What are you measuring yourself up against? Sadly, for years, I was measuring myself up against so many other people. That's why my life and path looked like a dang heart rate monitor. Up here, down there, over there, back down, back up. It's dizzying just thinking about it.  The shift happened when I started measuring myself up against a version of myself that I wanted to be. Shortly after, my path got clearer and straighter. And **my** version of success started becoming a reality. I'm not the only one this happened to. Former NFL Linebacker, Bryan Schwartz, has a similar story that will open your eyes wide, and he's my Guest on this week's episode of the Coming Up Clutch with J.R.™ show.  If you want a clearer and straighter path to your desired future, then lock in to this week's episode! In this episode, you'll hear: What to do when you're feeling like your contribution in life is not big enough. How to continue to move forward from the condemnation that comes with past failures and mistakes.  The recurring problem that Bryan sees with high capacity people. Importance of maintaining an open mindset to seize unexpected opportunities. Examining the negative effects of comparison and pressure. Importance of seeking help and embracing grace and acceptance in personal development. Key Quotes “The best coaches in the world can see things in you that you can't see yourself.” - Bryan Schwartz “The enemy of your soul doesn't bring up accusations that aren't true. He's always bringing up things that are true.” - Bryan Schwartz “Reframe your failures through the light of God's goodness. It's the difference between trying to get forgiven and living FROM forgiven.” - Bryan Schwartz “You think differently when you know you've already won.” - Bryan Schwartz “Forget what you don't have. What happens when you step back from the roles you've inherited and embrace a life that truly reflects who you are? Join Finola as she chats with systemic coach and facilitator Norma O'Kelly, exploring the transformative power of systemic coaching. Drawing from her extensive training, Norma shares insights on how the interconnected systems of family, school, and workplace shape our identities and influence our actions. In a world that often feels isolating, where can we find genuine support? Norma opens up about her journey of stepping into an elder's role too soon, ultimately leading to burnout. She sheds light on how systemic coaching and constellations can help restore balance in our familial roles. By connecting with our ancestors—whether through cherished items or vivid memories—we can combat loneliness and revitalise our entrepreneurial spirit. Norma also emphasises the importance of setting boundaries and moving away from a rescue mentality, which is crucial for our well-being and professional success. She shares practical exercises to help you understand your family dynamics and leverage those insights to grow your personal and professional life. If you're feeling stuck energetically, get ready to step out of entanglement and into a life of empowerment! Key points throughout include: Systemic Coaching 101: Understanding the systems that shape our lives The cost of caring: How self-neglect can lead to burnout Stepping into freedom and embracing new beginnings with support and space Connecting with the past: The power of guidance resources in systemic coaching Energy drains vs. radiators: The importance of positive influences Bridging family and business: The impact of systemic coaching on entrepreneurial values Objects of connection: A gentle, practical exercise to explore family ties Embracing your wholeness: Finding freedom and authority within "You are whole and resourced. You're not broken. You don't need to be fixed. You have tons of resources and now it's time to start accessing them."– Norma O'Kelly. Are you aware of the hidden dangers in tampons? This video delves into the health risks associated with tampon use, focusing on toxic heavy metals like lead, arsenic, and cadmium. You'll learn about the health risks from these metals, how vaginal absorption affects your health, and why organic labels might not guarantee safety. Key findings reveal detectable levels of heavy metals in all tested tampons, with non-organic ones showing higher lead concentrations and organic ones having more arsenic. Contamination can come from materials, water, air, soil, and manufacturing processes. Symptoms of heavy metal toxicity include neurological issues, irritability, cognitive decline, gastrointestinal problems, and anemia from lead; memory loss, mood swings, and kidney issues from mercury; and skin problems, gastrointestinal distress, and cardiovascular issues from arsenic. For safer options, consider medical-grade silicone menstrual cups, research brands for manufacturing transparency, and ask about heavy metal testing and safety standards. Right-Size Defense Spending

A Bold Plan for America with John Burke

America needs to drastically rein in defense spending to tackle the $33 trillion national debt. In this episode, Burke proposes a "simplification plan" to streamline the bloated military-industrial complex, close redundant global bases, and scale back nuclear arsenal costs. Burke argues that the U.S. can increase capabilities while slashing the current $800 billion defense budget by $200 billion annually through smart prioritization. Challenging the next president to treat citizens as "adults," he frames defense overspending as a critical "puzzle" requiring bold solutions. Drawing from "A Bold Plan for America," Burke seeks to educate and inspire transformational change. To download your free copy of A Bold Plan for America: https://aboldplan.com/book/For quizzes, blogs, and more content visit: https://aboldplan.com/See A Bold Plan for America for citations: https://aboldplan.com/download/ABoldPlanforAmerica.pdf

How can I get organized when I'm so busy? This is a very valid concern and one that I had too. I used to carve out entire weekends or take days off of work just so that I could get organized. The problem with this is that since I felt like I had carved out all this time I could get a ton done. And it was inevitable that I would bite off more than I could chew. I'd get to the end of the day or weekend and find that I wasn't finished. Or worse yet, I would get stuck part way through or feel completely overwhelmed at the size of the task and simply give up! I would never finish. If carving out huge blocks of time in your schedule to get organized is NOT something that will work for you, then right sizing your project will be a game changer! As someone who is or feels like they're just starting their home organizing journey you want to be set up for lasting home organizing solutions, right?  In order to make that happen you'll have to do something different than you've done before or what society tells us. Instead of carving out huge blocks of time where you feel pressured to get it all done, you can right size your projects throughout your entire home organizing journey. In this episode I'll share with you what right sizing means, why you must do so and how to figure out the right size project to start with.  You can dive deeper into right sizing your first home organizing project with me by your side. Sign up for The Secrets to Lasting Home Organization at www.homeorganizingforbeginners.com. Join me next week as we dive into strategy 5, Pictures.
