    Right vs. Left? Or, Sane vs. Crazy?

    What happened to the argument of Right vs. Left? Or Democrat vs. Republican? We're now into sane vs. crazy. Government is impersonal and does not have a brain nor a soul. In fact, it has no heart. Government will not help without strings attached. Want that free money to show up in a bank account without working, and they call it unemployment help? Okay, they will give that  out, but in exchange  for that, the following year we will get inflation, food shortages, businesses reducing their hours or closing, lack of supply, lack of a work ethic amongst the young and able bodied, and millions of the younger generation with way too much free time. Idle time, the result of paying people to stay home and not have a purpose for each day, and lacking the benefit from the respect and self worth that doing a good job brings,  results in mischief, mayhem, and troublemaking that the rest of us have to endure. When people help one another, person to person, in the exchange there are all sorts benefits: empathy, compassion, assistance, aid. Sometimes there is also instruction, correction, idea sharing, and a job offered, or job help offered, or hearing the words "job well done". When government tries to help people, the outcome is always worse than the problem; the solution is more painful than the problem. The right, or those who are sane, or what the mainstream media likes to call the far right extremists, are simply people who want: * the ability to own firearms to protect ourselves and our families, and should it come to it, to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government that wants to see us in indentured servitude to the few elites. * to be able to present our grievances to the government, without fear of retribution or fear of punishment . Those to who present their grievances to government and are punished for it do not live in a democracy or in a constitutional republic. They live in a socialist Marxist state. * the ability to practice our religion as we see fit* the freedom of the press*the freedom to peaceably assemble*the right not to be over-taxedThese kinds of people are now called extremists. The left can't tell us what a woman is, want to teach our kids CRT in school, which is just another name for socialist Marxism, teaching kids to judge each other on the basis of skin color, and teaches us teaches kids to hate one another instead of respecting each other.Our country, led by the mainstream media and big tech, has been hijacked by the radical left and they're doubling down on crazy. Violent criminals that burned our cities in the summer of 2020 are protected while victims are punished and incarcerated. They want the police defunded and the border wide open. It's backwards... it's crazy.We no longer have a country of Right vs. Left.     The Freedom to Assemble: We Must Gather. Yes, Meet With Others, Plan, Party, and Pray. Go To The Sporting Event. Go To Church. Get Out of Your “Safe Space”, and Meet With Others. We must gather together to protect and uphold our very civilization, and all that it means to be human. These last almost 3 years since our horrible governments reaction to covid, since March of 2020 when the governor of WA state forced the closure of the bars and restaurants, but left pot shops, liquor stores, and strip clubs open, we have lost the simple yet profound practice of getting together, at sporting events, restaurants, homes, churches and working with our colleagues in person. There is something lost when we are not together, and something profound happens when we are. We must overcome the fear, habit, or maybe it's just laziness of not getting together. We need to gather together because this is one of the hallmarks of freedom.This year is the first year in 3 years that the WA state legislature is meeting in person. They shut down in 2020, closed the doors of the capital building, and took the lockdown experiment to extreme levels, even going so far as to building a fence around the capital. I know they did this at the federal level also, building a fence around the peoples house. And what was lost at the state level for doing this? Personal contact, private conversations, who knows what “zoom” knows when we have these on line meetings? Our privacy was robbed from us, as we were "required" to lockdown and hibernate from one another. On line interaction takes away empathy, feeling, the ability to communicate more effectively with the non-verbal cues, and reduces the humanity from the interaction. It gives those in authority who do not want to listen to an opinion the ability to drop the line, cut off the connection, or make the Internet reception run a foul.Talking in person with someone is so much more that the verbal words that are spoken, it's the facial expressions, tone of voice, and just observing the essence and the humanity of the person that we are interacting with. Electronic communication, social media, and on line communication take away our humanity and reduce us to robotic machines, and it's much harder to insult someone face to face than to post a mean or rude comment on a social media platform. Meeting in person soothes the interactions, and removes some of the potential for misunderstandings and the temptation to be rude, mean, or hateful. Gathering to gather is a sign of freedom, liberty, free thinking, and mental health. Isolated people get weird and odd ideas that are not based in reality.Gathering to gather gives life meaning clarity, and joy. Community and living life with others in person are what holds us together, keeps us sane, and helps us to lighten up and find some joy and laughter in the midst of life. Joy, embracing, holding each other up, laughing together, eating together, praying together, fellowshipping with those who have common interests with us are what makes us so free in our Western culture. These things on the surface seem so simple and so basic, but that is exactly why they are so powerful. This is where the power of people comes from, the ability to gather, to peaceably assemble. We must not forsake the gathering together, as some have made a habit of doing. The freedom of assembly is literally what holds us together.     SHORT: Biden Student Loan "Forgiveness" Part II

    Biden's student debt "forgiveness" plan is still tied up in court. The US Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case on Feb. 28, 2023. Those who owe this debt are still waiting for the government to decide if a portion of their debt can be erased from their responsibility, and put on the backs of the US taxpayers. Last year, on November 10th, 2022, 2 days after our national election day, and just past the time to let those gullible and vulnerable voters know that student debt forgiveness was ruled unlawful, a US District Judge ruled that Biden's debt forgiveness plan flopped, and has been overruled by a US District court. And Friday Nov. 11th, 2022 the Biden admin ceased to accept applications for federal student loan forgiveness so those who were holdouts and were hoping that their student debt, or a portion of their student debt, was going to be forgiven should not even bother to apply anymore. Some who think they may have gotten past the preliminary round of the application process are still holding out.. So the College loan debt of $1.75 TRILLION dollars for a college education where only 46% of those who graduate work in their field of study is still owed by those who borrowed it, for now. So all this to say is that 40 million borrowers, who may have paused paying their student loans back, are waiting until Feb 28th, well, into March 2023 to see what the Supreme Court says. This is snagged up I court for now, but going beyond the legal question of this debt “forgiveness”, it's also important that we address the ethical and moral aspect of this horrible idea. If a student borrowed money to go to college and thought it was a good idea to borrow it, or were under pressure from their parents to borrow it, if have any ethical responsibility, any sense of moral duty, they should pay it back. To ask the American taxpayer, many who did not attend college but yet are paying taxes, to pay their debt is unethical, and putting their debt burden upon someone who did not go to college, or someone who did go to college and paid for it…. Is stealing. It's taking what is not rightfully theirs, and asking someone else, the American taxpayer, to take on this debt and pay it back for them. And many of those who want to defend this debt that was perceived to be put upon them unfairly say these young adults borrowed the money when they were young and they didn't really know what they were doing, maybe their parents helped them go into debt by taking out these large loans, etc., and they just didn't understand what they were doing. We understand that. The federal college loan program is absolutely corrupt and predatory on younger people who don't understand what debt will do to their lives.The real answer is to stop the federal student loan program altogether. That's the real answer.     Citizenship, Open Borders, & The Middle Class

