A seleção brasileira enfrenta neste domingo (5) a Noruega por uma vaga nas quartas de final da Copa do Mundo. Elcio Ramalho, enviado especial da RFI a Nova Jersey Brasil e Noruega se enfrentaram quatro vezes, sendo três delas em amistosos. O primeiro confronto, em 1988, terminou em 1 a 1, mesmo resultado do mais recente, em 2006. Em 1997, a seleção foi goleada pelos noruegueses por 4 a 2 e, na única vez em que se enfrentaram na Copa do Mundo, em 1998, na fase de grupos, o Brasil, já classificado, relaxou. Abriu o placar, mas viu os noruegueses virarem e vencerem por 2 a 1. Presente na seleção de 1998 como jogador, o atual treinador da Noruega, Ståle Solbakken, vê muitas diferenças entre as duas equipes. "A seleção de 1998 era muito baseada na defesa e nos contra-ataques. Hoje procuramos marcar mais, controlar o jogo e pressionar o adversário. Temos jogadores com essas características e essa é uma grande diferença." Ståle Solbakken reconhece o favoritismo do Brasil, embora, segundo ele, a equipe brasileira já não seja aquela superfavorita de outros tempos. "O Brasil obviamente é favorito, mas eu também disse que talvez não seja tão favorito quanto já foi há alguns anos. É difícil atribuir uma porcentagem. O importante é que nós acreditamos que podemos vencer o Brasil, mas, para isso, teremos que jogar o nosso melhor futebol." O treinador Carlo Ancelotti sabe que vai enfrentar um adversário difícil, com muitas qualidades ofensivas, como afirmou durante entrevista coletiva na véspera da partida. "Na frente, a Noruega tem um potencial muito alto, tem muita qualidade ofensiva. O que vimos nos últimos jogos foi uma equipe muito equilibrada. É difícil jogar contra eles, pois têm um equilíbrio muito grande", declarou. A força ofensiva da Noruega está principalmente no atacante Erling Haaland, um dos artilheiros da Copa, com cinco gols até agora. Mas o italiano garante que não tem uma orientação particular para os zagueiros brasileiros, principalmente Marquinhos e Gabriel Magalhães, anularem o gigante norueguês. "Haaland todo mundo conhece. Não tenho que explicar aos zagueiros, Marquinhos e Gabriel Magalhães, porque eles já jogaram contra ele muitas vezes. Então, vai depender da opção do Mister." Bruno Guimarães também está preparado para um jogo em que o meio-campo será fundamental para bloquear um dos pontos fortes da equipe europeia: as bolas paradas. "Acho que vai ser um jogo muito truncado. Sabemos que eles têm como principal arma as bolas levantadas na área. Em qualquer escanteio ou falta, vão dar a vida para tentar marcar um gol. Trabalhamos muito isso durante a semana para neutralizar os pontos fortes deles." Jogador do Newcastle, da Inglaterra, Bruno Guimarães conhece de perto o atacante Haaland e sabe o que é preciso fazer para impedi-lo de aparecer no jogo. "Haaland? Já joguei muitas vezes contra ele. Para mim, é um dos melhores atacantes do mundo, ao lado de Harry Kane. É um jogador diferenciado. Precisamos tentar impedir que a bola chegue até ele", adverte Aos 29 anos, Bruno Guimarães diz viver sua melhor fase, com mais maturidade do que na Copa de 2022, e revela ter um sonho. "Na minha vida profissional, o que me falta é conquistar uma Copa do Mundo. É algo que eu quero muito. Estou preparado para, se preciso for, morrer em campo pela seleção e dar o meu melhor. Esse é o meu objetivo: continuar jogando bem, ajudando a equipe, porque este é um dos maiores sonhos da minha vida", diz.
