From this week's Moneyweek Magazine …Two rumours have been swirling around the gold markets for many years. Some have called them conspiracy theories. Others note that conspiracy theories often prove true. What's the difference between conspiracy and truth? About 30 years. The first is that China has far more gold than it says it does. We actually now know this to be true. The other is that America has far less than the 8,133 tonnes of gold it says it possesses. This rumour has been doing the rounds since 1971, when Peter Beter, a lawyer and financial adviser to former president John F. Kennedy, said he had been informed that gold in Fort Knox had been removed. He went on to write a best-selling book about it: The Conspiracy Against the Dollar. The problem is a total lack of transparency on the part of the US authorities, something that according to current US president Donald Trump, and the head of the Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk, will not be the case for much longer.Roosevelt triggers a boomBut to understand this situation we need to go back in time, all the way to 1933, when US president Franklin D. Roosevelt famously devalued the US dollar and revalued gold upwards by 70%, from $20 an ounce (oz) to $35/oz, in order to bolster growth. US gold reserves would increase to unprecedented levels in the next 15 years. Some of the gold came from US citizens. It was now illegal for them to own gold and they had to hand any they owned over to the authorities. Some came from the fact that the government then bought all US mined supply (the upwards revaluation of gold triggered a mining boom) and any gold imported to the US assay office. The US even began buying gold on foreign markets to protect the new higher price. Thus US official holdings in 1939 on the eve of World War II totalled 15,679 tonnes. They would only increase. With Nazi invasions, European nations sent all the gold they could across the Atlantic, either for safekeeping or to buy essential supplies; 1949 saw the high watermark of US gold holdings – 22,000 tonnes, as much as half of all the gold ever mined. In July 1944, with it clear that the Allies were going to win the war, representatives from the 44 Allied nations met at the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods for the United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference to design a new system of money for the new world order.International accounts would be settled in dollars, and those dollars were convertible to gold at $35/oz. Countries had to maintain exchange rates within 1% of the US dollar. In effect, the US was on a gold standard, and the rest of the world was on a dollar standard. The system relied on the integrity of the US dollar to work, and that integrity was in question, even before the end of the war. The June 1945 Federal Reserve Act reduced required gold reserves for notes outstanding from 40% to 25%, and against deposits from 35% to 25%. Between 1944 and 1954, because of increased supply, the dollar lost a third of its purchasing power, though the $35 Bretton Woods price remained.“Six major European countries, along with the UK, co-ordinated sales to suppress the gold price”US government spending was soaring, and it began running balance of payments deficits – made worse by the costs of foreign aid, America's new welfare systems and maintaining a military presence in Europe and Asia. Gold began leaving the US. By 1965 reserves had fallen by 9,500 tonnes, down 40% from the 1949 peak.Successive US administrations tried to stop the outflow, without success. Dwight D. Eisenhower banned Americans from buying gold overseas, Kennedy imposed the “equalisation tax” on foreign investments, and Lyndon B. Johnson discouraged Americans from travelling altogether. “We may need to forgo the pleasures of Europe for a while,” he said.Fears that the dollar would devalue following the election (won by Kennedy) sent the gold price in London to $40/oz. The Bank of England, in collusion with the Federal Reserve, began increasing gold sales to keep the price down. Thus did the London gold pool begin, with the addition of six major European nations the following year (Belgium, France, the Netherlands, West Germany, Italy and Switzerland), which co-ordinated sales to suppress, or “stabilise”, to use their word, the gold price and defuse unwanted, upward market pressure. But the pool struggled against growing demand. In 1965, an ounce of gold was still $35, but the purchasing power of the dollar had decreased by 57% from 1945, while gold reserves had also fallen sharply. The culprit was the costs of the US government, in particular the Vietnam War and president Johnson's enormous welfare spending. If you are buying gold to protect yourself in these uncertain times - and you should if you do not already own some - as always I recommend The Pure Gold Company. Pricing is competitive, quality of service is high. They deliver to the UK, the US, Canada and Europe or you can store your gold with them. More here.Bretton Woods under pressureWith inflation rising at home and international confidence in the dollar waning, these programmes were not just costly – they undermined Bretton Woods. Non-American nations felt aggrieved that they had to produce $100 worth of goods and services to get a $100 bill, when the US could just print one. French finance minister Valéry Giscard d'Estaing called it “America's exorbitant privilege”.President de Gaulle, meanwhile, had had enough. He ignored the pool to turn all French dollars and sterling balances into gold. The French even sent battleships to New York to collect their gold. De Gaulle became the target of several assassination attempts – coincidence, I'm sure. There were rather more US dollars in the world than there was gold to back them, he felt, and he was right.By 1967, US foreign liabilities were $36bn, but it only had $12bn in gold reserves – a third of what was needed to back the dollar. West Germany, Spain and Switzerland began demanding gold for their dollars. Even the British, with sterling going through one of its quadrennial collapses, asked the Americans to prepare $3bn worth of Fort Knox gold for withdrawal. Private gold demand was overwhelming.