Although there are many kinds of fish who make the Alabaster their home, the most aggressive are channel catfish. They're mud suckers, bottom feeders, river vultures, the worst kind of scavengers. Channel cats will eat anything. This is the story of how they came to eat Jimmy Quinn.”

The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (03/12/2024): 3:05pm- On Tuesday, the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing on Department of Justice (DOJ) Special Counsel Robert Hur's investigation into then-Vice President Joe Biden's mishandling of classified documents when he left office. During one notable exchange, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) vociferously stated that Hur's report “exonerated” Biden of all wrongdoing—Hur then interjected that his report to the DOJ did not amount to an exoneration, nor was “exoneration” used at any point in the report. While being questioned by Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), Hur reiterated that “the report is not an exoneration” and confirmed that a reasonable jury could have voted to convict Biden if the case had ever been brought to trial. Hurr also confirmed that the Biden Administration did, in fact, recommend “edits” to an initial draft of the report prior to its public release. 3:30pm- On Tuesday, transcripts of Special Counsel Robert Hur's interview with President Joe Biden over his mishandling of classified documents were released. Leif Le Mathieu of The Daily Wire writes: “Hur's February report concluded that Biden willfully retained classified documents but recommended no criminal charges in part because it said that Biden had a faulty memory and would appear as a sympathetic old man to a jury. One of the key details included in the report was that Biden did not remember the year his son Beau died. Biden said that he was taken aback by a question about his son, claiming that it was Hur who brought up the death… The transcripts, obtained by ABC, show that it was actually Biden who brought up his son… Biden also discussed moving boxes, which were full of classified documents, out of the way in his garage to park his car. He said he did not know what was in the boxes. ‘I remember moving boxes, literally physically moving them, with help, one side to the other so I could get the Corvette in that garage on the left,' Biden said. Other portions of the transcript show Biden talking about his Corvette and ‘making car sounds.'” You can read the full article here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/released-transcripts-show-biden-lied-about-key-detail-in-documents-probe 3:45pm- During Tuesday's House Judiciary Committee hearing, while being questioned by Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), Special Counsel Robert Hur said that there is an audio recording from February 2017 featuring Joe Biden speaking with his ghostwriter and explicitly referencing “classified” documents that he found in his house. At another point, Hur told committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) that Biden's ghostwriter appeared to attempt to delete the audio file but failed. 4:05pm- During Tuesday's House Judiciary Committee hearing on Joe Biden's mishandling of classified documents, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) accused Special Counsel Robert Hur of using “pejorative” language in his report to the Department of Justice as part of an attempt to “ignite a political firestorm.” 4:20pm- On Sunday, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) appeared on ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos. During the interview, Stephanopoulos questioned Mace's endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump—saying Mace is endorsing a candidate accused of sexual assault. Mace responded by correctly noting that Trump has never been criminally convicted of assault. She continued, “you're asking me a question about my political choices—trying to shame me as a rape victim. And I find it disgusting.” 4:30pm- Byron Tau—Investigative Journalist for The Wall Street Journal and Politico—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his new book, “Means of Control: How the Hidden Alliance of Tech and Government is Creating a New American Surveillance State.” Tau explains that, disturbingly, elements of the American government—including police agencies—have been purchasing user data from little known data brokers. This methodology of data acquisition allows these government agents and agencies to bypass the Constitution's Fourth Amendment, which prohibits “unreasonable searches and seizures.” 4:50pm- Should TikTok be banned? Last week, the House Energy and Commerce Committee voted 50-0 to advance a bill that would ban TikTok or force ByteDance (TikTok's parent company) to sell the social media platform to an entity removed from Chinese influence. The full House of Representatives is expected to vote on the bill this Wednesday and, according to The Wall Street Journal, it is likely to pass with majority approval. According to reports, President Joe Biden has vowed to sign the bill into law if the bill ultimately passes the House and Senate and arrives at his desk. Shouldn't individuals be allowed to choose which products they use? Or is the risk of Chinese leadership gaining access to American user data too great to respect individual autonomy and free markets? Senator Elizabeth Warren has suggested that the proposed bill doesn't go far enough to prevent social media's influence, explaining that she wants “curbs in place on social media across the board,” according to Politico.   