Ok, we typically don’t like to critique the casting choices with The Clone Wars, but hear us out-- there was a huge missed opportunity to cast Joe Pesci as Jedi Master Even Piell! What a miscarriage of justice! Well, you can hear us rant about this missed opportunity, big pig midgets, Captain Tarkin, Gungan pelts and we hit the jackpot when we learn all about Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities! Turn up your headphones, dial back your sensibilities, and join the wretched hive of scum and villainy as we take the low road to resistance on Episode Twenty Six of Force Insensitive!Send Email/Voicemail: mailto:forceinsensitive@gmail.comStart your own podcast: https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=386Use our Amazon link: http://amzn.to/2CTdZzKFB Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ForceInsensitive/Twitter: http://twitter.com/ForceNSensitiveFacebook: http://facebook.com/ForceInsensitiveInstagram: http://instagram.com/ForceInsensitive
Welcome to Episode 79 of Dateline Mousetalgia! In this week’s episode, we talk about the upcoming kickoff of Lunar New Year in Disney California Adventure, focusing in particular on the foodie guide and activity options! There’s also a new ticket special going on at Disneyland Resort and some new Annual Passholder mobile order buttons have been rolled out at certain quick-service dining locations. We’ve got plenty of Star Wars-in-the-parks updates, including a Millennium Falcon french fry/popcorn bucket in Tomorrowland. Over in Black Spire Outpost, there are new lightsaber merchandise options at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, and beloved droid friend R2-D2 has been spotted hanging out with members of the Resistance! Phase 2 of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is officially here as of tomorrow when Batuu’s “E-ticket” attractionm, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, opens to general admission ticket park guests! Media previews for the new attraction have been underway, and as such, we have a better idea of what the queue process will be like when the ride officially opens!
For the first time ever, the Backlotboys are recording LIVE from the Disneyland Resort in Sunny (but chilly) Anaheim, California! This is a two-part podcast, blended into one with the first segment recorded at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and the second from inside Galaxy's Edge. During the first 20 minutes we go over hopes, dreams, expectations of the new Star Wars-themed land; the remaining 20 includes our reactions to the new land and everything that goes with it! We discuss everything from blue milk to restroom cleanliness as we navigate the mean streets of Black Spire. Watch Goodtimeswithscar roll into Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities where he is appointed the fabled Dual-phase Sith lightsaber. Two, red Kyber Crystals illuminate his Diatium-powered combat noodle, and there is no telling how many of those still hiding out on Mon Cala will suffer as Goodtimeswithscar wields this terrible swift sword. Is Smugglers Run accessible? YES! Listen and find out how the Disneyland version of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run accommodates those needing a little extra time boarding and de-planing the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. Whether your destined to be a pilot, gunner, or ship engineer, there is a role and requirement for everyone contracted by Hondo Ohnaka himself. Speaking of Hondo, is it me, or does it seem like it'd itch to have those horns protruding from your jaw area? We dined on the finest, dodged the imperialist, and froze our rumps off to bring to you a live, on-site podcast from the Black Spire Outpost. The least you could do, in the comments, is let us know which Star Wars character (from A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi) Goodtimeswithscar most closely resembles!
Morgan and Jeff join the ranks of the Resistance, take the Falcon for a joyride, and explore Black Spire Outpost at the edge of wild space. In our review of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, we talk about Dok-Ondar's collection of relics, expanding the fun with the Play Disney Parks app, the delicious food and beverages available on Batuu, and much more.