“The floor of the Bank of England's weighing room collapsed under the weight of all the bullion”In November 1967, the British government devalued the pound by 14%, from $2.80 to $2.40, in order to “achieve a substantial surplus on the balance of payments consistent with economic growth and full employment”.In that month, the London market saw greater bullion demand than it would typically see in nine: as much as 100 tonnes per day. To stem demand they banned forward buying, leverage and the purchase of gold with credit. The pool still lost 1,400 tonnes that year, more than a whole year's mined supply.Selling pressure on the US dollar only increased when the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese People's Army of Vietnam launched the first of a series of surprise attacks on US armed forces in South Vietnam in January 1968.Desperate to prop up the system, US military aircraft flew tonne after tonne of gold to RAF Lakenheath from where it was trucked in military convoys to the back entrance of the Bank of England: at one point the floor of the Bank of England's weighing room collapsed under the weight of all the gold. You really should subscribe to this amazing publication.Shoring up the systemIn the four days between 11 March and 14 March 1968, some 780 tonnes were sold to market. The effort to protect the price was deemed hopeless. On 15 March, UK chancellor Roy Jenkins declared a bank holiday, and the gold market was closed for a fortnight, “at the request of the United States”.Zurich also closed. Paris stayed open with gold trading at a 25% premium. All in all, the final 15 months saw over 3,000 tonnes sold to market to protect that $35 price. The pool had lost more than an eighth of its reserves. Two days later, in the rushed-through Washington Agreement, governors of the central banks in the gold pool declared there would be one fixed gold marketfor official government transactions at $35/oz and another, free-market, price for private transactions. Not for the last time, central bankers were living in a world of their own.Gold is one thing. Gold standards are another. They tend not to last, particularly bogus ones such as this one, under which citizens themselves did not handle gold. Keynes called them barbarous – ironic, perhaps, given that he was one of the architects of this one.In August 1971, president Nixon took the US off the gold standard, a “temporary” measure that remains more than 50 years later. For the first time in history, gold – Switzerland aside – played no part in the global monetary system.Of course it was the fault of the speculators. It always is. “I have directed the secretary of the Treasury to take the action necessary to defend the dollar against the speculators,” Nixon said, deflecting responsibility, and “to suspend temporarily the convertibility of the dollar into gold”.High time for a US gold auditThe US keeps its gold in four places: at Fort Knox, Kentucky (roughly 56% of its 8,133 tonnes); at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (8%); and the remaining 36% at the mints in Denver and West Point. There has not been a proper public audit of this gold since 1953. There have been internal audits, especially between 1974 and 1986, but these were not transparent. There are many people, among them gold experts, who do not believe the gold is there. The US spent it trying to suppress the gold price in the 1960s, theysay. But in this new age of American transparency, both Trump and Musk have repeatedly pledged that this gold will be audited. There is talk of it being done on a livestream. Trump has even suggested the gold has been stolen. “We're actually going to Fort Knox to see if the gold is there,” he said, “because maybe somebody stole the gold. Tonnes of gold.”They've been making such light of it, one has to assume they know the gold is there. Musk was laughing about the conspiracies on podcasts, and he even posted a picture of a Fort Knox starter kit: a brick and some gold spray. I can't see how they would be joking if there were any serious doubts.Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent, has said quite categorically that the gold is there. The last audit was in September 2024, he said in a recent Bloomberg interview, before looking down the camera and assuring the US people that “all the gold is present and accounted for”. But this would only have been an internal audit, and it would not have been a full audit.According to the US Mint, “the only gold removed has been very small quantities used to test the purity of gold during regularly scheduled audits”. No other gold has been transferred to or from the depository “for many years”. How long is many years, though? As far back as the 1960s?It's quite astonishing just how secretive the whole thing is. They opened the vaults for a congressional delegation and certain members of the press to view the gold in 1974. There were rumours swirling about then too. “We've never done this before and we'll probably never do it again,” said the then director of the US Mint Mary Brooks.“The gold commonly confiscated under Roosevelt contained some copper, and is not pure enough for sale”Then in 2017, during Trump's first administration, Treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin and Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell were invited to view the gold. “The gold was there,” Mnuchin said. He is “sure” nobody's moved it. There are “serious security protocols in place”. But there are more than 4,000 tonnes in Fort Knox. A tonne would be about the size of a medium to large suitcase. Did he see all 4,000 of them? The other big issue is the purity of the gold. What is there might not all be of good delivery quality, meaning it would not be readily accepted in international bullion markets. If much of the gold is the bullion Roosevelt confiscated in the 1930s, it will be in the form of “coinmelt”: melted down coins. The commonly confiscated coins, such as the $20 double eagle, were only 90% pure and mixed with copper to make them harder. When melted down, they were not always properly refined to modern standards, while the bars they were melted into weighed 320-330 ounces, not the 400 oz bars of good delivery standard today. In practice, this means Fort Knox gold would not be accepted without additional processing. But, until a proper audit takes place, this is all speculation, albeit reasoned speculation. We don't know the full facts. The reasons given for not conducting a full audit are flimsy: we don't need to, it would be too much of an undertaking. Please! If the