In the early hours of January 14, 2024 the Department of Justice released its long-awaited election interference report against President-elect Donald Trump. It was a long and winding road to that moment—and one marked, ultimately, by justice delayed. In November 2022, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Jack Smith as special counsel to oversee criminal investigations by the Justice Department into former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election and his retention of classified documents. The two cases were brought in different jurisdictions—with charges for the classified documents case filed in Florida and the elections case in Washington, D.C. After false starts, the blockbuster Supreme Court ruling on July 1, 2024 that former President Trump is entitled to some immunity from criminal prosecution for actions taken to overturn the results of the 2020 election, and the subsequent re-election of Trump in November, Smith and the DOJ dropped both cases. (Publication of Smith's report regarding the documents case is delayed due to pending charges against co-conspirators.) Sklansky explains the transition from independent counsels to special counsels and highlights examples like the Mueller Report and investigations into Hunter Biden.(00:05:01) Chapter 2: Insights from Jack Smith's ReportThe conversation shifts to Jack Smith's report on Donald Trump. Karlan and Sklansky explore the evidence presented, its connection to the January 6th events, and the debates around releasing such reports. Karlan questions the timing of appointing a special counsel, given much was already public knowledge.(00:08:25) Chapter 3: Prosecution Outcomes and Future ImplicationsKarlan and Sklansky discuss the slow progress of Trump's investigation compared to other January 6th prosecutions. They also cover Trump's promise to pardon convicted January 6th defendants, the fate of unnamed co-conspirators, and the ethical questions surrounding Todd Blanche's involvement at the DOJ. (00:12:16) Chapter 4: Decisions and Legal Strategies in Trump's ProsecutionKarlan and Sklansky discuss the decision not to charge Donald Trump with insurrection, focusing instead on charges like fraud and voter suppression. They analyze why the special counsel avoided certain charges and the challenges of applying existing statutes to unprecedented events.(00:16:30) Chapter 5: The Supreme Court's Role and the Impact on ProsecutionThe conversation explores delays caused by the Supreme Court, including its handling of presidential immunity. Karlan and Sklansky explain how these rulings affected timelines and created legal ambiguities that could influence appeals and the overall process.(00:19:00) Chapter 6: Restoring Trust in Criminal Justice and DemocracyKarlan and Sklansky shift focus to broader implications for democracy, discussing how Trump's prosecutions might deepen distrust in institutions. They consider paths to reform, including bipartisan efforts to reinforce the rule of law and community policing. The episode concludes with reflections on lessons from past legal leaders and the enduring relevance of Robert Jackson's warnings about prosecutorial overreach.

Live from STUDIO G- in the heart of America- I'm STEVE GRUBER- saying the things you wish you could in polite company- fighting for you from the Foxhole of Freedom and defending this great nation every single day-- this is THE STEVE GRUBER SHOW! Here are 3 big things you need to know right now— Number One— A Bizarre attempt by an off duty airline pilot apparently tried to bring down a regional aircraft with more than 80 people on board—I will have that story for you—and the 83 counts of attempted murder— Number Two— Prosecutors from the DOJ that were involved in the Hunter Biden Investigation—are on the hot seat—facing tough questions on how they may have protected the son of the President— Number Three— Time to look at the big numbers of the day—and these are some important numbers that could have a big impact on what happens in the world over the next 12 months—when we arrive at November 5th 2024—and Election Day—and those are key numbers to keep in mind— First, new polling that for the first time in a credible poll includes all four candidates pulling national support—Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Robert F Kennedy Jr and Cornell West—there is a very clear leader—and it is Donald Trump—in fact the numbers must be a shock to the system of those that have campaigned against the 45th President for so long— And for those that thought RFK Jr would drain support for the former President—well—you have got your hands full now— The Harvard Harris poll shows Trump with a commanding 7 point lead over Joe Biden—41 percent to 34 percent—Kennedy is coming in strong at 21 percent and West sneaks in with a Field Goal on the board— Another poll from USA Today shows Trump and Biden tied—and the big difference is this—it shows the two tied at 37 percent—BUT it shows Kennedy at just 13 percent—which I do not believe by