EP84 - My mum's journey of weight loss - Christmas Special Since starting the podcast there has been one very special person I have wanted to have as a guest on the show. It's the same person who inspired the Weight Loss Warrior podcast and someone extremely important to me. Today I am proud and excited to introduce Pat Radley, my mum. The timing couldn't be any better. Last night I received a message to say that final 1 pound had gone and my mum was officially at target. After years of ups and downs, my mum has finally reached her goal and I couldn't be happier for her. For my mum, her challenges with her weight started after I was born. As a teenager and young adult she had been very active working in a hair salon and maintaining a slim figure, however after finding herself at home with a newborn baby, things became difficult. We talk about how having 3 children 4 years apart each time made weight loss a struggle, and how secret eating, lack of exercise and mental health played a part in my mums battle to keep her weight under control. She tried many diets over the years, some of which were successful in the short term but unsustainable so eventually failed when a more normal approach to eating resumed. We talk about how important being educated about nutrition is and that when you feel low and unable to reach your goal, it just feels easier seeking comfort being sat with a biscuit tin in front of the tele than facing the reality of what is making you unhappy. I had previously shared that it was my mum's admittence of feeling lonely between group weigh in sessions that inspired me to look for a way to help others get support on their journey and led to me creating the WLW Podcast. I felt a deep sense of pride being able to share the result of this with her and have the opportunity to celebrate her success and dedication to her own transformation. This episode has a lot of meaning attached to it for me, and I hope you enjoy it too. Thanks to my mum for allowing me to record and share this. Unfortunately she doesn't have Instagram yet so I can't tell you to follow her - but I'm sure she will be back on the show in the very near future to share how things are going.
Have you ever caught yourself saying, “I just have to lose this weight,” or “I have to get healthy”? Most people think this way when it comes to beginning their health journey and often have difficulty with success. Instead, we need to change our model of thinking and cultivate the present mindset of a “healthy” person. But how do we do that?In our latest podcast episode, we are joined again by one of our Zivli Coaches, Dr. Lydia Spirawk, where we define the Be-Do-Have Model. We explore practical ways to implement this model into your day-to-day life to achieve personal transformation. Highlights from this episode: • What is the Be-Do-Have model? • Why focusing on the “Have” first will hinder success. • Align your beliefs, mindset, and identity with your desired life.• Take inspired action to manifest your goals. • Strategies for setting clear, actionable goals and prioritizing tasks.• Achieving desired outcomes is a natural result of "Being" and "Doing."• Practical steps for changing limiting beliefs and cultivating a growth mindset.• How to create a Personal Faith Formula that embodies your Be-Do-Have intentions.Subscribe & ReviewSubscribing and leaving a rating and review are important factors in helping the Reshape Your Health Podcast and the YouTube Channel reach more people. EP83 - What to do when your diet fails Today I am hosting another special episode in which I delve into the mindset side of weight loss. This week I talk about what you can do to create success if this year has not gone well for you, and why it's so important to not give up. The truth is that you will know if 2023 has been the year you achieved your weight loss goals or not. It doesn't have to mean to completed your journey and reached your target, but did you make the progress you wanted to? If not, then this episode may help you to close the door on what could possibly be a feeling of failure, and an opportunity to look at the reasons it didn't go as well as you would have liked. I look at some strategies for understanding where it went wrong, and then things you can do to create a successful journey for yourself. EP82: The life changing benefits of overcoming sugar addiction - Nicky's Story **EPISODE CONTAINS SWEARING** Today I welcome the "No BS, life coach for working mums who want CALM instead of CHAOS", also known as Nicky Bevan to be my special guest on the Weight Loss Warrior Podcast. After receiving a lot of positive feedback from a few weeks ago in sharing a slightly different episode focusing on improving mindset, I am excited to be sharing our conversation with you all. Nicky has her own journey to share in which she lost 2 stone and overcame her addiction to sugar. On a weight loss journey we often focus so much on the calories, but not so much on the impact consuming sugar can have on our results. Not only did this change Nicky's life in terms of her health, it has become part of a much bigger journey that includes becoming a coach and now helping others to reach the same success as she has. Make sure you go and give Nicky a follow where she shares advice and support for anyone looking to make positive changes in their own life. Liv embarked on her weight loss journey earlier this year and has lost over 6 stone in that time. It's an incredible achievement and I am happy to welcome her to share her story. Liv is a mum of twin girls and that obviously keeps her extremely busy, but everything felt harder due to her weight. As if this wasn't enough, Liv shares the concerns of being a bad role model as her daughters grew up. This came to a head when Liv found herself deeply unhappy with her appearance and how this was starting to impact everyday life. Things like not wanting to go to social events, not taking photos and constantly thinking about her weight became overbearing. Liv signed up to Slimming World and never looked back. She embraced the plan and followed it carefully, allowing for steady and consisitent weight loss over the course of 6 months. I haven't had many guests from the bariatric community on the show so far, so it's