What happens when a sitting U.S. Senator, who's also a former Navy SEAL, walks in and breaks down the Iran conflict with the kind of clarity you only get from someone who's lived the GWOT? Everybody's got a take on Iran. Almost nobody can explain it like this. The fellas — Comfortably Smug, Michael Duncan, and John Ashbrook — listen to Senator Tim Sheehy to lay it out: why this moment feels like the culmination of a fight that's been running for decades, why the “we're starting a war” framing doesn't match reality, and why the potential domestic ripple effects are concerning. In this episode… Sheehy's Iran breakdown: proxies, deterrence, “finish the job” logic. PLUS, DHS funding fight and what's at stake when the basics get politicized.Variety chaos: the kind of headline that makes you rewind to make sure you heard it right. The show swings to Ohio: the fellas sit down with Senator Jon Husted — a legit football guy with a national championship story — to talk the Ohio Senate race, how he pitches “grow the pie” economics, and why career and technical education is the part of the jobs debate that actually touches real families. Then we hit the rest of the mix: quick hits, clips, and the kind of cultural weirdness that only lands in this feed. Subscribe so you don't miss the next drop, follow us on social for the clipped moments, and hit the comments hard — we're stealing the funniest and the sharpest for the next round. We start with the fallout from the Texas Senate runoff and the growing battle between Ken Paxton and John Cornyn, as Donald Trump teases who he may endorse. On the international front, the situation with Iran continues to escalate. Pete Hegseth discusses the U.S. gaining control of Iranian airspace and reports that senior Iranian military leadership is struggling to communicate after recent strikes. Qatar's energy sector also raises alarms over possible global supply disruptions.Back in Washington, a fiery exchange between Karoline Leavitt and CNN's Caitlin Collins during a White House briefing goes viral after questions about fallen service members. Meanwhile, immigration enforcement policies take center stage as ICE detainers and public safety concerns are debated by Andy Biggs and Kristi Noem. The show also covers backlash surrounding Tim Walz, the Department of Justice shelving its autopen investigation, and Congress rejecting a proposal related to sexual harassment disclosure rules.Plus — a viral protest incident involving a former Marine supporting Palestine sparks a heated national debate.SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS TO SUPPORT OUR SHOW!Get smarter heart and joint support at https://Healthycell.com/CHICKS with code CHICKS20—no pile of pills needed.Switch to real eye care with Van Man. Why exactly did the Trump administration bomb Iran, and how will it affect the rest of politics? And what should happen to the powerful Massachusetts people who were chummy with Jeffrey Epstein after his 2008 conviction for sex trafficking? This week on Say More, Opinion Editor Jim Dao talks to Globe Opinion columnist Joan Vennochi and Ideas writer Abdallah Fayyad about whether age seems to matter in the Massachusetts Senate primary and who we should be mad at when our sidewalks fill up with snow. Starting the day off cloudy with a morning shower possible. A thunderstorm will roll into the area this afternoon with the possibility of flooding downpours, high winds and hail. There is also a possibility of an isolated tornado. The high will be 81. Those conditions will stick around into the evening with heavy rain, thunderstorm activity and damaging wind gusts possible. The overnight low will be 65. Sen. John Cornyn was leading the GOP field with Attorney General Ken Paxton close behind, but neither secured a majority, setting up a May rematch and weeks of renewed attacks. On the Democratic side, state Rep. James Talarico of Austin beat U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Dallas, after pushing rival strategies for a party shut out of statewide office for more than three decades. In other news, hundreds of voters were turned away from Dallas County polls Tuesday when they arrived at typically universal voting sites but were rerouted to their assigned polling place due to a switch prompted by the county Republican Party. For three decades, U.S. Sen. Susan Collins has counted on Maine's independent voters to send her to Washington, even as the state has trended more Democratic. This year, in a race that could determine control of the U.S. Senate, Democrats believe Trump's war on immigrants can give them a key advantage.

ICE is Tracking Protestors. Vance Tells Olympians To Shut Up. Chaos At El Paso Airport. Strikes In Mexico Next? Grand Jury Won't Indict Kelly & Co. With AG Pam Bondi testifying before Congress and shamefully defending Trump's Epstein connections and ICE's lawlessness, and a major US airport shut down potentially due to drones from Mexico invading Texas airspace, Paul Rieckhoff and independent veteran running for Senate in Nebraska Dan Osborn dive deep into the issues the establishment wants to ignore: the urgent demand for the full release of the Epstein files, the lack of accountability for ICE's "dark prisons" and domestic incursions, and the "surge pricing" of groceries that is crushing American families. From the FAA halting flights in El Paso due to cartel drones to the "un-American" politicization of the Olympics by JD Vance, this episode is a masterclass in staying vigilant against chaos, corruption, the super rich and demanding transparency from those in power Nebraska's independent surge is no longer just a "tip of the iceberg" story—it's the tip of the spear. Dan Osborn returns to the show to break down his statistically tied race against GOP incumbent Senator Pete Ricketts. As Ricketts spends millions to protect his seat, Osborn is fueling a "paycheck populism" movement powered by 25,000 individual donors and a refusal to take corporate PAC money. This is the ultimate David vs. Goliath battle in the heart of the country, and the stakes for the Senate have never been higher. This is perhaps the most important Senate race in the country—because it's more than about Nebraska—it's the people vs the ultra-rich, partisan and powerful.