the way—RFK is going to pull around 20 points—and most of that is going to bleed Biden to death—politically speaking—and it's a problem that would not be cured by Gavin Newsome or Gretchen Whitmer—because—Trumps base is rock solid at about 40 points—and with each day of a stagnant economy, an open border and two wars we are footing the bills for—Biden gets less popular—and the campaign of RFK picks up those who cannot support the fading and mumbling President—BUT also will not vote for Trump— Today—the big number is Trump has better odds of winning than Joe Biden—and that number is getting stronger by the day too— And speaking of an important number—how about being number one? America First—that was the number Donald Trump was delivering to the first in the nation primary state of New Hampshire— And while he was focused on America First, the Administration is doing its level best to defend the jaw dropping amount of money that they are demanding for the wars in Ukraine, Israel and to support the collapsed southern border— Meanwhile—over in La-La land—we have news commentators that are so far gone they need to think about dialing the numbers that will get them in touch with mental health professionals— I mean it is shocking to see the number of national politicians that are blaming Israeli citizens for being murdered—about 1,500 so far and counting—for being murdered by terrorists from Hamas on October 7th— I wonder if Wallace will be equally certifiable when Iran directs Hezbollah to attack from the North out of Lebanon—which creates another number that is concerning— And the number of colleges and universities peddling the same filth—seems to have grown well beyond what it has ever been in the past—and that number is scary to say the least— And here is the number of Republicans running to be the next Speaker of the House—9—number 9 number 9 number 9—nevermind, go re-visit the White Album— But in the horse race of 9—there is not one clear front runner so far—and that means the House could be without a Speaker for 3 weeks or more— Which brings me to the scandals involving the entire Biden family—and the amount of money brought in—well its eye popping the number we learned already this week is $2.75 million in cash—that's what Joe Biden paid for his Rehoboth beach home in Delaware—incredible when you think he spent all of his years in public service—well he was apparently servicing his bank account too—which brings me to another number in the scandal—

The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 1: On Friday, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that he has appointed U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware David Weiss as Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation. At the conclusion of his press briefing, Garland was asked: "If Weiss had the authority he needed, why does he need to be a special counsel?” He refused to answer the question. FLASHBACK: In June 2023 Attorney General Merrick Garland told the press that U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware David Weiss has “more authority than a Special Counsel would have…he has complete authority.” If that were true, why has Garland decided to appoint Weiss as Special Counsel now? Appearing on Fox News following Merrick Garland's announcement, George Washington University Law School Professor Jonathan Turley noted that the Department of Justice waited to appoint a special counsel until after the statute of limitations had “run” on several “critical crimes.” Dr. Carrie Gress— Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and a scholar at the Institute for Human Ecology at the Catholic University of America—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss her new book, “The End of Woman: How Smashing the Patriarchy Has Destroyed Us.” It releases on August 15th and can be pre-ordered now: https://www.regnery.com/9781684514182/the-end-of-woman/

In this episode, Tudor is joined by Philadelphia radio host, RIch Zeoli. One of the key takeaways from the discussion was the existence of a uniparty system within our government. Rich and Tudor both agreed that there is a deep-rooted corruption within the system, with politicians on both sides of the aisle working together to protect their own interests. The Department of Justice reportedly sent a letter to Devon Archer, Hunter Biden's ex-business partner, requesting him to surrender to authorities for a 2018 securities fraud charge prior to testifying before Congress today. Did the DOJ try to stop Hunter Biden's ex-business associate from testifying about President Joe Biden's alleged bribery scheme? GOP House Rep. Matt Gaetz (FL) tweeted that every member of the DOJ, including Attorney General Merrick Garland, should be called before the House Judiciary Committee for "obstructing a congressional investigation" if Archer doesn't testify today. The Sekulow team discusses Archer's testimony about the Biden family and the potential Deep State interference. All this and more on today's show.
