Pop oscuro y atmosférico. Canciones que rescatan el estilo Witch House, que la banda ayudó a consolidar, pero con un lenguaje y una estética parcialmente transformados. “In Spain we call it soledad” de Rigoberta Bandini nombre tras el que se encuentra Paula Ribó, una chica que lleva años dedicándose al mundo de las artes. Ha trabajado como actriz de doblaje películas como ‘Bichos: Una Aventura en Miniatura’, ‘Toy Story 2’… también ha publicado novelas y obras de teatro que ha dirigido. Ahora Paula Ribó se atreve con la música. En concreto hace electrónica espiritual En este 2020 ha publicado cuatro sencillos que navegan entre la electrónica y el pop entre ellos “In Spain We Called It Soledad”. “Shoes” de Jonah Yano, Tatsuya Muraoka, , el cantautor canadiense nacido en Japón acaba de lanzar, souvenir ,una colección de canciones que reflejan experiencias profundamente personales, incluida la mudanza a un nuevo país extraño después de la separación de sus padres y la ausencia de su padre durante años. Una de las canciones más destacadas es 'shoes”, que hace referencia a un par de zapatos que su padre le regaló justo antes de separarse durante más de 15 años. En el tema se escucha la voz de Tatsuya Muraoka, padre de Jonah. El resultado es una colaboración emotiva entre padre e hijo. Cerramos la selección musical con mina tindle nombre artístico de Pauline de Lassus Saint-Geniès cantante, compositora y multinstrumentista francesa de folk y new wave, que está estrenando su nuevo disco “Sister”, compartimos con vosotros la hermosa balada “Is Anything Wrong” una versión de un tema original de Lhasa De Sela (diez años sin la magnífica cantante méxico-estadounidense) . ▶️▶️38’ 54" Comentamos “Under the Skin” de Jonathan Glazer, una película de culto, un oscuro relato de ciencia ficción, considerada una de las obras más importantes del cine británico contemporáneo, y que por desgracia tardó siete años en estrenarse en España. Su colaboración en las canciones "nervous" y "Key to Love (Is Understanding)" con la banda de acid jazz canadiense, ha generado un buen impacto en la carrera de este joven artista. Su álbum debut recién salido del horno, explora este sentimiento de baile de graduación de la preparatoria y el descubrimiento de identidad después de los 20 años de edad. Jonah's first single 'Nervous,' featuring @badbadnotgood was just released under the record label Innovative Leisure. We had the pleasure of chatting with Jonah about his decision to move to Toronto in 2016 ( from British Colombia), reclaiming his Japanese roots, challenging the emasculation of East/South-East Asian men in media, what it's like to work with your idols, and what his song writing process is like.