5:05pm- Jimmy Quinn of National Review writes: “Warner Bros. Discovery distanced itself from its recent partnership with a Chinese Communist Party propaganda organ after several GOP members of Congress wrote to the company's CEO demanding answers, National Review has exclusively learned. The entertainment giant had worked with the China Global Television Network (CGTN) to produce a documentary series, called ‘World's Ultimate Frontier,' about the Xinjiang region. The series conspicuously declined to mention Beijing's ongoing atrocities against Uyghurs and other minority groups and instead portrayed the area as a thriving cultural and industrial hub, leading Representative Jim Banks to accuse Warner Bros. of ‘whitewashing' the abuses.” You can read Quinn's full report here: https://www.nationalreview.com/2024/03/warner-bros-distances-itself-from-partnership-with-chinese-propaganda-outlet/ 5:10pm- In a post on the social media platform X, Tucker Carlson wrote: “In a classified briefing this afternoon, attended by officials from the Biden Justice Department, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that Elon committed ‘election interference' in 2022 by ‘changing the algorithms' on X to alter the results of the midterms that year. Not coincidentally, the anti-TikTok legislation now being debated on the Hill would allow the federal government to force the sale of any social media platform that interferes in elections. Just so you know what's coming in 2025.” 5:15pm- Should TikTok be banned? So many books, so little time. The investigation falls to Sheriff Brody Dern, a highly decorated war hero who still carries the physical and emotional scars from his military service. The summary is innocuous enough; but what will make The River We Remember by William Kent Krueger a spell-binding page-turner? It's the Set-up! Page 1: There's a river; it's in Minnesota; it starts here; flows this way and that; people swim and fish in the river; the river has many fish such as this one and that one; and the channel catfish, bottom-dwelling, mud-sucking, ugly, voracious. Last line: “And this is the story about how the channel cats ate Jimmy Quinn.”Don't you want to know .... what happens next?A story is how "what happens next" affects someone who is trying to achieve what turns out to be a difficult goal, and how she changes as a result.Question: Which books and opening lines do you remember because you wanted to know, what happens next? The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (03/21/2023): 3:05pm- According to 6ABC, eight dolphins have been beached in Sea Isle City. The Marine Mammal Stranding Center has said that two of the dolphins have died. Many environmental experts believe the sudden, drastic uptick in whale deaths along the Atlantic coast is linked to offshore wind development's usage of sonar to map the ocean's floor. Could the beached dolphin pod have resulted from intrusive sonar usage as well? 3:15pm- On Saturday former President Donald Trump revealed that he expects to be arrested on Tuesday for hush money payments disturbed to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in 2016—though, no arrest has yet been made and The New York Post is now reporting that law enforcement is not expecting an arraignment until next week. National Review's Andrew McCarthy writes, “[t]here seems little doubt that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's indictment of Donald Trump is imminent…All that said, though, reports that Trump will be arrested on Tuesday are premature and probably inaccurate. They appear to have been generated by the former president himself and apparently are not based on discussions between the Trump camp and the DA's office.” You can read McCarthy's full breakdown here: https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/trumps-claim-of-tuesday-arrest-is-highly-unlikely/ 3:30pm- Speaking with members of the press on Tuesday, Robert J. Costello, a former legal adviser for Michael Cohen, called his former client a “convicted perjurer” and exclaimed, “I told the grand jury that this guy couldn't tell the truth if you put a gun to his head.” Why is Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg relying upon Cohen's testimony for a potential indictment of former-President Donald Trump? 3:40pm- According to Johnny Diaz of The New York Times, the city of “Philadelphia has agreed to pay $9.25 million to more than 300 people who said they were injured in the police response to racial justice protests that erupted after the murder of George Floyd in 2020.” You can read more here: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/20/us/philadelphia-protests-settlement.html 4:05pm- While speaking with the White House press, Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs John Kirby insisted that the Biden Administration is not threatened by an alliance between Vladimir Putin's Russia and Xi Jinping's China. Kirby also explained that he still believes “there is room for cooperation with China.” 4:20pm- According to Erin Banco and Sarah Anne Aarup of Politico, “Chinese companies, including one connected to the government in Beijing, have sent Russian entities 1,000 assault rifles and other equipment that could be used for military purposes, including drone parts and body armor.” The Washington Post is reporting that the Biden Administration may sanction any Chinese businesses that militarily cooperate with Russia. Is it important to establish a “red line” and enforce it? Managing contractors to zero (SIFs) without a big stick."Like anybody else, I didn't start off as the president of IOSH" Jimmy said, "more like in the trenches."Almost immediately, I felt totally comfortable. He was low-key, easy to listen to - and when he told me about some of the amazing accomplishments he has achieved in construction and how he did it... that's where the idea for the title came from.As mentioned, the results were impressive: from mega projects in the billions to smaller projects that easily fall under the radar of inspectors, every one managed to zero serious harm. But to do it all with positive engagement and a limited budget, even with a permanent workforce, is impressive. But to do it with a transient workforce of sub-contractors