Hey listeners, Today I want to introduce a good friend of mine, and purveyor of profound wisdom in the area of interior design, Diego Correa. It’s been an absolute privilege to get to know this guy through many years. There’s a lot of overlap between what I do and what Diego does. We both gear our expertise towards helping men gain confidence. If you have a room in your house with something a bit unique to it, a bit of character, that will give you confidence. Diego can take any space and optimally design it in order to communicate a message to those who are experiencing it, and he’s great at what he does. He’s definitely helped me over the years with his advice. I often recommended him to my clients. He’s taken on all types of projects, whether it’s residential or commercial, and at the moment he’s even working on a really unique hotel – but that’s all I’m allowed to say about that! In this podcast, you can take a few droplets of knowledge from his fountain of wisdom about the following subjects; - What factors lead Diego to working in the space of architectural and interior beauty - How easy it is to communicate your passions through your living space - His most ambitious project to date and how he overcame the challenge - What you can learn about designing your own home from the restaurant experience - The many similarities between the way we seduce a beautiful woman and the way a well-designed home can seduce your guests - Diego will explain his cornerstones of Look, Function, and Feel when creating a space - How we can tailor our space throughout the week to cater to very different needs or very different guests - The best way to harness fragrances in your space - Diego’s professional opinion on coloured lighting - How electronic personal assistants can aid in creating the right mood - The two biggest mistakes to avoid when creating a space - What his understanding of style and beauty in spaces has taught him about understanding people - What other areas of life Diego is passionate about - And much more I know you will get a lot out of this conversation, not only finding his insights interesting but also learning a thing or two about seduction through the design of your home. Hey listeners,   Not only is this week’s guest a fantastic entrepreneur, but also a good friend of mine, Richard Marshall.   Richard started his journey into barbering when he was just 12, sweeping the floor of the local barbers. By the age of 21, he was building a loyal clientele working just off Savile Row. At 28, Richard bought a small, unassuming shop just off Trafalgar Square. This would become the Pall Mall Barbers, a name now synonymous with high quality barber services and men’s grooming.   Pall Mall Barbers is the biggest independent barbers in London, with the most awards to its name than any other.   He has since expanded his business not just within London but internationally. He now has 6 shops in London, 1 in Birmingham and 1 in New York City.   Pall Mall Barbers even has its own award-winning line of men’s grooming products.   Richard may now be an international entrepreneur but he started from humble beginnings. We can all learn a lot from his story about starting, running, and expanding a business to help us overcome our own challenges in life.   Not only that, but his wisdom regarding men’s grooming built up over decades of experience is invaluable, and I was lucky enough to grab him for the show.   In this podcast, you’ll hear some incredible insights into the following areas:   - His personal journey from sweeping hair in a local barbers to owning the biggest independent barbers in London - The many difficulties of expanding a business internationally and how to overcome them - How business is different in London compared to New York City - The challenges faced by his business during the time of the pandemic and how a business can prepare and steel itself in times of crisis - How the pandemic has changed the rules of men’s grooming - Achieving a global brand - His wackiest request ever received from a client - How to choose the best products for you - Which items every man should have in his personal grooming kit - The secret of attracting consistent, good publicity - His love for MMA and UFC - Men’s mental health - Which royal paid a visit to one of Richard’s stores and why - Why sitting in the barber’s chair may double up as a therapy session - How to both cope and combat hair loss - And much more   I hope you got as much out of listening to this conversation as much as I got from being part of it.   For one-on-one, bespoke coaching that enhances both your dating and professional lives, look no further than my Impactful Connection workshops.   ————————————   My Impactful Connection workshops are a game-changer for anyone looking to build confidence. Dr Mo Mobasseri & Johnny Cassell - The Power Of Smiling - And How To Look After That Smile

