By founding Lean Institute Brasil in 1999 to disseminate the principles and practices of lean thinking to Brazilian companies, Ferro helped catalyze a global movement to establish lean institutes in other countries, which ultimately grew into the Lean Global Network, chartered in 2007.In the late eighties, he was a visiting scholar in MIT's International Motor Vehicle Research Program (IMVP), which introduced the term “lean” to describe Toyota's revolutionary management system. 10 marca 1872 r. w Pizie zmarł Giuseppe Mazzini. Odszedł ze słowami „ja naprawdę wierzę w Boga” na ustach. Czy cały elektorat demokratyczny się na nią przestawi? Tego jeszcze nie wiemy. Nie znamy jej kampanii, to są dopiero pierwsze sygnały - powiedział Zaremba. Jak stwierdził publicysta, „Kamala Harris jest – jeżeli chodzi o kwestie programowe – podobna do Joe Bidena”. - Przez cztery lata świeciła jego odbitym światłem jako wiceprezydent. Natomiast pewnie jeszcze mocniej i bardziej radykalnie będzie stawiała na kwestie równości rasowej, pozycji kobiety w społeczeństwie amerykańskim i na kwestie klimatyczne - powiedział Zaremba. - My się przyzwyczailiśmy do Zielonego Ładu w Europie, ale nie odnotowujemy, że Joe Biden próbował przeszczepiać pewne rozwiązania europejskie, na grunt amerykański. Podejrzewam, że Harris będzie jeszcze bardziej ekologiczna od Bidena - dodał. - A z drugiej strony Donald Trump wyraźnie powiedział na konwencji republikańskiej, że chce odrzucić całkowicie pomysły ekologiczno-klimatyczne. Ja uważam, że to jest możliwe – pytanie, czy Harris zaprezentuje się nie jako kobieta, lecz jako osobowość - dodał. - Jako wiceprezydent była w cieniu, nie potrafiła znaleźć wspólnego języka z amerykanami na tyle, że miała gorsze notowania od Bidena. Bain, et al., recorded on the ground just before the National March in Florida to Protect Trans Youth and a Speakout for Trans Lives that took place in Orlando on October 7. Hundreds turned out to protest the state's violent and unconstitutional laws and spoke out against the wave of anti-trans bills, which attendees linked to a longstanding history of capitalist and imperialist domination in this country.
