Bienvenue sur le podcast Esprit Sérendipité !
This week I am reading from Richard Martini's book 'Close Encounters of the Flipside Kind: How To Phone Home'.For the past fifteen years, Richard has been filming, recording interviews with people talking to people offstage via hypnotherapy, mediumship or via guided meditation. In this book, Richard interviews people offstage about Aliens - including physicists who have left the stage (Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan) as well as psychiatrists and scientists on the Flipside, (John E Mack, J Allen Hynek) peppering these interviews with personal accounts from people who were "visited by aliens" or who had an experience seeing them on their "council" or seeing them during a guided meditation or via hypnosis. People report the same things - that "we are all aliens" because "we all choose to come here from elsewhere" Mind bending reports. As Gary Schwartz PhD wrote in the foreword to his first book FLIPSIDE, "this is the kind of book where one you've read it, you'll never see the world in the same way again."BioWriter/Director/Author Richard is an award winning filmmaker, who has written and/or directed 9 theatrical features, and a number of documentaries. His first book, "Flipside: A Tourist's Guide on How to Navigate the Afterlife" went to #1 twice at Amazon in all its genres. The book is based on transcripts of a documentary he made which is available at Amazon (Flipside: A Journey Into the Afterlife) and Gaia TV. His books "It's a Wonderful Afterlife" volumes one and two expands the research into the afterlife from Michael Newton's work, to include interviews with a number of scientists in the field of consciousness, including Dr. Bruce Greyson, Dr. Mario Beauregard, and Gary Schwartz Phd. He also examines near death experiences and compares their accounts to similar ones during between life sessions (the technique used by Michael Newton that allows people to access the between lives realm, or LBLs) and other examples (OBEs) where people may have lost their ability to think normally, but are having the same experiences. In "Hacking the Afterlife" he interviews mediums and explores "interviewing people no longer on the planet."
In this interview I talk with Mario Beauregard, a neurologist who lost his tenure for researching consciousness in the brain. He was the first neuroscientist to use neuroimaging to investigate the neural underpinnings of conscious and voluntary emotion regulation. Because of his research into the neuroscience of consciousness, he was selected (2000) by the World Media Net to be one of the “One Hundred Pioneers of the 21st Century.” In addition, his groundbreaking research on the neurobiology of spiritual experiences has received international media coverage, and a documentary film has been produced about his work (The Mystical Brain, 2007). Mario has written Brain Wars, the Spiritual Brain, and Expanding Reality which we discuss. https://www.amazon.com/stores/Mario-beauregard/author/B001IGOE2K?ref=ap_rdr&store_ref=ap_rdr&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=true Beauregard co-authored The Manifesto for a Post-Materialist Science with Rupert Sheldrake and others. https://opensciences.org/files/pdfs/Manifesto-for-a-Post-Materialist-Science.pdf In our interview, we discuss brain plasticity, meditation, psychedelics, spiritual experiences, NDEs, and even a brief mention of entities that Mario has encountered. One of the most revealing interviews I have ever done. I was honored to get to talk to someone who is an expert on the brain and on consciousness.
Prof. Mario Beauregard is a retired Canadian cognitive neuroscientist. He last taught at the University of Arizona's psychology department, and earlier. During his career Prof Beauregard has focused his research on proving that the mind and consciousness are not limited to neural brain activity and to show that spirituality is central to being a human being. This work has included investigating the brain states of nuns reliving mystical experiences and people reliving previous near death experiences. World Media Net named Mario as one of the 100 pioneers of the 21st century. He is a co-author of the Manifesto for a Post-Materialist Science and one of the founders of the Academy for the Advancement of Postmaterialist Science and the Campaign for Open Science, along with Rupert Sheldrake and Dean Radin. In addition to writing over 100 papers, Prof. Beauregard is the author of several books including the "Spiritual Brain" and "Brain Wars". His most recent is "Expanding Reality: The Emergence of Postmaterialist Science" which lays out the scientific case for consciousness not being reduced to simply brain activity that may lead to a new scientific revolution. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Montreal and has conducted research at the University of Texas and McGill University's Neurological Institute. This week I'm reading an extract from Richard Martini's book 'The Greatest Story Never Told: As Told by Jesus and Those Who Knew Him'.This book is recorded conversations (on film, via skype, zoom) with people who spontaneously claim to be “seeing” “hearing” or otherwise getting information from someone they identify as Jesus. Some claim to have “seen him before” “never seen him before” or “they don't believe in him” but are somehow accessing him. But the consistency of content is what drew me to the reports.I'm a writer/director of theatrical motion pictures. I've written and/or directed eight feature films, including “Limit Up” and “You Can't Hurry Love.” I've written 10 “best-selling books” (kindle in their genre) about the research of what people say under hypnosis about the afterlife, and recently books with the help of a medium talking directly to folks