Hey listeners, Today I have with me Dr. Mo Mobasseri, cosmetic dentist to the stars and Premier League and all-round great guy. When I visited his practice on Wimpole Street, I didn’t feel like I needed dental work. I sat down, and seven fillings later, it became clear that my smile wasn’t everything I thought it would be. Having studied dentistry in Germany in 2001, Dr. Mobasseri brought his talents to the UK - and we’ve been smiling better ever since. From Invisalign to Six-Month Smile to pretty much every cutting edge cosmetic dental procedure you can think of, he’s got plenty of plaques on his wall but leaves none on his patients’ gums. He’s an internationally renowned dental practitioner who is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the German Dental Association (DZAEK). Dr. Mobasseri also has a formidable reputation amongst TV personalities, celebrities, and footballers. So he distributes winning smiles in more ways than one;. Smiling is important. People judge you on how you smile and portray confidence when they meet you. Dental work has a stigma for being expensive and invasive, but that’s not the case anymore. If you feel insecurities about your smile, modern procedures are a lot gentler and more cost-effective than you might think. Teeth might seem like a minor or inconsequential part of your image, but I bet you check the mirror most days and pick out imperfections, wishing they would magically vanish. The miracle obviously never arrives - but you don’t have to invest much to make it happen yourself. I’m all about personal reinvention - good teeth and an impactful smile are part of the puzzle. We also discuss: - Growing up in Germany and his journey into dentistry - The power of smiling and collaborating in good feeling - Why smiles are linked to attraction - Smiles and Hollywood influence - Ways to make a massive transformation within 2 weeks - Why teeth don’t need to be perfect - just make you feel great - Why dentists have tried to come away from using veneers - How braces are becoming more discreet and the ways orthodontic treatment has improved over time - The link between dental treatment and addressing insecurities - The hygiene reasons to have straight teeth - The personal power of effecting change in people’s lives - Why projecting happiness makes a huge impact on others - How it’s very possible to brush too hard and wear away the gums - The psychological power of tooth brushing - and why it can be a problem And much more. Hey listeners, We have a treat for you this time around. I was honoured to host the eccentric and widely-loved business extraordinaire Ben Chai. I am all about self-improvement, both on my own terms and when helping my students develop their social acumen. On those grounds, it’s a no-brainer having a chat with Ben about his story. Ben is the self-styled “Dr. Who of Business” and has spent many, many years building multi-million-dollar businesses and coaching other people on how to reach the same peak. This man has absolutely owned who he is. Taking ownership, in turn, has brought expansive success to his diverse range of business operations that range from property, software, hospitality, and education to media, the written word, and security. He has appeared on documentaries and has a best-selling book called Social Magnetism. He’s had several TedX talks and also interviewed the likes of John Travolta and 50 Cent on his own TV show. Unbelievably, he acts in films on top of everything else and has shared the silver screen with Madonna and John Cleese, amongst others. Ben is a unique man of many talents, but he started out like many of you - insecure and stigmatised. In this podcast, I had a chat with Ben about the following parts of his life and approach: - His journey to stability and success - Living with the anxieties of racism and overcoming them - The important aspects of the university experience for abandoning pre-judgements - Achieving financial freedom by thirties - How to succeed at networking events - His secrets of success - The information hidden in the Bible about connecting with others and succeeding with business - How he went from middle management in IT to taking full ownership of his time - The power of learning lessons and getting over bullying in self-growth - How attitudes towards his race cost him opportunities in the workplace but taught him valuable lessons - Why you should surround yourself with people who celebrate your - achievements with you - Why he prefers it when things go wrong - Why passion and willingness to learn is the only thing needed to succeed - And much more I hope you got as much out of listening to this conversation as much as I got from being part of it. Laura Nunnery & Johnny Cassell - Understanding How Cyberbullies Think Is The Way To Stop The Cycle

Hey listeners, This is a long-anticipated episode with a friend and accomplished tech security professional Laura Nunnery. She locked in from San Francisco, one of the global hubs of technological progress, to enlighten me on the (non-confidential) aspects of the threats facing the 21st century. If you start out on Turbotax and the Facebook team before broadening your horizons across Zuckerberg’s whole family of apps, you’re a heavy hitter from the word go. And those were Laura’s first steps in an amazing career - she really is a leading light in the world of tech security, and she serves as a powerful role model for women who keep getting told they have a glass ceiling in the tech sector. Her priority is making people feel safe and keeping people’s information secure. The modern world has brought with it a surprising number of ways to cause psychological and material harm to people. However, a wide range of enterprising, bleeding-edge solutions have become available alongside these troubling new methods of bullying, manipulation, and terror. Laura is an authoritative voice in the changing communicational fabric of society. Her