The modern circumcision procedure involves restraining the baby, tearing the foreskin, and amputating it using a clamp. Keeping the foreskin intact has numerous benefits, including enhanced sexual pleasure, protection of the penis, and reduced risk of STD transmission. Circumcision is a multi-billion dollar industry, with profits generated from performing the procedure, correcting complications, and selling foreskin tissue. Delaying circumcision and allowing individuals to make their own decision when they are older is a preferable option that respects bodily autonomy and informed consent. Medical organizations, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, have promoted circumcision for financial and cultural reasons, despite evidence of its harm and lack of medical necessity. Legal action can be taken against medical organizations for issuing fraudulent medical advice and performing medically unnecessary surgeries on children. Societal healing and awareness are necessary to address the trauma caused by circumcision and to protect children's rights. The rates of circumcision in the US have been declining, but there are regional and cultural variations. Bipartisan support is crucial in advocating for the protection of children's rights and ending the practice of circumcision. Summary: The conversation explores the topic of circumcision, discussing its historical origins, the modern procedure, and the benefits of keeping the foreskin intact. The guest, Eric Clopper, shares his personal journey of questioning circumcision and highlights the trauma and negative effects it can have on individuals. The conversation also delves into the financial aspects of circumcision, including the billions of dollars generated by performing the procedure and selling foreskin tissue. The importance of informed consent and the option to delay circumcision until the individual can make their own decision is emphasized. The conversation explores the reasons behind the continued practice of circumcision in the United States, despite evidence of its harm and lack of medical necessity. It discusses the role of medical organizations in promoting circumcision, the potential for legal action against these organizations, and the need for societal healing and awareness. The conversation also touches on the declining rates of circumcision in the US and the importance of bipartisan support for protecting children's rights. Keywords: circumcision, genital mutilation, foreskin, trauma, sexual pleasure, financial interests, informed consent, circumcision, medical organizations, legal action, healing, awareness, declining rates, bipartisan support

Are you confused about HRT and looking for more support and guidance to help you make informed decisions? This week, Dr. Daved Rosensweet joins me to discuss menopause and hormone therapy and to dispel some of the myths and confusion.Dr. Rosensweet was the clinical physician involved in the very first Nurse Practitioner training program in the U.S.A. and in charge of health promotion for the State of New Mexico. He teaches health professionals about treating women in menopause with bio-identical hormones. He explains that the confusion arose in 2002 when a study falsely reported an increased risk of breast cancer with hormone therapy. He clarifies that the study showed a reduced risk and that subsequent research confirmed the safety and benefits of hormone therapy. Dr Rosensweet also explains the difference between traditional hormone therapy derived from horse urine and bioidentical hormones derived from plants. He discusses the politics and profit motives behind the controversy surrounding bioidentical hormones. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of individualized treatment and testing hormone levels after a few months of therapy. In this conversation, Dr. Daved Rosensweet discusses the importance of progesterone, testosterone, and estrogen in women's health and shares why he believes it is necessary to replenish all four ovarian hormones for optimal well-being. Dr. Rosensweet also explains the significance of testosterone in preserving muscle mass and preventing muscle loss in older women. He highlights the importance of finding a healthcare provider who is knowledgeable about hormones and can individualize hormone prescriptions. The conversation also touches on the best vehicles for hormone delivery and the duration of hormone replacement therapy.Key Takeaways* Confusion about hormone therapy arose from a false report in 2002 that suggested an increased risk of breast cancer. Subsequent research has shown that hormone therapy actually reduces the risk of breast cancer, heart attack, and stroke.* Traditional hormone therapy derived from horse urine was widely used but has been largely replaced by bioidentical hormones derived from plants.* The controversy surrounding bioidentical hormones is driven by profit motives and attempts by pharmaceutical companies to regain market share.* Testing hormone levels is not necessary before starting hormone therapy, but it is important to monitor levels after a few months of treatment to ensure optimal dosing.* Individualized treatment is key, as hormone needs vary among women. Progesterone is crucial for mood, sleep, and bone health in women.* Testosterone is not just a male hormone but a human hormone that plays a role in muscle preservation.* Replenishing all four ovarian hormones is important for overall well-being in menopause.* Finding a healthcare provider who is knowledgeable about hormones and can individualize prescriptions is essential.* Topical application of hormones in creams, gels, or oils is the safest and most effective method.* The duration of hormone replacement therapy should be based on individual needs and can be lifelong.Chapters00:00 Introduction and the Confusion Surrounding Menopause03:33 The Truth About Hormone Therapy and Breast Cancer Risk06:50 The Difference Between Traditional and Bioidentical Hormone Therapy08:20 The Politics and Profit Motives Behind the Controversy14:36The Importance of Testing Hormone Levels After Treatment16:48 The Need for Individualized Treatment19:57 Replenishing All Four Ovarian Hormones20:18 Preserving Muscle Mass with Testosterone23:35 Finding a Knowledgeable Healthcare Provider23:52 The Best Vehicles for Hormone Delivery24:24 The Duration of Hormone Replacement TherapyConnect with Dr Rosensweet https://www.davedrosensweetmd.com/Connect with Clarissa https://clarissakristjansson.com/Get a copy of my new book Beyond Hormones: 7 Holistic Ways to Thrive Through Menopause https://bit.ly/49XBI1a Get full access to Heart of Menopause at clarissakristjansson.substack.com/subscribe

