What could be better to celebrate the return of Future Trunks than the return of...Bulmalo? Yes, you read that right. Eric is once again writing Dragon Ball Fan Fiction.
The (other) Future Trunks saga is over! What did our boys think of the ending? Uh...they've got opinions, that's for sure. Let's do this.
In Season 9, Episode 2 — the second track of the As a Man series, Volume 2, titled “As a Man Thinketh,” Izzy Baker sits down with international bestselling author, TEDx speaker, and mind mapping coach John Diggs for one of the most transformative conversations of the season. Inspired by Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Z, the rapper Future, and the scriptures Jeremiah 29:11 and Luke 14:28, this episode is all about designing your life with intentionality, not chaos. Whether you've ever asked, “Am I supposed to be here?” while stuck in a dead-end job or felt like God's voice went silent, this conversation brings clarity instead of clichés. John shares how hitting rock bottom at his mother's house became the launchpad for his purpose. One book changed everything and led him to create Mappineering, a system he now teaches as a tool for life design, mindset rewiring, and emotional healing. Izzy and John explore what it means to outgrow old versions of yourself. They discuss spiritual burnout, emotional clutter, and the silent anxiety many men carry when their life doesn't align with their identity. This is about breaking mental strongholds, not chasing more success. They also explore how mind mapping improves emotional clarity, reduces stress, and provides a blueprint for career and personal transformation. You'll hear practical insight into how the right questions—who, what, when, where, and why can uncover the path God's been showing you all along. If you've been mentally drained, spiritually numb, or quietly confused about your direction, this episode is your reset button. In this episode we do a character spotlight on everyone's favourite Dragon Ball character. The son of a Saiyan Prince, the John Conner Rip-off (joking), the half Saiyan who had purple hair then Blue hair, the guy who made the Bowl Cut cool. Trunks! And don't worry, we discuss of the different version of Trunks. Including main timeline Trunks, Future Trunks, other future Trunks and GT Trunks. Confusing. We know but we still love him. Where do we even start?!!!! The Dragonball Expert Mitchell is here to talk about the shocking conclusion of the Granolah arc!! No was expecting this arc to end the way with did! Our heroes are confronted by Gas one last time and out of all people FRIEZA shows up to the battlefield and DESTROYS EVERYONE! You are probably wondering how Frieza did such a feat, well, Frieza comes back with a new form!!! Mitchell breaks down the entire chapter, talks about Frieza jumps in power, where he ranked at the end of the TOP and where he ranks now! There is so much action in this chapter, sit back, relax and listen to us talk about the final chapter in this arc! Granolah Arc Chapters 67-87 December 2021- August 2022 Moro Arc Chapters 42-67 November 2018 - December 2021 Frieza - At the end of Frieza Arc, he lost to an untrained Super Saiyan Goku - Start of the Android Arc, he gets destroyed by Future Super Saiyan Trunks. Mecha Frieza was stronger than the Frieza who lost to Goku. Around a year has passed. - Gets revived in Resurrection F, over fourteen years after Frieza's demise, two of his men, Sorbet (commander of Frieza's army) and Tagoma (elite soldier), collect all of the Dragon Balls with the aid of the Pilaf Gang and resurrect him, and he is revived as he was just before his death, as Mecha Frieza and in pieces. Sorbet and Tagoma collect all of the pieces save for his right eye which is found by Pilaf, who hands it to Sorbet just as he and Tagoma are about to leave. On Sorbet's Spaceship they put the organic parts in a Medical Machine, Frieza's body is regenerated and he reverts himself back into his first form completely free of his cybernetics. As he recovers inside the chamber Frieza dreams of his first defeat by Super Saiyan Goku, and angrily wakes up, shaking the entire ship. - Afterward, he announces to his soldiers that he will not be satisfied until the Super Saiyans (Goku and Future Trunks) have both been killed. Sorbet tries to protest that they need Frieza's ability to rule to restore the Frieza Force due to its growing unstable, but Frieza silences him with a glare. Frieza is then informed by Sorbet that Goku's power has surpassed that of even Majin Buu, which is far more than Frieza could have imagined. But due to him being a prodigy, Frieza believes that through four months of serious training, he will be able to reach