presence and experience on the show gives you guys a unique insight into how people are changing and how those unseen online string-pullers are also fighting to keep you safe. The conversation I had with Laura will be fascinating for people in the tech sector and female listeners who take inspiration from powerful women who’ll have a hand in building and protecting the future. Laura also dives deeper on the prevailing topics of today’s shifting tech landscape, including: - How to protect yourself against people who abuse technology - Examples of how cybersecurity protects people every day in very real ways - The power of cyberbullying, and what can be done to stop it - Talking to cyberbullies to envision product solutions - Why blocking isn’t always the answer - How Facebook’s complaint system really works - The different types of cyberbully, and how to handle each - The role machine learning plays in protecting people online - What a person can do if they’re on the receiving end of a pile-on from multiple users - Why fighting cyberbullying is important to her - Whether she thinks bullying is part of building a personality - Tackling suicide risk and the threat of self-harm on social media - The dangers of foreign governments meddling with data and social engineering - How to spot a fake propaganda account - The ways that terrorists recruit through social media And much, much more… I hope you enjoy spending the time spent listening to her viewpoint as much as I did. ———————————— My Impactful Connection workshops will help you reach your social and professional peak - and stay there. Dayle Best & Johnny Cassell - Do Looks Matter?

Play Episode Listen Later Jul 24, 2020 57:01

Hey guys, Today I’m bringing in my fellow colleague and style guru to talk about clothing, confidence, and creating a look. Dayle Best is one of the best personal stylists in London, and it’s always an honour getting to sit down and pick his brains about what makes people tick when it comes to picking clothes. Dayle is a former colleague of mine who has sat down with my clients and helped them redefine their personal brand for many years. He’s a top-tier stylist who helps men refine their image and define their look. But simply helping people buy new clothes isn’t his aim - instead, he gives them the skillset to come up with their own style and be self-sufficient in expressing themselves through what they wear. Dayle aims to take individuals on a journey through their confidence, which is why he plays a key role in my outfit. He grew up in Hackney in the Eighties, where style was king and played a huge role in dancing, music, and culture. After studying footwear at college, he began designing it himself. Dayle became attracted to creating clothes and looking a particular way without needing the means to do so. His mum taught him how to make various items of clothing, bringing patterns home from Woolworths (RIP) and learning how to play with them and move the designs around. While some people dismiss the idea of having a strong image as “shallow” or “surface level”, how you present yourself to the world is central to defining how people see you and the way you feel. In this week’s instalment, you’ll also learn about: - How he developed his passion for styling and designing - What he’s learning through working with people and helping them dress and accessorise - What the process looks like for placing yourself in someone else’s mindset - The importance of reference points and mood boards in compiling an image - His tips for wardrobe management - How to account for different body shapes in your dress sense, whatever size you are - Taking inspiration for your style from the world outside your window - The role that style plays in his projection of confidence - Why style is a woman’s language - and why knowing how to speak it is - important for generating attraction - Why styling is a good way to grab “me time” for yourself - How style is a relationship with your inner self - Why the garment doesn’t make the man - the image does - How men who are not traditionally attractive can step their game up via their wardrobe choices - Why style is not just about what you wear, but how you wear it And much, much more. ----------------------------------------------- Discover yourself through my Impactful Connection workshops and master your social life today. Welcome back, guys. I love talking to fascinating characters, and it’s better still when they agree to come onto my show and share their expertise with my listeners. It was, therefore, an unbridled pleasure to speak with Jack Nasher. He’s the bestselling author of “Convinced! How To Prove Your Competence And Win People Over” - an amazing read I got into over lockdown - and an amazing mentalist, negotiator, and lecturer. As a negotiation expert, Jack has high level endorsements from Harvard Business School and Aston Martin’s CEO, among others. He’s also a teacher, having both studied and taught at Oxford University. Jack currently teaches at Munich Business School and remains part of the faculty at Stanford University, as well as having experience with the European Court of Justice, the UN, and on Wall Street’s leading law firm. In short, he’s in the big leagues. He is also the acclaimed author of multiple bestsellers and has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the China Times, and Forbes. As a passion, he’s also a mentalist and