    Citizenship, Open Borders, and the Middle Class Only just over 1/2 of the people on the planet today enjoy citizenship status in their own countries. Others are subjects, or serfs, or otherwise live at the whim and desires of a ruling class, dictatorship, or other overlords who grant them little to no freedoms. WHAT IS a citizen? Citizens vote, make their own laws, choose our own punishment, determine tax rates, travel about freely from city to city and state to state, work where we want, eat what we want and as much or as little as we want, live how we want, own property, are protected by a citizen-friendly military, and enjoy endless hours of entertainment & free time. Citizens in a free country have little concept of lack, starvation, shortages, and rationed electricity and power.No one man or woman serves another man or woman without pay or compensation, and citizens are free to earn as little or as much money as they want to. Citizens can choose their economic class and status in life. The USA is the longest running nation under the same Constitution in the history of the world. No other nation like this has ever existed. Our innovation, inventions, prosperity, health, wealth, and success is unmatched in the history of the world. The erosion of the middle class is key to destroying a republic and the Constitution.     Stop Hating on Politicians & Police For the Good of Our Nation

    Hating on Politicians and The Police is Ruining our CountryHating on any profession that our country needs for its survival is a bad idea, because it denigrates and demoralizes the very people that we need to hold the fabric of our nation together. When politicians, the police, doctors, lawyers, business owners, CEOs, and everyone else who participates in society including all the people that work in the trades, manufacturing, agriculture, and everything else that is absolutely vital for the health and well-being of a group of people, get bashed, demonized, demoralized and ridiculed, this destroys a nation. During the summer of 2020 when our rotten governor of Washington state declared who was essential and who was nonessential in our economy, and when he dictated who could work and who couldn't work, this was devastating to the health and well-being of so many people, and has wrecked the economy.     Welp! The US District Judge ruled that Biden's debt forgiveness plan, which was really used to get some votes for the Democrat party this election cycle, has flopped, and has been overruled by a US District court. And guess what the date was that this ruling came out ?     Was Pres. Trump Successful In Draining The Swamp? No. But The American Giant Has Been Awakened

    Was President Trump successful in draining the swamp, as he told us he would do while campaigning for president in 2016? That's to be debated, however, he did make it an important foundational principle, exposed it over and over again in great detail, exposed the fake news media,exposed the Socialism, Marxism, and Communism that has gotten a hold of many in our nation, especially in the K-12 schools and universities,and given millions of patriotic Americans who love our nation the courage and boldness to speak out.  He barely scratched the surface of draining the swamp, but he did spark a revolution of change to return to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and his ideas and policies are being trumpeted by many candidates running at the state and national levels in this next 2022 election. Over 1000 school boards nation wide were taken back from leftist Marxists who hate kids, over 5,000,000 children have left the public school system before and since our government's terrible reaction to covid started in March of 2020, and many are calling this election in 2022 the year of the parent. Virginia saw an amazing flip from blue to red, and I believe this next election coming up in November is going to be a tidal wave of red at the local, state, and national levels. America is waking up, and realizing we must preserve this beautiful nation.No, I don't think President Trump made a dent in the system to drain the swamp. However, he was largely responsible to awaken a giant, called the American people that still believe in patriotism, hard work, the nuclear family, loving and supporting and protecting families and children, and doing what's best for our communities, for not bringing harm to our neighbor, and for leaving our neighborhoods, out counties, our states and our nation better than we found it.     Student Loan "Forgiveness": Universities Should "Forgive" The Debt, Biden Buying Votes, and Why Should The Taxpayer Pay This Back?

    No one forced anyone to borrow for college……and yes, I do have some empathy for these young adults — 18 to 22 years old, that were told to get ahead and to succeed in life that they needed to go to college. But now saddled with a mountain of debt, which was by design to enslave the next generation to the government, who is really responsible to pay it back?Does Biden have the authority to "forgive" student loan debt? And this is not forgiveness, but a transfer of the debt to the American taxpayer. Is college worth it? This is a question that needs to be asked, and the answer of the why go to college? And, only 60% of men and women who start college finish to get that degree, and of the 60% of those who finish, 40% of them say their degree wasn't worth it because of the debt, or because they are not working in the field that their degree was in, or they didn't learn enough real world skills to use once they got out of college.     Fear, Anxiety, Pursuit of Safety, Karen's, Cowards, Helplessness, and Tyranny…Lead to Slavery. Living Dangerously & Taking Risks Lead To Freedom. Make A Choice.

    Fear and the pursuit of safety do not produce peace, and only rob us of what we are looking for. The reason that our government could shut down an entire nation because of a virus is because people were willing to be ruled by fear, and gave up many freedoms and liberties for what they thought would be safety. Thank you to  AcademyofIdeas.com  and their “After School” video on Rumble for many of the points made in this podcast. This desire and craving for ""safety" leads to tyranny, and a people who are eventually ruled by tyranny. This quest for safety, an illusive, hard to define, hard to determine characteristic from person to person, and leads to an aversion to risk taking, and the stunting of growth of a person, family, community & nation.Self determination and risk taking have been sacrificed in the name of safety, which leads to weakness, fear, and wanting to be taken care of as a normal state of mind. Individual and social flourishing can only happen if people are willing to take risks, step out of comfort zones, and be willing to be uncomfortable to accomplish tasks and goals that require risk taking. The quest for safety never produces safety.Many societies in the past did not think of safety as a primary virtue, but understood that risk taking and building families and nations, which take  courage, fortitude, and persistence, was a far more virtuous way to live than in the confines and false security of safety. When a large group of people cowering in fear, retreating for safety, and hiding in the face of danger, attempt to find this safety they will soon be overrun by a dictator and be ruled by those who will happily practice tyranny over them. The “safe” road is fertile soil for totalitarian regimes. When a society promotes safety to the highest priority, then freedom is diminished or even lost, and this safety due to fear ushers in tyranny. These tyrants,  promising safety and security, only strip the people of freedom and flourishing, and give them bondage and oppression. The motive of those who have displayed courage is care and concern for others, and care for our future society. A coward demands for his or her own safety, puts safety as the top priority, and forces others to conform to their own neurotic ways. We've come to label these people Karen's, those withered and timid souls who insist on safety, but are willing to sacrifice all freedom and liberty, and to insist everyone around them also sacrifice their freedoms and liberties, But the outcome of all this safety seeking will never achieve the safety that they are so madly wanting. As Friedrich Nietzsche said, “The secret to harvesting from existence the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoying is to live dangerously. “In John 16:33 Jesus is speaking, and he says: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.     We just had the primary election here in WA, and voter turnout, as usual, was low, at about 40%. Primary elections for the mid-term elections typically have low voter turnout, and there are a number of possible reasons for this. Mid-term elections have a higher voter turnout in our state, on average about 63% since 2000.Presidential election years have about an 80% registered voter turnout here in WA since the year 2000. And about 60% of the eligible voting age population votes. Should primary voters vote? Why should voters vote in the primary? There are 2 sides to this issue regarding the primary here in WA. First of all, we should explain what a primary election is and why the one in WA is so messed up. We have what some have called a jungle primary here in WA. In all other states except 3 or 4, to vote in the primary a voter must choose to vote on a Republican ballot or a Democrat ballot, and only one parties' candidates appear on that ballot. In 2004, Washington became the first state to adopt a top-two primary system for congressional and state-level elections. California followed suit in 2010. In Nebraska, a top-two primary system is utilized for state legislative elections, but this really is a non issue because Nebraska's state legislature is nonpartisan. In 2020, Alaska voters approved a ballot initiative establishing a top-four primary.So of course, WA led the way in this unusual and dysfunctional method of holding it's primary elections. Some believe, in theory but not in reality, this approach would focus on the individual in the race, instead of political parties. In reality, it's often that the top two candidates are of the same political party, disenfranchising voters who do not see their party's candidate make it to the general election ballot. For example, there was a hot primary race this month in the 3rd congressional district here in WA State , where a patriot and Pres. Trump endorsed candidate Joe Kent was going up against Jaime Herrera Beutler, who has been in the the Republican incumbent for 6 terms, since 2011.Joe Kent, one of her primary Republican challengers, pulled it out with only 1096 votes over Jamie Herrera Butler. The candidate field was diluted with a whole bunch of Republicans, which is another problem in Washington state because so many times the Republicans shoot themselves in the foot because they have way too many Republicans in a single race, diluting the vote.What if those 1,096 voters who support Joe Kent decided that their vote doesn't really matter, and didn't vote?     Student Loan Debt: The Blight on America

