In this episode, we dive deep into the world of commodity trading with Stephane Bernhard, CEO/CIO of CAM Multi-Strat Asset Management. Drawing from his 30+ years of experience starting at Louis Dreyfus through commodity trading house ETG, Stephane shares how commodity trading has evolved from pure fundamental analysis to today's complex intersection of physical, financial, and systematic trading. The conversation explores the world of commodity houses and physical trading of commodities, before diving into CAM's unique approach to building a commodity-focused multi-strategy fund that bridges physical and financial markets. Stephane details their innovative risk management framework that gives commodity traders more flexibility than traditional pod shops while maintaining portfolio stability. You'll hear why VAR doesn't work for commodity risk management and how they've developed an anti-fragile approach to drawdown management.Throughout the discussion, Stephane weaves in fascinating historical perspective - from his early days in the Madrid sovereign debt crisis to parallels between the end of Bretton Woods and today's shifting monetary landscape. In today's episode, we'll talk all about helping ambitious entrepreneurs grow their wealth by trading commodities — with less time, less work, and a whole lot more fun.Candace Pendleton is not your typical day trader. She's a mother who struggled for years to provide for her family. Twenty years ago, she was married to a wonderful man, Bill, with the perfect family. They had two babies under the age of three and life felt perfect—until Bill was diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of 47. He passed away just 62 days later. The shock was nothing less than crippling. With very little money and no skills, the only thing Candace had left was the determination to never give up.A tiny ray of light appeared when she discovered day trading futures. Like every newbie, she took trading courses and began trading. But hope soon turned into disappointment. She lost more money than she ever made. Frustrated with the high-priced, over-hyped trading educators, Candace made two bold decisions:Never buy another high-priced courseCreate her own DANG trading systemShe combined everything she had learned and created a simple trading system. When she applied this new trading compilation to her own charts, she started hitting “home runs.” Even after testing it for thousands of chart hours, she still couldn't believe something could be so incredibly accurate. She began to wonder— “Will this system work for everyone else but me?” So, she started sharing the system with family and friends. And their results were no different. Candace received incredible responses from people. Inspired by their success, she launched 123EasyTrade.com.Today, she's living the life of her dreams. Her two kids are grown-up men, both happily married. More than anything else, Candace wants to make the same transformation available to everyone. She believes you, too, can start your journey toward achieving financial freedom by day trading futures—and you'll be excited to discover how simple it can be.Connect with Candace Here: YouTube- https://www.youtube.com/c/CommoditiesUniversityFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/candacependleton123/about/IG: https://www.instagram.com/commodities.university?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==LinkedIn- https://www.linkedin.com/company/commodities-university-trading/posts/?feedView=allWebsite-https://www.commoditiesuniversity.comGrab the freebie here: https://ebook.commoditiesuniversity.com===================================If you enjoyed this episode, remember to hit the like button and subscribe. The energy transition is complex. That complexity tends to be papered over with simplifications and beliefs, even myths, both within the sector and the broader public on both sides of the debate. Yet, to make the right investments and decisions as companies and societies, it requires careful analysis and ultimately managing the inherent trade-offs. In this episode, we zoom in on the reality of the energy transition, the science required and the competing philosophies. Our guest is Marco Raugei, Senior Lecturer and Researcher at Oxford Brooks University. He is an Environmental Scientist with a PhD in Chemical Sciences and lectures on energy systems and Life Cycle Assessments. Marco has spent his career researching the very energy systems, particularly in transportation, that drive our economies today and in those of the future.

Why and how has geopolitics and dollar weaponization changed the landscape? If there is a global run up in prices will energy keep pace with metals? What does all this mean for the trading sector and investors? In this episode I speak with Bill Gebhardt, founder of 10Dynamics.Bill spent the better part of his career as a discretionary energies trader, with roles at Koch Industries, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and Trailstone. In May 2020 he struck out on his own to co-found 10Dynamics.Given Bill's fundamental and discretionary background, it may come as a surprise that 10Dynamics runs a fully systematic process. This dichotomy serves as the foundation for much of our conversation, where Bill provides insight into where and how his discretionary background informs the systematic process, both from a signal and a risk management perspective. We discuss the types of signals 10Dynamics incorporates into their process, how their risk management system is designed to reflect Bill's experience managing discretionary traders, and how they've designed their operational risk management to allow them to trade intraday with a small team. Please enjoy my conversation with Bill Gebhardt.