always extremely interesting and insightful to learn more about this method of losing weight. I think for many who have no first hand experience with weight loss surgery (WLS), it can be viewed as an "easy" way to lose weight. This couldn't be further from the truth, and today Martin shares the reality of this procedure. I learn how Martin's life as a lorry driver created health issues for him, which combined with being overweight lead to serious risks. He said himself that if he hadn't of taken action when he did, he doubts he would be here today. We talk about the challenges being overweight can create, and how mental health can be impacted. Martin is open and honest about his struggles and it was extremely inspiring to hear how he far he has come in the last two years. EP 79 - How determination can change your life - Josie's journey ** IMPORTANT: This episode contains swearing - just for anyone who usually has their children around when listening! ** Today I am joined by the amazing Josie Marsden from Sydney, Australia. Josie transformed her life after some extremely difficult years as a young adult. After fleeing with her young daughter from an abusive relationship at age 20, Josie made a promise not to let anyone treat her in the same way again. The one struggle that continued throughout the healing process from such a traumatic experience was Josie's health. Josie found herself building the life she wanted for herself and her daughter, but unable to do so at a healthy weight. She began taking extreme measures, leading to disordered eating and putting her health at serious risk. Keen to make changes but overwhelmed from so much information being shared online offering the "best" weight loss methods and "must follow" diet plans, Josie began educating herself to learn exactly how she could lead a healthy and balanced life. This was the turning point for Josie and was the beginning of a transformation that would not only create a foundation for a healthy mind and body, but also the start of a career in nutrition, fitness and coaching. Josie is proof that no matter what happens in life, you always have an opportunity to make changes and create a better life for yourself. It may not be easy, in fact sometimes it can feel completely impossible but with some determination and support, you can achieve anything you would like. Josie follows a Flexible food approach to her diet, which personally I think ticks all the boxes in terms of finding balance, enjoying food without depriving yourself or feeling restricted and learning how you food needs to be fuelled at the same time. If you want to find out more about Josie, her life and the work she now does helping others as a coach, her Instagram is: @josiesflexiblefoods Thanks to Josie for being a great guest and I hope to welcome her back to the Weight Loss Warrior Podcast soon! When women wake up in the morning to start their days, after what they've considered a ‘slip up', too many women are looking at them wrong and unfortunately feel shame, guilt, failure and feelings of ‘giving up' (I was there in the past, so I get it!). But, slip ups are actually an important part of your weight loss journey, and I actually celebrate them for women in my programs! If you relate, I have 3 reasons to share with you today as to WHY slip ups are actually GOOD and normal on your weight loss journey and what you should do the next time you have one and feel any feelings of guilt or failure so that you can keep kicking on and reaching your goals - rather than staying in that start again/stop again cycle! EP72: Maintaining a 13 Stone weight loss when life "happens" - Catch up with Steve ** Please Note this episode contains a conversation discussing cancer ** Today I welcome Steve back to the WLW Podcast to talk about how he has continued to maintain his weight loss and how he navigates the challenges everyday life can throw at us. For anyone who has been with WLW since the beginning or has delved back to the earliest episodes, you will no doubt recognise Steve's Brummie accent. He was the star guest of episode number 2 (I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been referring to him as a "number 2" since then) and I welcome him back to hear what has been happening in his life since we aired his episode. It hasn't been the easiest year for Steve and I am full of admiration for the way he continues to find positives, help others and focus on moving forward. His resilience and strength is incredible and he is a true inspiration in every sense of the word. Something exciting we do discuss later in the episode is an amazing event taking place in July 2024 to raise money for charity. Steve is organising a group hike up Snowdon in Wales and EVERYONE is invited to join. The charity is called FAMILY FUND and supports families raising disabled, seriously ill children and young people who require financial help in order to cater to normal everyday things so many of us take for granted. Their main objective is: Giving grants to families on a low income for items they may not otherwise be able to afford. For example family breaks, digital equipment, white goods, clothing, bedding, furniture and play equipment. Offering services to help parents and carers to achieve the outcomes they want for their child and family. This includes where to go for support with money, benefits and budget planning, information on mental health and wellbeing. And practical workshops to help people get online and use digital tools. Providing ways for families to share their experiences, so they can influence lasting change on issues that matter to them. The challenge is open to anyone wanting to take part, regardless of whether you have completed a weight loss journey, are currently on one or haven't yet started (This could be a great goal to walk towards!). It doesn't matter which plan you follow or who you know, this event is open to all and is a great opportunity to meet others with a similar mindset and objective. If you would like more information, please send me an email: carl@weightlosswarriorpodcast.com Thanks to Steve (@its.steveslife on Instagram) for joining me today, as always it was an absolute pleasure speaking to him and I look forward to meeting him in Wales next year!

