JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING PODCAST WHICH DROPS MAY 30 @https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speakingThis podcast explores how the recent history between the May 17 Sun/Uranus conjunction & the May 24 Mercury/Uranus conjunction in Taurus, & the May 29/30 superior conjunction of the Sun with Mercury direct in Gemini have awakened us through unexpected sudden revelations--of the “I can see clearly now” kind--between then and now.Awakened us to what? Well, when we look at the symbolism--from the announcement on May 18 of former president Joe Biden's stage 4 prostate cancer to May 22's U.S. House passage of its “friendly to the rich” budget reconciliation bill & May 24's yet again flip flop on tariffs by President Trump—we start to see a pattern. And that pattern, combined with announcements made between May 28-30--including a court ruling banning Trump's on-again-off-again tariffs followed by a swift reversal of that ruling, along with the announcement of pardons for convicted individuals who have donated bigly to Trump--starts to smell like something's rotten in Denmark. What we may have missed the first two Sun & Mercury conjunctions to Uranus in Taurus, that's inherent now in this latest Sun/Mercury get together in Gemini, is the sleight of hand deceit and deception that's been going on all along. This clearly correlate Gemini's archetypal role & reputation as the trickster, who uses more devious ways to fool those around him. What's different now, however, is the fact that deceit usually takes place behind the scenes. But when we equate Biden's sudden announcement on May 18 with the symbolic nature of the currently ongoing U.S. Pluto return, we glean from the symbolism that something that's been hidden for a long time has now become obvious. Since the prostate is archetypally aligned with Pluto's Scorpio, & Biden's illness was reportedly long in the making but unknown to his doctors, this sudden revelation symbolizes how the U.S. has likewise been rotting from the inside out for quite some time & we simply never noticed. Now, however, all of these recent Sun, Mercury, & Uranus aspects in the sky have alerted us to the fact that this current president's grift-- now so commonplace, so boldly out in the open--is so easily accepted by those who could/should call it out for what it is. As the rest of us begin to understand with greater clarity that the emperor truly has NO clothes, we likewise recognize those who benefit from both his grift & his delusions. So, as we wax into this month's first quarter “crisis in action” lunar square of the Virgo Moon to the Gemini Sun on June 2--accompanied by June 1's Venus/Chiron/Eris conjunction in Aries—we now see the tension between verifiable Virgoan facts & Geminian casual passage of non-verified information. And how much of the latter was behind such “you can't have possibly missed it” glaringly obvious financial transactions by now.Venus moves into its own sign of Taurus June 5/6, depending on your time zone, while Mercury conjoins Jupiter in Gemini June 8. Shortly after, Mercury will enter the Moon-ruled sign of Cancer June 8, & Jupiter follows suit on June 9. Our emotional sensitivity heightened, we then may begin to expand our intuitive capabilities to see beyond our more boundaried local scenario into wider, longer-term implications for the future.Join us for this Astro News You Can Use & more @https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking dropping May 30 as we look ahead also at the upcoming waxing first quarter square of Mars to Uranus & Jupiter to Saturn on June 15, & as we approach the big military presidential birthday bash on June 14. The question is whether there will be some sudden shocks or surprises, given the addition of another Uranus aspect forming, this time with potentially explosive or violent Mars…tune in to find out more!See you then, namaste…
JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING PODCAST WHICH DROPS MAY 23 @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking This week's podcast begins with a look at the chart of former president Joe Biden since his shocking prostate cancer diagnosis was announced May 18, just after the exact Sun/Uranus conjunction in Taurus on May 17. We take a deep dive into his horoscope, starting with his Progressed Lunar New Moon @ 1'30 Aquarius on May 5, 2019, through to the previous & current opposition to his 12th House Scorpio Sun by Uranus in Taurus as it transits his 6th House of health. We posit that Biden's journey from winning the presidency in 2020 & helping restore America to full health during the Covid-19 pandemic, to his current announcement of metastasized cancer, symbolizes the current “ill health” of the U.S. In other words, that Biden's sudden shocking announcement of previously unknown cancer is awakening Americans to the same "weakening" as part of the trajectory occurring within their nation. How do we know this? Because we're under the auspices now of the current Pluto return triggered essentially since the January 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol, which occurred a year before its exact return in February 2022. An insurrection incited & caused by sore loser Donald Trump in the November 3, 2020, presidential election based on false claims of election fraud—just as we approached the new Jupiter/Saturn synodic cycle on December 31, 2020, at 0'30” AQ which foretold a change in leadership. We look at how the Pluto return is annihilating the former legal rights of individuals here in conjunction with the current transiting Jupiter square to the transiting nodal axis, particularly to the Virgo South Node. And how the Mercury-ruled Virgo archetype affects our health as related to the recently passed reconciliation bill in the U.S. House of Representative which seeks “perfection” through numbers to balance the budget, yet attempts to do so by denying average citizens their previous right to government-funded health care. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, as the House bill now goes to the Senate as we approach Saturn's entrance into Mars-ruled Aries on May 24 & the Gemini New Moon & Chiron/Eris conjunction in Aries on May 26. Whether the Senate discusses reducing the health burden the House placed on individuals to pay more to take care of their health needs or not remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: The Saturn ingress into Mars--as Saturn begins his slow journey toward an exact conjunction to Neptune in Aries on February 26, 2026--we have the opportunity to awaken to the amount of wounding & chaos already caused under the guise of “fiscal responsibility.” This hypocritical claim by the U.S. Congress persists despite the fact that the current legislation wants to extend tax cuts for corporations and the rich at the expense of those in the lower income brackets to the tune of increasing our national debt by $3.8 Trillion over the next decade. That this has weakened our previous alliances & global partnerships—part and parcel of the waxing Saturn/Pluto 36-year cycle in Capricorn begun on January 12, 2020--becomes obvious as we're also still under the auspices of the currently waxing Jupiter/Saturn cycle in Aquarius begun December 31, 2020.We look at the prescient words of renowned astrologer Stephen Arroyo written in 1984 about the meaning of the change from 200 years of Jupiter/Saturn cycles in earth to air, the latter of which began in 1980 in Libra. Join us to learn more about what this “grand mutation” has meant between then & now, despite the 2000 conjunction in earth again & its return to the air element for the long term in 2020. (Hint: It concerns the “reestablishment of old-style capitalism,” & the redistribution of wealth from the poorest to the richest.) Now, as we approach Saturn's entrance into Aries, we might look at the bright side of this otherwise potentially frustrating & depressing combination of archetypal energies. On the one hand, we have the potential for an increasingly slow reduction of our rights to free speech (& more), & the resulting depression that can set in when we think we have no recourse but to bury the frustration of being told to shut up and take it.However, on the other hand, we can use this transit to devise carefully thought out long-term plans to regain our rights. Saturn in Mars-ruled Aries can slow the warrior's roll just enough to avoid impatient or impetuous moves & to direct our energies toward succeeding through hard work. The 6'06” Gemini New Moon, at 8:02 p.m. PT & 11:02 p.m. ET on May 26, can help us plant seeds to gain new perspectives by listening to the facts. Since Gemini likes to collect & pass information, but not to analyze it for conclusions, we can use our mental adaptability to consider alternative viewpoints now about what's causing our current state of chaos and how it's wounded us. The Gemini archetype is related to tactics. However, it's Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius, its archetypal opposite energy, that plans overall strategy. So, in the short term now, we can begin to discuss how to plan to regain our rights in the future, courtesy of Saturn's entrance into Mars. The upcoming Sun/Mercury conjunction in Gemini, occurring late on May 29/early May 30, depending on your time zone, may reveal more information from on high in the form of a major announcement of some kind. And this, in turn, may further awaken us to how much the recent discord & chaos has wounded us--via wounded healer Chiron's conjunction to dwarf planet Eris in Aries-- & how we've seemingly been stymied over the past few months by chaos-induced inertia. Tune in for a deep discussion on all of this--& more Astro News You Can Use--starting today, May 23!@ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking See you then! Namaste…
Astrology forecast for May 17-24Chris and Almie talk about Saturn returning to the sign of Aries for the first time since 1999. They also discuss what we can expect in the days leading up to this big shift as Saturn makes its way through the 29th degree of Pisces.Chris and Almie wish everyone a very happy Gemini Season. The Sun will enter the sign of the twins on Tuesday, May 20th and it will remain in Gemini until June 20th. While the Sun is in Gemini we can expect our minds to become more inquisitive, more curious. We can also expect things to become more flexible and changeable. And they also go over the Sun-Uranus conjunction that's exact Saturday, May 17th in the sign of Taurus. This conjunction could bring some electricity and heightened energy to the weekend, as well as a surprise or two. We could find ourselves feeling restless and rebellious and wanting to break free from our usual routines. In “Ask a Scorpio,” Chris asks Almie what her favorite kind of bagel is, and also challenges her to a trivia game where she needs to guess the names of celebrities who were born when the Sun and Uranus were conjunct.
JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING PODCAST WHICH DROPS MAY 16 @https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking It seems clear now in hindsight that the May 12 Scorpio Full Moon asked us--& asks us still in the waning portion of this month's lunar cycle--to release any attachment to making sudden changes in, or reversals of, long held, deeply felt values. In essence, the May 12 lunation served as a warning that a sudden change in values may not serve the overall evolutionary process--which understands that things cannot remain the same forever but also that change must occur slowly because that is how the evolutionary process works. Ergo, we need to release our tendency to decide to suddenly do an about face vis-a-vis our long held traditional values. This becomes even clearer when we remember two things: That Pluto is now transiting through the Uranus-ruled sign of Aquarius, denoting that evolutionary change over the long term is necessary & that it may be led by the eventual progressive empowerment of groups; & that the U.S. is undergoing still its Pluto return which began in February 2022.The Taurus Sun normally does not like change. It likes its creature comforts & finds security in its resources, including land, money, and its physical body & possessions. In short, Taurus is reluctant to change what it deems pleasurable. And what's pleasurable is what Taurus values. However, when the Taurus Sun exact conjoins sudden change maker Uranus on May 17—particularly in stubborn change resistant Taurus—the Uranian principle that the longer change has been resisted the more sudden & shocking it will seem when it inevitably occurs becomes prevalent. In addition, Uranus, which rules Aquarius, tends to bring us sudden—sometimes shocking & often unexpected—revelations with lightning speed that provide us stark clarity. That's why astrologers often refer to Uranus as the “great awakener.”The Sun also represents the leader in mundane astrology. And, what's changing rapidly now is related to his or her personal values, rather than those of the collective (read: the people.) Given that Neptune's now in Aries, we are seeing an awakening, or new birth if you will, of the need for freedom of choice within the greater collective, especially in America. And this has presented us with a dilemma in terms of this nation's long held values around equality & freedom from tyranny. The current U.S. Pluto return, in effect for several years ahead still, denotes that adaptation will be necessary in order to avoid total extinction of the democratic process here. This podcast takes a deep dive into the sudden, recently attempted changes to both the 236 year-old U.S. Constitution & its long held & accepted legal premise around issues such as habeas corpus & the right to due process, the emoluments clause, birthright citizenship, and more. While it's true that the U.S. Constitution is in need of a modern-day upgrade, sudden change is not the way. That's because we don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater in terms of its basic principles such as that “all men are created equal,” and that the U.S. Government is one “of the people, by the people, for the people.”What will be necessary in the years to come, under the tutelage of Pluto in Aquarius, will be an update to the meaning of these words. “All men,” for example should not mean only White male Christian aristocratic landowners or corporate robber barons. It must extend its humanitarian Aquarian nature into a more collectively Neptunian sense that ALL humans deserve equal rights—including minorities, women, immigrants, LGBTQ+, etc.--& that corporations & billionaires must not tyrannically control the masses. These are the immediate issues to ponder as transiting Jupiter in Gemini forms a square to the transiting Virgo South Node & Pisces North Node, which urges us to move away from trying to control every aspect of our environment & toward relaxing into a more empathic, inclusive one. This is especially true right now in terms of Jupiter-related archetypes: law, immigration, higher education, religion, & a free press (read: freedom of speech.) As we move toward the third quarter monthly “crisis in consciousness” lunar square of the Aquarius Moon to the Taurus Sun on May 20, the tension between groups of people and a stubborn pleasure-loving executive may become even more palpable. Perhaps objections by the people to our president accepting a $400 million “palace in the sky” jet from Qatar IS a violation of the American Constitution & a step too far, eh?When the Sun enters Gemini later that day, perhaps there will be an about face, as Gemini can be fickle. And, since America's current president's natal Sun/Uranus conjunction in Gemini has proven to be part of how American policy is decided at this point, a change of mind is always possible. If nothing else, the Gemini archetype is good at both being mentally adaptable as well as adept at making an about face.Next week's Mercury/Uranus conjunction in Taurus may well lead to an unexpected announcement of some kind by May 23, especially since Mercury enters its own sign of Gemini May 25. Perhaps more deals will be made & announced, who knows? We already have a lot of that going on, including the possibility of some kind of move toward a resolution of the war by Russia against Ukraine based on current discussions between the two now.Meanwhile, there's lots to say about Saturn's upcoming entrance into Mars-ruled Aries on November 24, too, so be sure to tune into https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking starting today May 16, & catch up on all the latest Astro News You Can Use! Gahhhh... Im so happy to be back in your ears after 2 weeks off & in no better time than on the day of the Moon as I unpack this Hades full Moon that's building! Aka-Moon in Scorpio! It's a huge week full of intensity, unexpected revelations & karmic unhooking. We have Jupiter at the bending (square the nodes of fate), Venus coming out of her Rx shadow, the final Sun/Uranus hit in Taurus for over 80 years, the Medusa star being activated plus of course the Scorpio Full Moon! It's crunchy! I share all of this plus more! Enjoy darlings XO
Tomorrow's Scorpio Full Moon gives us a big push forward. Peak fullness happens at 9:56 AM PT / 12:56 PM ET on Monday, but the moon's energy is at its strongest on Sunday night. This “Flower Moon” will appear slightly smaller than usual—it's a micromoon, meaning the Moon is at one of its farthest points from Earth in its orbit. Full Moons naturally bring things to light, and in intense Scorpio, that spotlight focuses on transformation. Use this potent energy to clear out what's holding you back. Try writing down old patterns, relationships, or scarcity thinking you're ready to shed—and burn the paper to send that energy back to the ethers. Or lean into Scorpio's water element with a Salt Bath: soak in Epsom, sea, or Himalayan salt and imagine it pulling out stuck energy, then watch it swirl away as you drain the tub. Adding to the mix is Uranus in Taurus, the planet of sudden change and upheaval, sitting opposite this Full Moon. Expect unexpected twists—big wins or impulsive decisions, emotional flare-ups or breakthroughs. The lesson? Let go of the illusion of control, trust the unfolding mystery, and practice rolling with whatever comes your way. On top of that, we have a rare Boomerang Yod—Jupiter in Gemini and Chiron in Aries both quincunx to the Moon, with the Sun/Uranus opposition acting as a release valve. This “Finger of God” points us toward a karmic crossroads where fated opportunities and radical clarity emerge. Plus, the Sun-Uranus conjunction in Taurus (the last one for 80 years!) amplifies our urge to break routines and try something new. This week, embrace the changes: experiment, explore, and be the new you. Learn more and purchase the Summer Pass at https://www.abundology.com/summer-pass
We begin by discussing all the ASTRO NEWS YOU CAN USE from this past week, how it's played out, & what's on the horizon as we make our way through this month's lunar cycle which began with the Taurus New Moon square to the Mars/Pluto opposition on April 27.Since Venus's entrance into Aries April 30 (until June 6), we've seen some “let them eat cake” resistance to consumer prices heating up due to pending tariff wars begun by the U.S. Government. And the Venus/Neptune conjunction in Aries May 2 illustrated a likewise laissez faire attitude toward the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment by President Donald Trump who, when asked on Meet The Press if he agreed “that citizens and noncitizens in the United States were entitled to due process,” was less than comforting.“I don't know,” Mr. Trump replied. “I'm not, I'm not a lawyer. I don't know.” This as we waxed toward the first quarter monthly lunar “crisis in action” square of the Leo Moon to the Taurus Sun May 4, illustrating the vague nonchalance yet recalcitrance of a stubborn leader (Taurus Sun) to take responsibility for the due process rights of individuals (Leo Moon) under U.S. law. Keep in mind that our short-term monthly mission since April 27's Taurus New Moon has been to plant seeds that reflect our more present-day values--as opposed to old, outdated, no longer applicable ones, like say, that trickle-down economics is the way to go, lol. Or, that corporate & billionaire money & power are more important than individual peoples' health & well-being. You know, stuff like that… However, the major point of this month's lunation is that once we discover (or rediscover) our soul's true, lasting values, we may have to fight for them, as per the Mars opposite Pluto signature at the Taurus New Moon.Meanwhile Pluto's station retrograde on May 4 (until October 14) provides us all the perfect opportunity to dig deeply into our psyches to better discover our soul's true, lasting values. In doing so, we discover our shadow sides and bring them out into the light to be forever vanquished. The end result is that of greater personal empowerment, yeah!We look too at the upcoming entrance of Mercury into Taurus on May 10, & the already anticipated slowdown of both travel & trade. Ports on the West Coast are already reporting fewer ships docking there from places like China, a redux of the pandemic era's import shortages from only a few short years ago. Likewise, tourism to America and spending on travel within America, is down and forecast to stay that way for the foreseeable future. As we wax toward the May 12 Scorpio Full Moon which conjoins Juno, the archetypal symbol of partnership, & opposes the Taurus Sun, Uranus, & goddess of health Hygeia, we've already seen a few surprising firsts. On April 8—after a surprisingly quick conclave in Rome that lasted less than two full days—the first American-born Pope was chosen to lead the world's 1.4 billion Catholics. In addition to being the first American to become pope, Pope Leo XIV is also the first member of the Augustinian Order, a Catholic religious order founded in 1244. He attended St. Augustine Seminary near Holland, Michigan, and spent much of his career as a missionary in Peru.“Peace be with you,” Pope Leo XIV greeted his new followers, & we await to see if this is, indeed, going to be true, as he will be tasked with confronting difficult decisions about the church's direction, including the issue of greater inclusion. In addition, the inclusion of Hygeia in this lunar equation, partnered with Uranus in the sign of the physical body (read: Taurus) may signal a rapid change in the world's health situation. Think of the starving children in Gaza (& other places deprived of food & medical care due to war and the now defunct services from USAID), & how U.S. farmers' crops rot in silos due to increased tariffs on importing nations. Then there's the fact that Mercury square Pluto at this lunation brings a measure of obsessiveness to the U.S. House of Representatives' struggle still to come up with a governmental budget reconciliation bill by Memorial Day that doesn't throw 77 million people off of Medicaid—especially in GOP districts. And that's just so corporate billionaires can reduce their taxes under a proposed extension of President Trump's 2017 corporate tax reduction due to expire by end 2025. And that's not even mentioning financial cuts already made to Veteran's benefits & potential cuts to Medicare, Social Security, etc., & the loss of medical benefits of laid off or fired federal workers under unelected billionaire Elon Musk's DOGE. We discuss the sticking point of state & local tax caps (read: reducing family's tax deductions) bandied about in the House now, too…There's also the implications of transiting Jupiter in Gemini's pending mutable square to the transiting Virgo South Node & Pisces North Node as all things Jupiter-related have made their way into the news recently. Law, higher education, foreign travel (read: immigration), media, & religion—of which the new first time American Pope's election is but one subject under Jupiter's domain—are all prominent now, especially between May 15-28 as both the Mean & True Nodes are squared exact by Jupiter during this period. Keep in mind, too, that more surprises are ahead--not only at the Scorpio Full Moon opposite the Sun & Uranus in Taurus May 12—but between now and the Sun's exact conjunction to Uranus on May 17.
