Support us at: buymeacoffee.com/2njb *** On October 7th, Dr. Eli David found himself uniquely poised as the right person in the right place at a pivotal moment. With an X account boasting over 750K followers—mostly conservative Europeans and Americans— he was already a force to be reckoned with, known for his provocative takes on AI, data, and the absurdities of the "WOKE" movement. But that day, everything changed, thrusting him into a new role overnight. Dr. Eli David is an AI expert, high-tech entrepreneur, and academic at Bar-Ilan University's Faculty of Computer Science, where he boasts over 50 academic publications. He's co-founded innovative companies like Deep Instinct, focused on cybersecurity, and Marpai Health, advancing AI-driven healthcare solutions. Before October 7th, his X account steered clear of Israel or its conflicts, captivating a global audience with tech insights and sharp commentary. Since that fateful day, he's emerged as Israel's leading advocate on X, leveraging a platform where his influence ranks second only to Elon Musk among entrepreneurs to confront anti-Israel narratives head-on. Today, we sit down with Dr. Eli David to unpack Israel's war in Gaza and explore what lies ahead. How does Trump's bold proposal—to clear Gaza of its people and have other states absorb them—hold up? Is it a feasible strategy or an unrealistic vision? What should Israel's current government do in response? We'll also dive into the stalled hostage deal—months in, with so many still captive, what must Israel do now to bring them home? Plus, with a new U.S. government taking shape, how might it reshape the region? And, of course, we'll touch on AI's future—could it transform the battlefield or the narrative itself? With his rare blend of tech insight and advocacy, Dr. David is here to break it all down. Let's get started. Dr. David's X account: https://x.com/DrEliDavid
It has been 489 days since the terrible attacks on October 7th in Israel and we had the chance to receive an update with the latest from Eli David, his brother Eveaytar is still being held hostage in Gaza. While Eli is in the U.S. he is spreading awareness and doing his part in pushing for change, pushing for safety with the remaining hostages. Since the new administration there has been releases but there is still more to be had and Eli gives us the latest and the perspective of his family and the many that still struggle up to this point!

Israeli AI expert Eli David says thanks to Trump's Abraham Accords, Israel got assistance from almost all Arab countries fending off Iran's massive attack. He says the greatness of Trump is that he's not only on the right side of moral issues, he expresses his opinion clearly and bravely. David says the fact that Iran dared to launch hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel is something that cannot be ignored. If it goes without a response, it will normalize this conduct. David says one of two things will happen. Either Israel completes the war with a decisive victory or Israel will cave under pressure from the West.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Eli David joins us live from Israel to talk about his brother who is being held hostage by Hamas.
Dr. Eli David joins Lou from Tel Aviv to discuss the Israeli war with Hamas. He says for the past two decades what Israel has done with Hamas is a bit like what Winston Churchill described. An appeaser is someone who feeds a crocodile hoping it will eat him last. Some hoped Hamas was really not a terror organization. And while they said they wanted to massacre Jews, no one believed them. We learned we should listen to our enemies and not interpret in our Liberal civilized world what we wanted to hear. Hamas has said for years they wanted to massacre Jews and that is exactly what they did. The Gaza Strip has a border with Egypt. Egypt could easily open the border and let the so called innocent civilian refugees flee into Egypt. They're not doing that. Why? Because these people, given the opportunity, would gladly slaughter Egyptians, too. David says they are not going to die like sheep like they did in the 40's. The entire nation has come together and the disagreements they had before are no longer relevant. The country has come together and everyone is behind the government. The entire nation is looking forward to dealing with the evil on their borders. Barak Shmuel, a young American-Israeli joins Lou from his home in Askelon, Israel. He describes how his life changed on Saturday morning when Hamas brutally attacked his country. The 17 year-old said it's scary but he's confident Israel will do whatever is necessary. They're fighting for their country and whatever needs to be done will be done. GUESTS: DR. Eli David started StartupBlink to identify the best places in the world for start-ups. Despite it's well publicized problems dealing with homelessness and sanitary conditions, San Francisco is still number one. Then comes New York City, despite the best efforts of Comrade diBlasio to destroy it. Coming up at number 3 is London, hardly anyone's idea of a start-up. Eli is an economist and uses a number of measurements to compile his report. Coming up quickly from behind is Beijing and Shanghai. Will they one day be number 1 and 2?

COVID-19 has driven a significant demand on real-time data analysis in cloud and edge environments but organizations are severely limited in their ability to achieve real-time analysis with AI, due to the current size and speed of deep neural networks. Dr. Eli David, a pioneering researcher in deep learning and neural networks and co-founder of DeepCube, has been working on solving this exact problem and believes the answer lies in rethinking the way we train deep learning models to more closely mirror the human brain’s early childhood development.

Most AI breakthroughs are driven by deep learning. However, current models and deployment methods suffer from significant limitations, like large energy and memory consumption, high costs, and hyper-specific hardware. Hardware advancements have gotten deep learning deployments this far, but for AI to meet its full potential, a software accelerator approach is required. Dr. Eli David, a pioneering researcher in deep learning and neural networks, has focused his research on the development of deep learning technologies that improve the real-world deployment of AI systems, and believes the key lies in software. Bringing his research to fruition, Eli has developed DeepCube, a software-based inference accelerator that can be deployed on top of existing hardware (CPU, GPU, ASIC) in both datacenters and edge devices to improve deep learning speed, efficiency, and memory drastically. For example, some of his results include: •Increasing the inference speed on a regular CPU to match and surpass that of a GPU, which costs several times more •Increasing the inference speed on a GPU to equal the performance of 10 GPUs