    College loan debt now totals $1.75 TRILLION dollars for a college education where only 46% of those who graduate work in their field of study. And if these young 18 to 22 year olds keep taking out student loans at the current rate, the student loan blight in the United States will be $6.4 TRILLION in 10 years, in 2032.We have got to stop this enslaving of the next generation of young adults into the trap of debt, and the lie that getting a costly college degree with no plan before they enter college or what they will do with their degree once they happen to finish college, will result in a very dangerous and enslaving lifestyle for most of their adult lives. College debt is a blight on our nation, and a curse that keeps on giving to the next generation of college kids that enter colleges and 4 year universities every year, with no plan on how they are going to repay that debt. Prov.22:7  “The borrower is slave to the lender.” “When you get in debt you become a slave.”—Andrew Jackson, the 7th president of the USAIs college worth it? This is a question that needs to be asked.     The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution says: The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Translation: The right to keep and bear guns & ammo, armament, knives, clubs, hammers, and other weapons shall not be encroached upon by law or encroached upon the rights of another to keep and bear arms.The Bill of Rights of the Constitution MAINTAINS this right, it does not GIVE us this right. Creator God who made us gives us this right, and our Constitution is to make sure that it stays in place for our country's citizens. Here I outline the 2 issues going on in our country: One is the problem of mass shootings, which is not a gun problem, but a heart problem.  Broken families, unstable moms, kids emotionally detached, fatherlessness, psychotropic drugs handed out like candy, and thousands of hours of porn & violent video games are the problem. And two, the 2nd amendment is to keep those in government in check who would want to abuse their power, not to ensure hunters can hunt. The founders of our nation did not add the 2nd amendment to the Bill of Rights to protect hunting. They just gained their freedom from Great Britain because of the gun. And the NRA is not to blame.     The Second Amendment to the Constitution, the right to keep and bear arms, has been hotly debated in our nation for decades, as we erode as a culture, and as our society gets more and more progressive and more and more infiltrated by  leftists, who hate freedom and all that it entails, including the law abiding citizen to own guns. As we drift further from the brilliant Constitution and the genius Biblical foundation on which it came from and rests upon, the topic of gun ownership in the United States has risen to the forefront. Those who wrote the 2nd Amendment just not return from a successful hunting trip, but had just defeated the most powerful group of people at that time in the world: Great Britain. They defeated Great Britain because of a love of freedom, and they obtained this freedom because they were armed. The legally armed citizens in the United States are the largest army in the world, and the rest of the nations of the world know this.     After high school, where do the men go? These young men, the future muscle and manpower of our country? Where are the men? I know there is a culture war raging right now in our high schools and universities, and men are in women's sports, and a man managed to be named “Woman of the Year” by USA Today, and all the while the adults in the room stand by silently aside while the manhood of the young adult men in our country is crucified.But where are these men going to be in 5, 10, 15, 20 years from now when our nation needs them to be the muscle, the manpower, the husbands of wives, the strength of the family, the CEO's of all that is important and good? We've not taught our young boys to protect women, respect women, be good to women because they are their future wives and future mothers of this nation. We have not taught them how to have relationships, solve problems using words instead of physical violence, and taught them how to manage their emotions. We've allowed them to play violent video games for years during their developmental years, and then wondered why they cannot have a simple “hi, how are you?” entry level conversation with another human being, why they choose aggression and violence to deal with their problems, and why they cannot reason their way through life for the benefit of themselves and others.  We have got to stop mocking, deriding, and putting down men who want to be men, and we have got to stop affirming men who act like, dress like, and who try and be women! That is not possible. A cow cannot be a duck, and a horse cannot be an eagle. We all have limitations. How to we turn the tide, and how do we roll back the clock to get back to Men being men and women being women? There are thousands of solutions and all of them are good. Affirm your sons to be men, and act like men, and when they are boys and curious about girl things, explain to them what those things are and how the world is supposed to work, but teach them and affirm in them that they are boys, no matter how they feel in childhood, or the confused, difficult, trying years of being a teenager and young adult. If you are a woman, please respect the men you know, regardless of their mistakes and past. We as women want to be loved regardless of our performance and mistakes, please show the men you know the respect they crave despite how they may sometimes act and regardless of their past mistakes. This is how we want to be treated as women. Let's do the same for the men in our lives. Of course if you're being abused by a man I am not talking to you, but I'm talking to the women who have good men in their lives, men who work hard, love them, are not lazy, and who want what's best for themselves and their families, and have purpose and drive to make this country better.Responsible men earn a living with their own skills and their own hands, and do not accept government money in the form of unemployment and government “stimulus” checks, which is just training for Socialism while rewarding laziness. Statistically, no wars were won, no nation founded, no nations built, and no countries sustained and maintained, and no family succeeded for generations, without good men. Sorry women, yes, we have also played a vital role and worked just as hard, but the foundation and bedrock of any good nation is it's masculine men, despite what you may have thought after watching the “Wonder Woman” movie. Statistically it is a fact that men have been the foundation of any success, society, nation, or movement. If we are wise women, we will realize this and support the good and manly men amongst us. It's time to honor the men and their life-affirming masculinity, before we completely lose our families, our communities, and our nation.

    This outcry and policy decisions made by our government to protect the Climate, to what ends?What is all this hysteria over the climate? Our own governor here in our state says Climate change is his TOP priority? Really? Why? Climate change in his priority ranking is number one and this is absolutely ridiculous. What about jobs, inflation, the high price of gasoline, roads and bridges that are falling apart, traffic congestion, high cost of housing, and all the other more pressing matters that face citizens here in our state?Buy an electric car - which costs on average $56,000. This is not the best solution to "save the planet", and is powered by a very big lithium battery that is not recyclable.According to recent polling, the Democrats greatest concern was climate change, followed by election laws and inflation. The Republicans greatest concern was inflation, followed by immigration and crime. At the bottom of concerns for the Republicans was climate change. Why is the Democrats #1 concern at the absolute bottom of the list for Republicans? What is this worry, this obsession, this rabid fixation with the climate for the left, for the far left democrats?After my 16 years in Olympia with my husband while he was serving in the WA State Legislature, I figured out, which is very obvious now, that to the Democrats the climate is a religion. To the Republicans it's just sunshine, rain, weather, snow pack in the mountains that will benefit us in the summers,  and agricultural production on croplands, among other topics when it comes to the climate. For those of you who remember back in the 1970s it was all about global cooling, which was supposed to be the beginning of the ICE AGE  we were all gonna freeze to death, the earth was going to freeze over in about 20 years, and we were all panicking because the earth wouldn't produce the food we needed because of global cooling.ONLY 14.6% of the world's land area has been modified by humans, according to research. Human impact on the Earth's surface can take a number of different forms, including cities and towns, to natural systems modification.So humans have not meaningfully impacted over 83% of the earths surface, this is the land only, not including all the water surface, And about 70% of the earth is covered in water, either salt water oceans or fresh water lakes, so how can these climate alarmists even think that the human population can warm or cool the earth by what we do, or what type of a car we drive? So to sum up the climate issue, it is just a fear mongering tactic used by the left to get us to become subject to their Marxist and Communistic ways, give up our freedom of mobility to own the kind of transportation we need, whether it be car, truck, motorcycle, or other, and to cripple our freedom of movement to be able to travel and live how we want. It's time to trust the God who made us, and  made our planet, and the sun, moon, stars, and solar systems, and that He knows what He is doing and He will sustain the planet.Yes we should be good stewards of what we've been given, but remember the climate hysteria is their religion . Again, as I've said in previous podcasts the Bible sums it up so well. Romans 1 says that they worship the created rather than the Creator, and this is to their shame. So while we supposed to be all worried about the climate and how we can save it…..haha….Be sure and get out into nature and enjoy it and drink in the beauty, landscape, and absolute splendor of this big beautiful earth that God created. 