EP71 - Losing 8 stone and discovering confidence - Liv's story Today I welcome the amazing Liv to tell her story so far and how already she has benefited so much from changing her life. When Liv found herself in excruciating pain and was given a Gall Stone diagnosis, her hopes of being booked in for surgery to solve her worries evaporated when she was turned away from the hospital due to her weight. This triggered several emotions for Liv but ultimately gave her the courage to begin her weight loss journey. In this episode Liv explains the importance of changing your lifestyle, but in a way that is manageable for you. She advises anyone wanting to improve themselves to go at their own pace, not allowing others to push you into unrealistic objectives. At the beginning of her transformation, Liv found 5 minutes of walking to be her limit however she set out in competition against herself, aiming to remain consistent and improve over time. During her journey so far, Liv has lost over 8 stone by tracking her calories and ensuring she remained in a calorie deficit. This allowed her to still eat without restricting certain food items, providing she stayed within her calorie limit for the day. We also talk about plateaus, and how recently Liv is facing the challenge of setting new goals to ensure her progress continues. This is something I can relate to and am sure many of you listening will also. If you would like to follow Liv's progress and support her on her journey to lose the weight she needs to have surgery, her Instagram account is: @caloriecountingwith_liv You can also find Liv along with many other Weight Loss Warriors in our WLW Tribe group on Facebook. EP70 - Wanting to be a healthy, happy mum - Claire's Weight Loss Success Story When Claire said she had been worried about being an embarrassment to her son, I could hear the worry in her voice at the prospect of it being true if she hadn't of decided to change her life. My special guest today found herself rationalising her declining health and weight gain after having a beautiful baby just before lockdown. Take-aways became a regular habit, needing clothes 2 sizes bigger and worsening Asthma meant that Claire had started on a path that was leading her to life of low self confidence and poor health. Like many of my guests, Claire reached a point where she was concerned for her future and fed up with being overweight. It was impacting her self esteem and ability to do the normal daily activities a young mum would need to be doing. After phoning her mum for support. Claire discovered Slimming World and attended her first session. "Being in the group just felt like a nice, big, warm hug." Claire told me, smiling into the microphone as she remembered that first day. From there she went on to lose an incredible 3 stone and reclaimed her heath and self confidence. Claire shares other areas in which her life has improved including a new found love for fitness. I hear about "Clubbercise" which includes glow sticks, amazing music and dancing your way to a healthier body. Another major success in Claire's journey has been her decision to help others and become a Slimming World Consultant. In our conversation I hear about the process of Claire taking this step, encouraged by her Consultant Jane because she felt Claire would be a great leader to help others. You can read more about Claire's journey and see everything she is up to on her Instagram. Click here to follow her account - @claires_losingit. I'd like to thank Claire for being part of the show and officially becoming a Weight Loss Warrior!
