Je vous invite à écouter Oana Juncu une "sorcière" qui a tant de convictions à partager. Oana se définit comme une "DJ  qui mixe des pratiques de Leadership, Business Agile, coaching et Intelligence Collective".Son parcours m'a paru emblématique du parcours de nombreuses femmes cadres qui cherchent à aligner leurs valeurs personnelles avec leur profession. Dans un premier temps, sa carrière dans le milieu masculin de l'informatique a été fulgurante. Mais, plus Oana montait dans la hiérarchie, plus elle s'interrogeait sur les injonctions contradictoires de la fonction de management. Dans un deuxième temps, elle a quitté la tech et s'est mise à son compte. Aujourd'hui, elle accompagne des organisations dans leur désir de transformation. En formant des hommes et des femmes au leadership, elle a constaté que les femmes cadres n'occupent qu'à 70 % la place qu'elles pourraient occuper. Elle a donc créé l'atelier « Ma place, ma voix”, à leur intention. Wie geht es einem da? Diese Frage wird Schauspieler Udo Wachtveitl, der Kommissar Franz Leitmayr spielt, jetzt immer häufiger gestellt. Kurz nach einem Tatort-Drehtag in den bayerischen Alpen kommt er zum Podcast-Gespräch in das Bürohochhaus der Süddeutschen Zeitung in Steinhausen. Er sei noch nie hier gewesen, sagt er. Today we're looking outside a very familiar topic, exploring brand building that strengthens a brand's equity today and sets it up for the future. We're joined for this all-marketing chat with marketing rockstar, fellow podcaster, Founder of unmtchd.brands and former Puma exec, Oana Leonte.Oana recently pivoted from a marketing career working to build some of the world's biggest brands, including WB, Paramount and Disney, to building her own brand. Armed with a big ambition to make marketing a better place for marketers and in bringing the magic back into marketing, and with the goal of helping marketers focus on the most required skills for the future.With marketers todays over-fixed on chasing hype and virality, the focus has become more on performance than on brand building, and away from what Oana says is the real job of marketers. Equally, Oana believes senior business leaders and CMOs need to hear more from the every day humans they are creating and marketing for. After all, if we still believe that the consumer is the ultimate boss, then they should be not just represented in data but heard with their own voice. Oana highlights how important this is not just to understand behaviors being exhibited today but in foreseeing how those behaviors are likely to evolve. In guiding brands towards futures that they can play a relevant role in, Jo and Oana also explore how culture shapes brands often without them realizing it, or indeed leveraging it. In the quest to protect the status quo, and keep up with past success, brands run the risk of making safe, predictable decisions that paralyze them in time. Who hasn't heard of the Honeymoon Period?   Follow along via video   Everyone in the Amazon industry has heard about the so-called "Honeymoon Period," and after years of crafting strategies around an observation (by Anthony Lee in 2015, which he himself, as a very smart man, denounced using scientific literature), it is time for us to try to get closer to the truth.   And that is why in the article, you will find references to 15 scientific papers and 2 patents on the A9 Algorithm - the one from 2022 and the updated one from November 2023.   Before anyone starts getting concerned about the latest patent update being from almost a year ago, know that semantic matching, BERT, and COSMO will be presented in the article (and Danny's video). The reason is simple: we have the baseline, and what gets added are layers. We met many times, so I was really happy when Oana Lungescu agreed to the following interview. She is the longest-serving NATO Spokesperson, from 2010 to 2023, and the first woman and first journalist to hold the post. And, as she said, she was also the first person from the wrong side of the Iron Curtain in this position. We talked about her career path from Ceausescu's Romania to BBC and the Alliance and also about the NATO summit in Washington DC, NATO's adaptation and the Russian war against Ukraine. A recent paper in the Journal of Possibility Studies argues that creativity is an essential skill for effective leadership and that creative leaders can motivate their teams more effectively and can handle novel challenges by being more flexible in going outside the typical routines. Key to this is the important role played by a leaders' creative identity and the recognitions that leaders can deliberately enact their creative identities in their roles, based on two ways to understand their creativity: as a way of thinking or as a personality type.Just as importantly, however, leaders need to be adaptive in their approach – both to leadership and to the cultures they encourage in the workplace.To discuss this further I am delighted to be joined by Dr Oana Velcu-LaitinenAbout our guest…Dr Oana Velcu-Laitinen is a researcher and consultant who works in the areas of creativity, change, innovation and well-being.Her focus is challenging the habitual thinking of leaders, researchers and other knowledge workers to bring positive change and breakthroughs to their workplaces and domains of knowledge.Oana has a published a number of papers and books, including “How to develop your creative identity at work”, published in October 2022.
