Hello, nomads. We're going back in time a little bit when it felt like TellTale Games was pumping out new games and episodes every week. Some were better than others, but there was a random one that snuck in called The Wolf Among Us.While this game is light on gameplay, it is rich with great visuals, interesting characters, deep themes, and fun great performances of its characters. Are you as excited as we are for the sequel to this hidden gem?Stick around until Act 3 for a round of Movie 20 Questions.Safe travels, nomads.
2012 might have been the end of the world (supposedly) but in November of that year the dead would walk... into accolades. Telltale Games partnership with Robert Kirkman bore fruit in the form of their 1st season of The Walking Dead. A rare combination of storytelling, graphical action, and adding to the rich lore that would become the Walking Dead as a media empire. Join Joe and Mark as they break down one of the biggest video game hits of the last 10 years. The guys dissect everything from 2012 history to the game of the year's behind the scenes facts. With civilization at an end you might think that the time to be civilized is also over. However, the choices you make do not only have the power to change what happens to you, but the future of those see you make them...even if their future is filled with zombies. In this week's Side Stitches, Mark and Joe talk about Telltale game's The Walking Dead and how all the choices they've made changed the game's end...all 5+ times they've played it. October is here and the Beat of the Month crew is celebrating by playing some Zombie games! We look at some classic remakes with Resident Evil 1 and 3, zombie mode in Call of Duty, a more story based zombie game with Telltale Game's Walking Dead - and more! We also touch on some newer games like Resident Evil 8 and (while not a zombie game) the brand new Deathloop. As usual the crew has a large variety of games to talk about, so even if scary games aren't your thing we've got you covered. So sit back, protect your brain, and join us!
I'm just going to start this out very frank, we need to get another Back to the Future series game that is well done. If you guys remember, Telltale Games, made a. Back to the Future game in the past. And if we see a game with McFly from Back to the Future, I'm going to be tremendously excited there is so much they can do with this series. Yeah sure, it may not be a fighting series. It may not be your typical type of game, it may be a choice series like Telltale Games. However, I want to see one that goes through the movies completely. It doesn't just create another adventure that actually makes a great video game where you travel through that entire. Just amazing atmosphere. Back to the Future, and it's rare you get to do that I think back to the future is still a movie that's aged very well when you're looking at retro games. Sadly the Telltale Game is now a retro game, and you can play it on PC. At this point, some of the older systems, but with that being said, we got to get another Back to the Future game. Back to the feature has so many things that could do with it. And can you imagine being able to drive around and some extra quest, and the vehicle and pack to the future. It would be a lot of fun. Another reason why we need to get another Back to the Future is the story has to continue. It's a great game for extinction packs, if they went up the movie and then deviated over the some of the other parts of Back to the Future, it would make a huge difference and continue on the story without necessarily having to create a whole new movie. Now I don't think they should deviate completely from the story like they did in the Telltale Games. I think they should go on with the story, using next generation graphics, and it really be a fun game. And they could have like fun arcade games and back to the future because the game to where you're able to like fight off some of the guys who are trying to get Marty McFly because you can have cowboys. In this game, and so many other things, if we go into that movie, then you can have the bullies that you're trying to fight off at times, and back to the future. And there's so much you can do with time travel, as they can travel into other areas of time, that's just not related to this particular aspect of the series. So there's a lot they can do from an expansion standpoint, kind of like what they did with Assassin's Creed and being able to travel around in different periods of time, they could use micro missions to kind of do that they could even create a 2d platformer, to make it easier for them, for those types of missions to kind of get that 80s arcade feel to the game which would even add to that nostalgia feeling. Back to the Future. So, this is just a wishlist game, I guess you could say, but another back in the future game. Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to create a legit Back to the Future game. That is good. That brings in all the elements of this nostalgic franchise, and to me it's almost like Star Wars, when it comes to movie franchises, and it'd be great to be able to see a franchise, like this on the PS five or Xbox series X. And I think you all would agree to. One thing I did notice that was kind of interesting, the sound is really good so for those movies still. So make sure you wear headphones when you listen to the movie and you'll hear the 3d sound effects. They've done a really good job it's aged very well. So this is kind of what got me started on we need another back future game --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/nextgengame/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/nextgengame/support
