Richie is joined by Dr. Jayne Donegan and Taylor Hudak. This from Stephen Jackson, writing in The Daily Sceptic: "Tom was born with chromosomal abnormalities. He is non-verbal and has never achieved a mental age beyond 18 months, but with his mother's love and care he has made it to 24 years old. Physically, however, Tom is fit and survived Covid with a sniffle. Despite this, a Governmental health authority, an Integrated Care Board (ICB), has for two years continued to spend a small fortune on lawyers in the Court of Protection demanding, against his mother's wishes that Tom be given the COVID-19 vaccine. What is going on?" To discuss this, Richie is joined by the great Dr. Jayne Donegan. https://www.jayne-donegan.co.uk/Taylor Hudak is a journalist based in Budapest. Her work covers issues around human rights, free speech, health, and law. The article makes the case that these NGOs focus their activity to the "strategic and political control of society, to what euphemistically in the United States is called regime change."

Ted discusses the content as well as Biden's mental acuity during today's highly anticipated event. James Carey, editor/co-owner at Geopoliticsalert.com, joins us to discuss Afghanistan. Representative Adam Smith, chair of the House armed services committee, has stated that President Biden has elected to remain in Afghanistan beyond the May 1st agreed date for troop withdrawal. Smith argues that the time is logistically impossible and that Biden is seeking to negotiate for more time. Meanwhile, the Taliban says that there may be consequences for breaching the agreement.Alexander Mercouris, editor-in-chief at theduran.com & host of "The Duran" on Youtube, joins us to discuss the conviction of Craig Murray. In what many free speech activists are calling a miscarriage of justice, a Scottish court has found Craig Murray in contempt of court for articles posted to his website & several tweets. Court is adjourned until May 7th. Dan Kovalik, writer, author, and lawyer, joins us to discuss the US attempts to thwart the independence of nations in the Global South. Dan Kovalik argues that the US is invoking the "bugaboo" of Russia and China trying to dominate the Global South as a way of propagandizing American citizens into supporting its hegemonic intentions. Also, Professor Danny Shaw describes a day in the life of Haitian protestors who oppose imperialism and dictatorship.KJ Noh, peace activist, writer and teacher, joins us to discuss Russia and China's unified response to recent US provocations. An article in Global Times asserts that the Eurasian alliance has a definition of multilateralism that does not include using claims of human rights violations as a weapon to dominate its adversaries. They argue that the only version of a "rules-based international order" that should be respected is one in which international law is at the foundation. Chris Hedges, author, speaker, and investigative journalist, joins us to discuss his latest article. Hedges says that "Millions of largely white Americans, hermetically sealed within the ideology of the Christian right, yearn to destroy the Satanic forces they blame for the debacle of their lives."Ray McGovern, former CIA analyst and co-founder of the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, joins us to discuss recent evidence that the intelligence agencies are flagrantly violating US law by getting involved in US politics. A recent Glenn Greenwald article asserts that intelligence agencies are using the issue of domestic terrorism to justify illegal intelligence operations on US soil. A recent Department of Homeland Security Report on domestic terrorism shows that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) were involved in its creation.Taylor Hudak, journalist and editor of "Activism Munich," joins us to discuss recent evidence that the UK government is spying on its citizens. Dr. Colin Campbell, a Washington, DC, news correspondent, joins us to discuss the second impeachment trial of former US President Donald Trump. Trump's legal team has indicated they intend to employ the strategy of posing big constitutional questions. The attorneys will argue that the impeachment procedures are unconstitutional because the former president is no longer in office, and that the speech he made on January 6th was protected under the First Amendment. Steve Poikonen, a national organizer for the Action 4 Assange group, joins us to discuss the plight of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. A coalition of organizations, headlined by the ACLU and Human Rights Watch, sent a letter to the US Department of Justice requesting they drop all charges and stop the attempt to extradite the beleaguered journalist to the US. Parker Higgins, who serves as the advocacy director at Freedom of the Press Foundation, has called the charges against Assange "among the most disastrous press freedom issues in the country." Wyatt Reed, a Sputnik News analyst and producer for Radio Sputnik's By Any Means Necessary, joins us to discuss the Ecuador elections. Anti-IMF candidate Andrés Arauz won the top spot in the first round of the Ecuadorian elections by a wide margin, as other candidates scramble to see who won a tight second-place finish. Also, a long history of illegal coups and election meddling has many in the global south concerned the US and its European allies may try to tilt the process towards the neoliberal challengers. Taylor Hudak, editor of Activism Munich and co-founder of Action 4 Assange, joins us to discuss a new social media platform that is in the making. In light of the recent increase of online censorship, a consortium of advocates and technical experts have come together to create a social media platform called "panquake" that will be minimally censored. The project will use blockchain technology and will strive to minimize intrusion into the experience of users. Dr. Yolandra Hancock, a