For as long as I can remember- I have felt things deeply. I mean- I don't have little passing feelings- I have big, deep strong feelings that rattle my soul. I have strong reactions to things and a mind that often will not stop. I have a tiger that roars in my chest- and for most of my life, I believed it was a curse. I have been the walking definition of "High Strung" every day that I have lived- and it often caused me great pain, loss, and grief. But about a decade ago- God began a surprising and powerful work in my life that started with a fuzzy old VHS tape of me at 3 years old. One cannot have the ability to communicate without assistance and likewise individuals such as myself can be very articulate, however we are all classified as being autistic.
