En el cas de Sitges, tindrà lloc una taula rodona amb legendes i una obra de teatre sobre la malvasia, amb la participació de Joan Carles Borrego, Bienve Moya i Vinyet Panyella, conduïts per Pilar Tarrada, i un acte de reconeixement i homenatge al lingüísta expert en toponímia Ignasi Maria Muntaner. El grup del Garraf format per Rafa Monzó, Jacob Serra, Toni Jordá, Galdric Bover, Francesc Pascual i Elba Vallés han revisitat cinc temes dels seus discos i n'han fet gravació en directe, d'aquesta manera, allunyant-se de l'estudi, han decidit celebrar deu anys de vida de la formació que manté el seu habitual segell de so envolupant i melancòlic amb traces de l'indie i el pop. Per primera vegada junt amb l'EP han presentat també un mini documental fet pel sitgetà Ferran Vilanova, una experiència nova lligada a la celebració dels deu anys de recorregut d'aquesta banda que entén la música com un refugi. Tot plegat a partir d'un estudi que ha recollit les observacions fetes en més de 300 establiments comercials el darrer trimestre del 2024, i que conclou, entre d'altres dades, que el 23% de les persones que atenen el públic inicien la conversa en català, i fins a un 63% segueixen parlant-lo si els clients continuent mantenint la conversa. En canvi, el 35% continuen en castellà tot i que els clients hagin iniciat la conversa en català. Amb Teresa Tort, coordinadora de dinamització i assessorament del CNL Penedès Garraf, parlem de la campanya, tot recordant que la llei obliga als qui venguin productes o prestin serveis a entendre qualsevol de les dues llengües oficials a Catalunya. Per tant, no es pot demanar a ningú que canvïi de llengua pel simple fet de no poder-lo entendre. Ha estat els darrers set anys de la seva vida dedicada en cos i ànima al negoci del quiosc La Premsa del carrer Parellades i finalment el passat 8 d'octubre va abaixar persiana per sempre. Els motius són diversos però principalment l'esgotament acumulat dels darrers anys fruit de dur sola el negoci i un marge de benefici econòmic cada vegada més baix.