I knew no longer on the planet, (“Backstage Pass to the Flipside” 1, 2 and 3 with Jennifer Shaffer). I've written miniseries for HBO (“The De Medicis” – unproduced) and other film companies. I've written scripts for major film studios (including David Kirkpatrick, our trusty foreword fellow) worked on the feature films of Robert Towne (“Personal Best”) and Phillip Noyce (“Salt.”) It's not like I'm seeking this line of investigation… it literally fell into my lap. While filming people under hypnosis or not under hypnosis, “seeing” or “hearing” from Jesus started to become more frequent in the footage. At first it was disconcerting. People not under hypnosis saying “I'm seeing Jesus. I don't know why I'm seeing him because I don't believe in him!” Eventually I took the leap; “Well, can we ask him a question?”To my chagrin the answers “he gave” weaved a different story of his life. A story that had echoes of “The Life of St. Issa” as well as other tales of his “survival” from the crucifixion. These consistent yet contrary stories challenged my conception of who he was, challenged my ideas of what consciousness might be, and basically challenge my existence in more ways than one. I published a number of those interviews in “Hacking the Afterlife” but recently while writing “Architecture of the Afterlife” I've had more people claim he was “showing up.” And the more he showed up, the more stories he told about his path and journey that mirrored the previous ones. And finally, the author, former studio exec David Kirkpatrick suggested “letting him speak.”Needless to say, there's no way to prove they are his words or it's him speaking. However, what he says is consistent, what he says is contrary to the mythology of him. Allow me to say that again; every time he shows up, he recounts the same contrary story about his life, which is an alternate version of the “Greatest Story Ever Told.” When asked why he was interested in "telling an alternate version of his life" he's reportedly said on more than one occasion: "It's not alternate if it's true." In this book you'll hear a linear story about the alpha and omega as told by him and those who reportedly knew him.I've been reluctant to share this story for years; I offer these pages to help people make a DIRECT connection with him. He's not gone; he's just not here. I encourage everyone to ask him on their own.BioWriter/Director/Author Richard is an award winning filmmaker, who has written and/or directed 9 theatrical features, and a number of documentaries. His story doesn't change, but the people who tell it do.That's why it's a story that has never been told.I'm a writer/director of theatrical motion pictures. This week the books I am reading from are 'A Primer For The Zeta Race' by Paul Hamden and William Treurniet and 'Divine Councils in the Afterlife: The Flipside Court' by Richard MartiniWe deal with four races, but my main contact is from the Zeta Reticuli star system. I have had a physical visit via a craft from the Zeta being who was accompanied by a companion of the same race.We were not able to speak to each other then, as this initial meeting took place at a distance of around fifty meters. I wondered for a time why there was no closer contact, but now I realize the craft was emitting a frequency and I would have sustained burns if I had gone too near. At this encounter I had three friends with me, three human witnesses who saw the two beings as well.We have encountered energetic beings from other races who have a physical form and live in our galaxy, as well as some non-corporeal beings. We deal primarily with four races who introduced themselves using our language as Zeta, Anunnaki, Sirius, and Pleiadian. The main guide, a Zeta, is in physical form and it does occasionally connect to me telepathically under the right conditions. After many years of development, we have been able to connect successfully to the races of beings and, via a controlled trance-like state, they have performed the functions of discussion, healing, and manipulation of physical electrical items. The books written by the authors are also listed on Amazon and a transcript of the Zetas speaking is called The Zeta Interviews.BioPaul and Syann are both life-long contactees of the Zeta race and have clear conscious recall of their contact with the beings that they work with. They are both deep trance mediums working with Spirit guides to assist others.Pauls earliest memories of being visited by the Zetas are from when he was 18 months old. In 1978, he and three friends witnessed what is now referred to as a ‘tic tac' craft no more than ten meters away. In 2013 in New South Wales, Paul arranged for a craft to come – it physically landed with 20 people present; the beings came out of the craft and walked around the 20 people.Syann's earliest memories of contact with the Zeta are from 4yrs old where she was introduced to small boy of a similar age. She met the same boy on board a craft several years later – this boy was Paul. Both she and Paul have the same shared memory of time onboard craft together, as well as many other shared and separate experiences on craft and being with the Zetas.Paul's relationship with the Zetas entered into a conscious two-way interactive training process some 25 years ago which has resulted in the facilitation of many medically evidenced healings by the Zeta's of people with a variety of physical injuries, diseases and conditions. Syann has been undergoing this training for the last 15 years and is in the early stages of the same process and also works with the Zetas to create energy embedded art to act as a connection tool; for some, this energy is very tangible. Paul and Syann have regular visitation by the Zeta's to their home, including craft visits which are experienced