The astrology this week is lighter and more liminal than the last several weeks. It invites a re-enchantment with life, especially in matters of your heart. This week's astrology includes:- Venus moves into Aries on Wed 4/30: An energizing initiation of fresh energy around relationships, love, beauty, healing pursuits, art, creativity. You may feel a readiness to move forward now, especially on relational themes that were on your heart in February and March (since Venus was already in Aries in Feb 5 – March 27 as a part of its retrograde process).- Venus conjunct Neptune in Aries: Both Saturn and Neptune have been an integral part of this Venus Retrograde this March – April. The conjunction becoming exact this week symbolizes a further re-enchantment of your capacity for love, union, and enjoyment. There's potential for full immersion into relational or creative things . . . as well as possibilities for enmeshment, blurring of boundaries, or illusions to arise. Neptune often helps us see our idealizations first by experiencing them unconsciously (i.e. being “in it” first). Over time we get to see people and situations as they are (rather than how we want them to be). There's beauty in the ideal as well as the reality when we hold it softly.- First Quarter Moon in Leo on Sun 5/4 at 6:52am PT: This point in the lunar cycle marks a crossroads for decisions. You may feel drawn to focus or reorient your energy toward what is most pressing right now. This First Quarter Moon in Leo emphasizes your relationship to giving and receiving affection, attention, and your magnetic pull on others. It provides opportunities to embody your inner spark. This First Quarter Moon also punctuates the dissipating Sun-Mars-Pluto t-square, so there may be additional insights or clarity around your autonomy, power, and control.- Pluto Stations Retrograde: This is a subtle component of the astrology this week. Pluto (along with the other outer planets) is retrograde about half the year. It's retrograde means that over the summer and fall, Pluto will slowly and slightly shift back a few degrees in the zodiac to about 0 degrees Aquarius. This symbolizes a concentration of Pluto in this place, meaning that any transits to Pluto will be more concrete, slow, steady, and take time to integrate.- Sun-Uranus in Taurus opposite Vesta-Juno in Scorpio: Bringing light, liberation, and awakening to the things that you are devoted to.Reflection Questions: 1. What is your heart telling you now? 2. How do you tend to idealize people or situations? 3. How can you embody both strength and flexibility?Wishing you a week of ease, security, and safety

Sheri Horn Hasan's “Karmic Evolution's Astrologically Speaking!” podcast--which drops Friday, February 7—is BAAAAACK! Listen here: https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speakingThis week's Astro News You Can Use includes a look at how--as we approach the Feb 12 Leo Full Moon--the world has been watching as those in the U.S. begin to wake up to a new reality within its governing structure and to fight back. There is no doubt, since the January 29 Aquarius New Moon & the direct stations of Uranus & Jupiter, that the news has been flying so fast and furiously that it's been difficult to keep up most days unless you're a diehard news addict. No wonder sudden shock (Uranus=sudden change) related to codified U.S. law (Jupiter=law, immigration, higher education, religion, philosophy, ethics & morals) has shaken many American's faith in their governing systems.Venus represents who we value as partners, finances, and what we do to earn our money, a.k.a., work, or our “jobs.” And now, since Venus in Aries sextiled Pluto on February 7, these most unconventional—and many say illegal—orders out of President Trump's White House have prompted legal push back. And the fight (Aries) over governmental finances, jobs, & between existig allies & trading partners (Venus) continues. The opportunity to fight back against Plutonic efforts to disempower people by imposing tariffs against allied trading partners, withholding funds from Americans, laying off government workers, discontinuing funding for charitable efforts, etc., has began to bear fruit, considering that a double-digit number of lawsuits have been filed to date. And word has it there will be more anon…after all, the Jupiter mission, now direct, is expansion, lol... We wait to see if there are any new major shocking announcements of the legal sort between now & February 9's Aquarius Sun/Mercury conjunction, Mars/Saturn trine, February 10's Mercury/Uranus square, & February 11's Sun/Uranus square, as we head into the February 12's Leo Full Moon.We do know that Trump's been experiencing a square from transiting Saturn in Pisces from his 7th House of partnership to his natal 10th House Gemini Uranus (which conjoins his Gemini North Node & Sun there), likely spurring his need to shock through unconventional pronouncements. Since several judges have stayed his Executive Orders on issues concerning U.S. birthright, stoppage of funding via USAID, lay-offs of federal workers, granting non elected individuals access to the Treasury Department's payment system, and more, to date, we may well have Saturn to thank. Especially since transiting Saturn will go on to exact square his natal Nodes, Sagittarius Moon, & Gemini Sun--all by April 12, we may see more delays or shut downs of these efforts. We shall see...This Leo Full Moon forms a fixed cross as the Leo Moon opposes the Aquarius Sun & both luminaries square Juno in Scorpio (the partner in the sign of joint resources) opposite Uranus (sudden change.) This period will likely shock even more people out of their complacency over Trump's attempts to take a wrecking ball to America's usual civil & legal structures. Some are calling this a coup from the inside, which puts a new slant on Trump's “deep state” propaganda to mean that HE is the “deep state.” *(Well, it wouldn't be the first time that he is what he projects others to be, right?)Meanwhile, we delve into the meaning of the recent shift of the transiting nodal axis into a Virgo South Node & Pisces North Node, & take a look at the health implications (not only for the U.S. but for the world) since the Hygeia's (asteroid goddess of health) conjoined with the dwarf planet Eris, the goddess of chaos & discord on January 9. This as we await whether the February 11 Senate voters confirm that RFK, Jr., will become our next U.S. Secretary of Health & Human Services. This, as wounded healer Chiron in Aries (wound around the previous inability to take action or to be proactive) heads toward its exact conjunction with Eris on May 26. A lot will likely happen between now and then, given other major astrological shifts coming up, so we'll wait, and watch, and see…Join me now for this interesting and timely podcast @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking and I'll see you then! Astrology forecast for November 10-16 New episode up now! Chris and Almie talk about the full moon in Taurus, which will be exact on Friday, November 15th in the sign of Taurus. This full moon could have us looking at our values and our self-worth. Saturn and Uranus will also be heavily involved in this full moon, which could lead to impulsive decisions, and sudden changes in fortune. They also talk about Venus entering Capricorn on Monday, November 11th, so the planet of beauty and love will be looking fondly on earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo) for the next four weeks, and responsibility and accountability in relationships could be a point of emphasis. And they discuss the Sun-Uranus opposition on Saturday, November 16th that will continue the unpredictability set in motion by the full moon on the 15th. The end of this week could bring some real fireworks! In “Ask a Scorpio,” Chris plays a trivia game with Almie where she needs to guess the names of famous people who were born with a Scorpio Sun and a Taurus Moon. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support
Astrology forecast for September 14-20 Chris and Almie discuss the upcoming lunar eclipse that will be exact at 7:34pm on Tuesday, September 17th. Eclipses tend to speed things up, so we could see new people or situations either entering our lives, or quickly disappearing from them. Because the eclipse is happening in the sign of Pisces, this could be an especially emotional eclipse, and also an opportunity for healing and forgiveness. They also discuss the Venus-Jupiter trine taking place this weekend, the Sun-Uranus trine on Thursday, September 19th, and they give listeners the heads up that Libra Season is just around the corner, beginning on September 22nd! In "Ask a Scorpio," Chris asks Almie for her thoughts about the TV show “Kevin Can F**k Himself,” starring Annie Murphy of “Schitt's Creek.” --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almie/support

In this weekly podcast, depth psychotherapist and astrologer Shawna McGrath shares the astrology of this week from a psychological perspective. This week's astrology of May 13th – 19th brings opportunities to connect with your true self. This involves the Sun making a conjunction to Uranus and then Jupiter in Taurus to symbolize moving against conventional rules or social norms. Venus will also conjunct Uranus this week, emphasizing the relational element of this phenomenon. It's a time where you are discovering more about what it means to be authentic with yourself (Sun-Uranus) and with others (Venus-Uranus). Also this week, the First Quarter Moon in Leo brings an added layer of emphasis around the polarity of self-expression vs. performance. At this point in the monthly lunar cycle, you may be questioning how to move forward in your life based on your priorities vs. the expectations of others. Finally, Mercury moves into Taurus and will square Pluto in Aquarius – this transit is an opportunity to think deeply and discover hidden truths or treasures you may not have realized up to this point. This week, remember that unmasking the true self is a continued process over the lifetime. Thank you for being exactly who you are right now. Wishing you a lovely week

JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM FOR THIS WEEK'S PODCAST First we look back at the momentous after-effects of the Mercury/Pluto conjunction in Aquarius from February 5 when Mercury joined the Sun & Pluto in the sign of independence, technology, humanity, & democracy. Mercury, the god of communication had a lot to say about these subjects when he met up with Pluto, god of the underworld who represents death & rebirth, power, sex, & finances in the form of joint resources & other peoples' money. This podcast discusses the astrology behind recent announcements between February 5-8 that carry such themes. For example, word of King Charles III's cancer diagnosis, Donald Trump's appeals court loss of his ability to claim immunity in his federal criminal case--a major milestone in protecting the U.S. democratic legal system from extinction--& U.S. House of Representative's speaker Mike Johnson's miscalculation that group votes would go his way. These are just a few examples of repercussions of the February 5 Mercury/Pluto conjunction--another one being the announcement that at least 32 of the 136 hostages still held by Hamas (or their proxies) in Gaza since October 7 are now dead. (Mercury/Pluto=messages about death. )Also dead now is the effort to impeach President Joe Biden via the release February 8 of the special prosecutor's report that he did no wrong in the classified documents investigation, & a hard “no” from Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu on the latest proposed Israel/Hamas ceasefire for hostages deal. And then, post the ME/PL conjunction & as we waxed toward the potential disruptive energies of the Sun/Uranus square February 8, there's FL Rep Matt Gaetz's introduction of a resolution in the House to kill Trump's liability based on Section 3 or the 14th Amendment. While February 8's Supreme Court arguments centered on Trump's disqualification from the Colorado presidential ballot on the grounds that he participated in insurrection, Section 3 states that Congress can "remove such a disability...by a vote of two-thirds of each House."If successful, which is unlikely, passage of such a resolution by both Houses of Congress would shield all 147 GOP House & Senate members who voted to accept fake electors & thereby obstruct justice on the evening of the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Understanding this with greater clarity might help change some voters' minds as primary season gets seriously underway soon…It's the Aquarius New Moon square Uranus in Taurus that may bring us such revelations (shocking or otherwise) since it follows the Sun/Uranus square from Feb 8 & is followed by a Mercury/Jupiter square February 10, indicating that overlooked details such as this resolution's import may provide the death knell to democracy as we know it.That sloppy thinking may reveal important details is evident in Mike Johnson's declaration that, though he lost the House vote to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas AND on the bipartisan immigration bill that included aid for Ukraine, Israel, & humanitarian assistance for certain regions, including Gaza, he's promised to try again on the former.Meanwhile, we're headed to a new synodic cycle between Mars & Pluto in Aquarius after Mars enters Aquarius February 12/13 & conjoins Pluto on the 13/14. Happy Valentine's Day as this potentially intense, volatile, explosive energy is bound to result in some fireworks--the only question is whether this energy proves positive or negative in nature. Stay tuned, because after that Venus enters Aquarius & Mercury squares Uranus February 16, while there's then a Venus/Pluto conjunction February 17.The one thing we know for sure is that there are some volatile days ahead as Biden begins to criticize Israel's actions in Gaza as "over the top," Tucker Carlson interviews Russia's strongman Vladimir Putin & aids its anti-western propaganda machine, & Donald Trump moves toward a possible federal criminal trial after all...Check out the latest podcast @ KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM, & we'll see you then! They also discuss the Venus-Chiron square and the Mercury-Pluto conjunction that could make Monday, February 5th a potentially vulnerable and also a very powerful day. They also discuss the Sun-Uranus square on Thursday, February 8th that could bring some shakeups and innovative thinking along with it. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM FOR THIS WEEK'S ASTRO NEWS YOU CAN USE PODCAST WHICH DROPS AT 11 A.M. PT & 2 P.M. ET TODAY! We discuss what's leading up to next week's Sagittarius New Moon--which has both luminaries separating from Mars in Sagittarius & waxing toward squares to Neptune, Mercury stationing retrograde, & a Sun/Uranus quincunx—now that Mercury's in Capricorn & Venus entered Scorpio (after squaring Pluto) last week. We'll discuss how the symbolism of what's going on in the collective right now reflects back to us in our everyday lives that—as we prepare to plant our Sagittarius New Moon seeds for the month on December 12—we need to search our soul (and not our minds or our egos) for what we really believe is moral justice. We'll look at the astro messages of this past week—which illustrate the move of Mercury from fiery Sagittarius into Capricorn (judgments, delays, restrictions, etc.), & Venus into Scorpio (both the delay of financial funding of war AND the issue of rape in the news as both luminaries separate from war god Mars), & much more…And how the winding down of this month's lunar cycle is meant to prepare us for next week's Sagittarius New Moon when we plant seeds that can replace any outdated righteous philosophies about “justice” with ones our soul knows to be truly morally just. We discuss how we know an adjustment is necessary because the Sun quincunxes Uranus, & because Mercury's station retrograde calls for review. All this, including the meaning of the Sun waxing toward an exact square to Neptune--which stationed direct on December 6--at this lunation as we delve into the deeper meaning of Neptune direct & this upcoming Mercury retrograde cycle. These all represent that it's time for some soul-searching about where we've deceived ourselves (or been deceived by others) into believing righteous causes are worth fighting for when deep down our soul may tell us otherwise.Join us for this enlightening asto discussion @ KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM!#astonews, #astronewsyoucanuse,

Today we will look at this week's Sun-Uranus conjunction in the sign of Taurus, which is a pretty interesting conjunction considering that we have a new moon coming up in Taurus and Jupiter moving into Taurus. So much activity is happening in that Taurus region of our birth chart right now. It's a big time for Taurus and Scorpio.

Be sure to tune in each week to find out what's in store for your zodiac sign. Let me know how your week's going? Ah. The settling down after Eclipse Season. It's always a liminal space, a time between times. A moment for the dust to settle. The energy is dissipating, and over the next several months, we're being given a cosmic break, at least when it comes to these supercharged lunations. This week, excitement and unexpected change, liberation, and freedom are on the cards. This rings particularly true for our material world, where our money, home, and work lives are being shaken up in order to give us a bit of breathing room. Although we may initially feel disgruntled at having to adjust – again – ultimately, it's for our own good. Picture the universe wagging her motherly finger at us telling us to eat our vegetables. It's the same sort of thing. Except far more thrilling. And definitely much more interesting. The Sun-Uranus conjunction in Taurus on Tuesday reflects where we need to express ourselves more authentically. Where we need to become a little more shocking. Mercury, our archetypal Messenger of the Gods, is finally going direct on Sunday. Time to apologize for all those misunderstandings. Or to accept apologies. Yet, there is a post-retrograde shadow period to take into account. It'll take a week or two for things to go back to normal, so harness that Taurean patience for just a little longer. On Friday, use the sextile to Saturn from Mercury to get focused, to have those serious conversations, and to take responsibility. Speaking of Saturn, Venus, planet of love and harmony, links to this stern teacher in a sweet trine aspect on Saturday. She softens his harsh energy, and canoodles him into a more receptive space. Anything love-related takes on a sheen of commitment. A gentle sense of duty. A firm promise to have and to hold. Discipline comes along to structure our finances, to restrain what needs to be restrained. Yes, it's a good week. This Week: The Full Moon in dramatic Leeeeeoooo and the Sun's square to Uranus urge us to liberate ourselves from stagnant patterns. As Venus squares Mars, it's time to stop asking for approval and start demanding what is ours. And April answers a listener's question about the difference between the Sun and the Rising Sign in your birth chart. Plus: A hummingbird, an address in L.A., and dealing with the supermarket clerk. Big Sky Astrology on Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube Timestamps [1:17] The Sun squares Uranus on February 3 (6:50 pm PST) at 15°07' Aquarius and Taurus. This is the final critical point in a Sun-Uranus cycle that began on May 5, 2022 when they conjoined at 14°47' Taurus. This cycle describes where we're trying to walk the fine line between having a strong sense of who we are while also being prepared to make changes. [6:37] On February 4, Venus squares Mars (7:29 PM PST) at 11°14' of Pisces and Gemini. The Sabian symbol for Venus, 12 Pisces, is An examination of initiates. The Sabian symbol for Mars is 12 Gemini, A slave girl demands her rights of her mistress. [8:26] Venus and Mars conjoined on February 16, 2022. They squared each other on September 16, 2022 and made an opposition on November 30, 2022. This is the final square of this Venus-Mars cycle, much like the Sun-Uranus configuration on February 3. Will we let others decide our worth or stand up for what we believe we deserve? [9:55] Moon Report! The Full Moon in Leeeeeeoooooo will occur on February 5 at 10:28 AM PST with the Moon at 15°40' Leo and the Sun at 15°40 Aquarius. The Sabian symbol for the Full Moon is 16 Leo, Sunshine just after a storm. The Sun's Sabian symbol is 16 Aquarius, A big-business man at his desk. [13:12] The Sun in Aquarius and Full Moon in Leo are both square Uranus, forming a T-square configuration. Last week's First Quarter Moon in Taurus was conjunct Uranus and this week's Sun is square to Uranus and is approaching Saturn. Tension is plentiful at this time. [14:56] This is the Full Moon in a Lunar Phase Family that began with a New Moon on August 8, 2021 at 16°14' Leo. In that New Moon chart, the Sun and Moon were opposed Saturn and square Uranus. It's time to get out there and begin showing our joyful, creative Uranian selves, but don't forget those Saturnian boundaries. [16:47] Void-of-Course Moon periods (VOC). On February 1, the Moon in Gemini makes a trine aspect to Saturn at 3:58 AM PST. It's VOC for a little over 8 hours (!!!) before it enters Cancer at 12:11 PM. Let your Gemini hummingbird sit still for a minute and think about what is important enough to make permanent. [18:58] On February 3, the Moon in Cancer makes an opposition to Pluto at 10:19 PM Pacific Time. It's VOC for just about two and a half hours before it enters Leeeeeoooooo on February 4 at 00:48 AM Pacific Time. Be humble, do some journaling, and don't take on other people's stuff. [21:06] Listener April (really!) asks a question about the difference between the Sun and the Rising Sign of a birth chart. They may seem interchangeable, but they do very different work! [26:39] If you have a burning question about astrology that you'd like April to answer on a future episode, please leave a voicemail of one minute or less at speakpipe.com/bigskyastrologypodcast or just send an email to april(at)bigskyastrology(dot)com. This is your Horoscope Highlight for the week of Jan 30 - Feb 5, 2023 with world-class astrologer, historian, and author of The Cosmic Calendar, Christopher Renstrom. In this episode, Christopher focuses on the Sun-Uranus square that is coming up on Friday, February 3rd. To do this, he describes the history of the planet Uranus and of the word “revolution.” He teaches about the astronomical peculiarities of Uranus, and how it relates to the archetypal Wheel of Fortune. Finally, he answers the question: “what can we expect from the Sun-Uranus square?”
