For our 200th episode together, we are going to love all over our run community. I was joined for my birthday party by Mofope Oyekunle from TeamUltra Black and Kayla Hunt and Emma Ferguson from OCRC (Ottawa City Run Club). What an amazing group of community leaders: these three humans care deeply about our sport and encourage all the people to join them. We talked about what it takes to make a truly welcoming environment, where runners can show up, know what to expect, and find their place for the long haul. And that is precisely how we build community in this sport. That and spilling our guts to each other over long runs.

Something is about to happen What is God getting you into the habit of doing? 1. “You are only committed to what you confess.” Your attitude is determined by your understanding. A lot of us have the wrong attitude because we don't understand that what belongs to us is a joint heir to Jesus Christ. When you understand who you are and who you belong to you begin to carry yourself differently. My attitude will always be something is about to happen, no matter in I am in the valley or the mountain; there is a higher mountain I can climb. 2. Never settle for a life you don't want because you are a afraid to go after the life you deserve. Isaiah 43:19 “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a path way through the wilderness and I will create rivers in the dry waste land.” You cannot experience the path of the wilderness unless you are in the wilderness. You can experience that is in the dry waste land unless you are in the dry waste land. Stop avoiding difficult situations because you are afraid of them and put your faith on it and believe God will meet you there and there is nothing He can't. We so busy avoiding tough stuff and that is the very place that God desires to perform the miracles you need, but you can't see it if you are not there. Stop letting fear rule your life; let faith guide you through those waste land and dry place.