board-certified pediatrician and obesity medicine specialist, joins us to discuss the World Health Organization's investigation into the origins of the novel coronavirus. An ongoing investigation has so far determined that "the introduction through an intermediary host species is the most likely pathway and one that will require more studies and more specific targeted research.” The Trump administration had long claimed that China was at fault and implied that COVID-19 was either the result of an intentional act or gross negligence. Scott Ritter, a former UN weapons inspector in Iraq, joins us to discuss the Biden administration's latest foreign policy maneuvers. The Biden team has taken dramatic steps which appear to increase the chance of an act of intentional human extinction. The Pentagon has moved strategic bombers to Norway in an act that is intended to threaten Russia with a nuclear attack. Meanwhile, the head of US strategic command has stated that a nuclear confrontation with China, an act that would almost assuredly end nearly all life on earth, is a distinct possibility. Laith Marouf, a broadcaster and journalist based in Beirut, Lebanon, joins us to discuss US policy in Syria. Multiple outlets are reporting that the US is sending more troops to Syria, as the Pentagon argues troops in the oil-producing regions of Syria are not there to "protect" the oil. Also, in a continuation of the Trump administration's policy, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has endorsed Israel's illegal occupation of the Golan Heights region of Syria, arguing it is necessary for Israel's security. Dan Kovalik, a labor and human rights lawyer, professor, and author, joins us to discuss Iran. The Biden foreign policy team is continuing the foreign policies of the Trump administration regarding the Iran nuclear deal. While Iran's position that the US left the deal and has the responsibility to re-enter it without changes is hard to dispute, the US is moving further away from that stance and seems to be realigned with the Iran policies of former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Elliott Abrams, who served as Trump's special representative for Iran and Venezuela.

Dr. Jack Rasmus, professor in the Economics and Politics Departments at St. Mary's College of California, joins us to discuss the United States Congress' failure to provide an economic stimulus bill for the US economy. Rasmus argues that the CARES Act and all subsequent economic, legislative moves have been temporary mitigation actions and that we are heading into a disastrous economic downturn. He estimates that some 25 million Americans are out of work. Rasmus says that the blame lies squarely with legislative leaders for failing to act boldly and decisively. Our hosts, Dr. Wilmer Leon and Garland Nixon, review the Hunter Biden and Russiagate investigations' current state. They talk about US Attorney General Bill Barr's history as a CIA analyst and operative, and how he sees little possibility that either investigation will continue after appointees of US President-elect Joe Biden take power at the Department of Justice.Nick Davies, peace activist and author of Blood on Our Hands, the American Invasion of Iraq, joins us to discuss an article written by Ann Garrison in which she discusses her concerns about the selection of Samantha Power to be the head of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Power's history is filled with support for regime-change operations and general meddling in the affairs of sovereign nations.Mark Sleboda, Moscow-based international relations and security analyst, returns to discuss the annual news conference of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which took place on Thursday. Additionally, the UK-based website Bellingcat is being cited by numerous Western media outlets as a credible source for recent assertions regarding the alleged poisoning of Alexei Navalny with Novichok. Sleboda discusses the facts of the case and the newest allegations.Dan Lazare, investigative journalist and author of "The Velvet Coup," joins us to talk about a recent article in The Nation magazine that argues that US President Donald Trump is a symptom of America's downfall. Dan discusses the reality that war-making policy has completely shifted from the constitutionally prescribed authority of the US Congress to secret cabals within the Pentagon's bowels, the intelligence agencies-State Department complex and unelected appointees from shady think tanks. Taylor Hudak, editor of acTVism Munich and co-founder of Action4Assange, joins our hosts to discuss recent recordings that have surfaced from James O'Keefe's Project Veritas. The project reveals that WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange contacted the State Department in 2011 and notified it that 250,000 diplomatic cables had been stolen from WikiLeaks and may be released soon. Assange advised the department to take mitigating actions to protect personnel because the necessary redactions and precautions may not have been taken by the thief.Caleb Maupin, journalist and political analyst, joins us to discuss recent Chinese advances in space technology. The Chang'e 5 mission involved sending a spacecraft to the moon, retrieving lunar samples and safely returning those samples to earth. China is planning to launch at least four manned spacecraft over the next two years in a series of 11 total launches to build a space station. Scott Ritter, former UN weapons inspector in Iraq, returns to discuss an International Rescue Committee report detailing the most pressing humanitarian crises of 2020. Not surprisingly, the most disastrous and pressing issues are all directly related to US wars and regime-change efforts. Yemen, Afghanistan and Syria top the list, as suffering from disease, violence and US economic sanctions are creating dire circumstances and costing tens of thousands of lives yearly.

