Here we go again! Trump announces his candidacy for 2024. The announcement isn't really the part that matters. We all expected it right around the time it actually happened. The important part is how the corporate media, and the establishment wings of the UniParty will likely treat this. And with the infighting that is sure to come within the Republican wing of the UniParty, Democrats hold one distinct advantage that Republicans can easily take away. But will they ever do it? Let's get a nuclear war update from parties of reason, and the neocons that will fight Russia down to the last Ukrainian. Police injustice and the lack of reform is a class issue. But the longer we make it a race issue, the longer we'll be dealing with it. Covid Amnesty: What's good for me; is NOT for thee! He shares the racism he experienced during this time serving as the first minority (Mexican) Police Chief of a racially divided community and how he was eventually bullied out of this position. We discuss the main form of police misconduct that he witnessed which was assault/unnecessary use of force and the racism he was up against in the community and in the police department. He shares the initiatives he took to improve the relationship the public has with police. How he created and implemented the No Colors No Labels Initiative designed to remove the preconceived notion that the Police were racially motivated. The world has exploded, and so has this podcast - not really, but we like to be dramatic; a bit like CrossFit's (now ex) CEO Greg Glassman. Hitting up his social feed with some pretty insensitive material - plus as the racial debate (odd saying that in 2020) continues, Ash and Matt are joined by a special guest Rash - a member of the Met Police service who joins the guys to tell of his experience in the police force as a black cop. Have a listen, join the chat - play nice and be safe. Much love, A&M xxxxx See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