In this episode I cover the astrology of the week ahead, which brings us the end of Mars' 11-week rx cycle in Gemini, another Mercury Uranus trine, a Venus Mars trine, and a Sun / Uranus square. This very full week features a tense Taurus Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, which promises to make U.S. Election Day more... exciting than usual. Within hours of the eclipse, Mercury connects with the Sun - then both oppose Uranus and square Saturn; ready to break through constrictions and reinvent yourself? And Venus' aspects to Saturn and Neptune promise a happy outcome if we make an effort, tighten our belts, and commit. Plus: A listener question about whether transiting planets' retrograde periods feel different to someone with lots of retrograde planets in their birth chart! Read a full transcript of this episode. Expect to work a little harder to get what you want. [3:52] Election Day in the U.S. coincides with a Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse (Nov. 8, 2022, 3:02 am PST, at 16°01' Taurus) on the Sabian symbol 17 Taurus: A symbolic battle between swords and torches. The Moon is in an exact conjunction with Uranus, opposed the Sun, Venus, and Mercury in Scorpio, and all of them square Saturn in Aquarius. This is the molecular opposite of "chill." [7:10] The release point for this fixed T-Square is in Leo. Creativity, play, and focusing on your own pursuits are great coping mechanisms for any intensity you may experience. [8:09] Check out Episode 151 for insights into eclipses in the Houses of the Horoscope and aspects to natal planets (use conjunction, square, or opposition within 4° orb). How is your chart affected? Then, look to previous eclipses near 16º Taurus - most recently: May 10, 2013 (Solar eclipse, 19°Taurus), Nov. 9, 2003 (Lunar Eclipse, 16°Taurus), May 10, 1994 (Solar Eclipse, 19°48' Taurus), and Nov. 8, 1984 (Lunar Eclipse, 16°30' Taurus). How do important themes and events in these years relate to the present day? [10:02] Check out April's essays about eclipses, and order one of her Followed by a Moonshadow reports - it'll do all of the astrological work for you. Journaling prompts are included! [10:20] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods for this week. Upbeat Jupiter has the final say right now! [10:54] On Nov. 9th (4:00 am PST), the Moon (Taurus 29°09') sextiles Jupiter (Pisces 29°09') and then is VOC for a little over an hour before entering Gemini (5:37 am PST). Stability and resources are available to support a big vision. [11:49] The Moon at 29°02' Gemini squares Jupiter on Nov. 11th (2:28 pm PST). It's VOC for just under two hours before entering Cancer at 4:22 pm PST. A terrific time to capture your big ideas in writing. [12:50] The Sun and Mercury (Scorpio 16°15') make their superior conjunction on Nov. 8 (8:43 am PST). Mercury opposes Uranus at 16°55' Taurus later that day (6:40 pm PST). Since this is Election Day in the U.S., we could experience some unexpected voting or vote counting issues (though is that really unexpected at this point?). [14:10] The Sun (Scorpio 16°54') opposes Uranus (Taurus 16°54'0) on Nov. 9 (12:26 am PST). This is an opportunity to free ourselves not just from the expectations of other people but also from our own ideas of who we are and who we have to be. See if you can connect the dots to the conjunction (May 2022) and square (August 2022) in this Sun-Uranus cycle. [15:19] Mercury (Scorpio 18°52') squares Saturn (Aquarius 18°52') on Nov. 10 (11:51 pm PST). All things Mercury are going to take more determination and effort. Just keep working hard and success will be yours! [16:42] The Sun (Scorpio 18°54') squares Saturn (Aquarius 18°54') on Nov. 11 (12:04 am PST). This aspect is like trying to grow something, (aka you!) in very hard, compacted soil. You could feel exhausted and pessimistic, but don't give up! [18:30] Venus (22°47' Scorpio) trines Neptune (22°47' Pisces) on Nov. 10 (4:22 am PST). Mercury (22°46' Scorpio) trines Neptune (22°46' Pisces) on Nov. 12 at 10:36 am PST. The Sabian symbol for Mercury and Venus at 23 Scorpio is A bunny metamorphosed into a fairy, and Neptune is on 23 Pisces, Spiritist Phenomena which we sometimes see written as A materializing medium. Both symbols speak about transformation on a spiritual level. [21:06] Finally, on Nov. 13 at 1:41 am PST, Venus (Scorpio 26°25') sextiles Pluto (Capricorn 26°25'). Venus squared Pluto on October 19, 2022, and they will meet in a conjunction on December 31, 2022. Venus is on the Sabian symbol 27 Scorpio, A military band on the march, and Pluto is on 27 Capricorn, A mountain pilgrimage. Time to put assemble a team, put on a snappy outfit, and start marching towards a lofty goal. [22:22] A Big Sky Astrology favorite, listener Elliott, asks about how planetary retrograde periods might feel to someone who has a lot of retrograde planets in their birth chart. This week: Venus and Pluto prompt a review of last winter's difficult relationship transitions. A very crowded August 11 features an identity-refining Sun/Uranus square, an Aquarius Full Moon with hard aspects but a peaceful message, and Venus entering Leeeooo. The Sun's face-off with Saturn, and Mars trine Pluto, offer business breakthroughs and personal progress. Plus: listener Pat asks if a Mercury-Jupiter opposition in her chart is really an opposition? April, who has that opposition herself, replies in terms both Mercurial/succinct ("yes") and Jupiterian/verbose (in that way she has). Big Sky Astrology on Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | YouTube Timestamps [0:35] Astrological bullet points for the week of August 8th. [1:08] Venus opposes Pluto on August 8th, marking the halfway point in this yearlong Venus/Pluto cycle. This opposition might shed light on some of the decisions you've made regarding your relationships, with Venus offering a gentler perspective of last winter's Venus/Pluto conjunctions. [3:27] The Sun squares the North Node on August 10, reaching the midpoint between eclipse seasons and urging the release of emotional baggage. It then squares Uranus on August 11th, on the now-familiar Sabian symbol A newly formed continent. Liberate yourself from old ideas about who you are or have to be. [6:40] August 11th is a busy day! Venus enters *Leeeeeeoooooo*, where it celebrates playful pursuits and colorful costumes through September 4th. [7:42] Also on August 11th, Mars makes a sextile to Neptune, with Mars on the Sabian symbol 25 Taurus, A Large Well Kept Public Park - which likes things orderly, at least in public - and Neptune on the Sabian symbol 25 degrees Pisces, The purging of the priesthood. Sincerity triumphs over all; use this conjunction to work towards something that's really meaningful to you. [9:40] It's the Mooooooooon report! The Aquarius Full Moon on (what else?) August 11th brings revelations related to three different lunar cycles - including that Feb. 2021 Aquarius New Moon with six planets in the sign of the waterbearer! The Full Moon's Sabian symbol speaks of peace, but it won't come without an effort: both the Sun and Moon are in aspect to Saturn. [13:08] This week's Void-of-Course Moon periods: What to contemplate when the Moon pauses between signs. [19:03] The Sun opposes Saturn on August 14th, marking the halfway point in this year's Sun/Saturn cycle. From here, you can see how far you've come in taking responsibility for your life, and how far there is yet to go. [20:50] Also on August 14th, there's a nice easy trine between Mars and Pluto, which can bring your ventures to the attention of powerful people. [22:48] This week's listener question is about dissociate/out-of-sign aspects. Can two planets be in opposition aspect if they're not also in opposite signs? April takes a look at the New Moon in Pisces, the Sun's sextile aspect to Uranus, and the Mars and Venus conjunctions with Pluto and what they may mean for you. From the conclusion of relationships to letting go of the ropes and trusting the universe, this Pisces season creates an atmosphere of reflection and release. This New Moon heralds the second anniversary of the pandemic, and a humbling cosmic reminder that we aren't fully in control. So, for all who take solace in checklists, plans, and strategies - ‘tis the season to relax and let go. In Pisces season, life happens and things may not go exactly as planned. As the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces is associated with endings – so now is a great time to ask yourself: “where am I being called to lighten the load?” Building on the theme of reflection and retreat, the Sun-Uranus sextile aspect is an opportunity to integrate and share insights from last month's breakthroughs. Use this as a chance to liberate yourself from who you think you have to be, and to align your persona with your authentic self. Ask yourself: What am I projecting out in the world that is no longer true to who I am inside? Plus: a new Mars-Pluto cycle, Kelly Clarkson's name change, and a juicy listener question about death, suspicion, and hedonism. Note: This episode was recorded before the events in Ukraine, and our hopes for peace and safety go out to the people of Ukraine and our friends in the region. Hint: The cosmic imperative at this time is to move away from the South Node, and toward the North Node. . 07:49 – The Nodes are going to be connecting with the 2021 Saturn/Uranus square! (Lend your ears to Episode 69, Saturn and Uranus: That Escalated Quickly!) Transiting planets that square the Nodal axis are a catalyst for transcendence and growth. In 2022, Mars will square the Nodes (April 5), perhaps bringing up confrontations requiring courage. And Saturn will also square Nodes (April 11), asking you to take responsibility for your growth. Also, transiting planets that conjoin one of the Nodes tip the scales toward one side of the process. On July 31/Aug. 1, Mars, Uranus, and the North Node will join up in Taurus. This can be an unsteady triple conjunction, but the hope is that it moves us in a better direction. . 08:58 – The Taurus North Node can also be about noticing simple pleasures, which can often be easily overlooked – the key is in the noticing. The Scorpio South Node can speak to releasing that which doesn't align with your authentic self. . 11:16 – Mars enters Capricorn (Jan. 24 – March 5), leaving no fire in the chart! On the days that the Moon moves through Sagittarius, Aries, and Leo we'll get that fire – but otherwise, if you find yourself feeling low energy, you might try to do things that are energizing and creative for you. . 13:01 – Head's up: While Mars is in Cap, it will join Pluto on March 3 – and Venus will be near the party, too! Over the next couple of days then, Mars and Venus both enter Aquarius and make a conjunction with each other. Mars is exalted in Capricorn, and its energy is restrained and disciplined. It's a good time for implementing strategy – but wait until Venus turns direct on Jan. 29 and Mercury turns direct on Feb. 3. . 15:48 – **MOONWATCH!** On Jan. 25, we have a Last Quarter (LQ) Moon at 5.33 Scorpio on the Sabian symbol, “A gold rush” – appropriate with Uranus involved! We also have a lovely trine to Jupiter at this lunation. LQ Moons always ask us to look back to see what adjustments need to be made – in this case, look to the New Moon in Cap from three weeks ago, as well as the Lunar Phase Family periods from Oct. 2019, July 2020, and April 2021. Eureka! . 18:52 – Retrograde (Rx) Mercury re-enters Capricorn (Jan. 25)! It was last at these final degrees of Capricorn on New Year's Day, so ponder: Do you want to rethink your New Year's resolutions? Perhaps there is something left unfinished in business or family matters. Remember, Mercury is still Rx through Feb. 3. After it turns direct, will be at this point again on Valentine's Day. It re-enters Aquarius on Feb. 15. (And it's always fun to review Episode 12, Mercury Retrograde: Where Are My Pants?) . 21:40 – Mercury joins Pluto at 26.51 Capricorn (Jan. 28). And yes, April was right – the Sabian symbol is, indeed, “A mountain pilgrimage”! This is the second of three conjunctions; the first was Dec. 30 and the last will be Feb. 11. Does a story connect for you related to thinking/communication and empowerment or “going deep” with something? (And we did discuss this previously! Listen to Episode 105, The Solstice, a Capricorn New Moon, & Zooming into a New Year!) . 23:23 – Venus turns direct at 11.04 Capricorn (Jan. 29)! And there was much rejoicing! This happens on the symbol, “A student of nature lecturing.” Hopefully we'll now see forward momentum in relationships, in money, and in the things that we enjoy. A reminder that Venus turned Rx on Dec. 19 at 26.29 Cap (Episode 104, Venus Turns Retrograde: Cheez Food Sirens!), and made a conjunction with Pluto on Dec. 11 and Dec. 25 (Episode 105, The Solstice, a Capricorn New Moon, & Zooming into a New Year!) and will join Pluto once more on March 3. . 26:03 – The Sun, at 10.52 Aquarius, squares Uranus in Taurus (Jan. 30), on the symbol “Man tête-à-tête with his inspiration.” Uranus is on, “A woman sprinkling flowers.” The propulsive qualities of Uranus might help us see little explosions of growth and inspiration, which sound nice! Note that the next day, we'll have the Aquarius New Moon on the symbol, “People on stairs graduated upwards.” Blain Bovee suggests this symbol is more of a gradual rise rather than sudden discoveries. So perhaps we'll feel driven to do something new, something creative – and although the inspiration comes suddenly, it might unfold gradually over time. [Note: Oops! The correct Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A barometer.” More on that in Episode 108!] . 28:04 – A few days later, on Feb. 4, the Sun will then join up with Saturn! (Yes, that again! Did you think we were done talking about the Saturn/Uranus square?
