My intention this week to produce a joyous new episode further celebrating contraltos, was undermined by multiple deaths this past week in the musical world, including French pop icon Françoise Hardy, Swiss tenor Eric Tappy, American art song icon Paul Sperry, and R&B diva Angela Bofill, capped by the tragic demise of young Belgian coloratura soprano Jodie Devos of breast cancer at the age of only 35. The episode, thus, begins with brief musical excerpts from all of these recently departed artists. In the main episode, I spread the contralto net even wider than last time, focusing on low-voiced doyennes of popular song. We hear jazz singers (Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae); stars of stage, screen, and radio (Marlene Dietrich, Polly Bergen, Connee Boswell, Alice Faye, Lisa Kirk, Kate Smith); purveyors of the Blues (Bessie Smith, Bertice Reading); French cabaret singers (Damia, Barbara); fado, rebetika, and tango artists (Amália Rodrigues, Milva, Maria Bethânia, Sotiria Bellou); and late-20th century pop icons (Cher, Tina Turner, Karen Carpenter, Annie Lennox); with a few delightful surprises along the way. On today's show, we approach the news of the day through the prism of today's post modernism. I chose to go this route because of the first story today and that is the resignation of Uri Berliner from NPR in the face of the attacks her received from NPR's new CEO Katherine Maher. To show Berliner's comments were right on the nose about NPR and the vast majority of the Legacy/mainstream media, we only have to look a handful of comments Maher made over the last year or so. In an interview with the Atlantic Council, Maher says, as the CEO of Wikipedia, she “took a very active approach to disinformation” and coordinated her censorship efforts “through conversations with the government.” She literally says they had no idea about COVID19, yet somehow knew the only answers worth relaying had to come from Big Government. In that same interview, she said her “number one challenge” in her fight against ‘disinformation' is “the First Amendment in the United States.” She literally stated the Bill of Rights and freedom of speech were “a little bit tricky” when trying to censor information she believed to be incorrect or bad. During a separate TED talk, Maher revels her post modernism philosophy – truth is subjective and the pursuit of truth can get in the way of getting things done. This is astonishing, but explains why the Legacy/mainstream media has long since abandoned journalistic integrity in favor of looking for a narrative that provides the actions they want people to take. They want to shape narratives in an effort to shape behavior. Next we move to a break news story from Real Clear Investigation's Paul Sperry. In short, “the whistleblower who sparked Trump's first impeachment was deeply involved in the political maneuverings behind Biden-family business schemes in Ukraine that Trump wanted probed, newly obtained emails from former Vice President Biden's office reveal." I meant to comment on something yesterday, but delayed until today's show. Yes, the FBI has formally announced they are opening an investigation into the ship that hit the Francis Scott Key bridge. This does not mean it was a terrorist attack. This issue involves interstate commerce and would naturally fall to the FBI to investigate the determine what happened. Could it be a deliberate act? I already said on the day it happened, that I'm not ruling it out completely. I just don't see any facts that align with such a conclusion. As to other inconvenient facts, Leftists, since tax day, have been regurgitating the debunked lie that the Trump tax cuts only helped the top 1% of wage earners. It is a blatant lie and they know it is, but they present their argument in a way to fool most people. I remind everyone that even the New York Times in 2019 had to admit nearly everyone who paid income taxes benefited from the Trump Tax Cuts. House Republicans allege there is evidence suggesting then-Vice President Joe Biden derived financial benefit from his immediate family's foreign business dealings, and that those family members profited from their connection to the White House. Earlier this week, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson told reporters that he believes House Republicans have the votes necessary to initiate the inquiry. 3:30pm- During a press briefing on Wednesday, Fox News journalist Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre why President Joe Biden hasn't just pardoned his son Hunter, who has been accused of several tax evasion felonies as well as federal firearm charges. Jean-Pierre said that President Biden has no intention to pardon Hunter. 3:40pm- While speaking with the press on Capitol Hill, following Hunter Biden's refusal to testify before Congress despite a subpoena compelling him to do so, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) debated a reporter who bizarrely accused him of having no evidence to justify an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. 3:50pm- Addressing the House of Representatives on Wednesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) explained why a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden must occur immediately—citing suspicious business activity that may have ultimately led to Biden's enrichment. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, the case of Hunter Biden is straightforward tax evasion because Hunter did not pay any federal income taxes for 4 years, from 2017-2020. When he did file tax returns, Hunter knowingly filed false tax returns, and it is calculated that he owes $1.4 million in taxes. The Democrat media has a problem defending Hunter now because on one hand they say he cannot function properly because of addiction, but on the other hand you have over $30 million coming in from places like Burisma and China. President Biden will pardon his son whether he is re-elected or not because these are federal charges and he can do it even if he is not convicted yet. This should be another charge in the case of impeachment of Joe Biden, with the main reason being the violation of our immigration laws and violating his oath of office. Hunter Biden is the gold standard of people who you file under FARA for having influence from other countries and being a threat to national