Transformers toylines may be getting rid of numbering, but the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is here to deliver episode 363. Discussion starts with some very brief Transformers One talk now that the movie is available on digital services. Leaked images of what appears to be Prima from the upcoming Age of the Primes toyline keeps the conversation going before the excitement ebbs during talk of the recently revealed Studio Series Deluxe Optimus Prime, sporting a design inspired by the Transformers Devastation video game. Changes in the theming, packaging, and overall branding of the Studio Series line provides material for a lengthy discussion about what the line really means for consumers anymore. The limited recurring "40 for 40" segment re-visits the tumultuous year of 2020 before the regular "Bragging Rights" segment brings the episode to a close.

WV Uncommonplace Podcats, hosted by Jr Sparrow, takes a deep-dive into the gaming industry and explores the reasons why popular companies in the market no longer make licensed games. In this podcast, Jr takes a closer look at Activision, who used to produce and license many successful games in the 2000s but stopped in 2013, leaving listeners to wonder why they discontinued production. Some of their popular games included Transformers: Devastation, Spiderman: Web of Shadows, and Deadpool. It is revealed that the poor quality of games and lack of success in the licensing department led to them getting rid of their licenses, making the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game the only game that seemed to do well. It is also mentioned that despite Activision's focus on their successful Call of Duty series, they have decided to double down on this single property and have raised their game prices. This may potentially be due to the lack of creative Marvel and Crash Bandicoot games. At the conclusion of the podcast, Jr Ravens asks Activision why they have stopped making licensed games and instead focus on games with DLC and micro transactions. He believes this generation lacks knowledge of these games and that Activision should re-introduce these complete games to fans and make them fall in love with gaming again. Listeners should get ready to enter a world of gaming analysis and gain an understanding of the licensed games industry. Activision is one of the oldest and most well-known video game publishers in the industry, and over the years they have released a wide range of licensed games based on popular franchises from movies, TV shows, and other media. Here are some of the most notable examples of Activision's licensed games throughout their history: "Ghostbusters" (1984) - One of Activision's earliest licensed games was based on the popular movie franchise "Ghostbusters." The game was released for a variety of platforms, including the Atari 2600, Commodore 64, and NES. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1989) - Activision published several games based on the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" franchise throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, including the popular NES game "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game." "Spider-Man" (2000) - This game, developed by Neversoft, was one of the first truly successful licensed superhero games. It was praised for its faithful depiction of the Spider-Man character and his world, as well as its innovative web-slinging mechanics. "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" (1999) - While not technically a licensed game, "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" was heavily influenced by the skateboarding subculture that had been popularized in movies and TV shows. The game was a huge success and spawned numerous sequels. "Call of Duty" (2003) - Although not a licensed game in the traditional sense, the "Call of Duty" franchise is often based on real-world conflicts and historical events. The series has become one of the biggest and most successful video game franchises of all time. "Transformers" (2007) - Based on the popular toy and cartoon franchise, "Transformers" was a third-person shooter that allowed players to control giant transforming robots in battle. The game was praised for its faithful depiction of the Transformers characters and world. "Skylanders" (2011) - This franchise, which featured a series of toy figures that could be placed on a portal and brought to life in a video game, was a massive success for Activision. It spawned multiple sequels and spinoffs and helped popularize the "toys-to-life" genre. These are just a few examples of Activision's long history of licensed games. Other notable franchises that Activision has worked on include "X-Men," "James Bond," "Guitar Hero," "Star Trek," and "The Walking Dead," among many others. According to the Playcast crew, they've knocked it out of the park with their January and February game picks this year. So, how did their March game fair? In this month's Playcast, Rich (singlebanana), Shawn (GrayGhost81) and returning guest, Retro Fandango's own, Kevin (BuriedOnMars) discuss the nostalgia driven, hack 'n slash brawler Transformers: Devastation, which appeared on various 7th and 8th generation consoles. Not only do the guys review the game, but they also discuss the impact the Transformers animated series and toy-line had on their adolescence, including a very special segment dedicated to Transformers: The Movie. Is this game worth playing, or is it merely an effort to loose our purse strings with G1 nostalgia? If you're a fan of Transformers, then you definitely will not want to miss this episode of the RF Generation Playcast! Our 50th episode is only two shows away and we want YOU to send us an audio roast! Congrats, well wishes, and cheap shots are all welcome. Audio should be limited to under 2 minutes, so if you're interested, please contact singlebanana to find out how to send in your piece. As always, we are happy to hear your thoughts on this game on our discussion page (linked below). We will respond to your comments and are always happy to discuss the game more. We hope you enjoy our show. Please be sure to rate and write a review of the show on iTunes to help us increase our listenership. Thanks for the listen!

*Time code : Transformers Devastation (07min 48sec) Jotun (51min 14sec) Les p'tites cartouches ( 1h 31min 24sec) Back en 2014 ( 1h 51min 31 sec) Rubrique mystère ( 2h 21min 43sec) l'Edi-tard ( 2h 32min 06sec)*

To self-destruct", y vomitamos nuestras opiniones al respecto.

It's all hands on deck, with Ben, Leo, Tano, Shane and Steve talking about myriad new games this week. Said games include Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, NBA Live 16, NBA 2K16, the Star Wars: Battlefront beta, Transformers: Devastation and PES 2016. Ben took on Steve duties for 'Is Steve Wright or Steve Wrong', and this week's focus is on Uncharted. Remember to post comments here (or on MMGN...), or take to social media using the #friendlyfireshow hashtag to let us know what you think of our awesome show. We're big fans of Halloween around these parts, so this week's show kicks off a full month of horror-themed shows, starting safe and slow with five survival-horror games (seemingly) intended for children. Then it's time to talk about Transformers: Devastation, Super Meat Boy and Uncharted before providing half-informed analysis of the Star Citizen debacle and talking about your ideal video-game dance partners.
This week is Shark-tastic as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of JAWS, The green lighting of MEG at Warner Bros and King Shark may be in Suicide Squad with Aquaman. Plus, Michael Myers comes home in 2016 for better or worse. E3 Game time with Star Wars: Battlefront and Transformers: Devastation. The Hellavator is coming to GSN with the Soska Sisters, and a review for Son of Batman #1. All of this delivered with the same unprofessional tact and reckless humor anyone could ask for. So grab your snorkel and say farewell and adieu this week on The House of Gozer Podcast.