    Why Your Son Should Consider a Trade School & Skip the University

    So many high school graduates, just like our own kids when they were that age, in their last two years of high school start to wonder “what am I gonna do with my life?”With pressure from their parents and the culture around them, and many high schools, they are forced to take the SAT test and try and get into a four-year university. But many of these teenagers don't realize is for more than half of them, approx. 55 % of them, this will result in a debt that they will take 20 years to repay in the form of student loans.It's time to steer our sons, & even daughters, but for the sake of this podcast I'm going to talk about our sons, towards trade school as a viable option after high school. 1. Trade school offers financial security.  Graduates of trade schools earn an average of $55,000 per year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).2. Trade schools generally take 1-2 years to complete, allowing young adults to enter the workforce more quickly. 3. Cost:  On average, a trade school education that takes 2 years to complete costs about $33,000. Now these figures are estimates, and it depends upon where in the country the trade school is located. On average, a 4-year degree at a public university costs about $84,000. So a better option may be to send your son to a trade school where he can get practical skills to earn him a living by the time he is 20 or 21 years old. Why so many in academia discredit trade schools: Why have they not been a viable, popular alternative for so many teenage men in our state and nation? Why is there a “less than” attitude about trade schools? Why trade schools are not widely discussed or promoted in public high schools: If more students attend trade schools instead of 4-year universities, where the average student spends 5 years, this cuts into the number of students paying into the universities' system to fund the professors salaries and pensions. It's all about the money, and the billions of dollars that flow into the universities. These are coveted dollars that the universities won't receive if a portion of young men decide to go to a trade school. 4. Avoiding debt: Trade school is a fabulous way to avoid long-term debt. Among the class of 2020, 55% of bachelor's degree recipients took out student loans, graduating with an average of $28,400 in debt. And 14% of parents with students in the class of 2019 — the latest data available — took out an average of $37,200 in loans.The ball and chain of decades-long debt that these young adults can avoid by getting a marketable, in-demand skill upon graduation from a trade school is huge, instead of getting a degree in some obscure subject, having no marketable skills, for jobs that don't exist, and having a mountain of debt with no earning power to pay it back. Secondary education should be about getting a marketable skill that has earning power upon graduation, not some 4 year “go find yourself” escape from reality where the college kid has a lot of fun, but spend a lot of time spinning their wheels doing nothing productive or beneficial to themselves as adults. The average student borrower takes 20 years to pay off student-loan debt!“...the borrower is slave to the lender.” Prov. 22:7So there are many reasons to encourage your sons to enter the trades. And, if these young men want to return to a university in the future for further education, they will be smarter and more mature to take on a 4-year degree or master's degree, and have a whole lot more understanding about working, the tax system, paying rent, and living  life when they do. https://studentloanhero.com/student-loan-debt-statistics/