We believe sustainable weight loss and better health occurs as 2 sides of the same coin. There's the strategy side, and the mindset side of the coin. The mindset side consists of your thoughts, emotions, and habits which manifest as your weight and health. You cannot master your physical state without also mastering your mental and emotional state. Your thoughts create your emotions, your emotions drive your actions, and your actions create your results. This lesson does a great job explaining one aspect of the mindset side of the weight loss coin - The Law of Attraction. This lesson is from Module 5 in our course where we teach you how to craft your Personal Faith Formula. This is like your master mindset document that keeps you focused and self-accountable - if you read it with intention every day. We are actually offering a private coaching call for each new Zivli member so that we can offer personalized support to craft this powerful document. When someone is on the fence about joining Zivli, a big thing that holds them back is fear. Common fears include missing out on social events, feeling hungry or restricted, feeling like a failure again if they don't lose weight or keep it off, fear of change, fear of what you'll have to “give up” and fear of judgment or criticism from others about your choices or how you spend your time. So much fear can arise when we are pursuing big goals! This lesson helps you better understand fear, and redefine it from something that keeps you stuck and scared, into a powerful agent for change.Subscribe & ReviewSubscribing and leaving a rating and review are important factors in helping the Reshape Your Health Podcast and the YouTube Channel reach more people. One of our favorite things to do is hear about Zivli member wins and success stories. When we hear of a great win in the community or Office Hours, we often reach out and ask that person if they'd be willing to share their story with our broader YouTube/Podcast community. We always love hearing more of their backstory and details. What made them successful in reaching their goals? What did they do differently than before? What is their thought process like? What's their daily routine? This week we're honored to share an interview with Tracy.Aside from looking and feeling amazing, Tracy also saw these results after she joined Zivli and put into practice what we teach: ✅ No more joint pain

EP65: How opting for a Fitness and Sobriety Lifestyle changed Jake's life Today I welcome Jake, a charming gentleman from just outside Newcastle to share his story of transformation. Jake and I first spoke at the start of the year and he explained to me he was on mission to lose weight and get healthy. We agreed there and then that when he was happy with the changes made and his progress, he would be a guest on the show. Well, he did exactly that and recently contacted me to share his amazing progress and achievement. I could sense his level of pride in reaching his objective and I couldn't wait to make him an official Weight Loss Warrior. During the episode we discuss the changes that Jake made, combining different elements from previous failed attempts at maintaining a healthier lifestyle. The key difference here has been that Jake was setting his sights on a long term and sustainable way of living, realising that fad diets and being too restrictive wouldn't last. Something I loved speaking about was the decision Jake made more recently to stop drinking alcohol. He shares his apprehension of doing this and why he felt it was important as part of his journey. I found that his experience is extremely common among many of us and am sure it will resinate with many listeners. Jake offered to answer any questions and would love you to follow his journey on Instagram. His account name is @jake_f_s_l Also, you can find Jake and many other Weight Loss Warriors who have appeared on the podcast in our WLW Tribe community on Facebook. My special guest today is Jo from Lakenheath and she has not only lost more than 3.5 Stone, but maintained her goal for 2 years. I hear how Jo had found herself feeling disheartened and unhappy with her weight after many months of not paying close enough attention to her health. Like so many of us, life circumstances that occur created a lifestyle that didn't serve Jo and resulted in a significant weight gain. Once her mind was made up to make some important changes in her life, Jo set about losing weight and reached her goal in August 2021. We discuss how Jo has been able to find a balanced life and set mini goals to allow herself to keep focused on the weight she feels best at without the constant feeling of being on a diet and the tricks she uses to stay in control. Being at a weight loss plateau can feel very frustrating, especially when you feel like you're doing everything in your power to get the scale to go down and it's not budging. While we don't want you to give the scale any of our emotional power, we do understand that you want to see some progress. Remember the scale is only one indicator of progress. Also consider your energy levels, how you're sleeping, how your clothes are fitting, and just celebrating the little consistent things you are doing for your health. All that being said, there are three types of weight loss plateaus that we'll explain today. Once you understand the type of plateau you're experiencing, you can tailor your strategy appropriately. Weight loss plateaus are completely normal on your weight loss journey. If you anticipate the stalls, they won't be as discouraging.Just like any other facet of medicine, you can only improve a condition if you have the correct diagnosis. A great example of this is treating low back pain. If you don't get to the root of the problem, you can spend months of time and money on physical therapy sessions, chiropractor appointments, or medications that don't make much of a difference. In the case of a weight loss stall, if