Audrey Symes discusses how AI is reshaping non-tech industries. Referencing Goldman Sachs (GS) CEO David Solomon and a strong JOLTS report, she argues fears of AI-driven job losses are overstated. Symes says AI is creating new, higher-value roles and driving demand for “AI-native” workers, even as some lower-level tasks are automated.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Subscribe to the Market Minute newsletter - https://schwabnetwork.com/subscribeDownload the iOS app - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/schwab-network/id1460719185Download the Amazon Fire Tv App - https://www.amazon.com/TD-Ameritrade-Network/dp/B07KRD76C7Watch on Sling - https://watch.sling.com/1/asset/191928615bd8d47686f94682aefaa007/watchWatch on Vizio - https://www.vizio.com/en/watchfreeplus-exploreWatch on DistroTV - https://www.distro.tv/live/schwab-network/Follow us on X – https://twitter.com/schwabnetworkFollow us on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/schwabnetworkFollow us on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/schwab-network/ About Schwab Network - https://schwabnetwork.com/about

Be sure to check out her first appearance on episode 776 of Boundless Body Radio!Gavin Symes is Registered Occupational Therapist, a Metabolic Therapy Coach, and the Founder & Chief Wizard of Wizard OT, short for Occupational Therapy. He founded Wizard OT in 2020 to provide a truly person-centered approach to therapy. At the core of their approach is the idea that each person should be treated as an individual. By considering each person's biological, psychological and social needs, they provide a tailored approach to improving every client's wellbeing. They don't assume to know ahead of time what is best for their clients, and instead, work with the individual, their family and their wider network to create an intervention. In 2010, Gavin suffered a serious head injury that left him physically and cognitively impaired. The injury made simple tasks hard and required some basic skills to be relearnt. Progress was slow and hard-won but with time, support and consistent effort, he was able to make a full recovery. The experience of having his life turned upside down by a debilitating impairment has informed everything Gavin has done throughout his career, as it is the fire that drives him to help others.Find Gavin at-https://www.wizardot.com/IG- @wizard_otFind Boundless Body at-myboundlessbody.comBook a session with us here!

Audrey Symes breaks down OpenAI's new industrial policy report, arguing AI will reshape tasks rather than eliminate jobs. She notes adoption remains early across industries, with productivity gains potentially easing long‑term inflation as firms rethink how work is structured. Symes adds that AI is more likely to amplify human roles than replace them, even as investment flows toward hyperscalers and private credit.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Options involve risks and are not suitable for all investors. Is style something you're born with, or can it be learned?Aricia Symes says it's both art and science. In this episode, Joe Pardavila sits down with Aricia, founder of Unfoldid and author of The Style Formula: The Art and Science of What to Wear. From growing up on a farm in hand-me-downs to advising Grammy nominees on their personal style, Aricia shares how she helps people understand their “style ID” and make fashion work for their real lives. They dive into the rise of casual wear, debunk outdated fashion “rules” like “no white after Labor Day,” and explore the real reasons you keep buying the same top over and over.Whether you're a fashion newbie or just tired of feeling blah about your closet, this episode will make you rethink how you get dressed—and why it matters.
When the Symes family spotted a glowing orb following them home from a pub in Wales in 1975, they had no idea it was just the beginning of decades of UFO encounters that would span multiple generations. From metallic spheres hovering over their house to military jets mysteriously appearing after their reports, their experiences mirror hundreds of similar sightings of spherical UFOs stalking families across Britain and around the world.Join the DARKNESS SYNDICATE: https://weirddarkness.com/syndicateTake the WEIRD DARKNESS LISTENER SURVEY and help mold the future of the podcast: https://weirddarkness.com/surveyIN THIS EPISODE: When UFO researcher and investigator, Richard Hall, first received reports of a UFO sighting from the Symes family in the United Kingdom in 2011, he perhaps didn't expect that the encounters they would reveal would stretch back to the mid-1970s. Whether the Symes family are just simply in the right place at the right time or whether their location plays a part in these multiple sightings remains open to debate. Although there isn't any evidence for it, perhaps the Symes have been targeted by the alleged extraterrestrial occupants of these seemingly alien vehicles. What is interesting, though, is that there are many sightings of these shiny or glowing spherical UFOs on record, both in the United Kingdom and around the world. And what's more, many of them share remarkably similar details in terms of their description and how they act.SOURCES AND RESOURCES FROM THE EPISODE…“The Many Extraterrestrial Experiences of the Symes Family” by Marcus Lowth for UFO Insight:https://weirddarkness.tiny.us/2p878rbh=====(Over time links may become invalid, disappear, or have different content. This Best Of replay features Sand Symes, the only medicine woman I've ever had on the show, and she's about to completely shift how you think about healing, triggers, and your own inner power. Sand's journey from seeing spirits as a child to becoming a modern shamanic practitioner is absolutely captivating, but what will blow your mind is her framework of "sun medicines" and "moon medicines" - and how understanding both can transform every relationship in your life, including the most important one with yourself. If you've ever wondered why certain people trigger you, felt disconnected from your body, or struggled with that voice in your head that says you're not enough, Sand provides answers that will change everything. She shares practical tools you can use tonight (literally in your bed) plus powerful breathing techniques. This conversation goes deep into ancestral healing, finding your true gifts, and why the wisdom you've gained through all your "mistakes" is actually your greatest superpower.Key Takeaways: • The mirror principle: Why the people who trigger you most are showing you exactly what you need to heal (and it's not what you think) • Sun and moon medicines: How to identify your true gifts versus the qualities others told you to have - and why your "negative" traits are actually medicine too • The ancestral connection: How patterns from generations past are still running your life and what you can do about it • The power of embodied practices: Simple techniques to reconnect with your body and calm your nervous system when life feels overwhelming • Midnight medicine: A bedtime practice that will transform how you talk to yourself and heal your inner childSand Says: You're Not Too F***ing Old! Da Politikens Camilla Stockmann i 2006 gik hen over Rådhuspladsen, drejede ned ad H.C. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The experience of having his life turned upside down by a debilitating impairment has informed everything Gavin has done throughout his career, as it is the fire that drives him to help others.Find Gavin at- https://www.wizardot.com/IG- @wizard_otFind Boundless Body at- myboundlessbody.com Book a session with us here!