2022 looks set to be a highly creative year for you, Scorpio, although you will face some challenges in your personal relationships and with your desire for freedom and independence. Start the year cautiously, as Mercury turns retrograde in Aquarius, your family zone, on January 14th, impeding communication at home for a couple of weeks. On February 17th, Jupiter sextiles Uranus in a powerful aspect that affects the joy, risk, and love areas of your natal birth chart; if your love life has been stifled or boring recently, this energy will help you rediscover excitement – although possibly at a cost. Any family discord that arose in January should settle once both Venus and Mars change zodiac signs into Aquarius, your family zone, on March 6th. Meanwhile, your creative instincts get a huge burst of energy from the rare and spectacular Jupiter-Neptune conjunction on April 12th. This is truly inspirational for you, Scorpio, and when Mars changes signs again to focus on your creative zone on April 14th, you will be bubbling over with ideas. A Solar Eclipse in your love zone on April 30th needs careful handling, Scorpio. You may feel hemmed in or trapped in your relationship, but rather than taking drastic action, you should try to communicate your needs. The corresponding Lunar Eclipse in your own zodiac sign on May 16th could be a catalyst for change – one way or the other. Watch for the arrival of Mars in your love zone on July 5th, which may be a sign either of a new relationship or a significant change to the status of your existing partnership. Meanwhile, bountiful Jupiter makes a significant zodiac sign change on May 10th, moving into the everyday work area of your natal birth chart. This makes your working life considerably more pleasant, and progress here is reflected in the New Moon in your career zone on July 28th. August and September are largely quiet months for you, astrologically, although do watch out for Mercury turning retrograde in your spiritual zone on September 9th – this would be a good time for intuitive work, mediumship and psychic development. The pace of life picks up again dramatically on October 25th with the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio. Three days later on October 28th, Jupiter, then retrograde, pushes backward into your risk zone – taken together, these events are suggestive of drastic events in your love life. The Lunar Eclipse on November 8th further underlines this, as does the very tense Sun-Uranus opposition the following day. These Eclipses are about the tension between your need for a partner versus your need to be your own self, so if you cannot find your freedom within a loving relationship, you may have to go it alone. The good news is that Jupiter turns direct in your joy zone on November 23rd. Whatever the emotional upheavals of the previous month, Scorpio, the dust will have started to settle by then, and you will move forward towards the end of 2022 in a much more confident frame of mind.

I'm feeling the need to escape or rebel, The more the hammer comes down. I need to tap the genius within, To create more common ground. So yeah, the Sun will conjunct Uranus in Taurus and square Saturn in Aquarius within days (actually active all week). As I often refer to Uranus as the alarm clock, we can expect an alarming week! Time to wake up to what is happening right before our very eyes as the north node in Gemini and Mercury moving into Gemini tells us. Whoa! I purposely took the time in today's report to discuss this video before posting the link somewhere. Please, please, please, do not judge me or put me in a box because of the source or the radical page or other suggested videos that come up when you click the link! I am not a John Bircher, patriot, or any other label that comes to mind (and disagree with much that appears related to this video anyway). Try to listen to get his description of Collectivism and Individualism. You may also see them as good descriptions of Aquarius (the Saturn side of Aquarius, not the Uranian that is most often touted in New Age circles), and Leo, its polar opposite. https://bit.ly/3e2MI3c I'm interested in your thoughts, so leave a comment. Next, I have to change the order of the songs that I mentioned because I think Neil Young and "Are You Ready for the Country" is more Moon in Sag: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wA3u... Then she moves in Cappy, opposes Mars in Cancer, and wants some Blue Bayou: https://youtu.be/Kp9G0zkorio Finally (even though there's no such thing, LOL), she moves into Aquarius on Sunday and buddies up with Saturn to tussle with Sun/Uranus. This will definitely be some Schizo energy that feels like King Crimson: https://youtu.be/ge1PL0p0zO8 And lastly, to end on a happy note, let's have some high vibrational food! https://youtu.be/_7XczBuFRc4 I'm going down the rabbit hole with some folks in Costa Rica next month (coming up fast!). https://astrology.tv/ Professional Astrologer, Kelli Fox, from Astrology.TV gives you an astrology forecast for the week ahead and a weekly horoscope for April 26 - May 2. Be sure to tune in each week to find out what’s in store for your zodiac sign. Let me know how your week’s going? Subscribe, like and comment on this video. WEEKLY HOROSCOPE FOR April 26 - May 2 Much of this week is colored by the intense emotions of the Scorpio Full Moon on Monday. This is Scorpio energy in its most fixed, purposeful mode and the determination brought by this Full Moon is almost palpable. This charts the course for the week until Friday, when a conjunction between the Sun and Uranus introduces a wild card element. Disruptive but for the higher good, this aspect brings shocks and surprises for the status quo. The following day, Mercury trines Pluto, proving that where there is a will, there is a way – this intelligent energy is especially good for challenging authority. It’s also constructive, although it may initially feel as if things are being torn down. ARIES Financially, the Full Moon stirs up a wealth of emotions for you, Aries. You may feel very possessive about your material wealth, and unwilling to help someone else. Alternatively, it could be that others are demanding repayment of debts. Either way, money is sure to be a touchy topic this week. The Sun-Uranus conjunction also impacts your money zone and could be the shock you need for a whole soul financial re-think. Think about how your career options may expand if you weren’t so financially tied down. Saturday’s Mercury-Pluto trine is good for showing you what might be, could be, should be in this regard. TAURUS The Full Moon in your love zone stirs up a host of emotions – all of them passionate and tumultuous, not all of them necessarily enjoyable. Expect to feel intensely jealous or possessive of a lover, even if you have no real grounds to feel suspicious. This energy can be very full-on, and it could lead to a lot of unnecessary angst in your relationship. Try not to over-react, even if you feel provoked. Friday’s Sun-Uranus conjunction in your own zodiac sign speaks of rash, impulsive action when your ego feels threatened – but again, try very hard to count to ten before doing anything you cannot later undo. Saturday’s Mercury-Pluto trine will ease the pressure, showing you a better, more philosophical way to handle your emotions. GEMINI Intense emotions during the Full Moon center on your own health and wellbeing, or perhaps that of a pet. Stressing out will achieve nothing – what’s needed is a dose of calm reflection and some practical decisions. You are worrying over nothing much. If you can stay calm, all will be well. On Friday, expect some sudden spiritual insight as the Sun conjuncts Uranus in your spiritual zone. This may be a sudden realization of psychic talents, or perhaps even an unsettling paranormal encounter. Whatever it is, it gives you great food for thought and this is reflected in the thoughtful Mercury-Pluto trine on Saturday. Not everything can be explained away rationally. CANCER The culmination of a creative project brings you great satisfaction around the Full Moon on Monday, but issues with your children, even if they are now adults, may build up the emotional intensity. Try not to let worry or stress cloud your week. Taking an objective look at reality will help – things are never really as bad as you fear. On Friday, the Sun-Uranus conjunction falls in your objectivity zone, so you can expect a breakthrough in your understanding of your situation. Saturday’s Mercury-Pluto trine is very helpful if you’re actively seeking friendships or building up a social circle. Ideas flow easily and companionship is good. LEO Family matters may come to a head during Monday’s Full Moon, with some seriously intense emotions on all sides. This may not be an easy period, but in your heart, you know that it is necessary, in order to clear the air and make a fresh start. Hang on in there. Away from your private life, it’s your public life under scrutiny during Friday’s Sun-Uranus conjunction. This puts you in the spotlight, probably out of the blue, and demands that you react professionally to a crisis. Fortunately, you are well equipped to do so. The following day, Mercury trines Pluto, showing that your clever thinking and original ideas have impressed the powers that be. Good news could well be on the way in your job. VIRGO Burnout may arrive early this week, right on cue with the emotionally intense Scorpio Full Moon on Monday. You are being pulled in all directions