your strategies don't match the type of plateau you have, you'll face similar frustration. There are three types - circumstantial, mental, or physical. Listen to this episode to learn more about how to break them.Subscribe & ReviewSubscribing and leaving a rating and review are important factors in helping the Reshape Your Health Podcast and the YouTube Channel reach more people. EP63: How Jonathan lost 21 stone and saved his life At his heaviest, Jonathan Hodgson from Barnsley weighed 40 Stone. He joins me today having lost an incredible 21 stone to share his incredible journey. What's special about this story is that it started by accident. Jonathan had written and deleted messages to a personal trainer multiple times, not able to find the courage to take that first step. Eventually, fate took control and a message reached his now coach and friend by complete accident. I hear how Jonathan created a persona of being the "big lad" and used this to make himself and those around him more comfortable, but on the inside he was living a life of embarassment, low confidence and a loss of hope for something better in his life. Being completely honest and when looking back at his situation, Jonathan admits that had he not have taken action when he did, he might not be here today. Luckily, and due to the twist of fate in sending a message to Pete at @barnsleybarbell - a journey that would quite literally save Jonathan's life from food addiction started. We talk about how it can be hard as a man to admit that you need help regarding weight loss and Jonathan and his coach are taking amazing steps to bring more awareness to this and encourage more men who want to lose weight to get started. On September 22 2023, they are hosting a live event in which Jonathan will share his story in full detail, along with a special Q&A and his coach sharing an important insight to how it's not too late to change your life. If you are interested in this event, click here to get full details. The WLW podcast is all about inviting real people to share their journey of self discovery and success. I love how Jonathan himself is a more "traditional" type of person, and so it was interesting to hear how his views about topics such as depression and mindset have changed during his journey. A special thanks to the "barnsley bomber" (Look out Tyson Fury) for sharing his special story and becoming our latest Weight Loss Warrior! EP62: How Johdi lost over 75lbs and started saying YES to new experiences My special guest today is Johdi from a beautiful part of the UK, Ribble Valley near Burnley. Johdi has lost an amazing 5.5 Stone (77lbs) during her weight loss journey and joins me to share how much happier she is for making the decision to transform her life. I know it can sound dramatic when we talk about "life changing" weight loss, but when you hear all the positive changes that come as a result of losing weight, you start to realise just how much better your quality of life can become. For Johdi, she explains how she now has the confidence to try new experiences and I love how she almost laughed in disbelief of herself when talking about going for a 10k run. I think when we find ourselves in a difficult situation and feel unhappy, it's so easy to begin to believe there is nothing better waiting for us and we should just accept our fate and struggle through life. When listening to this episode, you will hear how Johdi refused to accept that as her reality and how important it was to her to make positive changes to become a fitter and healthier mum for her son. Make sure you check Johdi's Intagram and follow her. Her account has a lot of really delicious meal ideas and you can see photos of her latest Magazine feature! Thanks Johdi for being our latest Weight Loss Warrior! Also don't forget you can join our Facebook community "Weight Loss Warrior Tribe" where Johdi, other Weight Loss Warriors and a growing community of amazing people on their own weight loss journey come together to support each other.
Are you tired of struggling with your weight and not seeing any results? Dr. Moleski talked about a patient who lost a whopping 18 pounds in just two months. Can you believe that? But here's the thing, medical weight loss isn't just for those looking to shed a significant amount of weight. Even if you're aiming to lose just 5 or 10 pounds, this approach can work wonders for you too. One of the things that really stood out to me was when Dr. Joe emphasized the importance of making lifestyle changes alongside the medical treatment. It's not just about popping a pill and expecting the pounds to magically disappear. It's about taking control of your health and making sustainable changes that will benefit you in the long run. EP61: How Sarah lost 19 stone (266 lbs) and her journey to maintain a healthy weight My special guest today has proved that weight loss plans can work, if you follow their plan. Having experienced success during her journey of losing 19 stone with Slimming World, Weight Watchers and Calorie Counting I have the pleasure of hearing how and why Sarah switched it up along with the pros and cons of each. After I finished our interview, I stopped and let it sink in just what an incredible achievement this was. I will be the first to admit that losing even a few pounds after a holiday can require determination and discipline, so to turn up for yourself week after week, month after month to lose 19 stone is simply incredible. Sarah shares the emotion of being able to buy clothes in high street shop for the first time and some other amazing changes she has experienced as part of becoming slimmer. We talk about confidence, health and how now Sarah feels she can live her life to the max. I also learn how Sarah has used a powerful shift in her own mindset to overcome emotional eating when a situation or person upsets her. I think it's a really powerful way to use the negative emotion to drive a positive