What's up, Browns fans! The NFL has finally shown the Browns some mercy and allowed us to take a much-needed BYE week. Let's face it, everyone: this team is a straight-up mess. The Browns have played 12 games this season, and the only game we can say the team clicked on both sides of the ball was against the Cincinnati Bengals. Other than that, either the defense has struggled or the offense has failed to do anything. At this point, we ALL need a break--players, coaches and fans alike. But during this time, we want to look ahead at the remaining 5 games on the schedule. What's the outlook and our predictions for the end of the season? If you feel like you're a bit blah lately, it could be that you're not used to this extra stimulus we're all experiencing right now. As we venture out into the world and get used to more people after being in lockdown for over a year, our energy can become way more drained and clouded than when we were just sitting at home and interacting with people from afar. This week's theme is about: Clearing Your Aura. Empaths can have a buildup of ‘energy saturation' in their auras. If you're not aware of this buildup, it can get really dense and cloudy, which means you're not functioning at your most optimal level! The more we ignore this build up, the more we can get cranky, feel sluggish, and like there's just something off about our presence and how we show up for others around us. Don't ignore this feeling! Some telltale signs you're not in energy alignment is just by feeling antsy, irritable, like the walls are closing in, and just more tired than normal. You clear your aura by taking a step back, getting grounded and organized, and having the self-awareness to really tap into your intuition to ask what it truly needs form you right this moment for you to feel lighter and in higher vibration. Question of the Week: I found my perfect man, but it lasted only 4 months. What a tease from the universe! How can I attract a long-lasting relationship? Tool of the Week: Pick one rejuvenating activity and practice it consistently. Click here for a machine generated transcript A lot of the attention in stroke research is paid to the acute phase. How can we treat a stroke in the ER? What can we do so it doesn't get worse? How can we prevent strokes from happening? What can we do in inpatient rehab to help folks get better? Those are all important things, and the stunning innovations happening around us are amazing, newsworthy, and truly impacting people's lives in a meaningful way. But there's not as much attention given to chronic stroke. Sure, there's some. There are people working really hard to help stroke survivors recover even years after stroke. But not as much makes it into the news. That's one reason I was interested in Dr. Jesse Dawson's work at the University of Glasgow. The recently published a study in the Lancet about using Vagus Nerve Stimulation to drive recovery in patients years after stroke. And their procedure looks promising. Bio Dr. Jesse Dawson is a Professor of Stroke Medicine and Consultant Physician in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. His research portfolio includes prevention and rehabilitation clinical trials in stroke survivors. His main interest is in improving the long-term outcome after stroke. Dr. Dawson holds a BHF/Stroke Association programme grant, HTA NIHR funding and NIH funding and runs a large outcomes adjudication system for multi-national stroke trials. He is the NHS Research Scotland lead for stroke research and sits on the editorial board of Stroke. Dr. Dawson is currently researching the role of xanthine oxidase inhibition as a novel preventative treatment after stroke. This is the focus of a UK wide clinical trial, funded by a programme grant from the BHF/Stroke Association. He is also studying novel treatments for upper limb weakness after stroke, including vagus nerve stimulation and robotic therapy. These studies included a large NIHR funded study, funding from Chest Heart Stroke Scotland and a collaboration with industry. Dr. Dawson is the Medical Outcomes Manager for the endpoint committee of the large NIH funded CLEAR III trial, the NIH funded MISTIE III study, the European Union FP-7 funded EuroHYP study and the international SITSOPEN collaboration. This involves review of all trial endpoints and co-ordination of the endpoint adjudication process for these large phase III studies. He supervises several PhD and MD students, including students with competitive government and charitable funded fellowships. He co-directs a large MSc programme in Clinical Pharmacology and is Director of the Vertical Theme for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics for the MBChB programme. He is a regular MRCP PACES examiner and external higher degree examiner for several UK univeristies. The Research This is a fascinating study because even though they are stimulating the Vagus nerve, they are not actually treating it. Instead they are using it as a messenger to the brain to say, "Wake up! It's time to learn something." Essentially, it's trying to get the brains attention so traditional Occupational and Physical Therapy can work. And it seems to be working. It will be interesting to see if in future studies they can get similar results with Speech Therapy. The other important take away here is that this work with chronic stroke survivors -- folks who had strokes years ago -- even in the control group. Granted the experimental group that got the Vagus Nerve Stimulation got better results. The point is, though, that intense physical and occupational therapy gets results even years after as stroke, demonstrating once again that the 6 or 12 month caps on recovery are complete and utter nonsense. Hack of the Week Pick a small thing to focus on. Perhaps it's a small task. Or part of a small task. Or maybe it's a new goal you haven't done before but it seems within reach. Do that. Focus on that. Achieve that. The look for more small challenges. Lots of wins on small challenges adds up to big success in the long run. Links Where do we go from here? Good morning! Its Sunday and today is the challenge of the week! When we see some litter, don't just pass it. Be responsible. Pick it up and put it in the bin. And when we all pick up litters, it has massive changes in our environment. Be responsible, Dean

