If you have been wondering about NFTs, how you can get involved, and what they can do for your business, or even if you are totally new to this, this episode is mind-blowing. In this interview with one of my favorite people ever, Stacey Murphy, we talk all about this insane new technology and what it's all about. Stacey is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, author, speaker, imaginative thinker, and founder of Rainbow Spiderwebs.Zone of GeniusStacey's zone of genius is just amazing, she has the unique power of believing in YOU. She describes this talent as being able to see people's true desires and visions, think imaginatively about them, and envision them to be carried out in prosperity and abundance. Stacey came from a childhood that really required her to dig deep in believing in herself, making way for her gift to the world. Where are Stacey's Curiosities? This question, which I love to ask my guests, actually came from Stacey herself. Stacey's heart is really in a place of caring for and valuing our planet. Right now, she is asking some pretty profound and interesting questions:  How can we harmonize technology and nature? How do we use emerging technology, specifically blockchain, with natural elements?NFTs and Blockchain TechnologyAn NFT does not stand for “New Fantastical technology” as Stacey so lovingly says but instead it is a Non Fungible Token. This means something that is unique, scarce, and cannot be exchanged once for one with anything on the planet. NFTs are symbols of the shift to a creator economy. Artists will create a painting, for example, they can put it on the Blockchain and sell it and continuously receive a royalty on every sale thereafter, unlike in physical reality where they would only benefit from the initial sale. The Blockchain creates a ledger where you can view the history of any sale of an NFT. Sales of NFT on the blockchain must be purchased with crypto via a digital wallet. Stacey MurphyStacey and I discuss our experiences with NFTs, some unique projects that are making big impacts, and even NFT ideas for Crystal Uncorked. You can find out more about her at her personal website, as well as via Rainbow Spiderwebs. What do business owners and circus performers have in common? This may seem like a really silly question, but I had the unique experience participating in Circus for Entrepreneurs, a leadership training created by my friend Stacey Murphy. I spent a day at the San Diego Circus Center, practicing real circus acts with real circus professionals while reflecting on my business. What's in a name?At the beginning of the day, we were asked to create a power word. This power word we would wear on our shirt, and it would be our name for the rest of the day. The challenge behind this word was to identify a word or phrase that embodied who you wanted to be. I chose: Risk-Taker. Some might say I take risks but it's truly relative to what you're comparing to. For me, I feel like I really value comfort and tend to play it safe and stay comfortable in my business and I would like to take more risks. So "Risk-Taker" became my name of the day, and it really impacted my thoughts and how I approached each activity.Let's Get Down to CircusThe day revolved around three stations, the silks, the clown, and the trampoline. As we worked through each station, I was really inside my head. For the silks and the trampoline, I had these ideas of grandeur. I love to perform, I love all eyes on me and I really saw myself performing like a circus professional and everyone is so amazed. This was not the case. I really learned that as I compared myself to others, it really affected what I was actually able to do. Comparing myself in business has become a habit, and this has made me more aware of these comparisons. They are not fair, to me and to the other people. We have different skill sets and that is great.Working with the clown was a really interesting experience. I may be the only one, but I have always wondered what clowns look like under all the makeup and costumes. Turns out, they might be cute. In this lesson in body language from a plain-clothes clown, I learned my face truly shows my judgment and curiosities. This is something I never expected to get from working with a clown.Business Reflection with a TwistAfter each station, we had the opportunity to reflect, journal, and discuss the connections we made. They had some really great questions that I think would be great for anyone in business to provide a fresh perspective. How do you make visible your power word? What do you tell yourself when you nail it and when you don't?What are you doing to amuse and delight your clients? How can I have more fun in my marketing and sales? What happens when you get really high? What stories do you tell yourself about how easy or hard you are working?Where is the hang time in your business? That space where one action has the greatest leverage? This training was so interesting and unique, I can't wait to try their next one! If you'd like to learn more, you can check out Circus for Entrepreneurs online and sign up for more information and notifications on their next training. What's Inside:My experience at a unique training course, Circus for Entrepreneurs.Questions for reflection on your business from the perspective of a circus performer.Expectations rarely match reality, and that's okay. How comparison can really hurt your potential. What can business owners or entrepreneurs learn from the circus?Mentioned In This Episode:Circus for EntpreneursOur Dreamville Label — Akash WineryCrystal MediaCrystal on InstagramCrystal on TikTok