    Trying to look for some good in the disastrous lockdowns and the closing of thousands of businesses imposed by our governor, here are some benefits that have come out of the mess:1. Gov. Inslee and the Democrats that control the House and the Senate here in the state of WA have been exposed for who they really are. They are hard leftists, trying to get us to be a socialist state as fast as they can. All rationale and reasoning are gone. Gov. Jay Inslee, before our governments horrid response to covid with lockdowns and school closures, had an approval rating of 47% and a “never heard of them”  rating at 22%. Now, the best data I could find shows Inslee's approval rating is at 40%. Inslee has been governor for 9 years and has never had a positive approval rating. But we all know that! The left has been exposed, who they are and what they stand for. They are for lockdowns, closing private businesses, calling nurses and first responders heroes to garner their votes, but throwing them under the bus and firing them when they don't want their bodies to be injected with an experimental substance that has not stood the test of time or scientific rigor.They are for closing the schools and masking all of us, and our children the longest,And here at the state level the state budget is expected to have $10 billion in excess revenue, but no plans in sight to cut taxes on us citizens, or to give us our money back in the form of a tax refund. 2. The mass exodus away from the public school system. Hooray!The WA Policy center here in WA state documents this very well. At washingtonpolicy.org, they state that there was a major increase in homeschooling in 2021. IT DOUBLED, while private school enrollment in our state also exploded.  Parents have seen public education up close, and they are not happy. Approx. 40,000 families have left the public school system since schools were shut down. 3. .Moms came home. Moms came home, by choice or due to desperation, and looked over the shoulders of their children while the kids were forced into “remote learning”, and the homeschooling revolution exploded. Critical Race Theory is another name for racism, and Black Lives Matter doesn't have much to do with black lives, but about pushing Marxism. And, many parents are now actively attending school board meetings, and many leftists and socialists on these school boards are being deeply questioned, and even booted off the school boards in the Nov. 2020 elections. Hooray again!As a percentage, parents are now much more deeply involved in their children's education. This is nothing but a huge positive for kids, and for our nation. 4. The explosion of alternative news sources. Voices on Telegram, Rumble, Twitter, and Gettr have expanded exponentially, along with podcasts, YouTube channels, websites, and thousands of churches now broadcasting their services on line. This is absolutely wonderful for America. Good bye mainstream media. 5. The rise of the citizen. People are talking about the U. S. Constitution, freedom, what the heart of America is and stands for, what freedom is,  and now citizens are deeply moved and awake to defend it. The next generation is fueled to defend and uphold their rights and freedom, as shown by the explosive growth of groups such as Turning Point USA, and the Young America's Foundation, and popular speakers such as Charlie Kirk & Candace Owens.     Mainstream media is dying, it's history, some of my personal news journey, and the World Wide Web....tune in to hear the story.CNN is crashing, big tech platforms are trying to cancel popular voices, the mainstream media is trying to sensor anything that is not leftist, and is freedom of speech being threatened in America? In this podcast I cover a sweeping history of the leftist news in our country, and some of my personal news journey of perceptions in this podcast. When I was a girl in the 60's and 70's, my parents had the TV on regularly every night for the 6 o' clock news with Walter Cronkite. He was the font of all knowledge and we sat dutifully in front of our TV set every night watching this man spout the daily news and what at that time we thought was the facts and truth of the day.No one question what he said, and we ran on the assumption that what he was telling others with based on fact and truth. Communication was slow, compared to today and unless we read it in the newspaper that we could buy each day in the new stands, or was delivered by the paper boy by being flung into our driveways, or watch it on TV each night at 6 PM, we really didn't know what was going on in the world. There was no way to find out what was going on in the mid-morning or midday or afternoon, we had to wait until the 5 o'clock local news and the 6 PM national news to hear from Walter Cronkite,  David Brinkley and others what we were going to know about the nation in the world. ABC, NBC, and CBS were our 3 main TV choices.Then in 2007 the iPhone really exploded on the scene. This was the first year of the iPhone really becoming huge, accessible to every person and now the iPhone was so much more than a phone.In the mid to late 2000s, 2011, 2012, there was a huge explosion of bloggers, news and opinion websites, and alternative news sources that you could read and subscribe to. At that time, many of us began to realize that the mainstream media of the 60s and 70s and 80s was really the leftist machine that pumped into America an ideological anti- Constitutional viewpoint, driving us to the left, driving us away from the Constitution, and driving us toward Socialism and communism. Few of us realized this because we relied on the 6 o'clock news from ABC, NBC, and CBS. We didn't realize we were being misled over a series of decades, and fed a load of socialist and communist ideologies because we had nothing else to compare it to. We also learned that Walter Cronkite was a one-worlder and said the smartest president he ever met was Jimmy Carter. When the World Wide Web was ushered in in the 2000s, many people didn't like it because along with that came a lot of garbage, trivia, and mind numbing, time wasting stuff to look at,  but what also came with the World Wide Web is the ability to find the truth, and for the average American with a microphone to say the truth.In the last couple months it's been in the news that CNN executives have been asked to leave and have disappeared from the landscape of media because of indiscretions in their lives. This is no surprise. For when you spend a lifetime lying to the people, deceiving the people, and coercing the people to try and get them to believe that what they're saying is the truth but is really just a propaganda machine for the socialist left, these sins will eventually find you out. And so the mainstream media is dying, because there are thousands of reputable, truth telling people and news groups, both using the written word on the Internet and the spoken word through videos & podcasts on many platforms. We have the choice now to tune our ears to the truth, and to focus our eyes on what is right. "....in all your getting, get understanding."     Is being non partisan possible? What about being independent when it comes to politics and government? What is non- partisan? What does an independent stand for?Where can we find a list of their beliefs, their platform, their values? It's hard to determine, but they will be steadfast and resolute in their non-partisanship and in their being an independent.An article written by Pew Research attempts to answer this question: "Political Independents: Who They Are, What They Think".Most ‘lean' toward a party; ‘true' independents tend to avoid politicsSo these middle independents , these non-partisan people aren't really all that neutral in their beliefs and politics, they lean left or right, but they may be avoiding politics because of the personalities on each side…not wanting to identify with Trump on the right or Biden on the left.It's difficult to have a functioning free country with this middle when we need standards and values and a Constitutional basis for running a country for those who want to govern. Election cycles & the “non-partisans”: This “middle” has plagued campaign strategists and political consultants for years, and in every election campaign, and I have been intimately involved with 9 of them over 18 years, and I know that most campaign dollars and effort are spent to get the attention of this middle, these “non-partisan” people, the undecideds, those who call themselves independent, those in the middle who's vote is coveted and decides elections. Judges: When judges are supposed to be non-partisan, ideally it means that they are asked to put aside their own personal judgements and opinions, and decide a case based solely on the merits and facts of the situation, using the law and the Constitution to do so.Thanks to covid, and the horrible response of our state & federal government to it, many people now have woken up to the fact that who is governor matters, and how our government is supposed to function matters. It has shoved these people out of the mushy middle, and taken away their ability to avoid these topics and these subjects. These dupes in the middle are the ignorant “non partisan” being used by whoever is in power to control the country .  And these dupes, the non-partisans, the independent, the non-committal, have been used by the left and the progressives to unravel and undermine the Constitution, and America, for a century. In the book “Dupes. How America's Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century ”,  by New York Times bestselling author Paul Kengor, discusses these dupes and how America's adversaries around the world have manipulated the progressives, whom he calls dupes, for a century. Many have discovered that being involved is the only way to change it for the better. It matters who holds these positions in our government that the founders so beautifully set up for a free and moral people.     It's Time to Move On: WA vs. AZ, Covid & our personal story about losing a job

    I feel a slow turning of the tide back to freedom liberty and those who are fighting for our constitutional rights. In the 44 states that have moved forward, people are living with the fact that Covid will be here for awhile, and that viruses have been with us for thousands of years. They have weighed the benefits vs. risks, and moved on. It's time for the state of WA to move on also. WE are now over 650 days of Inslee's one man rule of our state, and its time to move on as citizens, and demand the legislature have some oversight when it comes to the governor's ability to declaring an emergency. In Arizona where I recently visited, restaurants are open, with no masks required. The only restaurant staff that are wearing masks is if the restaurant is part of a national chain. The locally owned restaurants are mask free. Stores and shops are all mask free. Again, if they are a national chain, the only ones wearing a mask are the employees. WA is one of only 6 states requiring masks, and the ONLY state with an outdoor mask mandate! It is only 1 of 6 states to require certain workers to get the mRNA injections. This includes all state agencies, operators of any educational setting, and operators of any healthcare setting. How do we move on from here?*Stop wearing a mask. This is like keeping the flies out of your back yard picnic BBQ with a chain link fence.  Viruses are extremely tiny particles and the weave of a mask is no barrier to a virus. *Realize your own health is in your own hands, and the government does not care about your health. If they did, they would come out with messages telling us to eat balanced diets, take supplements and vitamins, exercise, lose excess weight, stop smoking and vaping, and get the sleep you need. *Insist that the legislature this January 2022 when they go into session have a top priority of reigning in the governor's power, and provide oversight to his unchecked power. *Don't be controlled by the fear. I was in King Co this week, and there are still people driving around in their cars by themselves wearing a mask. The fear must be so hard to live with, so sad, and so unnecessary. People who make decisions out of fear make poor decisions. Arm yourself with the facts, and don't let fear into the mix. *Allow for each of us to make our own health care choices. We all know the risks, the availablility of the shot; it's free at grocery stores and drug stores, and we have all made our choices. Its time to move on and talk about something else. And I want to give a shout out to those of you who walked away from, or got fired from, careers you loved because you would not take the injection. Good for you. My husband and I walked that same path 25 years ago, when he left a job he loved doing because of circumstances he could not control, and it was heartbreaking and financially crushing at the time, and really stripped us of our confidence while we lived with an unknown future. I was not working at the time and our 3 kids were very young. But God had other plans for us. 16 years later and many twists and turns in our lives, he was WA State House Minority Leader and one of the most powerful people in elected state government. We could never have done that if he would have stayed in that job that he had 16 years earlier. God knows the future, and he can be trusted with it.  There are more of us than there are of them, so continue to speak up & speak out. It's time to move forward & with courage and conviction, LIVE!!

