Quatro anos depois da invasão russa, a guerra na Ucrânia continua em um impasse sangrento, e sem qualquer sinal de desfecho. Estimativas militares apontam entre 1,5 milhão e quase 2 milhões de soldados mortos desde 2022 — a maioria deles russos. Nesta terça-feira (24), data que marca mais um aniversário da guerra, a RFI ouviu militares e civis para traçar um resumo da situação atual no país.   Com informações dos enviados especiais da RFI à Ucrânia, Murielle Paradon e Julien Boileau, e de Théo Renaudon. A Rússia mantém o controle de aproximadamente 20% do território da Ucrânia, consolidando ganhos obtidos sobretudo em 2024, ainda que sem grandes avanços desde então. A presença russa é forte ao leste, no Donbass, e ao sul, perto de Zaporíjia, Kherson e Crimeia. Porém, a proliferação de drones mudou a configuração da guerra. Na cidade portuária de Kherson, é preciso dirigir em alta velocidade para evitar ser perseguido por um drone russo. A estrada também é parcialmente protegida por redes artesanais projetadas para deter o que os moradores chamam de "máquinas mortais".  “Usamos diferentes tipos de redes para deter os drones. Algumas têm buracos de vários tamanhos, que podem parar os drones e as cargas explosivas que eles lançam", explica Oleksander Tolokonnikov, vice-chefe da administração regional de Kherson. "E não são apenas as redes; temos sistemas de interferência contra drones e unidades móveis que podem abatê-los,” completa.  O clima é sombrio na cidade. Cerca de 80% da população fugiu de Kherson. Os poucos que ficaram parecem resignados.  Vika tomava um café ao ar livre, enfrentando o frio e a ameaça inimiga. Aos 16 anos, ela diz que se acostumou com a ideia de morrer a qualquer momento.  “Quando você ouve o som de um drone, você não sabe o que vai acontecer, se você vai conseguir chegar ao seu destino ou se o drone vai lhe atingir. Então eu me escondo debaixo das árvores, sim, das árvores!”  Apenas os idosos, funcionários públicos e suas famílias permaneceram em Kherson. Para eles, a vida está por um fio. Ludmila, de 71 anos, prefere depositar sua fé em Deus. “Antes de sair de casa, eu rezo a Deus para que Ele esteja comigo, para que nada aconteça comigo, com meus filhos, meus netos ou com a minha igreja”, diz.  Combate robotizado Além da guerra com drones, os soldados ucranianos contam cada vez mais com a ajuda de robôs no combate. Equipamentos controlados remotamente são usados para reabastecer soldados e até mesmo resgatar os feridos, como os enviados especiais da RFI acompanharam em Pavlograd, no leste da Ucrânia.  Na zona rural coberta de neve, Artem, um soldado de 24 anos, opera remotamente um robô equipado com uma plataforma e grandes esteiras — uma espécie de mini-tanque — que surgiu no campo de batalha há alguns meses para reabastecer os soldados ucranianos na linha de frente.  “Usamos este robô conectado para transportar suprimentos, comida, geradores, munição — tudo o que os soldados precisam para sobreviver. Devido ao grande número de drones inimigos, não é possível reabastecer os soldados a pé ou em um veículo sem colocar em risco a vida de outros soldados.”  Esses robôs também podem evacuar os feridos. Os dispositivos maiores podem transportar uma carga de até 500 kg. Artem relata que em uma operação recente conseguiram "evacuar dois soldados feridos que estavam cercados em território já ocupado pelo inimigo. A evacuação exigiu um longo planejamento", afirma. "Aguardamos condições climáticas favoráveis e então lançamos a operação. Ela durou 10 horas e foi um sucesso! Não consigo descrever a emoção que senti quando conseguimos retirar o robô com os dois soldados feridos da zona de perigo”, conclui.  