and frankly you’ve had enough. Take some time out. Step away from the rollercoaster and let the world turn without you for a day or two. Later, on Friday, the Sun-Uranus conjunction may reveal an out of the blue travel opportunity, which you will want to seize with both hands. Indeed, travel is something of a theme at the end of the week, with Saturday’s Mercury-Pluto trine also hinting that travel could bring adventure, freedom and even love. LIBRA Monday’s Full Moon is in your money zone and may well bring a boost to your income – but at a cost, most likely to your work-life balance. Expect a difficult decision, with no right and wrong answers. Later in the week, when the Sun conjuncts Uranus, you may second guess the choices you made at Full Moon. This is especially likely if you have been in debt recently or are struggling financially. Hold to your original thought. You don’t need as much money as you think you do. On Saturday, when Mercury tries Pluto, you may get an unexpected offer of help from within the family – don’t be afraid to take it. SCORPIO A Full Moon in your own sign is your cue to take a good look at who you are, how far you’ve come and whether your life’s journey so far feels authentic – and what you can do about it if it doesn’t. Expect to feel highly emotional and easily moved, both to tears and to laughter. This is raw Scorpio energy and of course you feel it more than anyone else. Look to your sweetheart for support, but don’t necessarily expect them to back you in the traditional way. A romantic shock or surprise on Friday, when the Sun conjuncts Uranus, should set your mind at rest. Saturday’s Mercury-Pluto trine encourages you and your lover to share ideas, schemes and visions. SAGITTARIUS Got secrets? Be prepared for Monday’s Full Moon to expose them, or at least to make you feel very uncomfortable about them. It may be to your benefit to reveal the truth yourself, before you are backed into a corner. Friday’s Sun-Uranus conjunction occurs in your everyday work zone and could signal important news in your career. It may come as a shock or feel like an unwelcome development but try to maintain an open mind – this may very well turn out to be a good thing. On Saturday, look out for an opportunity to increase your income, courtesy of the helpful Mercury-Pluto trine. CAPRICORN Expect some drama in your social life around the time of Monday’s Full Moon. The emotions are unusually full-on for you, and you may find it difficult to focus on anything else. However, Friday’s Sun-Uranus conjunction brings you back down to earth and provides a shock or a surprise that brings you joy. This happy news comes out of the blue but definitely puts a smile on your face. The following day, Mercury’s trine to Pluto also boosts your feel-good factor, particularly as it allows you to ‘win’ against an authority figure of some kind. AQUARIUS Monday’s Full Moon occurs in your career zone and speaks to career success, promotion or perhaps other, less welcome drama. Either way, it’s set to be an eye-opening week at work, with revelations and secrets coming out. Away from work, try to focus more on your home life this week. Friday’s Sun-Uranus square points towards happy family news, so there is something to celebrate – even if it does come as a shock. The following day, the Mercury-Pluto trine is all about discovering your past and empowering yourself through knowledge of what your forebears went through. Genealogy can be surprisingly uplifting. PISCES Expect a crisis of faith around the time of Monday’s Full Moon. Even if you are not religious, something you firmly believe in – a principle of some kind – is being wildly challenged, which makes you deeply uncomfortable. You would like to speak up to defend your beliefs, but communication may be a struggle initially. Look to Friday, and the useful Sun-Uranus conjunction, for a boost to your speaking skills, enabling you to get out the words you’ve been longing to say. You may have to accept that you have been wrong on some counts, however. Saturday’s Mercury-Pluto trine may reveal this, so objectivity is necessary – don’t beat yourself up if you were misled. Short Horoscopes: ARIES Money is an intensely touchy topic this week, no matter how much or how little you have. You do have options though, as the weekend reveals. TAURUS Jealousy, bitterness and resentment are stirred up by the Full Moon, but if you can put your ego to one side, you will quickly feel better. GEMINI Health and spirituality are your zodiac sign's main concerns this week, and you may find that the Full Moon stirs up stress over both of these issues. CANCER Creatively, you’re on a roll. However, anxieties about children – even grown-up ones – may be clouding your week. LEO Intense family matters and a drama at work make for an edgy week. Keep your cool and find the positives. VIRGO You may be feeling exhausted and at the end of your tether, but this week brings opportunities to travel which you won’t want to miss. LIBRA A boost to your income is in the cards, but only at a cost to your personal or family life. Work out your priorities carefully. SCORPIO Expect to feel easily moved, both to tears and to laughter. The Scorpio Full Moon turns your intensity dial up to the max. SAGITTARIUS Secrets may be revealed during the Full Moon, and there could be dramatic news at work too. Stay calm – it could be good news. CAPRICORN Friendships are likely to be tumultuous during the Full Moon period, but a sudden burst of happy news makes up for all that. AQUARIUS There’s a focus on your career during the Full Moon, but your family life is also important this week: don’t neglect your loved ones. PISCES The Full Moon brings a crisis of faith, but you can learn a great deal from this – it’s time to grow, spiritually speaking. https://astrology.tv/ Professional Astrologer, Kelli Fox, from Astrology.TV gives you an astrology forecast for the month ahead and your monthly horoscope for April 2021. Be sure to tune in each monthl to find out what’s in store for your zodiac sign. Let me know how your month’s going? April 2021 begins on a relatively quiet note, astrologically speaking. Harmonious aspects allow life to chug along contentedly enough, although Mars’ square aspect to Neptune on April 9th is a little draining. We can expect a big upsurge in energy on April 11th, however, when the Aries New Moon more or less demands a fresh start. Venus moves into sensual Taurus on April 14th, teaching us how to be stubborn while also playing nicely with others. When first the Sun and then Mercury square up to authoritarian Pluto on the 16th and 17th respectively, we discover that bending the rules must be done tactfully. There’s a major opportunity period around April 17th when Mars trines Jupiter – big, bold visions get the go-ahead here, and fortune definitely favors the brave. On April 19th, both the Sun and Mercury move into Taurus and cautious energies begin to emerge. On the 22nd and 23rd, Venus and then Mercury conjunct unpredictable Uranus, setting the scene for shocks and surprises, particularly with money. The major energy shift of the month is on April 23rd, when Mars arrives in Cancer. Mars’ energy here can be expressed poorly, sometimes via passive-aggressive behavior; we’ll see this too when Mercury and Venus jointly square up to stubborn Saturn on April 25th. The Scorpio Full Moon on April 26th is very emotionally intense; with Pluto turning retrograde the following day, there’s plenty of scope for self-psychoanalysis. April 2021 rounds out with a Sun-Uranus conjunction in Taurus on the 30th – where stubborn egos meet unpredictable forces, so things could turn interesting.

Discover how to make the most of these cosmic energies especially during challenging times. Here’s the overview for today: Bright ideas are the forefront of today’s astrological energy, encouraged by the Sun-Uranus trine. This is a good day for trying something new. Tear up tradition and do things a different way. Not everyone will be keen on the untried and untested – the Air signs, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius, will be much more reticent about this than normal. But for those who are willing to embrace the new and novel, good news is on the way. Looking ahead, romance is tricky to navigate on Wednesday, as Venus squares up to Neptune. If it’s your birthday today, break the mold in the coming year. Do things your way, despite any disapproval from friends or family. Short: Bright ideas are at the forefront of today’s astrological energy, encouraged by the Sun-Uranus trine.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas! In this episode, we outline our reasons for basing our analysis on Traditional Western Astrology Fundamentals and preview the Sun/Uranus aspect happening tomorrow.

The Mercury-Uranus trine is witty and spontaneous, so be prepared to change plans at the last moment – you won’t regret it. For the Earth signs, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, this is a fabulous time to catch up with extended family. Relationships are all round warm and friendly, and there is a lot of laughter to be had for all signs. Looking ahead, Sunday’s Sun-Uranus trine is full of brilliant ideas and original innovations. If it’s your birthday today, laughter and companionship will be very healing during the coming year – your best therapy will be the company of good friends. Short: This is a lovely day for a festive get-together, with a witty and sparkling Mercury-Uranus trine.
