We're taking a break this week and next, so we're taking this time to look back on our show. Dark Nights: Metal has been the worst comic book we've read right up until last episode's Mystery Science Theater, so we're going to revisit what we said about that book. I've learned that we've come a long way in terms of audio quality since then... Enjoy! Original write-up: *On this episode, we talk a bit about video games and a lot about comic books. Dave is playing the Telltale Batman game and The Evil Within 2. I briefly started playing the new PS4 Spider-Man game and tried out the demo for Mega Man 11. The books this week are Carnage Vol. 1: The One That Got Away, Defenders Vol. 2: Kingpins of New York, Saga Vol. 3, and Dark Nights: Metal. Half of them are not good. Big announcement this episode! We've decided to do these comic book shows every week. New episodes every Friday! For these weekly episodes, Dave and I will each choose a book to read. I picked The Flintstones Vol. 1 from DC Comics and Dave picked X-Men: Red Vol. 1: The Hate Machine. Lastly, friend of the show and repeat guest, Chris, and his family are going through some stuff, so if you can help them out, please see their GoFundMe page. Thanks to Daniel Burbank for our intro music. If you would like to suggest a comic for us to read or get in touch with the show in general, you can email us at ghbtpodcast@gmail.com or contact us using any of the links below: Twitter Facebook Dave Donny Patreon*

Way back in the halcyon days of our first episode, we reviewed Batman: Year One. And in that very first episode nearly two years ago, we made a goof that our 52nd episode would revisit the caped crusader for Batman: Zero Year. We are nothing if not commited to a goof, but little did we know that we would revisit The Batman (TM) so many, many, MANY times between our first and fifty-second episode. So welcome to the last Batisode we will be doing for a while, Batman: Zero Year.In this iteration Bruce Wayne is kind of a boring jerk, Commissioner Gordon is kind of a boring jerk, and Alfred is, well, actually a pretty decent dude. How does it hold up to Year One? Find out on this exciting episode of Inks & Issues! We also wanted to say a huge thank you to our Patrons and let you know we are only $5 away from hitting our first goal. After that is unlocked we will be streaming some comic book themed video games like the PS1 classic Spider-Man 2, NES era Superman/Batman, and modern stuff like the Telltale Batman series. On this episode of Confessions of a Basement Dweller, host Jake Essoe reviews Telltale Batman: The Enemy Within, Ep 2 "The Pact". The death of a villain at the hands of a mysterious assassin was just the beginning. As explosions rock Gotham City, Batman races to meet a new foe, but encounters a force that may cause even the Dark Knight to fall. In the guise of the billionaire, Bruce meets John Doe's 'friends' and becomes enmeshed in a plot where the only way out is to go deeper in. But at what cost? Episode two, 'The Pact,' is now available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac. In addition, both episode one and two are now available for iOS and Android-based devices. Episode one is free for all mobile players, and going forward, new episodes will launch the same day on all platforms. For more game, tv, movie reviews visit www.thehmcnetwork.com

Welcome to another episode of the Brocken Clock Podcasts Gamescast, it's Adam and Joe again to talk about the week in video games. It starts off as always with what games we've been playing, and while Joe has been running through Cuphead, and claiming it's not THAT hard, Adam travelled to a galaxy far, far, away for the beta to Star Wars Battlefront II. In place of the big news segment, we recap the 2017 Nintendo World Championships, which was a ver long but pretty fun stream, which showed off games old, new, and obscure. The Lightning Round/Not Lightning Round features thoughts on a whole mess of recent DLC controversy, a live action Sonic film nobody wants, or asked for. Plus a real dead body in Telltale Batman, and online backlash to a Wolfenstein 2 tweet. Dont forget to like and subscribe, and follow us on Twitter @BrokenClockPods
Its another thing for you to listen about. Firstly we got the news, breaking down the slow news that is Gamescom. Next Scott's still trying to get good in Injustice and he played the Telltale Guardians game. Rob got into the Telltale Batman season 2 and is still Eve'ing. Connor can't put PUBG down, he also played Guardians, and he tried out the Destiny 2 PC Beta. Lastly Connor regales us with the timeless tale of Iron Man 2. You know, that one. Listen, byeeee. It's a Triple Beach weekend! This week the boys, joined by the incomparable David Lincoln Mann, visited Astoria, OR on the brackish waters of the mouth of the mighty Columbia River. There they took in the sites, sounds and sustenance of the Buoy Beer Company. Then they grabbed some ice cream, played some video games, checked out some comic books and bought some toys at the ARC Arcade. From there they went south and got in a little beach time at Fort Stevens and spent the rest of the evening further southward still at scenic Seaside, OR just in time to take down a couple of freshly dipped corn dogs at the Pronto Pup. This episode we're talking a ton of Star Wars; Rogue One, Rebels and more. We're talking Seahawks, The Night Of, Mr. Robot, Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience, Outcast, Suicide Squad, Transformers: The Movie, Mr Robot, Breaking Bad, Preacher, Halt & Catch Fire, The Get Down, No Man's Sky, Telltale Batman, we got some comic news, Chase takes a quick call from his dad and we discuss whether or not Chase believes aliens exist. So, it’s been another week in video games and there are some things to discuss like Sony setting a date for a special event, which probably is the reveal of the PS NEO. The Xbox One S causes some issues in Europe, Nintendo has to deal with fan made games, but at least they have another third party into making games for NX, and much more. Sean discusses his time with Telltale’s Batman episode 1, Marc talks about Headlander too. Marc does have No Man’s Sky ordered, so hopefully on next week’s show, we can have a nice discussion about one of the big releases of 2016.

Another week in Video Games and at least one thing remains consistent, there’s something Pokemon related to talk about. Not only have Nintendo revealed more information about new things that will be in Pokemon Sun and Moon, but Pokemon Go has people enraged too. One man even filed a lawsuit against Niantic because he doesn’t like people invading his private property. There’s also Telltale’s Batman having some issues with framerate and maybe not being the big hit many expected either. Final Fantasy is getting a season pass, Ubisoft announces “Just Sing,” MTV creates a MTV Classic channel, and there could even be a Star Wars TV series on the horizon too. So, join Sean and Marc as they navigate through the gaming week, much like everyone else, without the use of a nearby “Three Step” mechanism.

On this episode, we talk a bit about video games and a lot about comic books. Lastly, friend of the show and repeat guest, Chris, and his family are going through some stuff, so if you can help them out, please see their [GoFundMe page](https://www.gofundme.com/tricia039s-fight-with-cancer). Thanks to [Daniel Burbank](http://soundcloud.com/danielburbank) for our intro music. If you would like to suggest a comic for us to read or get in touch with the show in general, you can email us at ghbtpodcast@gmail.com or contact us using any of the links below: [Twitter](http://twitter.com/GiraffesHBTPod) [Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/GiraffesHBTPod/) [Dave](http://twitter.com/DSTEWtheGOD) [Donny](http://twitter.com/DLevandowski) [Patreon](http://patreon.com/giraffeshaveblacktongues)