and sub-sub-contractors is, well... hard to believe, until you listen to him and hear how he did it. We will also talk about IOSH and the current initiatives they are working on. But mostly it will be about how to do it - without a big stick.About James Quinn:James is a well-motivated, proactive HSE Manager, CMIOSH and an expert with strong leadership and management skills, with a strong strategic vision. Disciplined and tenacious with the ability to drive and coach others, to excel in an environment where demanding targets and quality of work is expected to be of the highest standards.Having a significant level of experience in the development of bespoke HSE management systems, James is always working to current legislation and completing management reviews of current policies, systems and procedures in line with legal requirements and industry best practice.James through collaborative working with a thorough knowledge of international best practice and HSE auditing of OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001 compliance can also be considered to be one of the best in his field in the Gulf region. James was also part of the consultation group for the certification to the new Asset Management Systems standard, ISO 55001.James has been described as an “intelligent and pragmatic HSE leader who understands the complexities of safety and managerial processes”. He has a Masters in Strategic Management and Leadership and a Post Graduate Diploma teaching Further Education, James is well travelled with responsibilities (current and past) worldwide and an understanding of diverse cultures and environments.Professional membership of IOSH, CMI, CIOB, and the former IOSH Middle East Committee member lead for IPD/CPD, IOSH council member and IOSH President Elect, supporting the IOSH President as part of the Presidential Team before taking his office as President in October 2020.

Brothers Joe, Michael and Jimmy Quinn grew up in Brooklyn, NY, hearing all about Feltman's of Coney Island. The iconic beachside eatery was founded in 1867, by Charles Feltman, a German baker and entrepreneur whose claim to fame was inventing the world's first hot dog and selling them by the thousands to Brooklyn area beachgoers. Feltman died in 1910, but his legacy and his business was carried on by his family until it was forced to close in 1954. Having heard about the legend that was Feltman's for decades, the brothers vowed to one day bring Feltman's of Coney Island back from the ashes to its rightful place as a viable brand in Brooklyn and beyond. That dream was initially shattered after Jimmy Quinn tragically died when the World Trade Center office he was working in was destroyed by terrorists on Sept. 11, 2001. To honor their youngest brother, Joe and Michael resurrected the Feltman's brand in 2015. In this week's MEAT+POULTRYPodcast, Joe Quinn talks about the history of Feltman's and how it captured the hearts and appetites of his family and became a labor of love he and his brother relentlessly pursued. Since reviving Feltman's, the brothers have seen it emerge as the fastest-growing hot dog company in the country, carried by more than 300 Whole Foods Markets, more than 1,100 Publix grocery stores and with online sales that have grown exponentially each year. Joe also discusses the company's new bacon offering and how this was the next logical step in extending Feltman's growing product line. Joe tells an inspirational story of the two food entrepreneurs motivated by a shared commitment to tradition and honor. They were both born in the South, are both 5 foot 9, and both have played for Cherries in the naughties and 2010’s… Firstly, Matt Tubbs... a player who netted 49 goals in 65 matches for Crawley Town - a ridiculous record! He had a loan spell at the Cherries in 2008 before completing a permanent switch in 2012, and his goals were a crucial part of AFC Bournemouth reaching the Championship! Plus, Josh McQuoid - a player that came through the youth at AFCB after a brief spell at Saints. He made 63 appearances for us, joined the Cherries first team set up in 2006 and his goal-scoring form got better as time went on. In November 2010, he scored a hat-trick for Bournemouth in consecutive home wins, something which evidently created a path for a move away to play Championship football where he joined Millwall! He returned in 2012, was alongside the likes of Franno, Ritchie, Grabban and Fraser up the leagues. An international for Northern Ireland too, he is currently plying his trade at Weymouth. We talk about their footballing experiences, loan moves, dealing with Jimmy Quinn, the Minus 17 era, the influences on and off the pitch (good and bad), the current side, being "rested" on the first game of the season, and much more besides... That ol' nasty Aztec cult living in NYC rears its ugly head again and resurrects a giant flying hotdog-turtle that eats bikini ladies. Meanwhile, a low level criminal butthole douchebag treats his girlfriend poorly and then takes a couple of barely working cops on an egg chase. Believe it or not, this film shouldn't be called "Q", unless "Q" stand for "Quinn" because this film is not about a flying dinosaur(?) worshipped by an Aztec cult. It's truly about Jimmy Quinn, a low level criminal that doesn't understand how to do his job and his quest for fame and fortune, set to the background of a giant flying serpent attacking NYC. Here's a simple test to verify this: Tell us what the story of Q is in this film and then tell us what the story of Jimmy Quinn is in this film. You have a beginning, middle and end to Quinn; you understand his motivations, his relationships and his desires. Quinn is the main story. So in short, Q is a total blast and for sure a must see movie. Its hilarious, ridiculous, and non-stop banana business. You can really watch Q multiple times back to back. Don't just watch it online. You should own a copy of this gem.