a level of power high enough to wipe out the Saiyans in the blink of an eye. For the next four months, Frieza trained vigorously, sometimes using Tagoma as a training partner. During training sessions with Tagoma, Frieza would beat him within an inch of his life and then have him go heal up for the next days of training, allowing Frieza to both get stronger and master his torturing-type fighting style to allow him to fight Goku for as long as possible without killing him, to cause the Saiyan as much pain as possible. - Golden Frieza is first shown and is at first stronger that Super Saiyain Blue, until the weakness is shown. Frieza jumed from not being able to beat a masted super saiyain to being stronger than a SSB in 4 months. - Frieza dies again, while in Hell in does image training so that he doesn't lose his Golden form so easily anymore. Punches Goku to a stalemate - During the TOP, Jiren, God of Destruction Toppo embrass him, while Goku reaches UI and MUI and Vegeta SSBE. Debateable where you would rank him - Broly Arc, Goes Golden against Super Saiyan Broly and survives a hour ass whooping, while Super Saiyan Broly is stronger than SSB Goku and Vegeta. End of Broly Frieza has plans for Broly. - Moro Frieza is doing his own thing. - Shows up at the end of Graonolah arc, kills Gas and Elec, One Shots Goku and Vegeta, debuts a form above Golden Frieza, as black frieza. Vegeta has reached Ultra Ego and Goku has true ultra-instinct and mastered ultra-instinct. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/level-7-crew/support
Ahead of the release of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero in North American theaters this Friday, we're bringing you three special bonus episodes all about Dragon Ball, originally recorded in 2019 for The Weekly Stuff Podcast. In today's episode, we're talking all about Dragon Ball Super, the TV series that aired between 2015 and 2018, building off the Battle of Gods and Resurrection ‘F' films to expand the world of Dragon Ball into whole new Universes! In this podcast, Sean and Jonathan break down all the major Super arcs, from the rough early episodes retelling the prior films, to the big three anime-original arcs: the Universe 6 vs Universe 7 tournament, the Future Trunks arc, and the giant ‘Universe Survival' arc that pitted all 12 universe's best fighters against one another in a crazy battle royale. Dragon Ball Super's hardest to watch storyline leads to Watch the Universe's worst episode ever. Listen to Alex and Elmer slowly fall into a depression as they try to dissect The Future Trunk's Arc where Goku Black turns into Goku Pink so he can fight Goku Blue and Vegeta Blue. And Trunks is Blue now but not God Blue just regular Blue? Bulma's always been Blue. Piccolo's still Green but that doesn't matter. And there's a Purple Vegeta now? Hey all, this week I'll be discussing fanservice, and I'll be using Fairy Tail as an example of when it's used far too much in a story. While I don't think fanservice is inherently a bad thing, too much of a good thing is always bad for you, and Fairy Tail as series is pretty much fanservice the anime. I'll also briefly talk about the Future Trunks arc of Dragon Ball Super too, kinda all over the place, but just wanted to get all my thoughts out for it. Hopefully you have a good time giving this one a listen, it was fun to just talk about a subject that's kinda silly and at the same time serious. Next week is the season 3 finale so don't miss it! As always thanks for all the love and support :)
Welcome back for Episode 3. This week we are talking about the time-traveling time cop know as Bishop. This character is one of the most unknown heroes of the X-men mythos but is a huge fan favorite among die-hard comic readers of the series. The X-Men need in some way to be introduced into in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but I don't think they should just be introduced with a movie. Instead, they need a buffering movie, to start pushing the idea of mutants in the bigger world they have created. Bishop gets all the info without losing canon. I would bring him from an alternate time very similar to how Future Trunks moves through the Dragonball Multiverse. Like always I try to outline the movie best way I would make the film on a four-act movie structure which is how I like to think movies are made. if you don't know a lot about Bishop I will leave a link to a number of other creators page that has content on Bishop, his background, and his adventure so you can familiarize yourself with the character. Let me know what you think. Leave comments to tell me Your thoughts, and let me know if you would like to Guest star on my episodes some time.

