In today's episode, I'm joined by Noel Coakley, someone I've known from a distance since high school. Back then, he was just my friend's cool older brother, but little did I know, he had already started his meditation journey in 1996. Fast forward to today, and Noel is blending Buddhism, psychology, meditation, and trauma-informed Western psychology to support his clients. He's also the founder and director of the Boston Center for Contemplative Practice.Noel's approach to wholeness, both in life and in his work, really resonates with me, and I was excited to explore how these teachings can deepen our understanding of ourselves. In this episode, we dive into the spiritual aspects of parenting, how Buddhism can inform our approach to life and leadership, and Noel shares a transformational practice that really aligns with shadow work.Noel discusses his work, emphasizing the importance of unconditional love and the concept of Buddha nature. He shares a practice called Guru Yoga, which involves visualizing an unconditional loving being to reconnect with one's inherent wholeness. The conversation highlights the integration of spirituality and therapy, the challenges of parenting, and the ongoing practice of self-awareness and compassion. Noel hosts annual retreats, courses, and more - make sure to connect with Nore for more. I'm Jenn Reilly, your host and guide on a journey of deepening into the full complexity and simplicity of our human experience. As a coach, mentor, and advocate for women's rights, I'm passionate about supporting women—especially those navigating the shifts of motherhood and leadership—on their path to embodied wholeness. Through my own transformative journey, catalyzed by early motherhood and postpartum, I've learned that true wholeness means embracing every part of ourselves: the strengths, the challenges, and everything in between. It's about honoring our cycles, aligning with our unique design, and cultivating self-trust and support as we move through life. On this podcast, we explore the deep and sometimes messy human experience—tending to our bodies, minds, and spirits in a way that is conscious, compassionate, and attuned. Whether you're seeking to heal generational patterns, deepen your leadership, or find more balance in your life, Raising Wholeness is a space where we can evolve together. If you're ready to move from surviving to thriving, to lead from a place of wholeness, and to model this for the next generation, you're in the right place. Thank you for joining me on this journey. This is the final episode under Mystics Rising—and the first step into something new.Today, I'm sharing why I'm closing this chapter and shifting into Raising Wholeness, a space where we explore the subtleties of the human experience—how we, as women, attune to our whole selves, nurture our growth, and consciously tend to wholeness in both mind and body.In this episode, I talk about:✨ Why I felt called to rebrand the podcast and shift into Raising Wholeness✨ How Raising Wholeness is rooted in feminine maturation and the wisdom of navigating both the tender and powerful aspects of being a woman✨ How my personal work at Raising Wholeness—as a byproduct of my own alchemy and evolution—supports women in leadership, especially those navigating early motherhood and postpartum✨ The importance of rewriting our stories, stepping into deep self-awareness, and embracing embodiment and transformationThis podcast is an invitation to honor the full human experience —mind, body, and soul. It's about embracing our cycles, evolving through transformation, and creating space for ourselves to live from a place of wholeness.Thank you for being here. Let's step into this next chapter together.

When we reparent our younger parts with unconditional love, we not only heal our inner children, we start to build a relationship and an embodied knowing of unconditional love. AND love as the Holy Mother and Beloved Father, the divine feminine and the divine masculine. These are universal principles/energies that we all have access too. And the imprint of how we start to understand this love from the universe is through the imprinting of our parents. Cultivating a relationship with unconditional love is deeply healing, heals our younger parts, and informs our way of being and loving. In this solo episode, I share some of the work I do with my clients on healing through cultivating a relationship with unconditional love. Check out this beautiful exploration into council, collective healing, belonging, connecting to our roots, and embracing the shadow. Council creates space for practicing speaking from the heart, opening to spontaneity, and cultivating deep listening. Through council, we hear stories of the collective consciousness of the group, and each story has insights into our own healing. Lillian has used this practice with kids, women's groups, prisons, and corporate America, the benefits of this practice can be applied to anyone looking to build community. Lillian Söderman has spent over a decade facilitating circles and is certified in a process called Council. She left her career as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor to pursue the practice. In this episode, we explore spiritual emergence, through the lens of transpersonal psychology, and holotropic states of being. I love how Jay points out the play on words between Spiritual Emergence and Spiritual Emergency. The initiation into our own spiritual awakening is about what is coming in and through us, and often this embodied experience can leave us with a sense of emergency/urgency of how to live from this new way. In the mid-90s, Jay followed experiences of spiritual emergence into the experiential doctoral program at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Until transitioning into his roles for Grof Legacy Project, Jay has primarily worked as a lawyer/mediator while teaching and supervising dissertation research in transpersonal psychology. Jay has assisted the facilitation of holotropic breathwork in the US, Canada, UK, India and China and is a certified Grof® Breathwork Facilitator. He will act as a Director and Secretary-Treasurer for the Project and is particularly interested in developing the research branch of Grof Legacy Project, including projects using the lens of archetypal astrology to examine correlations between nonordinary state experiences and indications from transit and natal charts. Jay currently divides his time between Helena, Montana, and Los Angeles. Along with colleagues, Jay will assist in the development of Grof® Breathwork workshops and Grof Legacy Project training opportunities in southern California and various other parts of the United States, as well as developing online programs in Stan's work.Episode Resources:Upcoming classes with Grof Legacy Project: https://www.grof-legacy-project-usa.org/Book: Moving through Grief, Reconnecting with Nature by Jay Dufrechou - https://www.amazon.com/Moving-through-Reconnecting-Nature-Muswell/dp/1908995106Resources for spiritual emergency -Finding community (nature groups, yoga groups, healing groups)Spiritual emergence Network - http://www.spiritualemergence.org/Developing an internal sense of safety and trustMystic-rising.com for more.Mystics Rising is a platform for rising healers and leaders infusing spirituality into their work. In this episode, we explore the intersection of spirituality and advocacy with Shani Nicole, The Empath Realist. Through her own inner work, integrating shadows, generational and cultural trauma, Shani has built a platform to help others deepen into their spiritual practice in order to come to advocacy work from a healed, centered, and grounded place. Through healing, we embody the change that we seek to create in the world. Shani is an Artist, Educator, a Creative Consultant, Public Speaker, Spiritual Coach, and Writer and creator of "The Empathic Realist,” a platform to find avenues and access to collective healing and re-education for all oppressed communities around the globe, where she challenges & critiques systems and ideologies through critical thinking, scholarly research, intuitive guidance and by interacting with communities across the globe. These practices allow her to hold space for downloading unbiased opinions by looking through an empathic, compassionate, & humanist lens, in order to uncover the root issues and failures across societies; on a local, national and international basis.
