This week, Cliff and Adam have their reviewer hats on for a pair of Lenovo laptops. Cliff has the Lenovo L13 Yoga, and Adam has the Thinkbook 14 Gen 2 with AMD Ryzen 5. The laptops are very similar to each other, with the obvious exception of the processor. The two laptops are different from each other in other ways too. The Yoga has a built-in stylus which artist Cliff is able to utilize quite well. Meanwhile, the Thinkbook has a surprising amount of horsepower, perfect for a podcaster. Ja übrigens und nur übrigens. Denn im Mittelpunkt steht der Elektronikbauchladen nicht wirklich, aber irgendwie kam der dauernd in die Quere. Es ging es los mit den für uns interessantesten Personalien der vergangen vier Wochen (Samsung, Avnet, IBM und natürlich LG), bevor wir unsere Standpunkte zu aktuellen Übernahmen und Fusionen zum Besten geben (Computacenter-HSD, Ergotrade-Sims Metal Management, Media Saturn Holding-redcoon.de (inklusive Interview mit notebooksbilliger.de-Chef Arnd von Wedemeyer). Nicht versäumen wollten wir, Provinzflüchtling Cancom als alten Neubürger in München zu begrüßen. Danach geht es flott über zu Anbahnern und Machern von Übernahmen wie Ex-BenQ-Chef Michael Grote und Ex-EP-Chef Julian Riedlbauer, versuchen uns Lenovos eigenen Webshop zu erklären, schweifen dann in Richtung Notebooks ab, um dann bei Microsofts Cloud-Lösung Intune zu landen (Kaseya kommt da irgendwie noch ins Spiel). Gen Ende picken (Neusprech für "empfehlen" in Podcaster-Kreisen) wir dann geziemend, betteln um weiteres Feedback und sagen artig auf Wiedersehen bis zur nächsten Folge. Und ganz, ganz zum Schluss wie immer noch ein echter Knaller. Der dürfte auch euch die Tränen in die Augen treiben.