You'd think that after escaping from his apocalyptic timeline, Future Trunks's life could only improve. We're finally at the finale, and it feels so good. After an interesting turn of events with fused Zamasu, Jeff and Meelz bring things back on course for the finale of the Future Trunks arc. The two talk the lackluster return of Vegito and whether he holds a candle to the luster of Gogeta from Dragon Ball Super Broly, the freaky ending to this entire battle, and a long form on the differences in this arc between the manga and anime and why the manga may have much more of a punch than the anime. But before all that, the two talk about the news of Dragon Ball Super potentially returning in July 2018, Son Goku GT being added to Dragon Ball FighterZ, and the one year anniversary of The Lookout. Things go from bad to worse when they discover Goku Black isn't the only threat. Ali (@OmegamanX2) joins Meelz and Jeff to run through Episode 29 of The Lookout, as the group takes their first venture into the future and their theories are turned upside down when Goku Black is joined by Zamasu. Throughout this episode we discuss Future Trunks' relationship with Vegeta, Zamasu's evil character development and if he's in the conversation for best Dragon Ball villain, an interlude with Grand Zeno, the over-the-top debut of Super Saiyan Rosé, and the major battle between the crusaders of so-called "justice" and good. Today is the day Dragon Ball Super fans have been waiting for. After months of waiting, a long-awaited project fans have been clamoring for has arrived. And no, I’m not talking about the Broly movie. Told you we'd be back on the reg. Silly Namiacs. Mike Hancho and Seth (AKA Ol Kami) are holding YOU down with more Dragon Ball Super coverage. Filler, yes. Falling behind the English Dub, yes. A collection of inappropriate and insensitive humor, yes! But that's why we're here... and apparently you too.Making up for lost time! Today we cover episodes 73 through 76, so buckle up! No manga of course as its all filler. Lil Dende is still out on his military adventure. PooPoo from DBZ Amino has given us honor, and so in return. Watagosh helps Berry the blowhard to ruin Gohan's movie fun time with Coco the hot teen-throb. We give the Wayne's World "Schwing" to Bulma... not Demi Moore. Videl is the best wife ever!!! And in ep 75 and 76 Goku and Krillin gots to train, when they should just go for cock-pushups. While the award for "most savage" goes to Android 18. We also get to see Frieza, Cell, the Ginyu Force, and lots of other old foes! But Krillin just doesn't wanna fight. All ends well with Roshi munching down on some Kush! Stay tuned for more bonus episodes too. See y'all on the flip side.Click here to play episode 30NamekianPublicRadio.com/YoutubeTwitter @NamekianPodcastFacebookNamekianPublicRadio@gmail.comPatreon.com/NamekianPublicRadioAll music created and given by Urizen, urizenonline.com/
Our summer break is over, so you can once again count on us at Namekian Public Radio for reliable and consistent episode releases. The quality however...Was it worth it? Let us work it. We put our thing down, flipped it and reversed it. Yeah we know the bonus episode came out before this one. So what!? And we know it's been over a month since our last episode. So, What. Here is our Dragon Ball Super filler coverage of eps 70, 71 and 72. No manga cuz... it's filler time! Mike Hancho (Guytar) joins as the new Co-Host in our triumphant return. We're still giving away the Vegeta Bundle Pack... and... who is your daddy and what does he do?Cat Oolong, AKA Champa, challenges Beerus to the great America past-time. But really, it's Yamcha's episode. or Jimi Hendrix. Then Goku dies?! Again? Is it because Bulma hit him with her car? No. It's because the Hit came back the very next day, the Hit came back... we thought he was a gonner. Did you think we were gonners? Well, here we are again too! Stay tunes Namiacs cuz Mike and Seth are bringing the heat this season with "NPR 2.0: Son of NPR - The Return "Vengeance never sleeps" the sequel"Click here to play episode 29NamekianPublicRadio.com/YoutubeTwitter @NamekianPodcastFacebookNamekianPublicRadio@gmail.comPatreon.com/NamekianPublicRadioAll music created and given by Urizen, urizenonline.com/