    The left IS EVERYTHING they claim they are against....educating our kids, gun rights,health care,justice,women's rights,law enforcement and the police,and even eating beef, the left embraces and practices everything they say they are against…. Hypocrisy at it's finest. The left is a bunch of pious hypocrites. Education: The left hates the parents showing up at school board meetings, and now that many conservatives are running for school boards across the nation, they are terrified that they will be exposed and the awful things they have been allowing to be taught to our children will continue to be revealed. Guns: If those on the left accuse those on the the right of wanting to exercise the 2nd amendment to our Constitution, the right to keep and bear arms, they do this while living behind heavily fenced, tall walled mansions with armed security guards. They are benefitting from the 2nd Amendment, and every law-abiding citizen should have this benefit. Healthcare- Heathcare is the individual's responsibility, and it is our sovereign right to decide what is or is not injected into our bodies. Justice-Case in point... big city rioting that happened the summer and fall of 2020, and very few law breakers were tried for it,  but the political prisoners of Jan. 6th are still are sitting in prison 10 months later with no trial date yet on the calendar. Women's rights, which they claim to fight for encouraging women to try and break the glass ceiling and break into a man's world when it comes to a career and achievements. Yet, a biological man was just named the first  transgender 4 star general …… and got the recognition and admiration for this, but which was stolen from a true woman who may achieve that in the future. Law enforcement and the police, including fire departments & first responders:These men and women have been hailed as heroes, & since Covid came on the scene, these people have been labeled heroes and thanked for their tireless & selfless service, But now, the left has defunded the police in many major cities, and stripped away from the citizens the protection they need and the strong arm of the law that so many of us are protected by? Eating beef! Do you know why Bill Gates and the left are so against beef? It's because eating beef produces testosterone in men and women. Attempting to define it, the methods to achieve it, and to know what the finish line will look like, it became an exercise in frustration. Equity, racial equity, social justice, and fairness….when listening to a leftist these are code words for socialism and Marxism. So can we have social justice? What is it?Several organizations and institutions provide their own definitions for social justice.     Columbus Day is the 2nd Monday in October. Who is he?Columbus is credited for discovering the Americas in 1492. His real achievement was that he opened the door for more exploration to a New World, and successfully put the Americas on the map. Columbus arrived 500 years ago, and 600 monuments and statues have been erected to him in the USA since we became a nation in 1776. He made 4 voyages from Europe heading west, to find a passage to Asia by sailing west.Cities and a large river in western United States, the Columbia River, were named in his honor, and even the seat of the United States government is was named the District of Columbia after Columbus. He was called  The Admiral of the Ocean Sea (Columbus's official title) was so important to the American essence of our culture, that one of the first vessels in the Navy was the USS Columbus.Based off of his words and his actions up until this point,  Columbus's plan for colonization had 4  key aspects:The establishment of a new trading empire in the Far East;Exclusion of all but Catholic Christians from the benefit of trade;Conversion of the natives to Christianity; andThe enslavement of hostile or recalcitrant natives, as a method of punishment and a source of profit.[xiii]Slavery, as it continuously was to Columbus, the last option and only to those who were defeated in war were taken as slaves. During this Age of Conquest, defeated people groups had two options: be killed or be taken as slaves. This was happening throughout the known world at this time, and slavery was the norm in the known world until the 18th century.His name Christopher means “Christ bearer”, and Columbus took this very seriously.Columbus did a total of 4 voyages by ship from Spain to the New World, and explored much of what we know now as the Carribbean and started the pursuit and the hot race of exploration of the Americas. And opened the door for the hundreds of explorers of this new world who came after him.     1st Amendment of the Bill of Rights: Freedom OF Speech, Not Freedom FROM Speech

    The freedom OF speech is not the freedom FROM speech, or from hearing speech that may be controversial or harsh, and in America under the 1st amendment to the constitution we are still allowed to say anything we want to say here in this country, and critique and criticize those in government, without fear of facing criminal punishment.  The first President of our nation, George Washington said, "if the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”The government was formed under the Constitution for 2 reasons: To protect our natural rights as citizens and to protect property rights. When the Constitution of the United States was ratified in 1788, it allowed for amendments that would clarify positions not clearly defined in the Constitution. In 1791 the first ten amendments were added to the Constitution. These ten amendments had to do with liberty and became known as the Bill of Rights, for they guarantee to the people of the United States certain individual liberties.First Amendment:  Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. freedom of speech is the right to say anything you want to without fear of criminal punishment.Which means anybody can say anything. People can say things that are full of wisdom, knowledge, and brilliance or people can say really stupid, dumb, even rebellious things against the government not fear criminal punishment.Billy Graham said "freedom of speech means nothing to the people who are too weak in their convictions to speak out against the evil that is eating at the heart of the nation like a cancer.”George Orwell, who wrote 1984 and Animal Farm, two books I was required to read in high school about the total control of communism in a totalitarian state, said "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”What we have today is the government that our founders warned us about, and the reason why our Constitution says what is says. The Constitution separates power into three equal branches of government. What is so important about the Constitution  and the Bill of Rights, known as the Amendments to the Constitution, is that those who wrote it understood human nature, and its tendency to govern by dictatorship and tyranny.  They understood human nature and if power is accumulated and possessed by a few people or one monarchy this quickly results in  totalitarianism & tyranny. The founders wanted to avoid this.Freedom of speech is the bedrock of a free people, and a free nation.  We must use this freedom to speak up and speak out about the truths that this country needs to hear. Call to action:*Attend school board meetings and make your voice be heard. *Learn history yourself and teach your children history and the miraculous founding of our country. * Support those in elected office who are upholding the freedoms and liberties of your state and our nation. Send them a campaign donation in their next re-relection, or support those newly running for office. * Run for office yourself if you are a freedom lover: school board, city council, county council, public utilities district commissioner, water district commissioner, city mayor. The local elected positions hold a lot of power over your local community. * Pray for those in elected leadership positions, and pray for your state leaders. * Be vocal about loving this big, beautiful nation!

It's not the government's job to monitor my health, tell me what to do with my body, and monitor it, where to work, what to eat, where to go and give me advice about our health. But their are two issues going on here. One is how to keep healthy, and the other is about preserving our freedoms and liberties as a republic under the Constitution. Obviously a political difference. If it was about a virus, why is the southern border open?

