I watched roughly six hours of inauguration coverage on Fox News along with six hours on the PBS News Hour. I pulled quotes from both to show how a garbage propaganda network (Fox News) compared to a high quality nonpartisan news source. Stephanie Sy, of PBS, shares some great insight on Trump supporters. Brit Hume of Fox News created his own reality. PBS included experts and academics while Fox News trotted out its own employees. Fox News looked even more ridiculous than usual. The headline for today's podcast came from the lips of Brit Hume on Fox News, and if that doesn't set the table for the conversation today, maybe it was the handshake she charged towards Donald to give well past midway on the stage to pronounce her name correctly for him. He never said her name; he invoked Joe Biden several times, but never once said her name. George Chidi from The Atlanta Objective and Melita Easters, executive director at the Georgia WIN List join me today for some post-debate analysis. On the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, it's Melita - mother of a female Naval Academy graduate who was at Annapolis that day - who reminds us all the importance of global standing for our country. That's a noteworthy distinction to make the morning after the Vice President drew stark contrasts between she and President Biden's standing and what world leaders think of one Donald John Trump.
A crazy old man named Donald J. Trump called into the last night of Fox News' coverage of the DNC. When the first show hung up on him he called in to the next show - the worst comedy show on television. Jessica Tarlov broke down his meltdown. Jesse Watters made a racist statement about crime. Sean Hannity waited for a riot that never happened. Brit Hume referred to women who suffered sexual assault and serious pregnancy complications as “abortion speakers” Multiple Fox News hosts whined about how the Dems have treated Biden. Text and and let us know your thoughts on today's stories!Donald Trump spent this past weekend having a complete meltdown on Truth Social, complete with lies about his rally size on Saturday, fake AI images of Kamala Harris, and at one point he even fell for a fake video of Taylor Swift fans endorsing him to which he said "I accept." The man is not well, and he's not afraid to let the entire world know that he's suffering. Also, during an interview on Fox News this past weekend, Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance had a nervous breakdown when he was asked by host Shannon Bream about his, and the campaign's, horrible poll numbers. Vance insisted that these polls are actually just "fake polls" that the media is putting out to depress Republican voter turnout. The man is just as divorced from reality as Donald Trump is. And Lindsey Graham has been one of Donald Trump's closest allies ever since he had that change of heart 8 years ago. But even Graham can no longer deny the fact that Trump is running one of the worst and most pathetic campaigns that we've seen in modern history. During an interview a few days ago, Graham actually admitted that Trump is on a losing path right now and if he doesn't change courses, he has virtually no path to victory in November. Finally, Fox News host Brit Hume hit the Fox audience with a brutal reality check during a recent segment when he finally admitted - and tried to force them to understand - that America simply does not like Donald Trump and they never have. He barely escaped with a victory in 2016 and that was only because of the electoral college, but he can't bank on anything like that happening again. The man is deeply unpopular and his base needs to understand that.Subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date on all of Farron's content: https://www.youtube.com/FarronBalancedFollow Farron on social media!Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FarronBalanced/Twitter: https://twitter.com/farronbalancedInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/farronbalancedTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@farronbalanced?lang=en

Following the assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life in Pennsylvania, the former president is moving full steam ahead with his campaign as the Republican National Convention kicks off in Milwaukee. Trump started the convention Monday off with a bang, announcing his VP choice, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) – a controversial decision that promises handwringing around the globe. Brit Hume responded to an utterly funny and out of touch headline from Fox News. Hume claimed that one of the reasons that people are voting for Trump is memories of how he governed the country. Do you think that is the main reason people are voting for him? I don't. They stole the election and people want it back. We will go through some of the specific vote fraud cases where there were convictions and loom at the techniques that were used. We also spend a fair bit of time analyzing why people like Brit Hume cannot speak to what is actually happening.