Secondary Puberty is taking it's toll on Ol Kami during this filler show and Lil Dende won't let it go. We cover episodes 68 and 69! ... 69! ok. No manga comparison save that there is a Dr Slump character! We are still doing our Vegeta Bundle Pack Giveaway... so go do that... so you can win. So, Uhmm yeah.In this episode we see that Gregory is a doubting Tomas, Bulma makes for a pretty good Shenron, Roshi gets his perv on, Whis and Beerus crash the party, Oolong is pigscriminated against, and Pan nearly dies from a deadly cold... of deadliness! But everyone gets a kitty spanking instead... especially Bulma. Toriyama's older creation Arale makes her debut in ep 69 and is reunited with Goku after 30 years, the Manga gags hit a new high for Dragon Ball! They nearly destroy the earth and Beerus nearly poops himself. Oh and never mind the computer issues... we put them back in line though. This is the end my friends, the end of the Goku Black Arc. Due to our break, this episode will come out after the English Dub's airing. But don't fret, we'll catch back up. Either way Ol Kami and Lil Dende are here to give you the grand finale of this arc, an hour and a half of our coverage of the anime and manga's end! What if the boys would have enlisted Buu,? the Kai killer! What if Zen-Oh wouldn't have taken kindly to Goku's creepy and informal violation of personal space? What do I do if there's inclement weather? Goku's luck prevails again, we find a new placement for Potara earrings, time travel makes no sense, Burter is the definitive fastest in the universe, and Zamasu had a time machine the whole time?! Pilaf comes in as a MPV too!? Robert and Seth give a comprehensive overview of this saga in the way that only that can; are mortals worthy of existence or can they redeem their dastardly behavior through might? Can Dragon Ball Super move past Trunks' hair color change? Can the fans move past the change in Goku Black's voice? Weeeeeee're baaaaaaaack! After 25 episodes of go go go, mother nature was like "Slooooooooow Dooooooooown". So take a break and get some R and R is what we did. Thanks for stickin with us!Ep 65 and 66 of Dragon Ball Super is what Ol Kami and Lil Dende are bringin you this week, with corresponding manga chapters (23-26). And this is the penultimate Goku Black Arc episode coverage. Also don't forget about our Vegeta Bundle Pack giveaway, you can help us spread the Namekian love, while winning yourself some signed swag by sharing our Facebook post or getting your closest bro or broette to start listening! Try it out. Goku Black and Zamasu are fused, his moves are constantly named and Seth (Ol Kami) declares his switch in allegiance... to Zamasu! The days of Frieza reigning supreme are no more, though he'll always have a special place in our frozen little hearts. Zamasu is GOAT for Super. Fight me. I mean he's basically Jesus. A Jesus that beats the Blue out of Goku and Vegeta and breaks Trunks' sword. We see a father/ son Gatlic Gun, Zamasu goes all Two-Face, we get more fusion but with a major retcon. Trunks acts as a white mage in the manga, Zamasu acts like Ebony Maw, Vegeto stabs Zamasu first... but it doesn't stop him from monologuing. The manga clarifies some issues left by the anime, which is why you listen to us anyway right? And it shows off some of that new new; like Goku using Hakai energy, merged Zamasu multiplying, a lot, and so much more! Stay tuned for next weeks finale of what some say is the best arc in Dragon Ball Super. Zamasu can't come back from the powerful beam of pure socialism unleashed by Future Trunks, but I guess also he's the sky now? Lord Zenu wraps everything up in a nice little package, Beerus and Whis return, and the sexual tension between the multiverse Trunks and Mai is still weird. Hello, welcome and thank you for tuning into our 25th episode extravaganza! We drop the official announcement for the Vegeta Bundle Pack Giveaway [Including a signed by Christopher Sabat sticker, button and Lego] as a "Thanks for showin' up!" prize.