Megyn Kelly is joined for an exclusive interview by Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, the IRS whistleblowers speaking out about Hunter and Joe Biden, to talk about how they were treated by both parties at yesterday's Congressional hearing, why they were "disappointed" by the way they were treated by the Democrats and some GOP representatives, their backgrounds as a registered Democrat and Republican and the families they grew up in, accusations by some of political bias, the roadblocks they faced from their bosses and the Department of Justice while investigating Hunter Biden's finances and taxes, how these roadblocks were unique and different from past investigations, how the Hunter Biden laptop was verified by the FBI right away despite how its been reported, how the laptop story related to the IRS investigation, the relevance of the Hunter WhatsApp messages, the exact timeline of the investigation into Hunter Biden's finances and taxes, the importance of the April 2022 meeting revealing Hunter Biden tax "felonies" that were later ignored, how each agent was pushed out of the investigation, whether Attorney General Merrick Garland actually interfered with the IRS investigation into Hunter Biden, how Garland and Weiss have changed their stories over time, what's happened to both of them after they spoke out, and more.Follow The Megyn Kelly Show on all social platforms: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/MegynKellyTwitter: http://Twitter.com/MegynKellyShowInstagram: http://Instagram.com/MegynKellyShowFacebook: http://Facebook.com/MegynKellyShow Find out more information at: https://www.devilmaycaremedia.com/megynkellyshow
[00:30] U.S. Government Obstructed Itself in Hunter Biden Investigation (40 minutes) The House Oversight Committee hearing on the Hunter Biden investigation has revealed condemning new details about the Biden family's crimes. IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler divulged that the IRS was prevented from following leads about Joe Biden and the DOJ went against its own rules by not charging Hunter with a felony for tax fraud. While Joe Biden was vice president, the Biden crime family received millions of dollars in payments from foreign governments through shell companies. Despite these revelations, the mainstream media is trying to distract viewers with reports about Donald Trump as a racist rapist. [40:30] The Fruits of the Abundant Life (15 minutes) Through years of trial, God taught Herbert W. Armstrong the way to true joy and abundant living. Living that way of life produces true contentment and real fruits that will last forever.
A pair of IRS whistleblowers testified before the House Oversight Committee about alleged meddling in the Justice Department investigation of Hunter Biden. The president's son reached an agreement to plead guilty to two federal misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his taxes and agreed to abide by a set of conditions to avoid a separate felony gun possession charge. Two IRS whistleblowers claim that D.C. U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland both played a role in actively hampering an investigation into Hunter Biden, according to testimonies released by the House Ways and Means Committee last week. They allege that U.S. Attorney David Weiss attempted to bring charges against Hunter Biden in both Washington, D.C. and California but was denied by Justice Department officials. Though Garland has since come forward denying any allegations of political interference, House Republicans continue to investigate these claims -- with some, such as Texas Senator Ted Cruz, believing this could be grounds to impeach President Biden. On the Rundown, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) discusses the key takeaways from the whistleblowers' claims and why allegations like these continue to hinder many Americans' faith in the justice system. He also shares his thoughts on House Republicans' continued investigation into COVID origins. Political divisions in the United States continue to grow, as Democrats and Republicans in Congress experience increased tensions and Americans of differing political parties report having major difficulties engaging in civil discourse with each other. But a recent poll says that 67 percent of Americans say they are sick and tired of the division. Just last month, this newsletter covered the emergence of a whistleblower in the joint Justice Department-IRS investigation of President Joe Biden's son Hunter. The whistleblower was a career IRS criminal supervisory special agent who, according to his lawyer, could reveal "clear conflicts of interest" in the Biden investigation as well as "examples of preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected."
Actor Matthew Marsden and Claremont senior fellow Matthew Peterson join Sara to discuss the recent news that the IRS whistleblower was removed from his investigation into Hunter Biden and the Biden crime family. Did the DOJ retaliate against him for breaking ranks and blowing the whistle on a sitting president's son? During questioning, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) quoted a recent New York Times article documenting the Biden Administration ignoring multiple warnings that migrant children were being exploited for labor. Sen. Hawley stated that Sec. Mayorkas should resign for putting the lives of innocent children in danger. Unfortunately, Sen. Fetterman seemed unwell. 3:45pm- While appearing before a House Appropriations Committee, National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Lawrence Tabak said he believes COVID-19 originated via a zoonotic transfer that occurred naturally. Is it just us, or does he sound exactly like Frank Pentangeli from The Godfather Part II? “I don't know nothing about that!” 4:05pm- During a Homeland Security and Immigration hearing on Capitol Hill, Senator Rand Paul stated: “DHS even put out a video encouraging children to report their own family members to Facebook for disinformation if they challenged US government narratives on COVID-19. Does that not sound like something out of 1984? Does that not sound like something out of Stalin's Russia?” He went on to accuse the U.S. government of disseminating misinformation regarding COVID-19. 