The strategically excellent 49ers managed to overturn a significant 17-point deficit to emerge victorious over the Lions, with a final score of 34-31, on what was a gripping Sunday night of football. At the conclusion of the match, as he faced post-game interview scrutiny, Purdy quickly shifted focus away from his own achievements, crediting the 'Lord Almighty.' 'First and foremost, I give thanks to God,' he expressed. 'We've been blessed with this opportunity.', Upon pulling off a staggering 17-point comeback to leverage his team into the Super Bowl, Purdy's feelings did not wane. 'Let's not forget to give credit where it is due. It is but by God's grace that we are gifted with this chance,' he reiterated. After a 63-7 blowout loss at Oklahoma St the Horned Frogs got past Kansas 31-28 at home as a 21 point favorite. Iowa St returns home after back to back road losses at Oklahoma and Texas Tech. They do have home wins by three to Oklahoma St and 23 to Texas. Quarterback Brock Purdy is completing 73.4% of his passes against the Big 12 with eight yards per pass attempt. Last home game on senior day is a special moment. TCU will sit Chandler Morris here. Max Duggan started against Kansas. In the Big 12 Texas Tech surrendering 38.8 points and 458 yards per game. Iowa St has won four of five in the Big 12 posing double digit wins to Texas and Kansas St in two of those victories. Cyclones trending well offensively in their past three conference games with 424 yards with 160 rushing for 4.8 yards per carry. Quarterback Brock Purdy completing 72.9% of his throws. He has averaged 8 yards per pass attempt in his past three Big 12 games. Play Iowa St -10.5.

The Texas Longhorns head into Ames, Iowa, hoping to snap both their three-game losing streak this season, as well as trying to avoid a three-game losing streak against the Iowa State Cyclones.