(Die hard listeners are already aware)TO WIN: Share our Vegeta Bundle Pack Giveaway Facebok post or send us proof that you expanded our listenership. pretty easy right?!Ol Kami and Lil Dende comin' at ya with another dope installment of the Goku Black arc! An you know we be coverin' that anime (ep62-64) AND that manga (ch19-22), we watch the SUB and the DUB... So when you listen to Seth and Robert you know you're gettin' that good good.Trunks spars off against Black, even more exposition about the Black/ Zamasu relationship, and our boi Piccolo comes up with the idea of the saga (MPV candidate) but Goku says he'd rather learn from Master Roshi!? The manga shows Goku Black as a Super Saiyan in between base and Rose, did you know that? Now you do. Vegeta wrecks the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, again! Yajirobi just keeps showing up to save the day so Trunks can fist Black after the old gay couple (B&Z) have more tea before Mai snipes em... to no avail (Confusing?! ... that's how these episodes feel). As the intellectual giants of your planet, we pose the question of "what happens to Whis when Beerus dies?" because of when Supreme Kai dies? Now back to Vegeta gives us his awesome "Saiyan Cell Speech" while wrecking Black, Zamasu gets really really angry, and Ol Kami get lewd! Goku gets impotent around Black's pink gash, Trunks wants to center for the Broncos, and Bulma pinches Zamasu's nipples but he only wants Black... obvi. The Mafuba goes of with a hitch, because Goku, but in the manga we see Vegeta SSG (red) do the Mafuba... still unsuccessfully. Tune in to see who wins... could be you! Robert (AKA lil Dende) and Seth (AKA ol Kami) are back once again, dishing out the hottest Namekian News in the galaxy and covering Dragon Ball Super episodes 59, 60 and 61, starting with "Destroy Zamasu!". We Namekians, give you the full spectrum experience of DBS, including the Manga. Wherein Supreme Kai, Beerus, Whis and Goku hatch a plan to catch Zamasu in any possible evil acts, while Yajarobi gets his cookies stolen, Trunks fights himself, and Gowasu loves buns but Zamasu gives him the chop... then in turn gets the Ha-Kai. We get a lesson in time travel theory, recall an episode of Cribs "Anime Edition", go even deeper down the time line/ multi-verse rabbit hole, compare The Young to the Restless to DBS and then compare Zamasu to Narcissus. Black not only stole Goku's body but is also using his Zen Kai Boost to go from SSJ to SSJ Rose. Where will this madness end?! Find out next time on NPR! And make sure to keep listening for the thrilling conclusion to this saga.Click here to play episode 24NamekianPublicRadio.com/Twitter @NamekianPodcastFacebookEmail- NamekianPublicRadio@gmail.comPatreon.com/NamekianPublicRadioAll music created and given by Urizen, urizenonline.com/
Seth and Robert get back into the Goku Black Arc ... and yes, that is Chris Sabat's voice as Piccolo at the opening of the show! Tell hyou hwhat! Today we're starting of with Dragon Ball Super episode 56 (through 58) and chapter 18 of the manga. "Don't shoot, this man isn't Black!" is it that funny? Is Vegeta doomed to an evil plight due to his FACE?! Are Trunks and Mai in love? Will we ever stop referencing Will Ferrell material? ... find out this time on Namekian Public Radio! Goku and Vegeta face off again against Black, but this time we see an increase in Black's power. Trunks Vs Zamasu and Goku Vs Black only because Vegeta got stabbed. Poor Geets, but he does save the day! Zuno makes a return only to get abused by Mean Green Z, and we diagnose the "knower of all things" as being on the Autistic Spectrum. And finally the relationship between Zamasu and Black is revealed. We end with some news: Kameha Con 2019 is confirmed and DBZ-Tour is ramping up to be a great summer event. Don't miss Linda Young's voice as OG Freiza closing us out too! Not to mention our post credit content, might... just... give you a lil heads up...Click here to play episode 23NamekianPublicRadio.com/Twitter @NamekianPodcastFacebookNamekianPublicRadio@gmail.comPatreon.com/NamekianPublicRadioAll music created and given by Urizen, urizenonline.com/