Marni speaks with an expert in love and intimacy who is known as the queen of juicy love. Stacey Murphy is a recovering perfectionist who helps professional women get out of the competitive self and integrate love, sex, and money into a powerful cocktail.   Key takeaways from this episode:    Top 3 reasons relationships fail How dating and relationships can be fun Feminine and masculine dynamics Nature versus nurture Top 3 Reasons Relationships Fail [2:01]   Both men and women have masculine and feminine energies. As women, it is in our nature to lean more into our feminine and for males to lean more into their masculine. Modern society has conditioned and programmed many women to lean into their masculine in order to further their career aspirations.   Expert, Stacey Murphy says these three things are the top reasons relationships fail:    Incompatibility — People not understanding their true nature or the nature of other people when entering a relationship.    Money — Many people go into a relationship with existing money issues.    Sex — People can be closed off sexually, have a fetish, or are afraid of being truly seen.    When we get hunkered down into only seeing things the way we see them and neither partner wants to budge, but we still want to be in a relationship with our partner it can cause incompatibility. To overcome this, Stacey recommends trying to understand the other person's nature versus their nurture.   The need to be right. It can prevent us from hearing the truth. When we come from a place of unhealed wounds, we can be anchored in our beliefs but it may not be our true nature.    As a woman are you in your feminine power, or your nature? Are you reacting to your conditioning, programming, or environment? Or, are you in your true nature?              Lead with Your Strengths [17:21]   It may be a generalization, but men view money as a stepping stone to get them to the next part or phase of life. Men gamble with money more, they invest it differently and they have a different attitude about the role money plays in their life.    Many women view money from the viewpoint of safety and security. They want to hold on to it. Stacey advises women not to hoard their money or hold on to it because the scarcity mentality can cause strife in a relationship.    Professional women, earn whatever you want to earn just be careful not to emasculate your partner if you earn more money. Because it can torpedo your relationship toward incompatibility and money issues.    Relationships are about collaboration, not competition.    The 4 Pillars of Love [17:21]   Stacey explains how the four pillars of love connect to the man code formula and the secret to understanding men. And, how women can match themselves to a man.    The four pillars of love are:   Mental Emotional Physical Sexual   Just like the four legs of a chair, the ‘legs' of a relationship can be a little off-balance or off-kilter,  but if one leg is broken the chair or relationship will fall.    Make a Connection: Visit Our Website Join Our Dating Den Facebook Community Here! Should political affiliation be a dating deal-breaker? Should you only date within your own party? Are couples who differ politically doomed? What is the secret to making it work?Certified Intimacy Coach // author of The Secrets to Get the Guy and Keep the GuyIt's no secret that political tensions in America are at an all-time high these days, and with the election fast approaching, those sharp political divisions seem to be present in just about every aspect of our lives, including our love lives. While dating apps tend to see an increase in activity during an election year - according to industry pro Adam Cohen Aslatei, who tells InsideHook his dating app S'More has seen a 20-percent increase in user activity as November approaches - a recent Pew Research survey reveals many single Americans looking for love this election year may be less inclined than ever to consider swiping right on someone from the opposing political party. According to the survey, 43 percent of Democrats said they'd be unlikely to consider dating a Republican, while 24 percent of Republicans said they'd pass on a relationship with a Dem. Those numbers shot up on both ends of the political spectrum when it came to voting history - specifically, who prospective daters voted for in 2016. About seven-in-ten left-leaning voters said they probably or definitely wouldn't consider dating someone who voted for Donald Trump, while 47 percent of Trumpers said the same about those who voted for Hilary Clinton. None of this is exactly surprising given the "partisan antipathy seen in the overall public," as the Pew report put it. However, as the political divide continues to shrink the dating pool, a new catfishing trend seems to be on the rise among Trumpers and other right-wing daters who aren't afraid to sell out their political beliefs for a shot at a hookup. Dubbed "wokefishing" by Serena Smith for Vice, the sneaky new trend involves daters with less-than-progressive views pretending to align with more left-leaning beliefs in an attempt to score more matches on dating apps.

When I asked the members of my free Facebook group, the Beginner's Garden Shortcut, what questions they had about their fall vegetable garden, I received more feedback than almost any other topic. Clearly, many beginning gardeners are interested in fall gardening. But they recognize it's not as straightforward as the spring or summer garden. For the beginner, fall gardening isn't as simple to get started. But, it is generally easier than the summer garden. With fewer pests and weeds, we get to enjoy gardening in cooler days and eat crops that don't grow well in the heat of the summer. Because getting started with planting the fall vegetable garden takes a bit of understanding of this unique garden season, Stacey Murphey of Grow Your Own Vegetables tackles some of the most common fall gardening questions I hear.

When many beginning gardeners think about fall gardening, they find themselves overwhelmed. After all, they're tired from the effort put into the summer garden, and the thought of more work seems exhausting. Plus, they don't know when or how to get started. The truth is, fall gardening can be the most rewarding time to grow a vegetable garden. It just takes a bit of know-how to get started. In this week's episode of the Beginner's Garden Podcast, master gardener and garden teacher Stacey Murphy of Grow Your Own Vegetables talks beginners through how to get started planting and growing their fall gardens. Selling in a Skirt with Judy Hoberman with her guest Stacey Murphy & Jeanette Chasworth: Stacey Murphy - As a student of the Science of Mind, in my own quest to manifest a conscious relationship, I saw there were many women, fellow Goddesses, who were hungry to experience more intimacy and sensual joy. But they felt captive by their own thoughts and the stereotypical burdens society places on us Goddesses who choose to embrace their sensual voice. So I embarked on my Tantric journey in 2007 to heal this aspect of myself and became a Level 2 Initiate in Ipsalu Tantra. To help fund my sensual endeavor, I started selling romance enhancement products at home parties and quickly learned women were hungry for information on how to transform and heal the lack of intimacy and fulfillment in their lives. Selling product became secondary and erotic education was my primary focus. Yet another quest began in 2008, where I received my Master Sex Expert Certification from Loveology University in 2011. Jeanette Chasworth, “The Color Whisperer,” believes in the transformational power of design and color. Jeanette draws inspiration from the homeowners' lifestyle, taste and experiences and also attunes herself to the house itself. This unique combination creates individualized design from a soulful place that brings out the best visually, for her clients and their environment. Her clients often describe their newly designed space as a visual expression of their personality. There is a sense of peace and comfort created by colors and textures that now harmonize with the energy of the client—and with their home. As a result, Jeanette's portfolio illustrates great diversity in design. Her philosophy is unbounded by a particular style – her inspiration drawn from the desires that houses may ‘whisper in her ear'.