O próprio jovem Artem foi ferido na linha de frente em 2023. Tendo perdido uma perna, ele não luta mais com um fuzil, mas com um joystick, que é uma nova forma de fazer guerra.  Conversas de paz estagnadas Enquanto isso, na arena diplomática, as mais recentes negociações de paz entre Rússia e Ucrânia, realizadas em Genebra em meados de fevereiro, terminaram sem avanços significativos. As duas delegações descreveram as conversas como “difíceis”. O presidente ucraniano, Volodymyr Zelensky, afirmou que os resultados foram “insuficientes” e que questões políticas sensíveis seguem sem solução, apesar de algum progresso técnico nas discussões militares.  Novas rodadas estão previstas, mas sem data anunciada. Os Estados Unidos continuam a mediar o processo e falam em “progresso significativo”. Combate à corrupção Ao mesmo tempo em que enfrenta negociações de paz marcadas por avanços limitados e grande pressão internacional, a Ucrânia também trava uma batalha interna contra a corrupção — um fator decisivo para sua credibilidade diante dos mediadores e aliados ocidentais. Kiev tenta demonstrar comprometimento institucional ao aprofundar investigações, sancionar envolvidos em escândalos e restaurar a independência de órgãos anticorrupção. Essas medidas são vistas como essenciais, tanto para fortalecer sua posição nas negociações quanto para avançar no caminho da integração europeia.  Saudadas por ONGs anticorrupção, essas deliberações ainda são insuficientes, explica Maria Barabach, porta-voz da Sproto (“Resistência”, em português), que denuncia os subornos e acordos secretos na Ucrânia. “Antes da guerra, havia relatórios oficiais de que a corrupção custava mais de 30% do orçamento da Ucrânia", diz. "Mas acho que esse valor aumentou durante a guerra, porque existem muitos documentos confidenciais. E nós, como ativistas anticorrupção, não podemos verificá-los, controlá-los ou sequer vê-los”, lamenta.  “A corrupção nos custa mais vidas do que o agressor durante a guerra. Porque a corrupção significa que os soldados não terão capacetes, não terão equipamentos de proteção e não terão armas suficientes. Não terão munição suficiente. E, obviamente, isso custa vidas, as mais preciosas, as de nossos civis e de nossos militares. É por isso que devemos lutar contra isso. Devemos impedir isso.”  Apesar da exaustão do conflito, qualquer noção de “vencedor” é ilusória nesse momento, segundo especialistas: Moscou suporta perdas históricas e uma economia sob pressão, enquanto Kiev enfrenta desgaste humano, destruição de infraestrutura e dependência crescente do apoio ocidental. Ainda assim, pesquisas apontam que a sociedade ucraniana mantém um nível surpreendente de resiliência.  Ao completar quatro anos de guerra, as expectativas de um acordo entre Rússia e Ucrânia seguem baixas. Moscou insiste em concessões territoriais amplas, enquanto Kiev exige garantias de segurança robustas e rejeita ceder partes de seu território.