result so urge you to try it if you find yourself in a similar situation I caught up with Sarah at a moment in her journey where she is just starting out with a Coach to help her adjust to her new life and maintain her weight loss. We talk about how after hitting her lowest weight, a lack of consistency led to regaining some back. This is something I believe so many people have an experience of and I feel it can often be related to not having that next objective, or perhaps even after so long of restricting yourself at some level, allowing that release of pressure. Sarah shares her story and lifestyle on both Instagram and Youtube, make sure you find out how she's getting on: Instagram: @Kiacsa Youtube Thank you to Sarah for being our latest Weight Loss Warrior and if you have any questions for her, join our free Facebook Group now and she will be there to answer you! EP60: 8 stone weight loss, managing PCOS and a few surprises along the way - Kayleigh's journey PLEASE BE AWARE: On this episode, we discuss the pain of miscarriage and I realise for some this could be upsetting. There are happy endings to this story but I'd like to give you the opportunity to decide in case this is something you may not want to listen to. There is literally so much to Kayleigh's journey it won't fit into a single episode title. In fact, we barely had time to cover everything during our conversation so I imagine this could even be the first of a two part success story. I absolutely loved talking to Kayleigh and hearing her journey. Having been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome at 19 years of age, Kayleigh had to manage the upset and pain of perhaps never having children. She describes how it completely rocked her view on the world and was another thing added to the sadness caused by being overweight, something she that had been a problem for her since childhood. During the episode Kayleigh shares how she found solace in her work and also lost weight due to how active she was. I don't want to give too much away as I feel Kayleigh tells her story much better than I could try to in a few sentences, but I will say that throughout the whole conversation I felt drawn to Kayleigh's resilience and strength, even at what could be considered the lowest points of her life on some occasions. As a result of her strength and determination not to give up, Kayleigh joins me more than 8 Stone down as part of her journey and is now a Slimming World Consultant herself. She dedicates her time to helping others transform their lives and does so from a place of experience and compassion, being able to identify with every member and wanting to see them succeed. Make sure you visit Kayleigh's Instagram by clicking here. Her account name is @klee_slimmingworld88 I won't lie, this was an emotional episode and even more so because Kayleigh shared parts of her story that resonated with me. The fact she is willing to talk about these topics openly as a way to help others is absolutely amazing and I have a lot of admiration for her. Thanks to Kayleigh for becoming a Weight Loss Warrior. In this weight loss mindset tip episode, you'll learn the most common emotional eating mistake and how to fix it. If you find yourself digging through the fridge even though you just had dinner, or going to the break room to find a snack just because you're bored or stressed at work, this episode is for you. One important thing to recognize is that this is not a quick fix. There are so many things that you can do to help with emotional eating. And if you're an action taker, you're probably already trying some of them. You can drink more water, eat more protein, eat more fiber, sleep more, reduce your stress, and choose tea instead of sweets in the afternoon or after dinner. While all of those things are beneficial, they still overlook the most important thing that you can do to reduce your emotional eating. This one thing is absolutely free, but it does require your attention and focus. It's an exercise that I'm going to take you through in this video. And if you don't do this mindset work, all of the strategies that I just mentioned about improving how you eat and sleep and de-stress will not be as effective.Subscribe & ReviewSubscribing and leaving a rating and review are important factors in helping the Reshape Your Health Podcast and the YouTube Channel reach more people. In today's weight loss mindset tip episode, we're talking about detaching your self-worth from the number on the scale. Anyone who's ever tried to lose weight has probably experienced attachment to their weight and a strong desire to see their hard work paying off on the scale. You wait for a “good day,” go to the bathroom, strip down to nothing, adjust your weight side to side on the scale all in hopes that you'll see the lowest possible number. Sound familiar? But what you may not recognize is that mental attachment to a number on the scale is actually counterproductive to long-term weight loss. This attachment could look like feeling really discouraged after stepping on the scale and not seeing any downward progress. It could look like seeing no change on the scale, and feeling frustrated because you're doing everything in your power to lose weight and nothing is happening. In fact, sometimes you gain a pound or two from last week and you think…“What's the point? Why am I doing this anyway?”Attachment can also manifest as behavior change when you do lose weight. One common mistake I see when people are losing weight or improving their health is…inadvertently raising their stress by using the word “need.”How many times a day do you have thoughts like… “I need to go to the gym” or “I need to meal prep.”You don't actually need to do anything. In fact, using the word need is counterproductive to your weight loss and health goals.
If you have a weight loss or health goal you're trying to reach and are struggling with impatience…this podcast is for you!