Because It's Your FutureThe tagline in my podcast says… I'm now sharing and discussing what “I've learned and experienced along with some historical context of where we are on the timeline of history”.Knowing history is knowing where you are. History is the map, history is the navigation system. History is the basis from which all decisions are made. Edmund Burke (1729-1797) “Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it.”The other key to knowledge and life that I learned is the further back that someone knows history the better off they will be. In an earlier podcast, #11, “Where do you get your news? How do you know it's the truth?” I talk about how to decipher the news of today. And so many people in America today only know the history, the very short history of their personal lives. Many people walking around today have a very short time span of historical knowledge.   Tyranny is the default, Tyranny is the natural state of most nations in the world today. Slavery, oppression, tyranny, and serving a dictatorial form of government is the norm in the world today. The United States of America is the most free, most prosperous, most liberating country in the history of the world. And we are dangerously close to losing it . A few people in the last couple of weeks have called us and said “Where are we going?” “What do you think all these events will lead to?”They also say: “I don't get it!”  What is happening? For those of us who know history, this is no surprise. As I said in my earlier podcast, #2, “Was this your wake up year?” That this stuff has been going on for hundreds of years, the rule by tyrants, and we as a nation started walking away from the Constitution in the early 1900's with Woodrow Wilson as president and with President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1930's and the New Deal. It's just your turn to wake up and realize it. So many are asking “where do you think our nation is going?” Of course nobody knows exactly where it's going but we have a few educated guesses is where it's going. A lot of what we've told them where it's going as we've just told them history.If you want to know where our nation is going the best answer to that question we've been asked is to study history.It's because we are the sum total of our history.     The 4 levels of government are meant to be executed and carried out well, in order to have a stable & prosperous country. But America is in trouble. In this podcast, Part I of II, the 4 levels of government are defined and discussed which are: *The government of the self  *The government of marriage between one man and one woman, which is the family & often includes children*The government of the Judeo-Christian church *Civil government.…the government of a group of people who share a common geography. Why is our nation in such trouble, and our federal government is just about shipwrecked?It is because the first three forms of government are so battered, broken, bruised, and messed up.  By the time the fourth form of government is supposed to govern- the civil government,  it's so crippled because the foundation of the first three that our civil government rests on are not functioning properly. Civil government can never solve the problems of the lack of government at the individual, family, and church levels.What we can do?Mother Teresa said:“If you want to bring peace to the whole world, go home and love your family.”- Mother Teresa, the famous Catholic nun who worked in the slums of Calcutta, India for decades. This is the heart of what the Bible teaches, and she is addressing the first and second forms of goverment, the individual and the family. This is the foundation in which a country rests. The world works to destroy these God given forms of government……It's why China had a one-child policy for years……to destroy the family. It's one reason why abortion is hailed and funded in America……to destroy the family.It's why no fault divorce was passed into law in our country …….to destroy the family. Mothers and fathers need to take the responsibility to educate our own children, and oversee with diligence their education. Marriage between one man and one woman needs to respected and honored. No other set up will produce emotionally, mentally, and spiritually healthy  individuals and children.Honor, respect, and submitting our lives to the loving and good God who made us needs to characterize our lives if we want a stable nation. The next step is to step out of our homes and get involved in our communities. Like I say every podcast, attend school board meetings, support conservative and law abiding candidates who are running for the water district, fire district, municipal court, Public utility district, sheriff, school board, city Council, county council, and state legislature whose values you respect and want to see in your community. If there's no one on the ballot doing this, put your name on the ballot and run for these positions.Other ideas: Have a neighborhood meeting and get to know your neighbors. Put together a neighborhood watch group, and invite local law enforcement to the meeting and let them know you support them and are on their team. Help them by being a caring citizen in your community, making their job easier. Is there hope? Yes, as the Bible clearly says that God is a father to the fatherless, and is near to the broken hearted. He has outlined the best forms of government for any nation, if they will follow it, and as our country started to do in 1776, and amazingly America still exists today, 245 years later. We must work to sustain and preserve it.  

    Gaslighting & Other Strategies of The Left, And What To Do About It

    What is gaslighting?Gasligting is a form of psychological control to get someone to believe what is false by constantly feeding them lies, distortions of the truth, and to get them to eventually doubt their memory or their sanity. Over time, if someone falls victim to this, they end up questioning their own sanity and believing they are the one who is crazy, not the person who is gaslighting them. What are the goals of gaslighting? It's goal is to cause confusion, bring a lack of clarity, muddy the waters in someone else's thinking, to get them to question their own values and morals, and to get them to change their minds and make different decisions away from the truth, and away from what is true, right, and good. Gaslighting is employed so those on the left can get away with deception, lies, and to sway public opinion to accomplish goals that are less than honest, and the ultimate goal is the gaslights want control over people. We've seen this gaslighting play out a lot over the last year and a half through the covid ordeal that we've been through as a nation. One example is last summer, the summer of 2020, leading up to the election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, was the Antifa riots, fires , looting and burning of many major cities in our nation, and right here in Seattle.  The left has destroyed many cities, crime, murder, and drug usage is at an all time high in these cities, and the left who controls these cities does nothing about it. But on Jan. 6th when people rushed the capitol building and one police officer was shot, the left has gone into hysterics over this event, and some of these non-violent protestors are still in solitary confinement awaiting a trial 7 months later. And the mainstream press has been gas lighting us all year, trying to get us to believe that what happened at the capital on Jan. 6th somehow is far more serious and threatening to our republic than what happened for months and months in the summer of 2020 in our major cities leading up to the Nov. 2020 election. They are trying to get us to believe that somehow what we saw all last summer is not that big a deal compared to Jan. 6th, so they can carry out their socialist, Marxist goals that they have for the United States of America. They are blowing smoke in our faces, and trying to tell us on the right that we are the crazy ones, we are the ones not seeing reality clearly, we are the ones who have misunderstood what has happened, we are the ones who are mistaken and misinformed. They are trying to get us to believe something that is not the truth, by the constant drumbeat of their lies, to get us to wear down, question our own sanity, make us feel like we are the cray ones, so we will be discuraged, give up, go home, and be quiet.. This is the goal of gaslighting, so the gaslighters can have all of the control.What's the solution? Be prepared for the gaslighters, who will quickly tear into you, to knock you off balance, get control of the discussion, and cause the people who are telling the truth to get discouraged, give up the fight, be quiet and go home.Do not answer them. Completely ignore their gaslighting, and tell the truth, list the facts, and tell them that you will not be labeled with their false accusations. State the truth, list your goals, comments, and responses with clarity, and do not even answer the accusations, but spend time stating who they really are, what their agenda is, and expose the truth of what has really happened, and what they plan on trying to to to our nation, tearing it down one lie at a time.

Jefferson, recognized for his ability with words, wrote the first draft; then it was edited by the others, and then edited again by the whole Congress.King George III of Great Britain was 37 yrs old and had been king for 15 years when he went before Parliament in England in late 1775 and declared the American colonies in rebellion and stated his determination to bring them into submission to his ruling power.By the time Jefferson sat down to pen his draft in 1776, a series of events had driven a wedge between Great Britain and its 13 colonies across the Atlantic.On July 4, 1776 Congress officially adopted the Declaration of Independence. As Benjamin Franklin said, “We must, indeed, all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately.”The commander-in-chief of the army George Washington, was 43 years old.Benjamin Franklin. was 70 years old. John Hancock who was president of the continental congress… he was 39. John Adams was 40 (1735-1826) . Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) was 33.  Brigadier General Nathaniel Greene, was 33 years old, the youngest brigadier general in the Continental Army. Alexander Hamilton at the time of the signing was 20 years old. He did not sign the D. Of I. But 1774–75, he wrote three influential pamphlets, which upheld some of the key agreements of the Continental Congress. Those anonymous publications—part of the Federalist papers, he wrote when he was 19 and 20 years old. In March 1776, through the influence of friends in the New York legislature, Hamilton was commissioned a captain in the provincial artillery.     Critical race theory: Is it critical? Why now? Here's the simple explanation to a very complex topic. Critical race theory (CRT) is just Marxism renamed- but to call it neo-Marxism would be too revealing for what it really is. Instead of feeding the Critical Race Theory (CRT) lies to our children and college students, we need to teach them about the amazing freedom and liberty that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights has given us. The United States of America is the best bastion of freedom the world has, if we preserve it.And why now? CRTis just the next step by Leftists to separate children from their parents, college students from the truth and knowledge they need to know, and to separate different groups and classes of people. The United States of America is not systemically racist, although there are individual incidents of racism that have and do occur. Critical Race Theory does not attempt to address the problem of racism, but attempts to unravel and dismantle the foundations of our nation, such as the family unit, the Constitution, capitalism, equality and the economic free market system. “Equality” is one of the hallmarks of our Declaration of Independence, and is to guarantee all citizens an equal starting line in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. “Equity” is part of the Marxist belief system that is an attempt to guarantee all citizens an equal finish line, and attempts to take from the achievers, while stripping us of the God-given rights we are born with, to somehow give everyone an equal professional and economic finish line. The following is adapted from a lecture delivered at Hillsdale College on March 30, 2021 by Christopher Rufo, Founder and Director, Battlefront. Critical race theory is fast becoming America's new institutional orthodoxy.     Where do you get your news? How do you know it's the truth?