Weird Darkness is narrated by professional full-time voice actor Darren Marlar. No A.I. voices are ever used in the show. IN THIS EPISODE: When UFO researcher and investigator, Richard Hall, first received reports of a UFO sighting from the Symes family in the United Kingdom in 2011, he perhaps didn't expect that the encounters they would reveal would stretch back to the mid-1970s. And what's more, many of them share remarkably similar details in terms of their description and how they act.SOURCES AND REFERENCES FROM THE EPISODE…“The Many Extraterrestrial Experiences of the Symes Family” by Marcus Lowth for UFO Insight: https://weirddarkness.tiny.us/2p878rbhWeird Darkness theme by Alibi Music Library. = = = = =(Over time links seen above may become invalid, disappear, or have different content. Dr. Jordan B. Peterson sits down with author and philosopher Jack Symes. They discuss the ability of man to conceptualize God, the arguments for and against both an evil God and a perfect God, the evidence for a transcendent good to exist, and why happiness and suffering are the wrong theological axes. Jack Symes is a public philosopher and researcher at Durham University. Dr Symes is best known as the producer of The Panpsycast Philosophy Podcast, one of the UK's most popular higher education podcasts. Jack is also the editor of the Talking about Philosophy book series, which features contributions from some of the world's most influential thinkers. His books include "Philosophers on Consciousness: Talking about the Mind" (2022), "Philosophers on God: Talking about Existence" (2024), "Defeating the Evil-God Challenge: In Defence of God's Goodness" (2024), and "Philosophers on How to Live: Talking about Morality" (forthcoming). Birds sing joyfully, dogs smile as they fetch their sticks, and philosophers laugh at their own jokes on podcasts. It is a happy world after all. In fact, if we ponder upon such delights for long enough, it is possible to infer – even during our darkest days – that these are gifts bestowed by a benevolent creator, for these are not necessary for our survival but are gratuitous goods. Yet, says another, what if these delights are no more proof of a benevolent creator than they are a malevolent one? What if these goods are given just to amplify our suffering when they are inevitably taken from us? And, what if, for every reason given for believing in a good-god, there was room for an evil-god to just as easily take his place? In this episode, we'll be exploring the evil-god challenge with Dr Jack Symes, teacher and researcher at Durham University and editor Bloomsbury's popular book series, Talking about Philosophy. According to Symes, whilst the evil-god challenge has its merits, we should be sceptical about its attempts to draw parallel arguments to those in favour of god's goodness. Ultimately, for Symes, there are enough asymmetries in these parallel arguments that we should consider the evil-god challenge defeated. Contents Part I. Defeating the Evil-God Challenge Part II. The origin of our universe is the greatest mystery of all. Why is there something rather than nothing? Further still, how did we come to exist in a world with such precise laws of nature and complex creatures? As we shall see, how we answer these questions determines everything: from the meaning of our lives to the secrets of our futures. This week Premier Unbelievable presents a two part show event entitled “The Mystery of Existence” opening with the perennial and mind teasing question, “Why is there something rather than nothing?”. We have teamed up with our friends at The Panpsycast Philosophy Podcast to create a riveting two-part show made possible in part thanks to the Global Philosophy of Religion Project at the University of Birmingham. Featuring four of the biggest names in philosophy: Richard Dawkins (representing science and atheism), Jessica Frazier (on Hinduism), Silvia Jonas (speaking on Jewish philosophy), and Richard Swinburne (defending Christianity), the show asks the question, Why is there something rather than nothing?” The debate is presented by Unbelievable's Ruth Jackson and hosted by Panpsycast's Jack Symes.