In this episode we will continue to discuss current events and scriptures based on the biblical scripture of ”Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?“ 2 Thessalonians 2:3-5 KJV As we reflect on these powerful words from the book of 2 Thessalonians, it serves as a reminder of the importance of staying rooted in the teachings of our faith. The apostle Paul, while he was still present with the Thessalonians, had already shared these truths with them. He had imparted his knowledge and wisdom, ensuring that they would not forget. In our journey of faith, it is essential to remember the lessons we have been taught. They serve as a guide, a compass that directs our steps towards the path of righteousness. It is through the remembrance of these teachings that we can grow and mature in our relationship with God. Tonight, True Bible Mission for Jesus Church invites you to a special podcast that delves deeper into the teachings of the Bible. This podcast aims to reinforce the fundamental principles of our faith, reminding us of the truths that were once shared with the Thessalonians. May this podcast be a source of blessing and inspiration to all. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jairus-jones/message

In a house in the woods about 40 miles west of Cleveland, Hooked Like Helen began as the musical brainstorms of husband-and-wife, Jon and Nikki Stipp. Experimental home recordings quickly developed into an alt-pop vision; within a year of the project's inception, Nikki and Jon had shaped a new sound that reflected their truth and their influences in a seamless blend of organic and electronic production. The band recently released a five song EP 'Tragedy Of Physics', co-produced by Nikki and long-time friend and collaborator, Grammy-winning lsha Erskine. The EP boasts several singles: The music video for the angsty-beautiful piano ballad 'Liar ' was premiered on Radio Disney and was released Oct 4th as part of the soundtrack for the movie High Strung: Free Dance starring Thomas Doherty (Disney's Descendants 2 and 3). 'Liar ' is featured prominently in a ballet dance sequence in the film, choreographed by Tyce Diorio (So You Think You Can Dance.) Track 2 from the Tragedy Of Physics EFI 'No Turning Back ' premiered on CLASH Magazine who praised it as "a soaring, vastly uplifting piece of bouncy, addictive alt-pop". The song was then used in the official movie trailer for High Strung: Free Dance, making it the 5th song in total that Nikki and Jon wrote or co-wrote to be included on the film's soundtrack. The band's single 'Fear This Place Apart ' premiered on the highly inHuentia UK-based I'he Line Of Best Fit ' and received rave reviews from the publication. Previously, the band had music placed on MTV's Unlocking The Truth and included in the shows ofhcial Spotify playlist. Hooked Like Helen is now preparing for a mini-tour this November, with Jeff Martin (Trevor Hall Band) joining them on drums. The band's kick-off show will be at The Study in Hollywood on the 22nd. Hooked Like Helen's sound embodies a unique vein of pop music; Nikki's haunting, layered harmonies and lush vocal arrangements create a surreal atmosphere of simultaneous melancholy and hope, dissonance and resolve. Dark lyrics and themes of existential pondering provide an eerie contrast to HLH's melodic sensibilities. Piano hooks, intricate, rhythmic bass lines, and epic, driving drums carry the songs of Hooked Like Helen through a slightly sad world view, always with a groove and a constant sense of Pop. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/thedarksideofmusic/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thedarksideofmusic/support

Oxygen starts 2018 with Final Appeal, which is basically MTV's Unlocking The Truth with different personnel and slower pacing. Did Patty Prewitt kill her husband? What's going on with the threatening phone calls? And was key evidence seriously just sitting in a sheriff's office storage locker for nearly 35 years? We had a lot of questions about the Prewitt case, but not nearly as many as we still have after we've each watched legendarily unsettling HBO doc There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane several times. What exactly prompted supermom and cable exec Diane Schuler to down 10 shots and drive the wrong way on a highway? How does her avenging sister-in-law get her hair to do that thing it does? And is the fact that we'll never know for sure what makes this case so compelling? Like Loni Coombs says up top, sometimes you don't get answers, but we're asking anyway in the latest The Blotter Presents.
