Season 4 of The First 10 Podcast will focus on serial entrepreneurs, and this episode is a short message about why. I want to shed a light on the people who have chosen the entrepreneurial path, again and again, to see what it was about them that enabled them to pivot their business, or drop a failing or undesirable business and pick up elsewhere, or spot new opportunities in a familiar space and launch products that found traction and fit a customer need. From the outside, the tenacity, drive, and imagination to start again can look like something reserved for the very few, and I hope that this season of the podcast will show you ways you can adopt a serial mindset.

I didn't plan on recording this episode but after people started giving me feedback on what they found most useful this Season, I thought it might be an idea to collect a digital hamper of the answers to the final question I ask all my guests. That question is: What would you say to someone just starting out to find their First 10?Also, in this episode, I mention my new Bootcamp, the First 10 Bootcamp. The goal of the Bootcamp is to help business builders find their First 10 Customers. I've been helping people start and grow their businesses for the best part of a decade now, and I've found that this early stage of the journey can be the most uncertain but is often the most rewarding if done right. The Bootcamp will teach you things like identifying your ideal audience and their real problems, describing your idea in a way that those customers want to hear, some marketing, a pinch of sales technique, and of course, the art of shipping your idea to the world. It's a 5 week program, where a group of like-minded business builders will meet once per week to learn how to understand and serve their customers with their ideas. It includes free 1-1 sessions with me, frameworks, templates...all the good stuff that goes into learning something new, and things that you can use again and again.Check out https://www.conormccarthy.me/first-10-bootcamp for more.