Tās pirmizrāde notika 1920. gada 9. novembrī Rīgā, kinoteātrī Grand Kino tagadējā Lāčplēša ielā 52. Vēlāk "Grand Kino" vietā bija kinoteātris "Lāčplēsis", arī kinoteātris "Kino 52". Filmas "Es karā aiziedams" (1920) radošā grupa: scenārijs un režija – Vilis Segliņš, operatori – Kārlis Kārkliņš, Augusts Rozītis, komponists – Aleksandrs Valle, lomās: Alfrēds Amtmanis-Briedītis (Ērgļu māju saimnieks Alfrēds Ozoliņš), Ludmila Špīlberga (Marija, viņa sieva), M. Komisārs (Ediņš, viņu dēlēns), Aleksis Mierlauks (vecais saimnieks), Berta Rūmniece (vecmāmiņa), Jānis Ģērmanis (Pēteris, puisis Ērgļos), Paula Baltābola (Dace, meita Ērgļos),  Teodors Valdšmits (Starpu māju saimnieks), Lilija Ērika (žēlsirdīgā māsa). Filmai ir 3 daļas; precīzs garums nav zināms – tas varētu būt no 45 – 60 minūtēm. Diemžēl ne "Es karā aiziedams", ne citas 20. gadu sākuma Latvijas spēlfilmas nav saglabājušās – par tām mēs varam uzzināt galvenokārt no 20. gadu periodikas, dokumentu arhīviem, arī no attēliem un cita vizuālā materiāla. Taču zīmīgi, ka nu jau savu zudušo filmu vēsturi varam skatīt arī jaunās filmās! Režisores Signes Birkovas 2025. gadā uzņemtā filma "Lotus" ir drosmīga un krāšņa fantāzija par Latviju 20. gadsimta 20. gadu sākumā. Filmā darbojas gan izdomāts personāžs, gan reālas vēsturiskas personas, viņu vidū arī filmas "Es karā aiziedams" režisors Vilis Segliņš Viļa Daudziņa iemiesojumā. Kaut arī Signe Birkova Latvijas kinomākslas tapšanu interpretē ļoti brīvi un savas filmas centrā ielikusi izdomātu vācu aristokrāti Alisi fon Trotu, "Lotosā" iezīmētā laikmeta atmosfēra – haosa, trūkuma, bet arī lielu ideju un cerību pilna – ir ļoti ticama, ļaujot sajust, cik lielu drosmi un uzņēmību "Es karā aiziedams" uzņemšana varēja prasīt no filmas radošās grupas.  Šodien mēs droši vien teiktu, ka filma "Es karā aiziedams" atbilst vēsturiskajam žanram, taču 1920. gadā tas bija sava laika, toreizējo mūsdienu stāsts. Tā centrā bija zemnieku ģimene un lauku mājas saimnieks Ērglis (viņu atveido Alfrēds Amtmanis-Briedītis), kas tiek iesaukts strēlniekos Pirmā pasaules kara laikā, bet pēc tam kļūst par brīvības cīņu jeb Neatkarības kara virsnieku, varoni, kas filmā pielīdzināts Lāčplēsim, tā aizsākot Lāčplēša kā varoņtēlu prototipa tradīciju mūsu kino. Filmā bija arī melodramatiskas līnijas – mīlestība, greizsirdība, uzticības un ziedošanās tēmas, iespējams arī – paaudžu attiecības. To visu iemiesoja sava laika mīlētākie un pazīstamākie latviešu teātra aktieri: Ludmila Špīlberga, Aleksis Mierlauks, Berta Rūmniece, Lilija Ērika, Jānis Ģērmanis, Paula Baltābola, Teodors Valdšmits. Laikā, kad filmas iecere tapa, 1919. gadā, Latvija bija kara un okupāciju saplosīta. Kino bija kļuvis par savdabīgu patvērumu vispirms jau filmu auditorijai: piemēram, padomju varas pārstāvji 1919. gadā konstatēja, ka cilvēki pārāk daudz apmeklējot nenopietnas filmu izrādes un citus tingeltangeļus. Vajagot uzvest pamācošas bildes ar lekcijām, bet ja tas nav iespējams, tad kinoteātri jāslēdz. [1] Taču kinoteātri bija patvēruma vieta, maizes un darba vieta arī māksliniekiem – mūziķiem un aktieriem. Minētos aktierus 1919. gadā, kamēr juku laikā teātri bija slēgti, uz kinoteātri "Grand Kino" uzaicināja tā direktors Kārlis Kārkliņš (1886–1972). Aktieri pelnīja iztiku, spēlējot t.s. divertismentus, nelielas ludziņas filmu starplaikos. Daļa no tām bija lokalizējumi, bet daļu, iespējams, uzrakstīja aktieris un režisors Alfrēds Amtmanis-Briedītis pats. "Grand Kino" Varietē teātra aktieri kļuva kļuva par filmas "Es karā aiziedams" tēlotājiem – pirmajiem kinoaktieriem neatkarīgajā Latvijā.  