magician who regularly performs at L.A.’s exclusive Magic Castle. Jack has made it his life’s work to understand the science around persuasion and manipulation. People who are after financial success, power, and confidence have a lot to gain from this episode. It’s a scientifically grounded, fascinating window into the workings of the human mind while people are using persuasive language. We live in uncertain times, so showing certainty and clarity when working with others can lend great authority to your actions. In this episode, we cover: - How he got started with negotiations through magic - The way table magic and card tricks help him with making cold approaches - Methods for getting really good at something - the relationship between mastery and practice - The power of making improvements - Being able to handle a “no” - how negotiation training helped - His upcoming mentalist collaborations - How to influence people - Why people’s impressions are irrational - and how to hack a first impression - The importance of presentation - His friend’s unpublished research on physical attractiveness - Why a negative impression is more powerful than a positive one - Understanding how physical attractiveness manipulates you in surprising ways - Why everything you do is a deliberate manipulation to make people like you - Why ethics don’t concern him when it comes to self-development And much, much more I hope Jack’s perspective gives you a window into your own success. ———————————— My virtual Impactful Connection workshops will dramatically boost your social game. Johnny Cassell and Jack McEvoy - The "Vikings" Actor Talks Us Through Overcoming Disappointment

Hey Listeners, This week, we’re taking a longboat all the way to helpful, confidence-building guidance with our guest Jack McEvoy. The approach of professional actors to their craft can teach people a lot about developing self, confidence, and a brand. A lesson I always impart to my students is about how to reframe their idea of rejection into a positive event. When you’re getting ready for a night out, getting in the right mindset is as important as it would be for a lead actor about to nail Hamlet’s major speech. You may know this Irish actor as Helgi the Lean from the hit Amazon show Vikings. At 26 years old, he’s only just making his mark on the world of drama, but he’s already had one hell of a journey and it’s not looking like he’s about to stop anytime soon. Aside from Vikings, his IMDB profile boasts feature films, such as South of Hope Street, The Rhythm Section, and End of Sentence, as well as the short film The Running Man. He’s also had extended stints in theatres across Ireland. As with socialising, there’s a huge emphasis on actors moving beyond the negative connotations of rejection. A successful acting career takes a lot of grit, positivity, talent, and a willingness to learn and grow. Those are all values I wholeheartedly champion, and I invited Jack to share his perspectives from a good few years in the TV and theatre industries. - The effects of escaping fast-paced city life on the mind and soul - How the role of Helgi came through for him on Vikings - The ways in which the wrestler Edge inspired him - How to be successful as an actor - What acting can teach you about confidence and rejection - The power of learning and the slow process of building self-esteem - How he overcame rejection in the early days of his acting career - Why applying for auditions, as with dating, is a numbers game - Why failure is a key driver of success - The importance of practicing a positive mindset on a daily basis - His tricks for getting in character, and how people can use the same techniques - What he’s like when he goes out - Why preparatory work on set or in the field can get you in the right mindset for listening Don’t spend your time dating waiting in the wings - become the star of your own show and build the confidence that accompanies such an achievement. ———————————— Find out about my Impactful Connection workshops for life-enhancing guidance that will help you master every element of your life. Captivating musicians have a powerful ability to connect directly to people’s souls. I was lucky enough to have Billy Lockett on as a guest, whose beautiful voice and musicianship are amongst the most engaging out there at the moment. There’s a lot to learn from the ins and outs of a musician’s journey to being heard. It was a privilege to have him share his story on the channel. Billy is a musician and writer operating at the peak of his powers. He also happens to be a great friend of mine. Billy has toured with ELO and, perhaps more impressively, is selling out his own tour dates across the UK and Europe. He also racks up 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify. On my recent adventure to L.A., he happened to be there at the same time. As I was departing on my flight home, he was performing on James Corden’s show. But Billy hasn’t had a breeze through the world of music. He’s faced up to addiction and even being signed to a label led to its own problems. He only fully started to enjoy the amazing life he’s built once he took ownership of who he was and developed some self-awareness about his potential for rebuilding. The same applies to your journey through dating - stagefright applies whatever the stage, and overcoming it is extremely empowering. Stagefright often stands in the way of talking to