All my friends are dead, push me to the edge. Episode 10 covers the TV special 'The History of Trunks', which plays a pivotal role in telling the background story of Future Trunks, who traveled through time to save the future after his timeline was destroyed by two killer Androids. We run through how dark this special is, the various and tons of plot holes that occur in this story, the number of deaths that pile up in a matter of minutes and we ask ourselves possibly the most important question: Does this thing even hold up today? We also kick off the podcast by recapping the week in Dragon Ball news that includes a new Dragon Ball anime coming down the pipeline, new designs from the upcoming Dragon Ball movie, and RIP Jose Lavat. We've re-upped the RNC RADIO LIVE playlists with the newest songs in hip hop. Seth and Robert go straight from watching Avengers Infinity War to recording this episode but don't worry though, no spoilers. We try and succeed in sticking to the Goku Black arc, moving from episode 53 to 55 of the anime and chapters 16 and 17 in the manga. Zamasu and Gowasu are introduced to a fight happy Goku, and it goes great! These episodes delve deep into issues like justice and punishment. They also get a bit confusing with multiple universes and timelines, and when you add in the divergences within the manga .... things get craycray. Pilaf and Mai finally become a real part of the story that isn't annoying for once. We see Trunks and Vegeta spar, meet the Barbari, get a call from Zen-Oh and go to his pad too! Come along and join us on a magical journey!oh and sorry about Chip's bad allergies, he should have been culled by Thanos along with everyone else. Chapo Trap House's own Will Menaker joins us for probably the best episode of Dragon Ball Super so far. It's got everything you could want; beams, fisties, punchies, boyfriends, a fairly homophobic scene where Future Trunks goes out of his way to point out that it'd be kinda gay for Yajirobi to baby-bird a senzu bean into his mouth. What more could you want?! We made it past 20 episodes, thanks for the support Namiacs! There's more great content coming your way all the time. Chip's DBZ Amino account is pumpin' out polls and articles like "Goku the Innocent?" a comparison with Enkidu from the Epic of Gilgamesh. Our next Patreon release will be CSPN coverage, super cereal. As for Dragon Ball Super's anime, we cover eps 50, 51 and 52 (and corresponding Manga chapters, but that's not much) of the Goku Black Arc. Per usual, Goku could take out the enemy up front but doesn't. Black is a masochist who blows things up like jerk, the time continuum gets confusing, things start to feel fillerish and we learn what happened to King Kai's sense of humor. And and, there are heart warming moments between Gohan and Trunks. Urizen is on tour and hangin' with us at Kameha Con! Hello, welcome and thank you for joining ol Chip and Grilled Cheese! This week we are starting off the Goku Black arc, woot woot! Dragon Ball Super's anime episode 47 and manga chapter 14 is where this saga starts, and we'll compare and contrast the two for our official school report. Bulma dies?! OMG!!! Piccolo gets tricked into chores, and so does Krillin, while Goku joins Vegeta on Lord Beerus' planet for more training. Trunks and Mai's story develops and deepens. We also learn about some extra universes and more about this Zeno character. The controversy over Goku Black's English voice acting and Trunk's hair color spills into even our show. --Shout out to Onyx the Fortuitous-- The divergence between anime and manga really gets going here, so don't get it twisted. And lastly but not leastly... The countdown for Kameha Con is at about 2 weeks, so you still have time to attend and come see see your 4th or 5th favorite Dragon Ball podcasters!