US gold turns out not to be there, then the gold price goes up – potentially a lot. If it is there, it's business as usual. For now, I'd say the markets are behaving as though it is business as usual. They are climbing, and every dip is being bought, largely, it seems, by central banks (especially in Asia), who are diversifying their holdings and de-dollarising. But this audit cannot come quickly enough.Large volumes of physical gold - over 1,000 tonnes by some counts - have recently been transferred from London to New York. One theory is that was the gold was transferred in anticipation of tariffs. Another is that it was the US buying ahead of its audit. We will soon find out. Finally, I would just like to debunk one theory doing the rounds. US gold is currently marked to market at $42/oz. After the audit, those 8,133 tonnes – assuming they are there and of good delivery quality – could be marked to market at current prices, meaning a significant uplift in the value of holdings. The theory doing the rounds is that Treasury ecretary Bessent will use some of the upwards revaluation to monetise the balance sheet – not unlike how Roosevelt did in 1933 – to create funds for, among other things, the strategic bitcoin reserve. But Bessent has quite clearly stated that is not his intention. This article first appeared in Moneyweek Magazine. This is a public episode. American citizens are finding out that anyone who crosses the border can vote. Proof of citizenship not required. Is America fulfilling the very point that John Adams was making? International stocks are no different. However, they do introduce a few more moving parts, most of which stem from taxes you may owe in the country your stock originates from. For instance, the country where the stock is issued will likely retain a portion of your dividends for local taxes—some even charge a capital gains tax, much like the U.S. In this video, Andrew shares how to invest in stocks as a non-American. Andrew Henderson and the Nomad Capitalist team are the world's most sought-after experts on legal offshore tax strategies, investment immigration, and global citizenship. We work exclusively with seven- and eight-figure entrepreneurs and investors who want to "go where they're treated best". Work with Andrew: https://nomadcapitalist.com/apply/ Andrew has started offshore companies, opened dozens of offshore bank accounts, obtained multiple second passports, and purchased real estate on four continents. He has spent the last 12 years studying and personally implementing the Nomad Capitalist lifestyle. Our growing team of researchers, strategies, and implementers add to our ever-growing knowledge base of the best options available. In addition, we've spent years studying the behavior of hundreds of clients in order to help people get the results they want faster and with less effort. Brad and Dan begin by discussing the Senate Judiciary Committee's findings on how Trump sought to overturn the election by pressuring the DOJ. Dan relates these revelations to the concepts of populism and nationalism, showing how Trump used tactics used by populist leaders who take control of every aspect of government in order to take complete control of a nation. They then turn their attention to a brand new interview with the president of the Claremont Institute, the MAGA think-tank that helped produce the lawyer who outlined Trump's plan to decertify the electoral college votes. Brad and Dan discuss the view expressed in the interview (and an additional essay) that half of Americans aren't real Americans, the Founders framed the Constitution to work for an exclusively Christian nation, and that a civil war is on the horizon. They finish the episode by discussing how the Texas abortion bill may be the catalyst that finally turns the Lone Star state blue over the next decade. Learn more about your ad choices. VOTE! If there was one word to describe the importance of this episode, it would be to vote! In this episode I had the privilege of sitting down over FaceTime with one of my dear friends from across the pond, Leanne! Leanne is a performer, dancer, singer, actor, personal trainer and fitness professional and above all else - one of the hardest working and tenacious souls I have ever met! Originally from the Midlands in England and currently residing in London, we jumped right into the nitty-gritty of what our upcoming election means to her as a Non-American, how she has been dealing with the roller coaster that is 2020, her fitness and life aspirations, and her message to the American people to use their voices and their power to vote, because so much is on the line this year. It was important to me to get the perspective of an outsiders point of view when it comes to the deep divide we see in our American culture today. We discussed politics, we discuss the histories of racial unrest in England and the states, as well as her blossoming fitness career. You don't want to miss this episode with Leanne! Get to it! PRESIDENTS OBAMA AND TRUMP: SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES Let's start with Barack Obama. To begin with, he's not really an American. I don't mean to say he was born in Kenya. I don't believe that. I am referring to his life experiences. They are uniquely NON AMERICAN. He's got almost nothing in common with Americans of any stripe. He's biracial, identifies as black, but his life growing up has almost nothing in common with blacks Americans outside of his skin tone. Obama grew up as a "red diaper baby." That is, his parents were either communists or radical socialists. He lived in Hawaii and Indonesia for much of his formative years and when he lived in the continental United States, from age 11 to 18, he was mentored by Frank Marshall Davis. Davis was a man so dangerous, the FBI had him on a roundup list of Soviet sympathizing communist subversives. By contrast, Donald Trump grew up in an upper middle class Queens home of a New York real estate developer. From all accounts, Trump had a more or less typical childhood: brash, a bit rebellious, enough for his parents to place him in a military academy. Unlike Obama, Trump was not surrounded by anti-American radicals into adulthood. Ever since he was a public figure, Trump has always been an outspoken critic of the failures of government to live up to it most basic obligations. Prior to becoming President, Obama was also