In this episode, Dr. Lahana sits down with Addison, a certified hypnotherapist and business mentor who's built wild success by mastering the subconscious mind. Addison shares how she overcame fear, imposter syndrome, and limiting beliefs to scale her business to multiple six figures - using the same hypnotherapy tools she now teaches her clients. We dive deep into the subconscious, how it impacts wellness, and how hypnotherapy creates powerful transformation. Plus, Addison opens up about her health journey with colitis, her go-to wellness tools like red light therapy, her fitness routine, and the life-changing resources she swears by. This is an episode you don't want to miss! --- Addison is a certified hypnotherapist and business mentor who has created what many would call “wild” or “unrealistic” success in record time using the power of hypnotherapy. When she first started her business, Addison struggled with a deep fear of being seen, imposter syndrome, and the habit of outsourcing her power through comparison and self-doubt. But everything changed when she launched her first group coaching program and realized she needed to address the subconscious beliefs holding her back. That's when she turned to hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy involves the induction of trance—scientifically recognized as entering the theta brain wave state—where the subconscious mind becomes open to suggestion and positive change. It's often said that if someone hasn't yet reached a goal in business or life, there's likely a limiting belief standing in the way. Addison helps her clients use hypnotherapy to rewire those beliefs so they can release blocks and attract the reality they truly desire. In her first year of coaching, Addison generated over $150K, doubled that in her second year, and has helped clients go from $0 to $5K in just 10 weeks and reach their first $25K month. Her work is rooted in the integration of deep, subconscious transformation and real, aligned business strategy. --- FREE MINDSET HYPNOSIS INSTAGRAM Resources: Just the Addison Bowen Podcast Diary of the CEO podcast The Power of the Subconscious Mind - By Joesph Murphy Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself - Joe Dispenza --- Ready to work with us 1:1? Subscriber-only episodeAnxiety has a way of sneaking up on us, transforming from a manageable merry-go-round into something far more disorienting and suffocating. With market volatility, endless news cycles, and algorithm-driven content feeding our fears, it's no wonder many entrepreneurs find themselves trapped in an anxiety spiral that paralyzes progress.Through this deeply personal episode, I unpack the progression of anxiety and how it manifests in our business lives. Drawing from conversations with clients and my own experiences, I reveal how anxiety evolves from something we can step away from into a force that pins us against the wall. But more importantly, I offer a practical five-step framework to break free: recognizing anxiety for what it is, calming your nervous system (with reference to Dr. Lahana's strategies from our previous episode), reconnecting with your purpose, taking small but meaningful actions, and finding the right support system. What makes this approach different is the focus on your audience – remembering that they need your solutions, and if anxiety keeps you stuck, they miss out on what only you can provide. Your gifts aren't just for you; they're meant to serve others. Whether you're experiencing hormonal shifts amplifying these feelings or simply navigating uncertain times, these steps provide a path forward without minimizing the very real experience of anxiety.Ready to move past this paralyzing spiral? Check out our Insider community at the special unhinged listener rate, or book a discovery call to explore how personalized coaching might be the supportive hand you need. Your audience is waiting for what only you can offer – let's make sure anxiety doesn't stand in the way of your impact.
Ready to transform your entrepreneurial experience from constant stress to sustainable success? Dr. Lahana Vigliano reveals how your nervous system directly impacts your business decisions, creativity, and bottom line. Most business owners don't realize they're operating in a perpetual fight-or-flight state, with their bodies producing the same stress hormones whether they're missing a deadline or being chased by a tiger. This physiological state doesn't just feel uncomfortable – it actively undermines strategic thinking, leadership presence, and business growth.Dr. Lahana breaks down the surprising signs of nervous system dysregulation beyond obvious anxiety, including brain fog, digestive issues, and poor sleep quality. She offers remarkably simple techniques anyone can implement throughout their workday: deep belly breathing that signals safety to your body, humming or singing to stimulate your vagus nerve, and scheduling proper meals (because 95% of women entrepreneurs simply don't eat enough). The conversation explores how to structure your workday for optimal nervous system support – from filling your cup before logging on to creating firm boundaries around work hours and prioritizing genuine fun. These practices aren't indulgences; they're strategic investments in your business performance and sustainability. What makes this episode particularly valuable is Dr. Lahana's blend of scientific explanation and practical application. You'll walk away understanding not just what to do differently, but why these changes create such profound shifts in your entrepreneurial capabilities. Whether you're struggling with decision fatigue, creative blocks, or simply feeling overwhelmed, these nervous system regulation techniques offer an accessible path to calmer, more profitable entrepreneurship.Ready to stop the cycle of stress and start building your business from a place of nervous system regulation? _______

My guest today, Lahana Vigliano, is the CEO of Nuvitru Wellness and a board-certified and holistic clinical nutritionist in Austin, TX. She's here to answer all of our questions about stress – where does it come from, how can we reduce it, and what is it really doing in our bodies? She also asks some of her own – teaching us to question our food choices, what's actually in your control, and what isn't? It's time to get honest with ourselves, and shame is not invited to the party. Our bodies are so evolutionarily driven that when stress crops up, we can't distinguish if we're being chased by a lion, or are just stuck in traffic. It's only natural that women's bodies would try to shut down ovulation in times of danger as those would, to our body, seem like a pretty bad time to bring a child into the world – right?! Lahana is wise beyond her years, sharing so many actionable tips in this one that you'll want to grab a notepad. The key though, as she explains, is not letting your brand new anti-stress routine stress you out. Start with what feels natural – try spending time in nature, journaling, or breathwork – and build from there. We Chat About: Lahana's background in medicine Can you kill it? This week's episode aims to normalize the idea of the loss of your kid not being who you imagined who they would be. This is a universal experience for parents as most kids, once they start developing their own identities, start to have interests and hobbies that may not align with what you'd imagined for them. Dr. Laura Anderson brings on Lisette Lahana, LCSW to share her expertise in how grief affects families who raise a gender expansive child. Lisette Lahana is a licensed clinical social worker with Bachelor degrees in Critical Gender Studies and Psychology and a Masters of Social Work from Smith College. Her extensive experience providing gender affirming care to transgender, non binary, intersex, those questioning and people who are re-transitioning spans over 23 years. She is a certified member and mentor with World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) since 2002. Lisette has a full-time psychotherapy practice where she works individually with clients of all ages with a primary focus on gender. What You Will Learn: How grief can be affirming of a gender expansive child and how it can get in the wayYou can grieve aspects of a child's gender journey without grieving who they are It's okay to let your child know you're struggling ( including do's and don'ts for how to share that) The two types of ambiguous lossWhen you find ways to grieve the loss of your own expectations, you make room to celebrate your child Resources:https://www.lisettelahana.com/
