Escuchar audio

The Constitution is under attack—and not just by Trump and the executive branch. For a long time, the conservative justices on the Supreme Court have been inconsistently interpreting the Constitution. But our guest, Madiba Dennie, says focusing on their decision-making processes is a trap. She says there's a better way for concerned citizens to take action against the backsliding of social progress fueled by the Supreme Court. Madiba K. Dennie is an attorney, columnist, and professor whose work focuses on fostering an equitable multiracial democracy. She is the deputy editor and senior contributor at the critical legal commentary website Balls and Strikes and the author of The Originalism Trap: How Extremists Stole the Constitution and How We the People Can Take It Back. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 10th and final study session on Andrée Blouin's My Country, Africa: Autobiography of the Black Pasionaria. A pivotal figure in the history of counter-racism/anti-colonialism throughout the continent of Africa, Blouin is not as well known as South Africa's Madiba and Winnie Mandela, Kenya's Maus Maus and other freedom fighters who participated in combating White Terrorism in Africa. However, Blouin was of monumental importance and, consequently, a target of CIA/White Supremacy campaigns. Gus T. was ignorant about Ms. Blouin, but she was prominently featured in the new documentary, Soundtrack to a Coup d'État - which examines the assassination of Patrice Lumumba. The film makes time to quote from Blouin's autobiography about the efforts to assassinate she, her family and Lumumba. Last week, Blouin described herself as a "militant," but made time to say: "It would be unfair to say that all the whites in the Congo were detestable (Racist)" Gus noted how cliché this remark is - especially for a "militant." She then turned to say the real enemies of Africa are Africans (non-white people). She also described the extraordinary faith Patrice Lumumba placed in her - including battling on her behalf publicly. This would seem to contradict the notion of legions of sexist black males who seek to dominate females.

Despite the fact that her mom detested her counter-racist efforts - even her work to get better medical treatment for non-white children. Blouin detailed the sad history of black males abusing black females to release their frustrations about the System of White Supremacy. #FirstTimeLastTime Portions of her work also seemed to suggest that Blouin's activist work was the result of her having a White father and producing children with several White Men. She contrasted the White Male ambition with the alleged cowardice and abuse of black males. This didn't sound like her mother's former partner Joseph Mialou, a decent black male whom her mother rejected. The White man refused to allow her mother into his residence and made it a habit to brutalize and maim the black people who served him.

Judy Sikuza, the CEO of the Nelson Rhodes Foundation, wants to amplify this spirit as one of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders. Sikuza is one of three African leaders selected to drive positive change in the world for the next three years. In an interview with Biznews, Sikuza expressed her desire to use this opportunity to explore how we could collaborate more effectively globally on a variety of issues, including AI and climate change. She also commented on the controversy around the use of Cecil John Rhodes' name, stating that Mandela saw it as an opportunity to practically express the legacy of reconciliation and reparations, and to redistribute some of the wealth to build the next generation.

This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We'll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS The so-called country of South Africa and many around the globe paused to recognize the decade that's passed since the death of Nelson Mandela. The problem Madiba dedicated his life to solving remains. In the US, television icon Norman Lear died at the ripe age of 101. Credited with legendary television shows like "All In The Family," "The Jeffersons," "Sanford & Son," and "Good Times," Lear's products have been staple elements of US entertainment and White Supremacy for about a half century. Some pundits suggest that Lear's shows, which broadcast black buffoonery and debauchery, lessened the abuse of Racist Whites. #WTH Speaking of bawdy, Congress held contentious sessions this week with the ivy league presidents of Harvard, MIT and the University of Pennsylvania. The hearings were held to examine "antisemitism" on college campuses. Harvard's black female president Claudine Gay was excoriated for not providing yes or no answers about what type of speech is allowed on campus. Following the hearing, 74, mostly White, members of Congress signed a letter calling for Gay and the presidents of MIT and Penn to resign. #NoSugaryDrinks #NoAlcohol #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

So today, Africa Daily's Mpho Lakaje sits down with two of his former ministers, Sydney Mufamadi and Roelf Meyer. What was it like reporting to one of the most prominent political figures of the 21st century? But most importantly, what type of legacy did the man affectionately known as Madiba leave behind? His country is facing a mountain of problems including joblessness, power outages and persistent government corruption. If he was still alive, would Mandela associate with the ruling ANC party? These are some of the questions Mpho is asking his guests.

The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Robert Kaplan live from Wollongong, Australia. A forensic psychiatrist, writer and historian, Dr. Kaplan is Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong's Graduate School of Medicine. Gus stumbled upon his research while investigating Michael Swango, a White convicted serial killer who murdered White and non-white people from Illinois to Africa. Mr. Swango is no anomaly, White medical serial workers have avoided detection and managed to kill hundreds of unsuspecting patients. Dr. Kaplan writes about this growing phenomenon called “clinicide”/Carer Assisted Serial Killing. He submits that this is a growing field of crime, and with an aging population around the planet, there could be a growing number of people at risk. The racial component of this cannot be overstated as most if not all of the murdering doctors and nurses are classified as White and non-white people, especially if they're classified as black, are often prohibited from practicing medicine. And White Women and White Men in White lab coats generally command supreme authority, respect, and deference. So it can be hard to question them - especially for non-white people with no medical expertise. We'll also discuss Dr. Kaplan's work on Dr. Aubery Levin, who used his medical skills to support apartheid South Africa and then absconded to Canada to avoid Madiba's regime and molest male patients. #LucyLetby #BlackMalePrivilege #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#

Nelson Mandela was a giant of the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa and the country's first democratically elected President, but he also had a wonderful sense of humour. That is just one of the recollections of American politician and activist Andrew Young, a former US Ambassador to the UN and friend of the man who was affectionately known as Madiba, his Xhosa clan name.Mr. Young was US Ambassador in the late 1970s, when Mr. Mandela was still serving out a lifetime sentence for treason before being released in 1990 after 27 years in prison.Mr. Young, 91, was back at the UN on Thursday for the official commemoration of Nelson Mandela International Day.  He spoke to UN News's Dianne Penn.