critical of government, but for other reasons. Obama believed government failed to assume enough obligations and thus spoke out strongly for a more activist government. In other words, Trump believed the government wasn't adequately fulfilling its obligations it has already assumed, whereas Obama wanted government to assume new obligations it has not yet taken. When assessing their capacity for sympathy or empathy, Obama was often far more inclined to display it for people who aren't Americans. He regularly blamed past and current policies of the United States for many of the world's problems. On those occasions when he demonstrated empathy for Americans, it often took on a divisive tone, as in "if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon", or "if you have a business, you didn't build that." Trump was not apologetic to foreign audiences for past or current policies. Rather, if he was apologetic at all, it was to Americans for the failure of political leadership that created those policies. Policies, which often, as in the case of trade agreements, took its toll on working and middle class employment and incomes. When speaking to foreign audiences, rather than apologize for American policy, Trump was bold. He acted as an advocate for America, reminding our allies in no uncertain terms what America was doing for them and whether those allies were living up to their obligations to us. This was such a radical departure from Obama and previous Presidents, it had to be jarring to other national leaders. The media elites are endlessly fascinated by both men in opposite ways. Obama's treatment was so mild, that the one news outlet which covered his Presidency with a note of skepticism, Fox News, was painted by the Obama Administration as "agenda driven" and "anti-Obama." But it's hard to argue that the media didn't have a virtual love affair with Obama and his Presidency. Both Obama's appeared regularly on entertainment programs and had one softball interview after another. Barack Obama was extremely sensitive to media criticism on those rare occasions he got it. Despite boasting of having the most "open and transparent administration in history", Obama hid more from the media than any President since the Founding. More FOIA requests were denied or delayed under Obama. More whistle blowers, leakers and journalists were surveiled or jailed under Obama. Maybe Obama was treated by the media with great deference, but he didn't return the favor. Still, in aggregate, the media adored him. The contrast with the media treatment of Donald Trump is painful. It is 180 degrees opposite of Obama's. Certainly Trump's behavior in office can fairly account for some of the difference. Trump is given to exaggeration, embellishment, misstatements and untruthful comments in the same way as is just about every other politician. For his entire public life, however, Trump has been known to speak in superlatives much in the manner of a pitch man. This is where the news media began to show its open disdain for Trump. When Trump was elected, the economy responded positively almost immediately. Obama and Clinton supporting economists such as Paul Krugman and Steven Rattner had predicted the economy would "crash and NEVER recover." The news media immediately leaped to credit Obama for the economic turnaround, despite failing to point out any policy accounting for it. What should have been obvious to any impartial observer was the country had just elected the most vociferously pro-business President in its history. Obama and his presumed successor, Clinton could never be characterized as pro-business. That anticipated change in direction is what accounts for the immediate turnaround in both markets and economic indicators. The problem was, the news media really took it on the chin with the Trump victory and were staggered by it. They lost face and continue to lose it because the videos of them dismissing Donald Trump as a potential President will live on forever. Since his election, the same media outlets who thought Trump's candidacy was a joke, are now treating his presidency as if it were a crime. Their treatment of Trump is driven as much by an attempt to recover a loss of reputation, as much as it is partisan politics. For, if the situation were reversed and Trump were the heavy favorite and Hillary Clinton won in a surprise, it's hard to imagine the media reacting to the win quite the way they have with Trump. Some in the Washington, D.C. media elites were perpetually perplexed and bewildered by Obama's behavior in office, judging him by a standard of governing set by his predecessors, which Obama clearly rejected. Obama sensed that a vast part of the media was willing to give him broad latitude. This enabled him to exceed his constitutional guardrails without consequence in the Congress and outside of Fox News, scarcely a whisper of protest. Obama overrode his authority with War Powers, bombing more countries than any President since the second world war. He rewrote black letter law on no less than 36 occasions with Obamacare. He exceeded his authority with the DACA EO and on many other occasions. All while doing this, especially during his first term, the media kept waiting for Obama to "track to the middle." He never did because he wasn't a centrist any more than Joe Stalin was a centrist compared to Leon Trotsky. Obama came to office promising change and he did it by growing government, making it more activist, more centralized, far more powerful over the lives of average Americans than ever before. Donald Trump also confounds the Washington elites, but in a different way. Obama was there to drive change by empowering the central planners in Washington. Trump was elected to do precisely the opposite: disrupt their power. From the very start, Trump sought to pull back the reins on the centralized Washington power structure. He sought to accomplish this by eliminating regulations. Regulations are how the permanent government, ie., the federal bureaucracies exert their control over our way of life. This is not to say that all regulations are bad or that we should live in a regulation free environment. To Trump's way of thinking, regulations are a last resort, not the first option. Obama and the central planners suffer from a fatal conceit: that regulations are ALWAYS needed and it's always better to err on the side of having more than less. The Obama