security. It is ridiculous to claim that Joe Biden did not know about Hunter's business activities, especially with his claim on video to fire the Ukrainian prosecutor. Also, Iran does not use the money they are getting from the Biden Administration to feed its people but instead uses it to fund terrorists like Hezbollah and Hamas. Joe Biden and Anthony Blinken have blood on their hands for setting the Middle East on fire causing suffering and death, and now are demanding Israel to have a ceasefire with Hamas by the end of the year. Biden and Blinken are doing the bidding of Iran by holding back Israel and also ignoring Iranian attacks on the American military in the area. In today's second hour, Dom welcomes Philadelphia mayoral candidate David Oh back onto the Dom Giordano Program to gather his thoughts on the collapse of I95 after a truck fire burned the huge highway from the bottom up. Today we open with news of the Treasury Department finally turning over the Suspicious Activity Reports from at least one bank to the House Oversight Committee investigating the Hunter Biden laptop. Those banking records are giving Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) the concrete trail that coincides with the emails from Hunter's laptop. In conjunction with their investigation, thanks to the work of journalist Paul Sperry, we also know the Biden Justice Department is being accused of hiding evidence of Biden-China corruption. Thanks to the chain of emails we do know about, coming from the Hunter Biden laptop, we are starting to piece together chains of evidence used to prosecute those who have had business dealing with the Biden Crime Family. The specific case referenced was the DOJ's prosecution of Patrick Ho who represented CEFC China Energy and funneled over $6 million dollars in payments to the Biden family. While this investigation is finally gaining some traction, Sleepy Joe is now doing an end-around of Congress by directed AG Garland to pursue universal background checks. He is literally throwing the Constitution of the United States of America away and acting as an emperor of the land. And, to show how dead on the money we were yesterday in detailing why Silicon Valley Bank collapsed, we get a comment from Canadian-American investor Kevin O'Leary, who called out the SVB "idiot bank managers" who led the bank to its demise. He also noted that by coming to the rescue, the Federal Government was essentially nationalizing the bank. It also sends a terrible message to other banks that poor leadership and dumb investing will not lead to any consequences. Then we close with comments from Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) from today's U.S. Senate discussion on the U.S. Banking System. He points out three ways SVB could have avoided collapse and all of those were things we pointed out yesterday. It had nothing to do with any deregulation; it was solely about incompetence from the bank, to the Federal Reserve to the Treasury Department. People were not focused on doing their jobs. In this Episode of The Bald Brad Show, the liberal colleges about to get triggered with Ron DeSantis (R-FL) requested information on diversity expenditures from state universities. A memo addressed to Florida Education Commissioner Manny Diaz and Florida State University System Chancellor Ray Rodrigues, which was sent on December 28 and posted to social media on Wednesday by DeSantis Press Secretary Bryan Griffin, told the officials to gather data on diversity initiatives in the higher education system as the Florida legislature begins to consider budget proposals. “It is important that we have a full understanding of the operational expenses of state institutions,” the memo said. “This letter is a request for information from the Department of Education and the State University System regarding the expenditure of state resources on programs and initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusion, and critical race theory within our state colleges and universities.” For each initiative, university administrators were told to include a brief description of the program, the number of staff positions associated with the program, the total funding used to support the program, and the portion of the funding that came from taxpayer dollars. Numerous reports have noted the inflow of capital into the nascent diversity sector, which garnered attention following the death of George Floyd in the summer of 2020. Public universities in Michigan, Maryland, Virginia, and Illinois employed diversity officials who pocketed salaries ranging from $329,000 to $430,000, according to a report from Fox News, while an analysis from the Heritage Foundation found that colleges hire an average of three diversity staffers for every 100 tenured faculty. Furthermore, the latest installment of Elon Musk's "Twitter Files" revealed some of the lengths Democrats have gone to collude with social media companies, silence critics, and stifle dissent. The latest batch of revelations contained an email wherein California Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff's office demanded that Twitter suspend journalist Paul Sperry's account, remove "any and all content" unfavorable to Schiff's aide Sean Misko and others, and altogether regulate conversations online about persons involved in both the impeachment inquiry and 2020 presidential election.

Just the News reported that Donald Trump completely cooperated with a grand jury subpoena for documents two months ago, allowing FBI agents and a DOJ lawyer to search his presidential records storage locker in Mar-a-Lago. Mr. Trump even added a stronger padlock to the locker after the FBI recommended it. Trump told them, “Look, whatever you need, let us know.” Meanwhile, FBI Director Christopher Wray sidestepped questions regarding the possibility of FBI agents planting evidence during the Mar-a-Lago raid. [38:45] Exposing Obama? (17 minutes)What were FBI agents really looking for in the Mar-a-Lago raid? Conservative Treehouse author Mark Bradford speculates that they were searching for declassified documents about Barack Obama's spying campaign against Trump, which the DOJ and FBI have kept from being released. Paul Sperry made the same point on Twitter earlier this week, which resulted in his account being suspended. The devil hates exposure and so do his agents!
