to tell you nobody's ever been rejected like God. Today you can meet God's need … and he'll meet yours! _____________________________________ YOU CAN MEET GOD'S NEED TODAYGOD HAS RESERVED TIME FOR YOU God has a need today. And I want to tell you how to meet it. When Satan was cast out of Heaven, one-third of the angels fell with him. The Bible tells us that Lucifer (the devil) was the anointed cherub that covers. He was created by God—a beautiful being—but being lifted up in pride because of his beauty—instead of thanking and worshiping God for making him that way—he became deceived. He said, “I will be like the most high” … and God cast him down. God then created a more beautiful being: an earthling named Adam—and his wife, Eve. God created man in his own image … after his own likeness. God is a spiritual being and man is a spiritual being. But man went astray also. God knows what it's like to be rejected. Maybe you've been hurt recently. Maybe somebody has torn your heart apart. Or … it may have been something that happened years ago. You may feel rejected by a person … by a synagogue or church … by a group of people. But I want to tell you nobody's ever been rejected like God. Today you can meet God's need … and He will meet yours. God wants to talk with you today. He wants to heal that problem in your life. God wants to make something beautiful out of your life today. And he's got all the time in the world for you. God sent his Son into the world. He moved right into your neighborhood because He loved you and wanted to be the ONE Supreme Sacrifice that would pay for all your imperfections. Christ died for your sins. And then he entered Heaven. The Bible tells us He purchaed you with his own blood. You're already forgiven IF you'll receive it ... that's the Good News. That's the Gospel. But Jesus did more than just pay for your sins on the cross-stake. He atoned for (paid for) every dimension of your life. God is a Trinity. And so as man. God, the Father … God, the Son … and God, the Holy Spirit, created man after their likeness—with a threefold nature. The trinity of man is also threefold: composed of body, soul (intellect, emotion, will) and spirit. So the atonement of Jesus made it possible for every dimension of man to be brought into healing alignment with God. FIRST ~ Let me repeat what I said previously, “The atonement of Jesus made it possible for every dimension of man to be brought into healing alignment with God.” Jesus made atonement for your body. At the Roman judgment hall, Jesus' body became a whipping post for YOU. On the cross-stake the nails that pierced his body opened the way for the healing of YOUR body. As the Scripture says, “By his stripes [wounds from beating and from the crucifixion] you were healed.” “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”– Isaiah 53:5 “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”– 1 Peter 2:24 Notice that in Isaiah 53:5 it says that we ARE healed―it was looking in the future to the cross-stake (750 B.C. was when Isaiah prophesied it). 1 Peter 2:24 says you WERE healed looking back at the cross-stake (after the atonement of Messiah Jesus). SECOND ~ Jesus atoned for your soul (your intellect, emotion and will) in the garden, where he sweat great drops of blood. He said, “Father, if it be your will let this cup of suffering pass from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours be done.” God needed a will that he could will His will through. One of the results of Adam's sin in the garden was thorns. There were no thorns before Adam and Eve sinned. And it's an amazing thing that the very thorns—which were a result of the curse on the earth—were the very instruments that loosed the Blood which purchased your healing and brought deliverance from the curse.   “Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you.” (1 Peter 1:18-20) So it is with that situation in your life today. It may be an interpersonal relationship. It may be friction between you and another person: possibly somebody near or dear to you. It may be a relationship in your synagogue or church. It may be a situation at your place of employment or school. It may be something that's just a great weight upon your mind and heart. Somebody mistreating you … somebody not understanding you. Those very thorns―those problems you are experiencing―can be used as instruments that will loose healing and bring MIRACLES that YOU are not even expecting … not even considering! (Look at the life of Joseph!) The very thorns that pierced the head of the Lord Jesus—thorns which were a result of the curse on earth from man's sin—were the very thorns that loosed healing for YOU. That situation in your life can be turned around and healing can be effected IF you'll receive it. Follow God … and do the Father's will. And you CAN do it because Messiah Yeshua atoned for your will. It's available for you … IF