HOROSCOPE 2021 OVERVIEW 2021 sees three Saturn-Uranus squares – a major aspect in astrology which last occurred in 1999-2000. For you, Aries, these squares reveal a tension between your own values, the values of your social group, and society’s imposed values. February, June and December will be particular crunch points in this regard, but you may struggle with being told what to think throughout the year. Although you start 2021 with Mars, your ruling planet, in your own zodiac sign, it moves into your values zone on January 6 th and the tension begins. During the second week of January, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn, all in your social zone, form tense approaches with volatile Mars and Uranus; you may start to feel pretty uncomfortable in the social sphere around this time, and once Mercury turns retrograde at the end of January, this will only intensify. Mid-February sees the first of the Saturn-Uranus squares, Aries, so you may experience anger, fallouts with friends or exasperation with the prevailing culture at work. In early March, Mars shifts into your communication zone, making you even less likely to hold your tongue and keep the peace. At work, this could become a particular issue in mid-April, when the Sun squares up to control freak Pluto, which is transiting your career zone. It may only be your liking for the job’s secure income, boosted by Venus arriving in your money zone at this time, which stops you from doing something drastic. You will start to feel increasingly evangelical in your views, Aries, once Jupiter shifts into Pisces and your spirituality zone on May 13 th and until it turns retrograde there on June 20 th . However, a Lunar Eclipse in your beliefs zone in late May, coupling with Mercury turning retrograde in your communication zone, may prevent you from speaking out as much as you would like to; the Solar Eclipse in your communication zone on June 10 th backs this up too. Impatient, impulsive Mars moves into your risk zone in mid-June, just in time for the second Saturn-Uranus square, so if there is a point of no return on this issue, it’s likely to be then. The second half of the year seems much calmer for your zodiac sign, and indeed things settle down considerably in July and August, and with Venus moving into your love zone, you should feel more at ease. However, be sure to keep communication open with your sweetheart ahead of Mercury’s retrograde in your love zone in late September. Enjoy the relative peace while it lasts, Aries, because the Lunar Eclipse in late November occurs in your values zone, perhaps impacting dearly held opinions you have, or even on things you physically value – your bank balance. This is swiftly followed by a Solar Eclipse in early December in your learning zone, which may help you fill in the blanks about what life has been trying to teach you. The third and final Saturn-Uranus square in late December holds less tumult for you, as you have started to come to terms with its message; by the time Jupiter arrives back in your spiritual zone in the last days of 2021, you will understand how to honor your own views while also honoring others. LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS HOROSCOPE The first quarter of 2021 is a challenging time for your closest relationships, Aries, not least because the frustration and exasperation you feel in everyday life easily spills over into your love life too. If you are single, however, January may be a good time to meet someone who works in a similar field to you – when Venus conjuncts Pluto in your career zone, this could be an overwhelming attraction. If your relationship has already been on the rocks for a while, February brings some stability and respite when Venus conjuncts Saturn and then Jupiter in quick succession. There’s a touch of magic available in your love horoscope too in March when Venus conjuncts Neptune. Despite the tension, Aries, romance is most definitely not dead. However, when Mars shifts into your family zone in April, Venus too ratchets up the tension, squaring up to Pluto and then Saturn during April, highlighting jealousy from a partner who wants you to spend more time at home and less time either working, socializing or doing your own thing. A sense of vagueness and a lack of certainty in love could also be annoying for your partner late in May when Venus squares Neptune. Although family tensions continue through June, these are more related to children and extended family than directly to your partner; indeed, there are signs of an increasingly deep connection in love during early summer, when Venus trines Jupiter, then trines Neptune, before opposing Pluto in late June and proving that love wins out over coercion every time. July, which Venus spends mostly in your dating zone, is a magical time for meeting someone new, Aries, or indeed for restoring the spark in an existing relationship. During August, your love life feels grounded, earthy and largely contented, with Venus creating trines to Uranus, Pluto and Saturn, all of which will keep you connected with your emotions and with what matters most to your lover. During September, however, you will need to work hard to get enough quality with your sweetheart. This looks like being a busy social month for you, but Venus’ squares to Pluto, then Saturn, and later Jupiter suggest that there’s not enough focus on privacy or intimacy. If you are single, mid-November is an excellent time for meeting someone special – but don’t try too hard! A beautiful Venus-Uranus trine in your love horoscope suggests that the most meaningful encounters will come out of the blue. Whether with this new partner or, if you are already happily in a relationship, with your existing partner, December packs a punch on the romance front. Venus conjuncts Pluto twice, once on the 11 th and again on the 25 th having turned retrograde. You’ll be asked to make a commitment around this time: it’s all or nothing, so are you ready to make long-term plans? MONEY AND CAREER HOROSCOPE The impact of the first Saturn-Uranus square dominates January and February in astrology and, if you feel that your right to an opinion is being curtailed at work, you will feel this impact in your career too. Nonetheless, there are optimistic signs that you can get ahead during early 2021 if you can keep your emotions in check, Aries. A volatile Mars-Jupiter square in late January, for example, suggests that too much aggression will curtail your opportunities, but an inspirational Mercury- Jupiter conjunction in mid-February highlights your skills and how you can make yourself irreplaceable. There are more positive opportunities in March, particularly when Mars trines Saturn and helps you to stabilize your position, and in April, when Mars trines Jupiter and gives a huge boost to new and exciting projects. A dramatic Sun- Uranus conjunction in late April in your money zone could even see some unexpected earnings, a windfall or a promotion of some kind. During May, focus on taking control and responsibility where you can, Aries. A Sun-Pluto trine mid-month will help with this and should boost both your income and your status at work. If you work in the arts or the creative industries, the end of May also sees a trine between Mars and Neptune, which helps to harness the power of the imagination – although the Lunar Eclipse late in May could suggest problems with work-related travel. Try to avoid doing anything drastic with regard to your career in June, Aries; you may well feel on edge and wound up, courtesy of the Solar Eclipse and the second Saturn-Uranus square, but with Mars in your risk zone, you won’t be thinking very clearly. This edginess continues into July, as Mars opposes Saturn and then squares Uranus; you may feel that your creativity or freedom is being restrained, but if you can hang on in there, the pieces will start to fall into place. At the end of July, an inspirational Mars-Jupiter opposition will help to re-vamp your working routines or schedules in such a way that more freedom is possible. Late August brings an eccentric but exciting Mars-Uranus trine, activating your money zone and perhaps bringing your inspiration for a new side hustle or lucrative project. During September, the first steps with this get the go-ahead from a series of solar trines to Uranus, Pluto and Saturn, as well as Mars trines to Pluto and Saturn – this is definitely a month to set things in motion. Later in October, however, watch out for a tense Mars-Pluto square which pits your working life against your love life; November’s Lunar Eclipse in your money zone might exacerbate this too. Don’t take unnecessary financial risks in late November or early December – Mars is set to oppose Uranus and later square Jupiter, giving you reckless thoughts, especially egged on by friends and colleagues. You round out the year with bountiful Jupiter moving into Pisces and your privacy zone in December, for the second time this year – getting some peace and quiet may help to boost your business as 2022 gets underway.

Join accredited professional astrologer, Kelli Fox, on today’s podcast as she shares her daily wisdom about how the planets are affecting us each day. Discover how to make the most of these cosmic energies especially during challenging times. Here’s the overview for today: A nostalgic vibe today comes courtesy largely of the Sun-Uranus square, plus a Moon-Saturn conjunction. The past needs honoring in some way, and that probably takes the form of commemorating a tradition. Some signs, like Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, will want to kick against this, but honestly, this isn’t the time or the place. You can create dynamic change without having to cause upset. Looking ahead, Wednesday’s Pisces Moon is compassionate and loving, so reach out to someone who needs help. If it’s your birthday today, your challenge this year is to acknowledge your past without becoming stuck in it. Talking therapies would help, as would journaling. Short: Today’s nostalgic vibe comes from the Sun-Uranus square, plus a Moon-Saturn conjunction.

Sometimes, you just have to say what you think. The hippies say it best – speak your truth. Say what you mean. Unload your heart. Mercury in sensitive Cancer definitely describes an emotional style of communication and thinking, which could be seen, as, well, a bit extra. In all honesty, as adorable as the zodiac sign Cancer is, it’s also a sign that can be crabby (get it? crabby?) and a bit defensive. Just a bit. And, this week sees the crab getting the big guns out as Mercury squares fiery Mars in Aries, and then opposes both Jupiter and Pluto in strict Capricorn. It’s the kind of week where your boss gets all up in your grill, your sweetheart isn’t so sweet anymore, and you’re prone to rushing in where angels fear to tread – and to hell with the consequences. The Sun-Uranus square exacerbates an already tense and volatile week, and now, more than ever, you’ll want to be booking that flight to Honolulu. Will you do it? It depends. You’ll be faced with a lot of opposition coming from the external – i.e. people and situations – and sometimes, it’ll feel as if the adulting button has been turned all the way up. Can you avoid catastrophic thinking, and imagining the worst? Can you stand your ground? You’ll have to try your best not to obsess, get entangled in a pointless tug of war or become utterly consumed with an idea, conversation, or person. Yes, it’s not easy. But also – it doesn’t last forever, okay? Astrology is that opportunity you need to clear the air and simply reflects your state of mind (in other words, astrology isn’t the cause of your problems, sweetheart. Sorry – not sorry!). The upside? The sweet trine between Mercury and Neptune flings your intuitive doors wide open so that when you’re faced with a hard decision, you can follow your gut. When you bypass your rational brain (aka the overanalyzing one), you’ll make your best decisions yet, as well as keep everyone happy. That snappy Mercury-Mars square will be blunted and you’ll instantly see the solution. Just don’t give away your trust too easily – with a Venus-Neptune square, there’s a chance that you could have the wool pulled over those pretty eyes, and you won’t be very happy with the results. Again, drop into that gut, baby. It has all the answers you’ll ever need! Finally, this week, just express yourself. Be shocking if you have to be. Just don’t chuck all reason to the sky and head for the hills. As demanding as the desire for total freedom is, the world isn’t built for lasting chaos. There’s an order that, sadly, everyone has to follow. Try and find a way in which to be free and rebellious within those limits. Work the system, baby! #ARIES #AriesHoroscope Ouch! Did you mean what you just said there, Aries? Better backtrack before you anger people you really don’t want to. Even if you are right. #TAURUS #TaurusHoroscope The Venus-Neptune square has you feeling all kinds of mushy, Taurus. But you could be falling for a tall story. Check your facts before you make a move. #GEMINI #GeminiHoroscope OMG. You’ll be saying that a lot this week, Gemini. Like, over and over again. Don’t give into the drama, as tempting as it is. #CANCER #CancerHoroscope Oh, that tender little heart of yours feels like it’s getting pummelled at the moment. So much miscommunication! Can you make forgiveness your mantra this week, Cancer? #Leo #LeoHoroscope “I want to break free” is the track playing in your head this week, Leo. Try and make that break without throwing your entire life into chaos, darling. #VIRGO #VirgoHoroscope This isn’t the week to project all the fear, Virgo. Repeat to yourself “everything will be fine” until you believe it. You are loved. You are safe. #LIBRA #LibraHoroscope Decisions are even harder than usual this week, Libra. Work on not getting your knickers in a knot (but also, be on guard for any kind of deception). #SCORPIO #ScorpioHoroscope That sting is sharp this week, Scorpio. Sure, it’s great to make empowered decisions. But not at the expense of everyone’s feelings. #SAGITTARIUS #SagittariusHoroscope Ideas are flying around at the speed of light this week, Sagittarius. Take it one step at a time – don’t bite off more than you can chew, honey. #CAPRICORN #CapricornHoroscope Yes, you’re right. You usually are. But please, dear Capricorn, make room for others’ opinions, too. Especially your sweetheart’s. Play nicely, now. #AQUARIUS #AquariusHoroscope Ignore that insidious inner voice, Aquarius! Shut it down before you buy into all that old programming. You aren’t the slave you think you are. #PISCES #PiscesHoroscope That gut of yours, Pisces, she has the right idea. Whether it’s a love affair or a relationship that has your attention, drop in and tune in. #WeeklyHoroscopes #Horoscopes #astrology #zodiac