approach to regulatory authority has led to bureaucratic abuses resulting in nearly two dozen unanimous Supreme Court decisions against the Obama Administration, striking down such abuses. Barack Obama and Donald Trump may be diametrical opposites on the political spectrum. Their treatment by the media may be as different as black from white. But they are similar in ways, as well. Both are change agents, but for very different visions of America. The Obama vision for America, is one of a very left socialist agenda. His idea of America would demand less individual liberty. Obama's view is that of radical egalitarianism where outcomes are determined by group identity. As a leftist, Obama sees Americans as a collection of tribes: in race: the white tribe, the black tribe, the asian tribe, the latino tribe, the native american tribe and on and on. This tribal view exists in all areas of life: economics, religion, and sexual orientation. Obama sees history as having created a preexisting condition advantaging a minority over a majority, necessitating government prescriptions to correct. The fact these prescriptions have been tried elsewhere and have failed miserably doesn't dissuade the committed leftist at all. That's Obama. The Trump vision for America is quite different. Trump rejects the division of Americans along tribal lines. He believes that most of the problems in the country today have been caused by policies that don't accomplish what they were ostensibly set out to do. In other words, government has made itself the problem. In Trump's view, the best thing government can do is to first get out of the way of the People. This is manifested through reducing taxes and regulations, renegotiating trade agreements, holding allies and foes accountable and securing the border. Trump seems to believe in America to a greater degree than Obama, who has been accused of believing in a managed decline of the United States. Trump believes if America leveraged all of our natural resources in the right way, the United States would remain the world's leading economy, technological and military power well into the forseeable future and beyond. There does seem to be much evidence proving him to be correct. What is the moral of the story here? Well, it's simple. Donald Trump REALLY DOES believe in America. He sees this country as the greatest and most unique country in all of human history. He is an American exceptionalist. Barack Obama, on the other hand, believes more in his ideology than he does in America. He doesn't hate America, but he doesn't love it either. He sees us as having a largely unearned reputation, with power, wealth and influence greater than we ought to have. Obama is a GLOBALIST. So, that is really what all this Trump bashing is all about. Much of the DC establishment is about the international Left pushing for a GLOBALIST agenda, that will look a great deal like the USSR or Communist China to the average person, should it ever happen.

FB Q: ” Webinar Q ” _ How do I find clients in my niche?…… and when a health coach is the furthest thing from their mind how do I get them to work with me so I can help them? ……”_ FB Q: ” Here  is how I answer each and every time I am personally asked: How do I find clients and avoid the ‘niche‘ restrictions I am  afraid will limit my business?: Take 3 Steps and Make 5 Connects There are 2 previous posts in this series: Build the WELLNESS Business You WANT 101: ATTAINING ‘top-notch‘ clients. Go to this post: Post 2: The KEY to Building the WELLNESS Business You WANT when starting out is NOT I repeat NOT taking on Clients for FREE! NOR is it taking on anyone you can get! It is to work with this ONE Client Type instead. For those of you who are actively using the information from the 2 previous posts and are: ~ using the new Approach on prospective clients you happen to meet and have ~ made room for implementing the 2 focused Business Steps ; from the 4 Client types post. This next question is one you will be happy someone submitted since it is most likely the same question you are now pondering…. I showed you above that FB has a form of this question posted multiple times a day. I personally receive it often too via the contact form. Here is an email I received from Pati Y asking: mo, can you please tell me; What do I do so ‘top-notch‘ clients can find me? Q: “Dear mo – With the guidance you gave all of us on the webinar, plus your other helpful resources I have swapped out my Approach. I am totally comfortable that I am attracting verses ‘getting’ interest from new people I meet.> I’d like to mention one added benefit you did not bring up and I wasn’t expecting but was a direct result of switching my APPROACH. The surprise benefit was: how I feel when I am in a situation of sharing with someone what I do. The APPROACH is totally amazing. Even with my own extended family members that have struggled with decisions around my lifestyle. What I do is starting to make sense to them. (not that they are interested but they are respecting my choices now;-).> Here is the thing- after using the new APPROACH a few times, I figured out _ I was actually a shrinking violet _ way more than I thought! It was because I was always trying to figure out a ‘smart’ opener or a ‘perfect’ response so I would be sure to make a good impression. What I noticed is I found myself dodging people to avoid messing up. This resulted in me feeling awful inside… like I was self-sabotaging my success.