The Celtic Graves Society are proud to announce that there will be a ceremony to commemorate the resting place of JIMMY McMENEMY At St Peter's The Good Shepherd Cemetery, Dalbeth, London Road on Saturday 22nd November 2014 at 12noon Attendees at the event will include: A representative from Celtic FC Jim Craig, Celtic Graves Society Patron David Potter, Celtic Historian Members of the McMenemy Family A blessing will be conducted at the graveside. “I don't think I ever played a better game. Anyone could play with McMenemy. He's one of the few to whome the term genius has been applied without hysterics.” – Adam Scott Duncan – Scottish Internationalist and later Manchester United manager. James “Jimmy” McMenemy is remembered as one of the greatest Celtic players of all time. His faithful service to the club over eighteen years was rewarded with an incredible eleven League Championship badges and six Scottish Cup medals. As the General of the Celtic attack for almost two decades and a master tactician who could dictate games through his passing, he was rightly known as ‘Napoleon' throughout his career. Originally from Rutherglen, he famously signed for Celtic ‘up a close in Union Street' before going on to become a famous son of Celtic. In the crucial inside-forward role his speed, passing and shooting ability were key figures in the 6-in-a-row side (1905-1910), the 4-in-a-row side (1914-17) and, seventeen years after his debut, the League Title winning side of 1919. Jimmy scored 168 goals in 515 appearances for Celtic. He played alongside some of the biggest Celtic names including Jimmy Quinn, Patsy Gallacher, Tommy McInally, Alec McNair and Andy McAtee. Nearing his 40th birthday Celtic gave him a free transfer – he joined Partick Thistle and he led them to Scottish Cup glory against Rangers the following season. ‘Nap' returned to Celtic Park as trainer under his old mentor Willie Maley from 1935-1940 and he is credited with helping shape Celtic's great team of 1936-1938 – including the famous front line of Delaney, Crum, Murphy, Buchan and MacDonald – which went on to win the Empire Exhibition Trophy against the best teams that England had to offer. Four of Jimmy's sons became professional footballers including John who won a Scottish Cup winners medal with Celtic in 1927 against East Fife. All Celtic Supporters are welcome to attend and flowers/tributes can be laid at the graveside. We're joined by Brett Pitman to discuss his career at AFC Bournemouth. On the pitch he has been through it all, with promotions, relegations, medals and more - and off-the-pitch the club was a bit tasty too! Brett discusses his time at an evolving AFC Bournemouth, and his other stints at Ipswich and Bristol City, as well as the current spell at Portsmouth. Tales include the disastrous spell under Jimmy Quinn, the near-move to Blackpool which fell apart due to the unfriendly nature of Karl Oyston, plus his constant rotating in the Championship season with Yann Kermorgant - did that frustrate him? Bournemouth has always been a club that has been associated with fast free-flowing football, and as a result of that, we have witnessed plenty of incredible goals over the years from an array of strikers, and on this show - we have a couple of guests that have lots of experience of hitting the back of the net for both Bournemouth and their other respective clubs. They were both born in the South, are both 5 foot 9, and both have played for Cherries in the naughties and 2010's… Firstly, Matt Tubbs... a player who netted 49 goals in 65 matches for Crawley Town - a ridiculous record! Asking the questions are Jeff Hayward and Sam Davis.