by others, photographed and recorded.Through Paul, the Zeta's have communicated much information over the years that has been studied by scientists, and as such, many books have been published, such as “A primer of the Zeta race” and “The Zeta Interviews” which were co-authored by a retired ex-government communication scientist. Paul and Syann's latest book - “The Zeta mind” is a short handbook for individuals who wish to learn how to safely contact extraterrestrial raceshttps://www.the-zeta-connection.com/https://www.amazon.com/Primer-Zeta-Race-Paul-Hamden-ebook/dp/B0BC28C8ZG/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1669985527&sr=8-1Richard Martini 'Divine Councils in the Afterlife: The Flipside Court'.I first heard about “a council of elders” in Michael Newton's books and in his interview for my film “Flipside.” Michael was a therapist who had thousands of reports about the afterlife.. Since his interview I've found other accounts of “divine councils” in the work of psychologist Dr. Helen Wambach (“Reliving Past Lives”) to descriptions of “wise beings” and in the near death accounts from Dr. Bruce Greyson (from his book “After”). It sounds like some sci-fi concept based on legal courts; etheric judges in robes passing sentences in the afterlife? My use of the word "court" is tongue in cheek. In the over 100 examples I've filmed of people accessing their “councils” they report wise teachers who don't “pass judgment” per se, but act as ombudsmen, like professors conducting a doctoral thesis; asking pointed questions about what a person learned during their lifetime versus what they said they'd planned to learn.Newton observed people report “two visits” to their council, one prior to incarnation, a kind of “preproduction meeting” where individuals go over what they have in mind or planned to learn, then a “return visit” after the lifetime, where they experience a “past life review” of what they did or did not accomplish.During the "life review" people report they experience first-hand all the good or bad they did in their previous lifetime. This can be disconcerting for some, making the experience feel like a “courtroom” where they're being judged. All those in attendance report seeing them experience the pain, suffering or trauma they inflicted upon others. People report experiencing these events first hand, while the council – sometimes an entire auditorium of participants – watches the person squirm for the mistakes they've made. In essence, it is a “judgement day” as the person experiencing the life review gets the benefit of seeing how these events were part of a person's overall journey over many lifetimes. It could include events that had a genesis in a previous lifetime, a story point being paid off in this one – or for some to realize events had been “requested” by others asking for help. In these “past life reviews” one could argue that it's akin to experiencing “hell” because the person feels the pain and trauma and suffering they inflicted, but from the perspective of their victims. But this book isn't about judgments.I was more interested in exploring and demonstrating “everyone has a council” or that “anyone can visit their council.” One doesn't have to have a special ticket, doesn't have to have a near death experience to get in – doing simple guided meditation can allow access to one's council. It's easier for a person to visit their council with the benefit of a hypnotherapy session; in the multi-hour sessions done by Newton Institute therapists, often include visits to their “council” for advice that can help them on their journey. But people who can meditate, visualize or comment on things in their minds, are capable of visiting their councils as well. Hypnosis is not required, but helps. It's not opinion, theory or belief people visit their councils – in this experiment, the majority of people had never visited their council before. This week I'm talking to Richard Martini about his book 'Divine Councils in the Afterlife: The Flipside Court'.I first heard about “a council of elders” in Michael Newton's books and in his interview for my film “Flipside.” Michael was a therapist who had thousands of reports about the afterlife.. (The documentaries "Flipside" and "Hacking The Afterlife" Films both include trips to a council.. (available on Gaia)In this book you will read about various people chatting with their councils. "It's A Wonderful Afterlife: Further Adventures into the Flipside" takes a quantum leap forward into the afterlife, includes interviews with scientists discussing the source of consciousness, comparing near-death experiences (NDE) with between life sessions (LBL), and includes interviews with people who claim to be speaking from the afterlife. There is a new between life sessions with astounding claims of contact with the afterlife, with experiencing God and understanding life's journey.Volume One includes a Foreword by Charles Grodin, interviews with scientists dealing with consciousness outside the brain; Mario Beauregard, Neuroscientist ("Brain Wars") Dr. Bruce Greyson, the father of NDE research, the research of Dr. Helen Wambach along with that of Dr. Michael Newton ("Journey of Souls"). It includes interviews with near-death experiencers David Bennett ("Voyage of Purpose"), Jeremy Kagan, Dr. Rajiv Parti and Jeffry Martini. Book interviews Newton trained hypnotherapist Scott De Tamble, compare accounts of Dr. Eben Alexander ("Proof of Heaven") and Colton Burpo ("Heaven is for Real.")Volume Two includes interviews with Gary Schwartz, Ph.D. ("Sacred Promise"), Chaplain Savarna Wiley, Michael Newton Institute President Peter Smith, and several accounts of people having direct contact with people in the afterlife who are no longer on the planet. Also transcripts of between-life sessions, including those that examine previous near death experiences. The author explores his own unconventional journey to this research and includes a between-life session of his own in both volumes. Interspersed throughout are transcripts of between life sessions with some very unusual folks who have clear memories not only of their previous lives, but of the between lives realm where they claim to have chosen their current lifetime.