4:10pm- While appearing on Fox News with Laura Ingraham, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) accused Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of having facilitated “the biggest child trafficking ring in U.S. history.” 4:15pm- Rich continues to marvel over the similarities between National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Lawrence Tabak's answers to Congressional questions about the origins of COVID-19 and Frank Pentangeli's responses to a Senate investigation hearing in The Godfather Part II. 4:30pm- In an article on his Substack—The Disinformation Chronicle—Paul Thacker documents how Dr. Anthony Fauci and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) “created an earworm in the intelligence community with lyrics bent against a Chinese lab accident.” You can read the full article here: https://disinformationchronicle.substack.com/p/the-wuhan-road-show-forming-a-band 4:45pm- Netflix announces they will discontinue its DVD mailing business and will also begin to crack-down on password sharing. 5:05pm- The Drive at 5: Dr. Wilfred Reilly—Professor of Political Science at Kentucky State University & Author of “Taboo: 10 Facts You Can't Talk About”—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his most recent article on National Review, “We Need a Revenge of the Jocks.” Dr. Reilly writes, “Tennessee state representative Justin Pearson became famous as one of the so-called Tennessee Three, a small group of state lawmakers who led a mob into the legislative chamber during business hours. Pearson and another Justin (Jones), who disrupted the session with bullhorns, found themselves thrown out of the legislature (before being reinstated shortly thereafter). A bespectacled black dude known for his Afro hairdo and histrionic arm movements while speaking, Pearson always struck me as a Dollar General Malcolm X. But, the past few weeks have provided a deeper revelation about him: It's all an act.” Why are we incentivizing people to veer away from normalcy? Dr. Reilly argues, “[t]he focus of mainstream conservatism in the near term should be to re-normalize normalcy and to counter the institutions promoting division as a virtue.” You can read the full article right now: https://www.nationalreview.com/2023/04/we-need-a-revenge-of-the-jocks/?utm_source=recirc-desktop&utm_medium=homepage&utm_campaign=river&utm_content=featured-content-trending&utm_term=first 5:30pm- In a Wall Street Journal exclusive report, Aruna Viswanatha, Sadie Gurman, and C. Ryan Barber write, “[a]n IRS supervisor has told lawmakers he has information that suggests the Biden administration is improperly handling the criminal investigation into President Biden's son, Hunter Biden, and is seeking whistleblower protections… The supervisor has details that show ‘preferential treatment and politics improperly infecting decisions and protocols that would normally be followed by career law enforcement professionals in similar circumstances if the subject were not politically connected.'” You can read the full article here: https://www.wsj.com/articles/irs-whistleblower-says-u-s-is-mishandling-hunter-biden-probe-7cd127f2?mod=hp_lead_pos7 5:40pm- Matt reveals his favorite comedy of all time is “This is the End”—Rich yells at him, but then concedes he has never seen the film. 6:05pm- In bombshell testimony on Wednesday, John Sopko—the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR)—told the House Oversight Committee, “as I sit here today, I cannot assure this committee or the American taxpayer we are not currently funding the Taliban…Nor can I assure you that the Taliban are not diverting the money we are sending from the intended recipients, which are the poor Afghan people.” You can read more about the testimony here: https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/19/politics/afghanistan-congress-watchdog-hearing/index.html 6:30pm- While speaking in North Charleston, South Carolina as part of his Florida Blueprint tour, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated, “a man in a dress is not a woman.” 6:45pm- Last month, The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board documented a “strange house call” the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) made to independent journalist Matt Taibbi's home—unannounced “the same day Mr. Taibbi testified before the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.” The WSJ Editorial Board writes, “[t]he taxman left a note instructing Mr. Taibbi to call the IRS four days later. Mr. Taibbi was told in a call with the agent that both his 2018 and 2021 tax returns had been rejected…the curious timing of this visit, on the heels of the FTC demand that Twitter turn over names of journalists, raises questions about potential intimidation.” Today, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) confronted IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel about the aforementioned “visit” during a hearing on Capitol Hill. Chad gives a quick recap of Joe Biden's State of the Union speech yesterday. Unsurprisingly, the whole thing was nothing but nonsensical mumbling and lies. Luckily, a few courageous Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene called out Biden during his speech. It's time to abandon the false deity of decorum that has kept conservatives from calling out the ridiculous and corrupt acts of a government hell-bent on destroying the country. The Hunter Biden laptop hearing is under way, and it has been beautiful watching ex-Twitter employees like Yoel Roth squirm while being questioned. It's become quite clear we aren't only fighting Big Tech censorship, but also the FBI. America's enemy isn't coming from overseas; it's coming from within our own government.