In this live coaching session, we get real with Brandy Lawson, a business owner who struggles with delegation and building trust with team members. If you also struggle with asking for help, listen in for insights and strategies you can start using today! About Brandy Lawson Brandy is the Chief Online Officer for FieryFX, a company focused on helping clients reach their business goals through strategic digital marketing efforts. She concerns herself with her client’s digital efforts, as well as what is going on within the business to sustain or support that business in the long term. Brandy leads a small team of curated experts who all work under contractor status. Brandy’s Top 5 StrengthsFinder Strengths Analytical Responsibility Arranger Intellection Consistency Key Takeaways You should be able to answer the following four questions about each of your digital marketing efforts: (1) what is its job, (2) how are you measuring it, (3) how are you investing in it, and (4) is it insured? For people with high Responsibility, trust is earned. This makes delegation incredibly difficult, as individuals with high Responsibility must first delegate before having the trust. A smart way to build trust with a new assistant or contractor is to put them through a trial run. Partner your Strengths with the Strengths of those around you to make stronger relationships and set better expectations. Embrace your Strengths and use them to frame conversations with your new contractors during the onboarding process. Time-Stamped Show Highlights 1:45 – Hear Brandy own her Zone of Genius! 5:35 – Brandy’s defined audience niche 7:37 – The 4 questions Brandy asks about each digital marketing effort her clients pursue If you cannot answer these questions, your efforts are just expenses. I’m into building online assets; it cannot be an asset unless it meets these four criteria. 10:00 – A discussion of Brandy’s top StrengthsFinder Strengths 12:17 – Brandy’s biggest challenge I am terrible at asking for help! … I have the hardest time asking for help, and this has not surprisingly shown up in delegation for my business. I recognize this is a problem, and I beat my head against that problem. 13:33 – Responsibility as a characteristic v. Responsibility as a Strength The Theme of Responsibility is about psychological ownership. For people with high Responsibility, trust is earned not given. 15:35 – Brandy’s means of building trust when delegating to a new contractor 17:44 – The two things you need to do to build trust with others First, ask yourself, “What do I need to be able to trust this person?” Second, make sure you are communicating what you need even during your test run. 22:28 – Brandy’s recognition of how her Responsibility has shaped her life and her business 26:25 – How Brandy can use her Strengths to frame what she brings to her clients 30:16 – Podcast recommendation of the week! Today, we are going to look at how we look at what has happened to us and what what has happened to us affects us. Einstein said we are a bundle of energy vibrating in an imense void. The "void" is our Universe and the energy that we have is held together in a bundle by our skin suit! So let's look at this: if we are vibrating, what are we vibrating? An what does our vibration do? I'll tell you a secret: the trees pick up your vibration and tell the clouds and the clouds take it around the world!!! www.marcyann.com www.weddingofficiantschool.com
I am going to share 2 dreams I had this past week --- and the interpretation that was provided at a Dream Class.
Can't get going? Want to, but just can't? This is the state of Inertia which is a state of energy that has its good side and its bad side! Just like everything else! Let's look injto this!
Energy is available as a constant source - so why are we tired?
In these days of drama, the news media headlines that are constantly creating danger messages, constant crisis, keeping our minds filled with horrific and devastating events, we need to be reminded that there is "the rest of the story" - as an old broadcaster, Paul Harvey, use to say! I call it the other side of the story. Remember, our earth is always in balance. Our earth is spinning on its axis perfectly as it goes around the sun perfectly, every day, every day, every day, 365 days a year. If all the bad stuff was all there was, then the earth would be off-balance and would go spinning out into the Universe in a hap-hazard fling of emotion. But it doesn't. So, tune in today and get a dose of balance!! www.marcyann.com
Tune in today to learn how to set up your stadium of Affirmative Action.
Rest is important, but what about the rest of your time? Do you live to get off work? Are you thinking, I can't wait until it's Friday! What about the routine that is connected to every job there is? I was talking with an EMT who works in the emergency room of one of our big hospitals and he said, my job is routine. I couldn't imagine this!! But, he explained that every type of symptom people come to the emergency room with has a rountine associated with it. The EMT staff is going to do a certain number of routine procedures depending upon what the emergency is. So it would be especially important that all of us who perform routine procedures do it mindfully! Because we can sometimes let the routine of the procedure take over and we are somewhere else! When we are in the moment, whether it is an emergency or just another task on the list, being mindful creates the field of all possibilities where we can experience something new! and exiting!
How is everybody this week? Is it kinda hard to get back to work? Or did you work all weekend? I have always worked in jobs that work the holidays - front desk of a hotel, gift shops in hotels, etc. If you work in the hospitality industry, you know that a Holiday Weekend means you will work harder! So if you worked harder over the Labor Day Weekend - maybe you work at a hospital, maybe you work at an airport, maybe you work at a grocery store, or other kind of store that is open on Holidays. The Labor Day holiday was suppose to be a day of rest!! ha ha I drove for UBER during the Labor Day Weekend!! What fun! I took people to restaurants, to bars, to hotels, to the airport, to friend's houses. The young people are really smart. They have money so if they want to drink, they use UBER. They are so much fun. We laugh and joke and enjoy each other. I am from Indianapolis so having grown up with the Indy 500 - I drive like A.J.! So as usual, we will be looking at our energy levels -- where we are in the middle of the week - where we are in the pursuing of our hopes and dreams - what is the level of our happiness!