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/houseofmysteryradio. This week I'm talking to Richard Martini about his book 'Tuning into the Afterlife: How to Stay in Touch with the Flipside'.This is the Ninth Book of Richard Martini's Journey into the Flipside. Starting with "Flipside: A tourist's guide on how to Navigate the afterlife" Richard has been filming people under hypnosis talking about the afterlife, as well as filming people not under hypnosis talking about the afterlife. He's done interviews with mediums who work with law enforcement agencies nationwide on missing person cases ("Backstage Pass to the Flipside" with Jennifer Shaffer books 1, 2 and 3). He and Jennifer have a podcast where they weekly speak directly to folks no longer on the planet. (HackingTheAfterlife.com) The last book was "Architecture of the Afterlife" where he used the example of his father, R. Charles Martini, an architect in Chicago who taught him how to read a blueprint. In this book, he focuses on the knowledge his mother gave him, a concert pianist who used to perform regularly in Washington during WWII, who often invited the first chairs of the Chicago Symphony to their home. That began a lifetime in music, including performing with bands in LA ("Imminent Disaster") composing music for feature films ("Point of Betrayal" "Cannes Man"). In his interviews with mediums (Jennifer Shaffer, Kimberly Babcock, Raylene Nuanes) different musicians would come through to discuss what it was like for them on the flipside. By realizing he could ask more detailed questions from people who are no longer were on the planet, he took this musical journey into the "the afterlife." As Gary Schwartz PhD said about "Flipside" - "Once you've read this book, you'll never see the world in the same way again." A best selling author, he's an award winning filmmaker who has written and/or directed 9 films, documentaries "Flipside" and "Hacking the Afterlife" are available online. Praise for "Architecture of the Afterlife" - "One of the things that makes this book so compelling and justifiable, IS the amount of EVIDENCE Martini amasses to backup the interviews, experiences and explorations undertaken here" "Eye opening, fascinating, and entertaining" Another home run for Rich Martini." "Thought provoking, and just plain fun. I absolutely loved this book!"BioWriter/Director/Author Richard is an award winning filmmaker, who has written and/or directed 9 theatrical features, and a number of documentaries. Do religious experiences come from God, or are they merely the random firing of neurons in the brain? Drawing on his own research with Carmelite nuns, neuroscientist Mario Beauregard shows that genuine, life-changing spiritual events can be documented. He offers compelling evidence that religious experiences have a nonmaterial origin, making a convincing case for what many in scientific fields are loath to consider...

This week on The Past Lives Podcast I am talking to Richard Martini. This is a great interview with Richard. He is full of amazing information and the conversation could have gone on a lot longer. The problem was that the Skype call kept dropping and the quality was causing audio glitches. I was able to clean up the sound and edit out most of the glitches but not all of them. Writer/Director/Author Richard is an award winning filmmaker, who has written and/or directed 8 theatrical features, and a number of documentaries. In "Hacking the Afterlife" he interviews mediums and explores "interviewing people no longer on the planet." As Gary Schwartz put it after reading "Flipside" "Inspiring, well written and entertaining. The kind of book where once you have read it, you will no longer be able to see the world in the same way again. www.richmartini.com/
After years of studying alongside Carmelite nuns, Mario Beauregard, neuroscientist and author of “The Spiritual Brain,” argues a religious experience goes beyond an event in our brain, random neurons firing, or simple delusions, but can occur through a higher power outside of our brain and body. In this interview, Dr. Mario Beauregard speaks with Dr. Oz, and shares evidence and stories of near death experiences that link what many researchers rarely consider. » https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VF89e6EO34c
Do religious experiences come from God, or are they merely the random firing of neurons in the brain? Drawing on his own research with Carmelite nuns, neuroscientist Mario Beauregard shows that genuine, life-changing spiritual events can be documented. He offers compelling evidence that religious experiences have a nonmaterial origin. Mario Beauregard, PhD., is a neuroscientist currently affiliated with the Department of Psychology, University of Arizona. He has received a bachelor degree in psychology and a doctorate degree in neuroscience from the University of Montreal. He has also underwent postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Texas Medical School (Houston) and the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI), McGill University. Dr. Beauregard is the author of more than 100 publications (articles, essays, book chapters) in neuroscience, psychology, and psychiatry. He was the first neuroscientist to use neuroimaging to investigate the neural underpinnings of voluntary control in relation to emotion.
