Danny Miranda is a community leader in Austin, TX and a top podcast host, with The Danny Miranda Podcast. He has hosted heavy hitting guests on his show such as Andy Frisella, Mike Posner, Alex Hormozi and many more. Recently, he shared his 75 Hard story on Andy Frisella's podcast, Real AF. Today, Danny is focused on creating content on Twitter, coaching and hosting retreats. Danny shares an impactful story when he was 15 years old and was managaing a New York Knicks blog. One day, he skipped school to go to the Knicks Media Day and was clearly the youngest reporter in the room. Even at a young age, Danny understood that he was never going to put a limit on his potential and success. His next big career move was to run an ecommerce business. He was living in San Diego with a few of his friends, making over $10k/month. He was living a life that most people would view as successful. Instead, he felt unfulfilled. He took a leap of faith to pursue what was on his heart and walk away from a successful dropshipping business. A huge catalyst to this career change was completing the 75 Hard program. Danny shares great insight on meditation and selecting a great support system. Danny also closes out with defining success, and leaving incredible actionable advice for the audience.

34. Q. What is effectual calling? A. Effectual calling is the work of God's Spirit (2 Tim. 1:9; 2 Thess. 2:13, 14), whereby convincing us of our sin and misery (Acts 2:37), enlightening our minds in the knowledge of Christ (Acts 26:18), and renewing our wills (Ez. 36:26, 27), he doth persuade and enable us to embrace Jesus Christ freely offered to us in the gospel (John 6:44, 45; Phil. 2:13). 35. Q. What benefits do they that are effectually called partake of in this life? A. They that are effectually called do in this life partake of justification (Rom. 8:30), adoption (Eph. 1:5), sanctification, and the several benefits which in this life do either accompany or flow from them (1 Cor. 1:30).

Most of us have experienced a brief power outage at some point but what if the power in your home went out for days, would you be prepared? What about a lockdown and going to the market with empty shelves and no access to things like toilet paper? We've experienced this with the pandemic but are you prepared in case something like that happens again without warning? What about wild fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, or some other natural disaster or emergency situation? If you needed to flee your home, would you be ready to leave safely and with the items you need to survive until the situation is better? Do you know what to have on hand at home or in order to flee? Friend to Friend: Hope for your Heart and Help from His Word
Bonus Episode | Today’s Episode is the second session from our recently hosted Friend to Friend Live Ladies Conference. In this lesson, I share how cultivating a heart for Christ is not without its enemies. The throne of our heart belongs to the rightful King and if we’re not careful, like the children of Israel, we’ll bow down to idols of our past, our upbringing and our culture. God alone is worthy of our worship! The only King worthy of pointing others toward is Christ! In this Episode: If you are dealing with clutter, I have on an expert who is going to help you get your home organized! Kathy Vines is a Certified Professional Organizer and she shares her best tips for decluttering our homes. We tackle clothes, papers, memorabilia and the systems + habits that will help you create the peaceful home environment you desire. Key Takeaways: If someone says they are disorganized - they are disorganized in one of three areas: 1. stuff 2.systems or 3. habits The 5 main categories where people struggle: 1. clothes 2. books 3. collections 4. memorabilia 5. paperwork Start your kids at a young age to put things away. Managing the emotional piece with an item. Just because something is memorable doesn't mean it is important. You need to assess the value around the importance. Declutter to give a gift to your future self. Clean the dishes in the sink every night so your future self wakes up to a clean kitchen. Uncover what isn't working so you can create systems to solve for the problems. Paper - you need a system. Past, Present. Future. Kathy says to prioritize the current paper over the past paper. Go through all of the paper and she asks her clients to ask "What is the action I need to take with this piece of paper?" For example, pay a bill or add something to your calendar like an invite. If you are overwhelmed start with one small space - like a drawer. Group, like with like. Start with something unemotional. Questions you can ask: "What does this room need to do for you?" "How can you make it fully functioning?" "What do you need to solve for these problems?" Her three best tips: 1. Everything has to have a home. 2. Ask "what does finished look like?" and work backwards to what you need to do to make that happen 3. Notice and beware of how often you say I'll do that "later" - always pick the best choice for "future you" and start now. Lurking in the shadows of what we want & what we need is what we desire. We want what we want only to find out when we get it, it doesn't satisfy us. When we get what we need, it often seems boring to us. Wants reveal what we value, needs reveal what is necessary, but our desires reveal what is truly valuable. Only when we find what we truly desire will we be satisfied. This series will help you stop using God to get what you want and, instead, submit to Him to get what you truly desire.