women, crushing job interviews, and having difficult but necessary conversations with friends. In our chat, Billy takes us through the following: - His experiences with stagefright and why it mainly only kicked in with smaller crowds - How he has progressed within his image - Communicating with audience - The balance between what you want to make and what others want to hear - His anxiety around auditions - His feelings around ending touring and beginning lockdown - Fighting labels to protect his musical identity - Why going independent made him successful - How to be happy while working flat out - His songwriting process - The struggles he has faced with substance use - The upsides of lockdown on psychological and physical health - The journey of recovery and its impact on his lifestyle and overall wellness - What steps he took to give up his bad habits I hope you can take as much inspiration from his story as you will his music. ———————————— Discover my Impactful Connection workshops for powerful core confidence and self-esteem training at www.johnnycassell.com/pua-training. How's it going, listeners? I’m very excited to introduce this week’s podcast guest. Contemporary artist Bradley Theodore came up in New York and Miami, starting in tech before making a significant imprint on the art world. He gave me an honest and compelling insight into how he overcame his doubts and naysayers to put himself at the cutting edge of art and visual imagery. He’s had some fantastic output over the last few years, including a collaboration with Rolls Royce, his own Puma clothing line, and work with Google Tilt and Moleskin. Not bad for a guy in whom nobody believed. Bradley is a massive advocate for self-belief and he explains in detail his approach to dealing with naysayers and haters. The great thing about Bradley is his insistence that art is universal and is everybody’s to enjoy. However, his savvy has meant that he makes a comfortable income from what he loves. You’ll learn some key aspects of monetising your passions. I’ve been inviting not only great businesspeople on this show but also nimble thinkers. You should always surround yourself with people who are more successful or intelligent, as you can learn from them and grow. My conversation with Bradley Theodore was no different. - Why everything is art, and everyone is an art person - How to overcome when others don’t believe in your vision - His journey through a lack of self-belief and blocking out external voices - A different route to building confidence - His tech background and how that influenced his art style - Ways to ignore the naysayers – and how one naysayer stopped him making $20 million - The power of decision making - An artist’s perspective on dating, and why society pushes the urge to get laid on us - Why you should never underestimate the power of Red Bull, coffee, and techno music - Learning to draw from Da Vinci’s textbook - Reconnecting with old friends during the lockdown During this lockdown, it’s more important than ever to stay motivated, follow ideas to their natural conclusion, and head full pelt towards building a spectacular life for yourself. He’s got a phenomenal story, and I’m genuinely grateful to him for swinging by the channel and having a chat with me. ———————————— Master your social snowball with my virtual Impactful Connection workshops. For years she lived a double life and now aspires to inspire other women that they can also thrive in their sexuality. Hey Guys I've just got back from a lovely Valentines weekend in the Cotswolds where I spent the weekend at De Vere Tortworth Court. I highly recommend an escape into the country side with your loved one especially if you live within the city. I've often said that living in a fast paced city such as London can certainly take the rhythm out of life. It's good to give yourself and your partner the experience of being together without distractions. I also booked a great cooking class at Daylesford cooking school which again is something that you can both enjoy together and at same time pick up some extra skills to impress each other in the kitchen. I guess the big news that most of you guys saw this week was the fantastic big feature I got on the front of The Times Magazine! Hi guys, I open up this episode sharing with you my most recent catch up with one of my mentorship clients. It's remarkable with what can happen when you really put the time and effort in. My client suffered a lot from being too much in his head due to his profession which involved a lot of technical analytics. What you learn from following my stuff is that in order to really take advantage of opportunity you have to be very present and responsive so for him this was going to be quite a journey. I'm not going to give it all away but let's just say he is really enjoying the benefits from the time spent with each other and is a completely changed man. A million miles away from the version of himself he once was that would procrastinate and pander on the 'what if's and 'buts'. He is now a man of action. I also share with you an important conversation I had on a recent consultation where a gent insisted that at the age of 43 has not had a single opportunity come his way... Now of course this is absolute nonsense. Take a listen to hear what I have to say about that. Your questions this week:

- What should I do when she’s say’s she’s busy when I arrange a date?