> Now I know exactly what to do and my real caring personality shines through using my focused CELL’f Care bio-individual process Approach. Feeling empowered by this I re-visited the 4 Client Types. I did the action step exercises you gave and it did show me just how much of my energy was zapped by the 3 crappy client types I had taken on. Knowing taking on everyone isn’t the way to Build the WELLNESS Business I WANT is a relief. Really it is a relief! It has helped shift my mind set from considering starting all over with another career to instead getting focused using your i-we.co foundation courses to BUILD the WELLNESS Business I WANT. I know I am writing alot but I want to add one more thing in case there are others struggling like me- When you outlined how the FREE client isn’t the pathway to Building the WELLNESS Business I WANT I was shocked! It was mind boggling because it is what I was told to do. Lucky for me you shared this! I took anyone on and for FREE! But no referrals or testimonials ;-/ I was getting no where  FAST _except burnt out _ and losing my confidence. Combine all that with learning from you that I was expecting the wrong outcome from the FREE client sessions that I actively sought out helped me to look realistically at what I WAS supposed to gain from those sessions. Lastly I have 1 word for: The 3 Confidence Killers Practitioners Make Course WOW! It helped me work out the MAJOR issues that were holding me back waaayyyy faster than working with a slew of clients would have ever done. ALL I can keep saying is: WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Thank you, thank you. All the things I was taught and thought were necessary as a ‘newbie’ debunked. I hunkered down. Did the work and my confidence has bloomed. Your shared experiences have moved me forward in my Business and Life because I am out of the: Feel great, feel beat up, verge of burn out- need to survive RALLY- repeat wellness practitioner loop. _ A loop I had not realized I was in until doing your exercises in the previous post. _ I honestly thought it was natural; having energy to work on my business and _ then crash _ and not want to go out and take on more clients. Rally myself again knowing I had to figure out a way to make money. I realized I only thought this pattern was natural because I commiserated with other new graduates all of us having the same spikes and crashes. Lesson learned! Just because it happens to ‘a lot’ of others doesn’t mean it has to be that way _ Implementing the tools you have shared brings on such clarity. Thank you. _ I am hopping off the ‘one-timer’ client gerbil wheel. Full of excitment, clarity and balanced energy to methodically Build the WELLNESS Business I WANT with ‘top-notch’ clients. Here is my Question I am hoping you can answer: What do I do to help ‘ top-notch ‘ clients find me? mo’s ANSWER: First thank you for your thoughtful email. I am glad you have reversed your plan and are NOT leaving the wellness field. So many desperately want wellness. YOU are needed! My goal for all the posts, seminar transcripts, courses you mentioned is to accomplish just that so I am glad it worked for you! Now you know you already have what it takes…. you just needed to know how to use it. I am sure this will inspire others so thank you. Now on to answering your PERFECT Question! My answer: Take 3 Steps and Make 5 Connects over and over and over again.  After doing the work you have done your question is a natural one. I wanted to  share how common by creating the screenshots I placed at the beginning of this post. My answer is the same for any wellness professional in the process of Building the WELLNESS Business They WANT: Take 3 Steps and M ake 5 Connects. Over and over. Get others you know to do it too! The more wellness professionals successfully focusing on bio-individual wellness the better it is for everyone. A community of wellness professionals Building the WELLNESS Business they WANT strengthens your bottom line! A large majority of my previous client base happen to be MD’s and Herbalists, Chinese acupuncture, PT’s, Yoga professionals, Nutritionists, Dentists…. As I shared the focused CELL’f Care bio-individual process they shared where they were frustrated and we often worked together helping clients move toward the WELLNESS they WANTED. We could not have worked together had we not been on the same page NOW let’s uncover the Take 3 Steps Make 5 Connects process to get you in front of potential ‘top-notch‘ clients because…. My daughter shared a story that I have been re-sharing with new WELLNESS Business professionals on webinars. Most recently, while speaking with a group of freshly graduated holistic nutritionists, the worries came up about what else they should consider getting certified in and how they could make the right ‘offering‘ enabling them to attract clients since they are new graduates and ‘inexperienced.’ How could they get clients to know everything they could offer them? What to do next so clients can find them? My answer: Take 3 Steps and Make 5 Connects over and over. When you consistently do this you will find out that: ‘you already have what it takes…… _          ……..you just needed to know how to use it’_ Here is a story my daughter shared: A guest speaker presented a ‘reality of finding work in the saturated job market’ informative speech based on his experience from school to the workforce. He suggested the upcoming graduates may want to ponder the fact that: “We all shift from the comfort zone of learning: when we are earning a degree or certificate: to being out there in the business world where we ultimately realize those 200 or 1,200 or 4,000 people I just graduated with are holding the same piece of paper. Not to mention all the other Schools and Universities.”… “..all these new graduates are out there offering the same knowledge to the pool of people or companies….” He closed with: ” _So what is going to makes me, or anybody for that matter, want to hire, contract, work with, YOU _?… you might want to get on that now!” According to her, it was pretty thought provoking at first for all those in attendance. And then it turned into a palpable sense of paralyzation , as in OMG what am I going to do!? In closing, they were given the task to come up with what makes them worthy of gaining a job, contract, client…. As I listened to her tell me about the presentation, I thought to myself he is 100% right. UNTIL; that is the part about taking on the task of being worthy. Of course, that task was paralyzing! NOT to mention impossible when starting a career. It also sends new professionals running amuck trying to get ‘experience’ here and there.  Creating a longer list than the other person does not equate worthiness, and you know what…. everyone else is lining up their lists too! So these lists will get longer and longer with no real experience benefits. As my daughter expressed fret over needing a variety of ‘things‘ now to make her worthy to be able to ‘stand out‘ I balked and said; _ “you already have what it takes;  you just need to know how to use it.” _ (Sound familiar?