We are all looking fior energy - more energy - why is everybody so fatigued? Why is everybody so stressed? Let me tell you how to quit claim any attachment that is draining you of your energy. .
The Middle-of-the Week Pick-me-Up Energy Show is always about our energy. Everybody needs energy to live their life, so I am always looking for ways that we can find more energy to do the things we want to do after we've done all the things we have to do. And try to get our life so that evrything we do is what we want to do!!
Hi everyone, tune in to find new ways to use your energy in positive and productive ways that benefit YOU!!! Today I am rerunning one of my most popular shows - Prayer that Works EVERYTIME!!! This show ran more than a year ago and it is amazing to me how relevant it is today. I hardly would have to change a word of my introduction. When everyone begins to realize, however, that what they speak every day is actually prayer, it could be helpful to know how to pray a prayer that works everytime!!! www.marcyann.com www.weddingofficiantschool.com - If you are looking for a way to earn your living that is fun, fun, happy, happy, and be able to make enough money to live the good life, take a look at my school!! Recently, one of my students who graduated back in 2008 just listed her wedding business for sale for $675,000. They have earned $250,000 net to them for the last 3 years!!! And now they want to retire and live on a farm and be goat farmers in the mountains of Peru!!! There are no limits as to how much you can make. Call me today 949-433-3129 for a free consultation.
Today, I rie-running a program I did last March after a bloody Easter weekend of murder and mauling in a black neighborhood in Chicago. Martin Luther King said, I have a dream. And I say, after watching the news program about Easter in Chicago, I had a dream. And I share the dream with you on my program. This message is mostly for Black people - but it is also for everybody. We are living in different times now. So today's program is how to use our energy today.
Hi Everyone! invited Carolyn to come back on and read her mantra to us again for living in her Temple. She was on my show several weeks ago, and we enjoyed her so much. She also will jump in with her ideas of living in her tample as a woman. I have re-scheduled Yusef-El for August 6th and we will discuss the divine feminine and the divine masculine then. Going on vacation! I am going to run my very popular Prayer That Really Works Shows while I am gone. See you August 6th.
This is my mid-week pick-me-up energy show and today I have a special guest, Jerry Lasko. Jerry is an energy facilitator and he teaches classes on how to create and live in your Temple. When I go to my temple, I feel myself swimming in the warm ocean in the Carribean, bobbling along with the waves and feeling the ocean massaging my body. Jerry's temple is a grand villa on the side of a mountain in southern Italy with large rooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, and views of the Mediterranean. Learn how to create your Temple. And also learn the value of a mantra which is energizing and validating. And one of Jerry's students will share her mantra with us.
It's Wednesday - the middle of the week -- in a classic work week - we've worked 2 days --- this is the middle -- and we have 2 days to go after that. Maybe by Wednesday, we've gotten through 1/2 the stuff on our desk. Sometimes, by Wednesday, there's more there now then when we started this week! Let's see if we can find some extra energy today to put to those tasks before us and maybe we can just tweak our noses like Elizabeth Montgomery on the TV series Bewitched and get it all done in an instant!
Today we are going to look at our brain -- we have 2 brains - the brain in our head and the brain in our heart. We are going to look at the brain in our head today.- because it is in the brain in our head where we have our computer processor and where we have our search engine and where we have our escape button and our fight or flight program.
It's the middle of the week -- again! Let's get some pep! You are more than half-way through your work week! That in itself is reason to celebrate! Let's just take a few minutes to recharge and recalibrate and restore. Life is too short (and getting shorter every day) to waste a single moment in the past or wondering about the future. Let's make today worth the effort! Carpe Diem!
I am going to talk more about the atomic accelerator. We will look at the way the cells of our body work, and see how the atomic accelerator can influence our biology. Remember, in the quantum level of physcis, there are no absolutes, nothing is set in stone, everything is in process.
Hi Everyone! I am going t talk about the atomic accelerator today. I will explain as much as I know about it right now and how I am implementing the use of the tomic acelerator in my life.
Wednesday, April 23rd, and we are in the middle of a Grand Cross energy. Since everything and everyone is really just energy, let's look at how this Grand Cross energy can be implemented into our lives. Let us discuss how the energy can begin to redirect us into those areas of our life that perhaps are troubling or maybe are confusing or sometimes are frustrating, and many times, stress us out, and how we can let this energy enlighten us and shine the light upon answers, solutions, breaking out of old patterns, and setting our sails for an easier time of it. Life does not have to be hard. Energy flows where attention goes, and there are no limits, everything is possible. www.marcyann.com www.mrrightforme.com
We're talking XFL and some lingering NFL news/jokes.
