In today's culture, it's nearly impossible to avoid seeing sexualized images and messages. That means we must diligently protect our hearts. Otherwise, we'll be influenced—we'll be corrupted. Maybe some of you already sense that your hearts aren't where they should be. If that's the case, then the question becomes “how can my heart be made clean again?” In this episode, Pure Life Ministries Events Manager, Josh Rowand, talks about how today's Christian can not only navigate a sexualized culture, but go deeper with the Lord in the process. Anila Ali, founder of the American Muslim Multi-Faith Women's Empowerment Council, joins Shai to share her journey as a Pakistani-American Muslim woman fighting extremism from within. From growing up in Pakistan's Sufi-influenced culture, to witnessing radical ideology infiltrate American mosques after 9/11, to speaking at the March for Israel in front of 300,000 people post-October 7th, Anila has faced death threats, lost family, and received an Iranian fatwa against her. She discusses why 80% of the world's Muslims are non-Arab, how the Muslim Brotherhood hijacked mainstream Islam, and why building authentic interfaith Abrahamic partnerships is the path forward.Guest: Pakistani Muslim Activist Anila AliConsider DONATING to help us continue and expand our media efforts. She was raised Muslim, entered an arranged marriage in a devout Sunni household, and spent years searching for God within the boundaries of Islam. Then everything changed.Nikki Kingsley joins John-Henry Westen to share the extraordinary story of how she encountered the Virgin Mary inside a Catholic cathedral—not as a distant figure, but as a living presence who spoke to her. Later came visions of Jesus, vivid and undeniable, culminating in a moment inside a Catholic church where she received what she could no longer deny: Christ is God.Her conversion cost her family, her community, and everything she once knew. But what she found was worth the price. Kingsley now reflects on what it means to evangelize Muslims—not through argument alone, but through the witness of a life transformed. And at the center of it all stands Our Lady, who led her home.HELP SUPPORT WORK LIKE THIS: https://give.lifesitenews.com/?utm_source=SOCIAL U.S. residents! Send us a textWhat does it really look like to be a single Muslim woman in today's world? In a culture where marriage is often seen as a woman's “end goal”, staying single—by choice or circumstance—comes with pressure, judgment, and a lot of assumptions. In this episode, we go inside the life of a single Muslim woman and talk about the things people never say out loud, but always think. This isn't a lecture and it's not a religious debate. It's a raw conversation about family expectations, community culture, faith, career, and identity. Our guest for the show is Amal Abuzahria. In this episode we talk about:What everyday life actually looks like for a single Muslim womanMarriage pressure from family and the communityThe double standard: single Muslim men vs single Muslim women“You're getting old” – how age, timelines, and “the market” really feelBalancing deen, culture, and personal happinessCareer, money, and being labeled as “too independent”Mental health, loneliness, and feeling “less than” for not being marriedHow social media, DMs, and modern dating impact Muslim relationshipsWhat Muslim men don't see about what women are going throughThe unspoken fears about the future: kids, aging, and supportThis is not an attack on Islam or on the Muslim community. Ask any scholar or student of knowledge—and they'll tell you: some of the most common, urgent questions they get are from women. About menstruation. Purity. Prayer. Hijab. Going out. Marriage. Divorce. But not enough people are teaching it. To address this gap, here begins the explanation of الأربعون النسائية (Al-Arba'een An-Nisaa'iyyah)—a collection of 43 hadith compiled by Shaykh Muhammad ibn Shakir ash-Shareef, each one dealing with rulings specific to women, drawn from the Sunnah and explained upon the understanding of the Salaf. In Episode 1, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan breaks down the first hadith of the book—where the Prophet ﷺ says: “Do not prevent your women from the masājid, but their homes are better for them.” - What exactly does this mean today? - Is it really better for women to pray at home—even in Makkah and Madinah? - Can a husband stop his wife from going to the masjid? And when is that allowed? - What conditions did the scholars set for women going out—and are they still being met today? - And what did Aisha رضي الله عنها say that still speaks volumes about modesty and change in society? This isn't just theory. It's the lived fiqh of women—starting here. This week on Ring of Fire! There is absolutely no winning with Donald Trump. Following the incident at his golf course on Sunday, Trump told a rally crowd this week that both President Biden and Vice President Harris called him and were very nice, and then he said he wished that they hadn't been so nice to him – apparently it makes him feel bad to be a jerk to them after that. But he continued on with his jerkish behavior nevertheless. Republican Senator John Kennedy made headlines this week when he went into a massively racist line of questioning with a Muslim woman who was testifying before a Senate Committee on racism on college campuses. Kennedy appeared to prove her point about rampant racism by repeatedly implying that she supported terrorist organizations, but he shocked the entire room and drew audible gasps from the audience when he concluded his time by telling the woman to “hide your head in a bag.” Republicans in the House failed to get a budget bill passed on Wednesday evening because they wouldn't remove the SAVE Act that Donald Trump has been pushing for. Now Trump has gone ballistic and is demanding that Republicans shut down the federal government at the end of the month. Mitch McConnell had previously said that doing so would be “politically stupid,” but Trump is telling Republicans that now is the time to be stupid. All that, and more, on this week's Ring of Fire Podcast!