    Are you after the NEWS, or the TRUTH? These are not the same. How do we find out the truth about issues, and figure out what is the truth and what is just hype, media frenzy, and an attempt to increase ratings? How do we know if what we are reading or watching is the news, or the slanted view of the author or producer? Truth is hard to find in the news, so here's how I approach finding the truth in all the news we are drowning in each day.     Socialism vs. Capitalism: What's the difference? Socialism and Capitalism are defined, and contrasting examples from everyday life are cleverly explained.  The USA was built on the amazing economic engine of capitalism, providing the best economic achievements the world has ever known. Capitalism allows every person to keep the fruits of their own labors. Socialism forces this reward for work to be shared with others, regardless of their work ethic, and guarantees equal poverty and suffering for all.What is capitalism? Everyone is guaranteed an equal starting line. What is socialism? Everyone is told they will be guaranteed an equal finish line. No one will come out ahead, and no one will be left behind. Everyone crosses the finish line at the exact same time. Socialism is pessimism, discouragement, hopelessness, lack, shortages, food lines, limits, bleak futures, religious persecution, and economic strain and poverty.Capitalism is optimism, encouragement, hope, abundance, plenty, ample food, unlimited potential, bright futures, religious freedom, and economic prosperity.Basic philosophy: Socialism has many limits and restrictions, and resources, money, jobs, housing, goods and services, access to medical care, freedom of transportation and movement, and everything else is limited and sparingly handed out to the citizenry as the government officials see fit. There are ALWAYS lack and shortages on every level, and punishments to those who want independence. Capitalism has no limits. There is not a limited amount of money in this system. Creating wealth in a capitalistic system is not getting a piece of a pre-determined pie, it is baking your own pie and being given the freedom of making as many pies as possible. There is no limit to wealth here. The only limits to this system are how much human energy and creative thinking one has, or acknowledging one's own limits and hiring others to help you overcome these limits. Government officials get out of the way and let economic innovation and vitality thrive. Lack and shortages are extremely rare. As a final note: Since many of you are teaching your kids and grandkids at home this year, and have formed schooling pods, home school co-ops, and all of the other alternative methods of eduction that have popped up in the last year, Teach these valuable truths to your kids, and any other kids that are within earshot. It may just be what saves our nation.

    How do those in Government think?

    In Government, the meeting is the goal and more money spent equals more success. Do not apply basic Economics 101 to government thinking. That's not how they reason. How do those in government think? Here I lay out the differences between the government and the private sector, and how each measures success, and I answer the question, “What was the legislature and the governor thinking when they passed and signed into law all of these horrible laws?” In government, the meeting, the process, the endless discussion is the goal. Memos, intergovernmental agency meetings, and committee meetings are the goal. In the private sector, providing a good or service that someone wants, and is willing to pay for, is the goal. In government, spending money on a “problem” is the solution, and the more money that is spent on a particular issue means more success for that issue. In the private sector, goods and services produced must be what people want, and are willing to pay money for. For business to have success, they must produce what people want, regardless of how much money was spent to produce that good or service. Gov. Jay Inslee of WA thinks this last session was a success because more money was spent on programs that he thinks are necessary. Outcomes or results or other measurements of success are not part of how success is measured in his mind, nor in the mind of those in government. More money thrown at a problem mean that problem is solved, regardless of measurable outcomes. Using the education budget, I show how government believes that more money spend equals more success towards an issue. This podcast answers the question, “What was the legislature and the governor thinking when they passed all these horrible laws this session?”

    The Declaration of Independence, signed July 4, 1776. The document was drafted by a group of men in the Continental Congress made up of John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Roger Sherman, and Robert Livingston. Jefferson, an accomplished writer, wrote the first draft; then it was edited by the others, and then edited again by the whole Congress. 56 members of Congress signed it.The Declaration of Independence clearly explains why the 13 colonies, at war with Great Britain and regarded themselves as thirteen independent sovereign states, wanted to no longer be under British rule. His estate was looted, his possessions burned, and his horses stolen. He was so brutally treated while in prison he died before the war ended. Francis Lewis had his home and property destroyed, and his wife was put in jail. She died 2 years later from this mistreatment. John Hart's 13 children fled for their lives when their home, fields, and grist mill were destroyed. His wife was near death. John Hart hid in the woods for over a year to avoid being captured. He often slept in caves. When he finally returned home, his wife had died, his children disappeared, and his land and farm were completely destroyed.     3 Branches of Government & why the Gov. Of WA has so much power. Executive, Legislative, JudicialExecutive branch: The executive branch carries out and enforces laws. It includes the president, vice president, the Cabinet, executive departments, independent agencies, and others. Legislative Branch:Makes the laws.  The legislative branch is made up of the House and Senate, known collectively as the Congress. Among other powers, the legislative branch makes all laws, declares war, regulates interstate and foreign commerce and controls taxing and spending policies.The legislative branch also acts as a check against the executive branch. Judicial branch: The court systems of local, state, and federal governments, responsible for interpreting the laws passed by the legislative branch and enforced by the executive branch.The judicial branch is in charge of deciding the meaning of laws, how to apply them to real situations, and whether a law breaks the rules of the Constitution. The Constitution is the highest law of our Nation. The U.S. Supreme Court, the highest court in the United States, is part of the judicial branch.Law vs. MandateA law and a mandate have the same power to be enforced.     While in a difficult situation those in power, and often abusing their power to control people, move the goal post, change the goals, and constantly but vaguely describe the goals.... to keep people oppressed. This is the strategy of fatigue. During this past year of our government's response to Covid this strategy of wearing out the citizenry has been very effective, allowing our Constitutional rights to be further eroded. Our own governor here in the state of WA has used this strategy effectively as he continues to abuse the powers of the governor's office.The early American colonists also were subjected to the strategy of fatigue from the king of Great Britain. This podcast describes this weapon of control, and I kept it short so even I do not practice this strategy of fatigue.

Here I define the what is a conservative and what is a leftist, give some practical examples, and discuss that if you're on the right or the left, we often use the same words, but they have very different meanings to those on the two sides. We may be saying the same words, but the MEANING of those words are NOT the same, and the same word has VERY different meanings according to who is using them. What is the definition of the word “liberal” to those on the left and those on the right? Also, I turn to Google for these definitions, and discuss the differences according to Google, and how these definitions define the laws we have now. Book discussed: “The Law” by Frederic Bastiat.

    Did 2020 shock you? Upset your entire life? What's going on? Many of us experienced a year like no other…the Covid virus brought unprecedented changes to our way of life, and a huge government overreach into our lives. In this podcast I describe my wake up year in the early 2000's, when I realized the immense government control in our lives, and the following shock and grief I was in. Now I'm on the other side of this wake up moment, here to offer some perspective on where we can go from here, taking valuable lessons from the signers of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