1929. gadā Kārlis Kārkliņš, kuru mūsdienīgā valodā varētu dēvēt par filmu producentu un distributoru (filmu izplatītāju), kādā intervijā teica: "Latvijas nacionālās filmrūpniecības pamatus radījām mēs kopīgi ar tagadējo Nacionālā teātra režisoru Amtmani-Briedīti." [2]  Būtisks bija Viļa Segliņa (1882–1961) ieguldījums. Segliņš esot Latvijā no Krievijas un Ukrainas atgriezies tieši tad, kad uzsākts darbs pie filmas. Segliņš ārzemēs bija piedalījies vairāku filmu uzņemšanā. Kārlis Kārkliņš viņu novērtēja kā "tanī laikā vienu no labākiem filmu darbiniekiem Latvijā. Segliņš mums palīdzēja izstrādāt filmas scenāriju, un pēc tā pabeigšanas ķērāmies pie darba". Kārkliņam esot piederējis mazs filmēšanas aparāts, ar kuru varēja uzņemt tikai 30 metrus filmas. Kārkliņš vēlāk stāstīja: "Centos Briedītim iegalvot, ka mums pirmā latvju filma jārada ar šo pašu aparātu. Viņš uz šo ideju skatījās ļoti skeptiski, jo es nebiju profesionāls operators, bet vienkāršs amatieris. Bet, kad es viņam parādīju pirmos uzņēmumus no filmas, ar Liliju Ēriku, tas sajūsmināts iesaucās: "Tagad es ticu Latvijas filmai!"" 1920. gada 9. novembrī notika filmas "Es karā aiziedams" pirmizrāde Rīgā, bet pēc tās filma tika plaši izrādīta Latvijā, vēl arī 1921. gada vasarā un, iespējams, arī vēlāk. Vērtējumi presē bija atzinīgi vai vismaz saudzīgi. Piemēram, žurnāls "Latvijas Tirgotājs" 1920. gada Nr. 8./9 rakstīja: "Neskatoties uz dažām tehniskām nepilnībām, kuras jauniesācējiem nav bijis iespējams novērst pie tagadējiem apstākļiem, uzņēmums atstāj diezgan patīkamu iespaidu un apsveicams kā pirmais darbs vietējā kinematogrāfijā." Avīze "Latvijas Sargs" 1920. gada 10. novembrī norādīja, ka "uzvedumam, bez šaubām, vēl daudz māksliniecisku trūkumu, bet ievērojot uzņēmuma aprobežotos materiālos līdzekļus, kā arī drāmas aktieru pirmo uzstāšanos kinoaktieru lomās, filma tomēr kā eksperiments atzīstama un kā tāds var modināt zināmu interesi". Pamatīgāko recenziju paša vadītajā žurnālā "Fotogrāfijas Mēnešraksts" 1921. gada pirmajā numurā uzrakstīja filmu operators Jānis Sīlis: "Tas ir mūsu pirmais mēģinājums un kā tāds arī atzīstams. Bet arī tikai kā tāds. Šoreiz finansiāli tikām cauri, mūs glāba vispārēja sajūsma, jo tas bija pirmais mūsu pašu, latviešu gabals. Uz priekšu tā strādāt nevaram, ja negribam vilkties citām tautām astē. Mums jārada latviešu kino drāma, jāieliek viņā mūsu īpatnība, jāizved viss mākslinieciski un tehniski ne sliktāk par ārzemju darbiem. Ticība uz latviešu kinematogrāfijas nākotni lai vieno mūs visus." Dzejnieka Raiņa atmiņās atrodama informācija, ka Segliņš viņam stāstījis par filmas gūto peļņu: "Es karā(i) aiziedams" esot atnesis 150 000 rbļ. skaidra atlikuma. [3] Filmas panākumu iedvesmota, domubiedru grupa 1921. gadā izveidoja akciju sabiedrību "Latvju Filma", kurā līdzās kinohronikām un reklāmas filmām tapa vēl četras inscenētas filmas: "Laiku viesulī" (1921), "Fricītis jūrmalā" (1921), "Psihe" (1922) un "Vilkiem mests laupījums" (1922). Mesmo após a traição, aquela imagem dela machucada, não saia da sua cabeça. Paulo descobriu que ela vivia com medo e dias depois, Ludmila ligou chorando, dizendo que precisava dele para sair daquela relação e que se arrependia de tudo. Agora, ele está dividido entre ajudar, mas tem medo de que essa volta, quebre o seu coração ainda mais.

Since firing head coach Lorne Donaldson at the end of April, things haven't gotten any better for the Chicago Stars. In fact, they may haven only gotten worse.