you receive it because of the blood Jesus shed. Oh, you're dead to evil thoughts. You're dead to the world. The mind is where the enemy attacks you. The mind is the door to evil thoughts, to suggestions, to fears, to the oppression of the enemy. And today―because of Jesus atoning for your will―you can be dead to the evil thoughts, to the oppression of Satan and to the world. And they will be dead to you! THIRD ~ Not only did Jesus atone for your body, not only did he atone for your will, but he atoned for your spirit. By His shed BLOOD and by His SACRIFICE for YOU on the cross-stake―which paid for all of your sins―your spiritual man is free IF you will receive it. REMEMBER: A gift does YOU no good unless you receive it. REMEMBER A GIFT DOES YOU NO GOOD UNLESS YOU RECEIVE IT Under the Old Testament, the blood covered as the priest sacrificed for the sins and transgressions of the people―but the blood of animals did not cleanse―it only covered. However, in the Brit Chadashah (New Testament or New Covenant) the blood of Messiah Jesus cleanses. Under the Old Testament law, there was forgiveness when a man brought the sacrifice that was offered, but under the New Testament there is not only forgiveness, but there is deliverance so that you don't have to be plagued with that same act, that same habit … with that same bondage of the enemy. So Jesus atoned for your body, for your soul, and for your spirit: the three parts of your nature. Today―because of the atonement of God's Son for you―you can meet God's need. God is looking for someone to love him and talk to Him. You can fellowship with God. You can be a blessing to God. You can talk to God and you can receive from Him. Right now in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God―who atoned for your body, your soul, and your spirit―I command you to be healed. Walk out of that wheelchair, get off that bed of affliction. I command the oppression of Satan to leave you right now. I command you to be filled with God's Love and with His Spirit, to speak in a new language―to pray in tongues―because of the Atonement … the TOTAL HEALING … in every dimension of your life: your body, your soul, and your spirit. I trust this teaching will help you! Baruch haba b'Shem Adonai. DESCRIPTION: God has given us many promises of healing and health in His Word. The ONLY PURPOSE of God's promises is for fulfillment in your life. HEALING PROMISES ARE FOR FULFILLMENT IN YOUR LIFE God has given us many promises of healing and health in His Word. We have covered many of these in past podcasts and teachings. However, I want you to notice that the ONLY PURPOSE of God’s promises is their fulfillment in YOUR life. God’s promises show what He wants to do for us. In the Word of God they are spoken of as “exceeding great and precious” promises. There is NO reason to doubt these promises and we have every reason to EXPECT their fulfillment. Promises such as: YESHUA, THE ANOINTED ONE, NEVER REFUSED HEALING TO ANYONE "Yeshua went about … healing all that were oppressed of the devil." [Acts 10:38] MESHIACH YESHUA'S HEALING NATURE NEVER CHANGES "Yeshua, the Messiah, the same yesterday, and today, and forever." [Hebrews 13:8] GOD PROMISES HEALING AND FORGIVENESS OF SINS TO YOU "Who forgives all your sins: who heals all your diseases." [Psalm 103:3] GOD WANTS TO HEAL YOU - TO SAVE YOU FROM DISEASE AND SIN "I am the LORD that heals you." [Exodus 15:26] GOD WILL HEAL YOU AND KEEP YOU HEALTHY IF YOU SERVE HIM "You shall serve the LORD … and I will take sickness away." [Exodus 23:25] ASK THE LORD YESHUA TO HEAL YOU NOW - ASK HIM TO SAVE YOU "Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you." Yeshua said to the religious crowd of His day: “My word has NO place in you.” QUESTION: Does God’s word have a place in you? A place of honor, trust, authority … and of faith? If so, then you can BELIEVE what God has promised you and ACT on it by faith. God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent. If you are sick, or diseased, or in pain, you have access to the PROMISES of God and the PROVISION of God by the atonement of Messiah Yeshua on the cross stake when He took YOUR sins, your sicknesses,  your diseases, and your pains UPON HIMSELF for you. “Surely he has borne our infirmities, and carried our diseases; yet we esteemed him stricken, struck by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed.”  (Tanakh: Isaiah 53:4-5) 750 years later the above prophecy by Isaiah was fulfilled by Yeshua ha Meshiach. “When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases."  (Brit Chadashah: Mattiyahu [Matthew] 8:16-17) Yes, my friend, you can BELIEVE God’s promises for you. The PURPOSES of the promises of God is their FULFILLMENT in your life. ACT on them by FAITH. And by His stripes, you will be – you have been – healed. DESCRIPTION: God established the boundaries of the nation of Israel about 4,000 years ago when He described them to Abraham. About 500 years later, God gave the description of Israel’s boundaries in more detail to Moses. ORIGIN OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND THE LAND OF ISRAEL In the Brit Chadashah, in Acts 17:26, the Bible says, "(G-d) has made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined the times before appointed, and the boundaries of their habitations." From one man, Adam, G-d has made every nation of men to scatter and settle on the whole face of the earth, G-d knowing beforehand which nations would rise and fall and at what time they would be in power. God also fixed their boundaries ahead of time for these certain periods of time. God established the boundaries of the nation of Israel about 4000 years ago, during the time of Abraham. (See Torah: Genesis 15:18-21.) About 500 years later, G-d gave the description of the boundaries of Israel in more detail to Moses. (See Torah: Deuteronomy 34:1-12.) Abraham had two sons: Ishmael and Isaac. (Read Torah: Genesis Chapters 16, 17, 21, and 22.) Ishmael was Abraham’s son by his Egyptian maid, Hagar. Ishmael became the "father" of the Arab nations; he was the son "of the flesh", not the son which G-d had promised to Abraham. Isaac was the "son of the promise", but Ishmael was the result of Abraham trying to "help G-d out" - trying to help G-d keep His word. Have you ever tried to do this? Have you ever acted too quickly instead of waiting with patience for the promise of G-d to come to pass? In Genesis 21:12, G-d said unto Abraham, "in Isaac shall thy seed be called." Through the line of Isaac the promised "seed" would come who would bless the world. Isaac had twin sons named Esau and Jacob. Even though Jacob was the younger, he inherited the blessing, or "birthright", form his father Isaac (Torah: Genesis 25:19-34). Jacob’s name was changed to Israel one time after he had wrestled with an angel of G-d all night (Torah: Genesis Chapter 32). The name "Jacob" means "heel catcher" or "supplanter" (one who displaces, as he did to his brother Esau in regard to the birthright). The name Israel means "having power with God" or "G-d’s fighter". A change had happened in Jacob’s life; he began to see the purpose of G-d for his life! Have you had a change in your life? Do you have a vision of what G-d wants you to do? If so, you will be changed! This change doesn't have to take place when you're young ... it might be after you've "weathered" the years (or rather, after the years have "weathered" you!). The G-d of Israel is the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel, had 12 sons who became the heads of the 12 tribes of Israel. Now you see where the nation of Israel came from: from the seed of Abraham, starting with Abraham's grandson, Jacob. Jacob (Israel) was the father of the 12 tribes. G-d called Abraham out and he became a blessing to the whole earth through his obedience. It was through his (Abraham’s) seedline that Yeshua came. Abraham produced a nation (Israel) and that nation produced the Messiah: Yeshua ha Meshiach. The name "Jew" was first used to refer to someone from the tribe of Judah. Later, after the return from the 70 year captivity in the time of Ezra and Nehemiah (we will study this in a later podcast), the name "Jew" was used to refer to anyone from any of the 12 tribes, since the tribe of Judah seemed to make up the larger portion of the remnant of Israel. The children of Israel were originally called "Hebrews". In the Brit Chadasha, the Rabbi Shaul (the apostle Paul) was called a Hebrew; and yet the two terms, "Hebrew" and "Jew", are now used with little distinction. QUESTION: Have you spent time (or, are you spending time) alone with G-d for the reception and the development of the VISION for G-d's purpose in your life? That VISION will help you PERSIST through trials and hardships so that G-d's PROMISE will be fulfilled in your life! If not, start TODAY. Bow your heart before him NOW. Claim this promise in Jeremi ah 33:3: "Call unto me, and I will answer you and show you GREAT and MIGHTY things which you do not know." Pray to the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Ask Him to reveal to you if Yeshua is really your Messiah. If He does, then receive Him into your life. Pray, and ask Him what He wants you to do. Read the Tanakh and the Brit Chadashah. Right now there are 144,000 Jewish men: 12,000 out of every tribe of Israel who will be prophets of G-d (nabi'm) in the final days of Planet Earth. Oh, they may not know what tribe they are from, but G-d knows every tribe and all the members of each tribe. They will prepare the earth for the re-appearing of Messiah Yeshua to establish His Kingdom.  These Jewish men are separated unto God for special service. Some already know they are called – some do not. God will begin to show them with signs they can NOT deny. Baruch haba b’Shem Adonai.