… I found myself saying that so much when beginning to work with wellness professionals that I finally realized it was time for i-we.co to exist. I want to show you how to use what you have now so you can develop into more.) I suggested to my daughter that we walk through this thought process in another way. _ A way that I know has made a difference in my Business. _ A process I knew my daughter could relate to because she has and is already using it. I shared this story during my Q&A with newly graduating Holistic Nutritionists because I felt the same sense of deer in headlights and panic. How would they now go out in the world and have clients find them? They wanted to know how to get business. I passed on the Take 3 Steps Make 5 Connects Process I used to them and have received feedback and thank you’s.  I would like to pass this process on to you as you begin Building the WELLNESS Business You WANT. Take 3 Steps Make 5 Connects to Help ‘top-notch‘ Clients Find YOU. It works. It builds on where you are right now. It never excludes a niche you may want to work with. It is focused and offers a lifetime of results. It helps you share what you have as a knowledge base now and is the fastest way to deeper learning as you work with ‘top-notch‘ clients helping them Identify Their HERE and Finding Thier POINT A. Let’s get some pictures going and explain how the Take 3 Steps Make 5 Connects Process applies to all of us and how it creates the opportunity; the growth in all aspects of our lives and paves the way for ‘top-notch‘ clients to find YOU! When you are new and want to create your first connection with a prospective client; be it a single person or business; take 2 minutes to make a call. I learned this from a client of mine who became a very close friend. Well respected in the business of finance; about eight years my senior; I asked her how she made it to where she was – as a single woman with three young children to care for without having a college degree one would think it was impossible! Her answer: “I pick up the phone and make a call. Once a week I schedule 1 hour of my time calling: people I have never met,…. people I know,…. people in my same field,….people in other fields.> It is typically a 2 minute connection that reaps immeasurable connections.”> She asked me “how did you end up at the military base offering the  program I took with you without being connected to the military? “ I said I loved working with kids, I knew, in general, single parents could rarely take an exercise class because babysitting alone was expensive. I knew I could combine the 2 so I picked up the phone and called the head of the Rec. department.  ” There you go! You made a 2 minute call they gave you the thumbs up. I brought my 3 kids there because it appealed to me. I brought my sister and her 3 kids the following week.  Your bio-individual attention and focused self care = CELL’f Care message appealed to me. You helped me find you by being where I was. I became your client because I met you and liked your bio-individual process message. I WOULD NOT HAVE responded to an ad. You helped me find you by placing yourself where I was. And the niche was totally different than working with kids! That was just 1 product you had. I a ‘top-notch‘ client found you. That only happened because you took the Step to make a 2-minute call.  Ultimately you, individually helping kids, even in a group helped many of us realize we wanted to be seen by you too! You went on to help me identify the true cause of my back pain; I then referred how many clients to you? So tell me, how much business did you gain from that 2 minute call? and exactly….> How many 2 minute calls have you made since then? > she knew by the look on my face that I never even thought about it and she went on to say….”take out your calendar- replace one of your crappy clients; just one; that you are helping for FREE. Schedule that exact date and time to make your first 2 minute calls- then go make a list of who you want to get in front of – On the date: at the time – call them. 2 minutes. We will meet after you try it. I guarantee the result of those calls will financially reward you way more than the FREE sessions you spend your time doing, preparing for, following up on!” So I did it. I made a 2-minute call every Thursday and can tell you that she was 100% correct I could never measure how much I gained because I still receive requests from the various places and people I made calls to- TO this day!… even though I am not taking on clients anymore. Now they call to see who I could refer them to. AND it is the exact same way I established myself when living in Europe! Lousy speaking skills of the language and all!  It worked! I began a dual language wellness program on a NON-American military base. YUP. If for no other reason I think they initially felt sorry for me as I tried to communicate. The point is the personal 2-minute connection is what made it happen. Let me give you just 1 example of how the 2-minute call worked for my Business. I picked up the phone and called a major hospital. I asked for a meeting with a woman in the department I was interested in sharing my expertise with. She was great. She listened and when I was done explained that although her hospital wouldn’t be able to use my services because if my programs actually did fix all the things I said it could her department would lose money… BUT she had a contact for me over at a NOT- FOR- PROFIT Hospital just a town over. I took down the contact information and put it in my calendar. It was great next Thursdays 2-minute call all set! I made the 2-minute call that following Thursday. It was comfortable because I was able to say so and so thought we’d be a good match -This was enough to set up our first meeting.  We met, she listened; liked what she heard and brought in another to listen and we closed our time together by exchanging pleasantries the ‘thank you very much’ and went our separate ways. Hmmm, I bemoaned to Sandee when we met. Nothing …. Ahhh, young one she teased. The 2-minute call works in its own way and time…..                          ……_ Keep making the 2-minute calls. _ And I did. Some reaped immediate invitations and presentations or work; others what I called ‘just a connection.’ Then I learned what Sandee meant because they weren’t ‘just a connection’: I hate to admit it; my inexperience of not being in business long enough; meant my interpretation of how effective the 2-minute calls were was short sighted. My impression was the 2-minute calls were _ semi-successful- randomly bringing in immediate work _ and then as time went on connections started to accumulate , they _ began to overlap _. I would have someone approach me at the end of a presentation and say so and so said the message was powerful; now I know what they mean. I honestly didn’t know your name but when you started speaking on Self-Care = to the sum of CELL’f Care I thought: this is her! Interactions like that produced relationships of all kinds all benefiting my bottom line. And then this happened: Three years after my first 2-minute call. Yes, three years later, I received a call. The woman that I was connected to; the one that was my 2nd 2-minute call, well she was now in a new hospital setting, and she _ never forgot that I called. And every time she heard my name or saw I was doing a presentation it rekindled and reaffirmed her desire to offer the WELLNESS approach I offered._ Finally; she explained; she was somewhere she could make it happen, and she was calling; asking; if I could come in and see if the brand new facility that was being built would be a good fit so I could consider a contract for my services. 20 years I contracted there. From one 2 minute phone call. People and businesses reaching out to me happened over and over with individual clients; satellite facilities; recreational facilities; training of overseas military; and spin-offs from all of these seemed to ‘happen’. I never; ever had a business card. The 2-minute call was my calling card. The 2-minute call slowly built momentum until it began to snowball and then I was able to hire PBS to produce videos of end user VHS and cassette tapes so others could do the teachings at the various facilities. I was hiring instructors to teach my programs at different locations. So I could be in more than one place at once. The dinosaur version of online classes This is just 1 example of how my 2-minute calls helped _ my ‘top-notch’ clients find me. _ This 1st Step; 1st Connect: Make a Call. – priceless! I’d like to point out: This post is a perfect example that, just like Sandee, it was not her spending more time: Getting more ducks in a row, More systems in place, More training. It was taking the step over and over again to make a connection through a 2- minute call. That is what helped her and then me with Phase 1: The ESTABLISHMENT PHASE of Building our Businesses. General Snobbery | Film and Philosophy

Your daily life is simple.  It is idealistic.  Your values are strong and your morals are sound.  There is no reason, you think, that you and everything you know should be wiped out in a matter of seconds.  Too fucking bad asshole.  You're going to die! UNLESS! Harry Stamper was just a blue-collar oil driller.  He was smart, damn good at his job, and absolutely hated liberals of every kind.  He had a rag-tag team of strong Duncans and smart Wilsons.  All he wanted in his life was to run his rig, care for his daughter, and push his conservative agenda.  Too fucking bad asshole.  You're going to save the world! Armageddon is a baffling film.  It is horribly written, way to long, and espouses a stringent form of conservative ideology that exists in the realm of nostalgia-worship.  When an asteroid the "size of Texas" is headed toward your home, you suddenly realize that the ways things used to be seem a lot more appealing than the ways they are going to be.  Catch our drift?  Michael Bay basically said earth represents conservative values and the asteroid represents liberal values. Sean and Matt attempt to drill to the core of this movie, a movie that has so much that can be said about it that it is almost impossible to say anything at all about it.  A true anomaly of a film. At the core of this film is not a nuclear bomb, it is Michael Bay.  Actually, Michael Bay basically is a nuclear bomb in that both cause destruction and their proliferations are a question of morality.  The Man-child, Michael Bay, becomes a strong point of discussion in this Snob.  As always, Sean and Matt consider his intention, maturity, and whether he has absorbed the person of Jerry Bruckheimer.  (It is quite possible Michael Bay keeps Jerry Bruckheimer in a cage in his Ford Mustang garage, only letting Jerry out occasionally to do movie promotions.  To reference a film with much deeper themes, Jerry Bruckheimer is basically Michael Baby's Manchurian Candidate). If there is a redeeming light in this particular Snob, it is the brief reference to our personal friend, Jake Busey.  Aside from that, another triumph is when Sean and Matt realize they never have to watch this shit-film (probably scheizefilmische) ever again.  The truth of Being Toward Explosion (Sein Zum Explosion (yes, the English and German are the same)), remains O so real! Non-American directors seek to highlight profound questions in their action movies whereas American directors seek to highlight their sweet space suits.  Strap in, fight your space dimentia, and load your mini gun. We got somethin' big coming up. Zero Barrier! Fuck you!

Estate planning becomes more difficult when an American has non-American heirs. Listen to this financial podcast to find out about the most useful tools for cross-border estate planning, which strategies may be available to you, and what you need to know if your heirs are not U.S. citizens. Financial and estate planning is difficult enough for individuals; imagine how much more challenging it is for countries planning their budgets. Governments also seek strategies to prevent future economic problems and market crashes. Geoff Mulgan, former director of the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unity and Chief Executive of NESTA (National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts) discusses whether democratic governments have made any changes in their planning since the market meltdown of 2008. What should have been done to improve existing financial systems, and was a useful opportunity for change lost? Follow Geoff Mulgan at www.nesta.org.uk/ and on Twitter @geoffmulgan.

Join us and our new vocally Non-American friend Lau as we embark on a discussion of Power Rangers' most Culturally Insensitive if not downright racist episode yet. We discuss the shows wildly misplaced ideas of homogonous "Asian-ness",  Honor as some kind of Far East Street Cred Currency, and how dang near everyone involved in the show, including the Japanese production company Toei and even Rita, an evil space witch not from earth, somehow manage to go off the racist deep end
