A huge episode this week as we recap WA's biggest event in the running calendar, the HBF Run for a Reason, with big numbers, nearly $2million going to local charities, and an abundance of weapon-like behaviour crossing the infamous blue carpet finish line. No better way to recap the weekend's event than the reigning Sand Queen, the future substitute WARP guest host when Chris goes to Europe, but more importantly HBF's Head of Brand and Growth Vici Richardson as we recap, the performances, the inspirational stories and plans for the 2026 edition and beyond. In this episode, John chats to Luke Burrows who is dedicated to raising consciousness for all, a mission that has driven him to create and become the Founder of Raising Consciousness, a lifestyle brand and podcast that combines passions for personal growth, health, spirituality, sports, and leadership & business to inspire people to reach their goals and live their life to the fullest. John and Luke talk about how he has made such great strides at such a young age, the skills and knowledge he shares with others to help them follow him on his experience, self-improvement and growth, consciousness in relationships and the service he offers through Raising Consciousness. KEY TAKEAWAYS Luke hopes for a better tomorrow by raising the consciousness of all to create a more connected and spiritual future generation. Raising Consciousness offers coaching, consulting and public speaking as well as the podcast. After issues with depression and anxiety and altering and redirecting his life, Luke knew that he could share his knowledge and experience to help others. Reflection is a powerful tool that can be utilised by everyone to recognise difficulties within their own lives. Daily journaling can be a lifelong habit that will constantly improve and reveal positive changes that can be enacted. Intention setting to pay attention, perhaps be kinder, more generous, or set boundaries are all part of self-improvement within relationships. A slow reaction, a delay in response can lead to a more thoughtful interaction that, instead of being driven by emotions of the moment, can be inspired by a more thoughtful response, resulting in better relationships. Raising Consciousness The Podcast contains in-depth conversations on such topics as health, environmental issues and personal growth. BEST MOMENTS ‘I always knew that I wanted to impact people and help people in a positive way to make progress and move things forward. It was really coming to the realisation of what that is for me and that I can bring my strengths and skills into the world to serve and help people.' – Luke ‘It's fascinating that you were able to make such a big leap within yourself.' - John ‘For me, consciousness is in everything that we do. It's a part of becoming a better version of ourselves which is the ultimate goal.' – Luke ‘I keep my circle very small. When I was starting my entrepreneurial journey that was a very challenging time because I was experiencing anxiety as well and I grew up with people who were very much more into the traditional youth stuff.' - Luke ‘So maybe my family doesn't get what I do; ”go get a normal job”. Beforehand I would feel hurt by that, now I've come to the realisation that they're just operating from their level of consciousness and so I am just going to show gratitude and kindness towards them' – Luke ‘If you're able to be self-aware and be, ok, I can feel what I feel right now but if I can just take a breath, take some time to respond rather than react I think that's an amazing quality to be able to have.' – John GUEST RESOURCES Website: https://lukeburrows.com/ Podcast: https://anchor.fm/raisingconsciousnessshow Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/reallukeburrows Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/reallukeburrows Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reallukeburrows VALUABLE RESOURCES links: www.johnkennycoaching.com The Bicycle Affect: https://youtu.be/oO7XZGvdWno Video Course with 1-2-1 coaching - https://the-relationship-guy.teachable.com/purchase?product_id=3607138 Video Course – https://the-relationship-guy.teachable.com/purchase?product_id=3607134 Link to my workshop - https://www.johnkennycoaching.com/5- things-you-need-to-create-a-healthy-loving-relationship/ To get in touch - email – john@johnkennycoaching.com or book a complimentary call – https://calendly.com/johnkennycoaching/30min If people want to order a copy of the book then they can just pay postage of £4.95 (RRP £8.99) - www.johnkennycoaching.com/podcast-book-offer Want to be able to address the relationship issues in your life? - Why not book in for a complimentary call and we can discuss how you can get the new started with some new types of relationships - https://calendly.com/johnkennycoaching/30min The Relationship Guy Podcast - https://omny.fm/shows/the-relationship-guy ABOUT THE HOST I am John Kenny, Award Winning Relationship Coach.Coaching people to experience healthy loving relationships. This week we are excited to be joined by Luke Burrows, founder of Grow2Gether, serial podcaster and someone committed to the personal growth journey. He talks to us about his story from dropping out of college, attempting and hating a 9-5, to then rediscovering a love for entrepreneurship and building a community of like minded millennials - all going through the self-growth journey. We discuss developing a growth mindset, purpose and the people and moments that have been influential for him.
I received an Instagram DM from Luke a couple weeks ago asking if I'd be interested in collaborating. How could I say no? This week I talk with Luke Burrows, all the way from the UK. Luke is an ambitious young adult, who decided secondary education wasn't for him and neither was working at a 9-5. He has started quite a few businesses so far in his life and learned a lot from the mistakes he's made, all of them leading to his current path of running Grow2Gether. Luke's goal is to constantly be improving himself through healthy habits and routines while also helping others figure out their own way to be the best version of themselves. You can check out all the things Luke is working on at https://www.instagram.com/reallukeburrows/ and check out Grow2Gether as it rebrands itself at https://www.instagram.com/Grow2Gether/ I hope you enjoyed this episode! ‘Trust yourself and take massive actions to the things that you want in your life.” - Luke Burrows In this episode, I interview Luke Burrows, a young entrepreneur with a big dream! After dropping out of college, at 18 he started a t-shirt brand which was a bit of a flop. He continued to stay in his 9-5 job and also worked in network marketing. Because of his drive and interested in personal development, he started his own business “Grow Together” - an online personal growth community and education platform that helps people to become a better version of themselves. He worked with different coaches and mentors within these areas to create specific pieces of training and resources that help people focus on their ultimate goal. So, in conclusion, in this episode, the biggest take away is to love what you're doing but if you're unhappy with it, then you need to do something about! Try different things to find out what you're passionate about and be open-minded to that!

Ep 31 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with young entrepreneur, mindset coach and community leader Luke Burrows During our conversation we heard how Luke has pushed through anxiety through self development, finding his purpose and value to now building a business and community, helping others grow. I admire Luke's attitude of “there must be more to life” and how he has used that along with “no regrets” to keep him growing and moving forward. The standout quote for me was “I can do anything, but I might not be able to do everything”. Luke is a passionate young man with a desire to help people win. He is a leader and it has been my pleasure to serve alongside him in his Grow2Gether community. For the full interview, head to Facebook | YouTube | Podcast Much love Ryan

What does audit your circle actually mean…? Audit your circle means taking a look around you and seeing if the people in your circle are in alignment with your vision, mission and purpose. At times in order to grow and more forward, you’re going to have to audit your circle. Not everyone is on the same path as you and although this can be challenging its important to continue pursuing your purpose alongside your goals and dreams - even if it means leaving our circle behind. This is definitely true for those who are always negative and are holding us back from being all that we can be! In this episode of Motivational Mentors, Luke Burrows and Arsenio Buck, explain how to audit your circle, the importance of doing so and from their experience how to connect with more like-minded people. As Gary Vee says, ditch one loser friend and go and find a winner! _____ Ask your questions and we will answer them