She gave an update on the latest in the trial, which is entering a second day and is expected to last weeks, and discussed how a motion by Julian Assange's defense team to move the trial date so that they could deal with new accusations was denied. She said there was some mainstream media coverage of the trial's first day which she did not expect to last, but she said that she was heartened by the presence of hundreds of protesters who came out in support of Julian Assange. Taylor discussed implications of the trial on press freedom and the potentially dangerous precedent in such a case where English law seems to supersede international law. She also discussed the importance of the independent media in covering the Assange story. In the second hour, Garland and Shane were joined by Margaret Kimberley, who talked about the nationwide protests and the upcoming election. Margaret said she believes Joe Biden should be much further ahead right now, however she thinks he is a weak candidate and at the end of the day is effectively no different than Trump. Margaret discussed her own political journey beginning in the early 2000s and how she went from a more traditional Democrat to a Green and that this affected the way she saw the Obama administration. Margaret said she was concerned that too many progressives put too much faith in the electoral process and said she sees a need for movement politics and real-change activism. She said that she believes that establishment Democrats are trying to purge the ranks and will do so no matter what the outcome of the election is.In the third hour, Shane and Garland were joined by newsman Danny Max, and they discussed the record two million acres of wildfires currently burning in Southern California. He said this level of fires are unprecedented, particularly so early in the fire season. He also said that the concept of the fires has become heavily politicized, with Democrats saying the fires are caused by global warming, but he pointed out that many firefighters and others believe that there have not been enough controlled burns to stop the fires. He also said that the recent record temperatures in Los Angeles are only a couple of degrees cooler than the previous record but still significant and have contributed to the fires. They also discussed the role of lightning in the current fire epidemic and ended by discussing the additional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the fire situation.

On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" hosts Sean Blackmon and Jacquie Luqman are joined by Jim Kavanagh to talk about the latest debate in South Carolina, why Bloomberg may have too much political baggage for the Democratic establishment to give him the nomination at a brokered convention, how Elizabeth Warren may be portraying herself as the 'electable Bernie' to position herself to steal the show, which of the candidates truly believe what they're saying and which are in a constant state of 'triangulation,' what Pete Buttigieg's rejection of the "revolutionary politics of the '60s" reveals about his willingness to denigrate the civil rights movement, and how the generational gap among the Black constituency in South Carolina could shape the outcome of the primary there. In the second segment, Jacquie and Sean are joined by Taylor Hudak, a journalist, activist, and co-founder of Action 4 Assange, to talk about the latest in the UK extradition trial of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, the revelation that Assange was offered a pardon if he would provide the source of the DNC leaks and refused, how the myth that Wikileaks endangered American lives was exposed as fraudulent in today's court proceedings, whether Assange's defense will be able to convince the court that his trial is political in nature, and why his extradition to eastern Virginia would almost certainly mean life in prison for the journalist. In the third segment, Sean and Jacquie are joined by Brian Concannon, a human rights lawyer and executive director of Project Blueprint, to talk about his latest article in Salon, "It's Time for Candidates to Address the Bipartisan Root Causes of Our Immigration Crisis," why U.S. foreign policy is ultimately responsible for the economic devastation which pushes Central Americans and Mexicans to migrate, how climate change continues to exacerbate the conditions causing immigration, why so many U.S.-backed coups throughout Latin America seem to operate according to the same playbook, what the interrogation of Bernie Sanders for his support for Cuban literacy initiatives (and subsequent refusal to question any other candidates' support for Saudi Arabia) says about the state of public discourse, how the ruling class works to reduce cost by suppressing wages not just here in the U.S. but all across the world, and whether Bolivian Pres. Evo Morales' support for unions factored into the U.S. government's decision to immediately recognize the military regime which overthrew him.Later in the show, Jacquie and Sean are joined by Mondale Robinson, founder of the Black Male Voter Project, to talk about what differentiates the remaining contenders for the Democratic nomination, to what extent the divide between pro- and anti-establishment segments of the Black community is a generational issue, how the 'myth of time' has been used to perpetuate faith in the two-party system, what prompted last night's attempts by white candidates to pander to Black voters and why it seemed so patronizing, why conversations about the need to tweak the system tend to miss the forest for the trees, why marginalized communities experience the worst impacts of climate change, whether the disappearance of reparations from public discourse is linked to the disappearance of non-white candidates from the race, why the Democratic party elites might risk stealing the nomination from Sanders even if it means the destruction of the party, why so many working people seem to be falling for Mike Bloomberg's slick public relations campaign, whether Bacon's Rebellion in 1619 may provide some historical context for the cross-racial working-class movement arising alongside the Sanders campaign, what explains the resurgence of red-baiting in the past week, and why the fear of rebellion seems to undergird so much of resistance to the movement around Sanders.