 - Do I still masturbate? - What is confidence? - How to use communication effectively and more clearly - Advice for showing up as your best self for a job interview - Where do you draw the line from being too nice and being too much of a douche? - How do you start an interesting conversation? - How do you stay in a long distance relationship for so long? - Is being short a disadvantage in the dating game? - Should you approach a girl even if you are not feeling good? - How to make a move on the girl at work - I often have problems with my anxiety how do I get started? - Do women like sex more than us? - The most important book you need to get in order to understand female sexuality - How to behave in a club if you feel awkward or nervous? Thanks again for listening and to those that contributed with their questions! Every Tuesday at 22:45 GMT on my instagram channel @LondonDatingCoach get your questions answered live.

Hi Guys Lots of coaching this week hence the shuffle around of the usual release date. One of the clients I was working with this week was a former Jehovah witness witness who escaped the cult several years ago. He was refereed from a previous client who just so happens to be his uncle that was also part of the same faith. After working with the uncle who is now happily married and also a proud father. He did the did the right thing and put my name forward to his nephew to help him make the necessary changes within his internal structure to allow him to have more enjoyable experiences with women and people in general. This is not the first time I have worked with individuals from the Jehovah witness faith - there have been many! What made this case quite interesting was the fact that he was actually sexually abused within the organisation from a more senior individual. The client had already began working through these issues later on in his life. Some of the actions I share with you within the podcast. If you have been a victim of sexual abuse myself and my team can help you regain and develop your core confidence. You are not alone in your journey. Topics covered this week: - My clients tips to bounce back from being sexually abused at a young age - What I think of speed dating - What to do if the lady comes on a bit too strong prior to the date - What’s my top 5 night-clubs to meet women for a guy coming from another country? - My thoughts on the ego - Whats my take on Brazil? - How to manage expectations from one an other in a relationship Whats my favourite city? - Have I ever found my self too intelligent for women to the extent that they find you weird? - What country have you had the most success in meeting women? - Can you mess up a conversation by being too logical? - With all the coaching and how busy I am, how do I fit in time for my own personal life? - What advise do I have for guys in the #metoo error? - What age was my youngest student? - How to have a deep and meaningful conversation Remember guys, every Tuesday at 22:45 GMT I go live to answer your questions on my instagram. Play Episode Listen Later Jul 4, 2019 48:24

Hi guys We had a fantastic workshop on Saturday that included a gent that flew over from Italy that had recently come out of a 20 year relationship with his former partner. The last time he had approached a woman outside of his relationship was when he was 18! During the programme we covered everything from having the correct mindset, removing any unwanted thoughts, communicating interest, staying away from the friend zone, getting a phone number and even taking someone on a date right there and then. It was an absolute joy to work with this individual and was amazing to experience him take a woman he had literally just met from the street straight into a date. After 20 years of not approaching and carrying negative emotions and beliefs from what his ex partner had told him such as "You'll never find anyone better than me" - This was a huge breakthrough for him. If you're curious about what you could get out of the experience then just take a moment to shoot me an email: info@johnnycassell.com and we'll take a closer look as to where you are on your journey. Your questions this week: - Where to find women that you are attracted to - How to show that you are angry in a relationship - How do you handle missing a woman? - How to deal with an alpha male in a group situation - What to do if after three dates there is still no intimacy? - How to beat the joker? - How to beat a guy who is a millionaire? - Do I think online dating has ruined the dating industry? - How to improve the idea you have of yourself? Remember every Tuesday 22:45 GMT over on my instagram. Get your questions answered live from myself. See you all next week! J
