Hey Mama, ever asked the Lord why he won't just take your destructive anger away?Struggling with destructive anger, shame, guilt, or overwhelm? In this episode, we dive into the question, “Why won't God just take away my destructive anger?” Discover how God's gift of free will invites us to grow through our struggles, lean on His grace, and build stronger relationships with our kids. Through personal stories, scriptures, and practical encouragement, you'll learn how to pause, process big emotions, and ask, “Lord, what are you teaching me? Where are you growing flowers from my dirt?” Plus, find out how your growth can become a gift to others, helping them navigate their own challenges.Key Points:God doesn't take away our struggles because He gives us free will, inviting us to choose His way and grow in faith (Galatians 5:16-17, Ephesians 5:10).Managing emotions is like starting a new exercise routine—it's hard at first, but with practice, you build strength to choose God's path. When we slip up, God's grace covers us, and recovery helps us move forward (Romans 7:22-25, 2 Corinthians 12:7-10).Our struggles produce “flowers” (growth and healing) that we can share with others, like supporting a friend or modeling grace for our kids (Ephesians 5:18-20).Tools like the Trigger Tracker and SIT & Pray can help you process emotions and seek God's will (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17).Tools & Links: Help! Hey, Mama, you've heard you need to process emotions, but what does it mean? In this episode, Natalie shares how to process those big emotions with God's help, so you can find peace and joy in the chaos of motherhood. Through personal stories, biblical encouragement, and practical steps, Natalie guides you to notice, name, and work through your emotions. Plus, learn how to start today with her free Trigger Tracker!Key Points:What is Processing Emotions? Processing emotions means noticing, naming, and working through feelings like anger, guilt, shame, and overwhelm with God's guidance, rather than suppressing or exploding. Why It Matters: Emotions are God-given, and even Jesus felt anger and sorrow. Processing them helps you break free from destructive cycles and find joy in motherhood.Three Practical Steps:Notice and Name the Emotion: Pause when triggered and identify what you're feeling (e.g., anger, shame). Use the Trigger Tracker to pinpoint what sparked it.Bring It to God: Pray honestly or journal about your emotions, offering them to God. He can handle your mess!Reframe and Respond: Ask God for truth, then take one small action—like apologizing, taking a break, or reaching out to a friend.Overcoming Barriers: God's grace covers guilt and shame (2 Corinthians 12:9). Start small to combat overwhelm, and break isolation by connecting with others. The Goal: Less yelling, more laughter, and a lighter heart as you process emotions with God.Scripture References:Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”James 1:19-20: “Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.”Lamentations 3:22-23: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end.”Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”2 Corinthians 12:9: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”Tools & Links: Help! In this episode, I sit down with Natalie Harvey, secondary principal at Beijing City International School (BCIS), to explore how her team is shifting culture around student agency while still honoring the demands of a rigorous curriculum. In this episode, I'm chatting with the brilliant Natalie Miller about what it really means to invest in your business and the huge impact this can have not just on your life, but on society as a whole. For people who have been traditionally left out of money making, it can feel dangerous, taboo or even shameful to desire more. Whether we realise it or not, we hold ourselves back: we under-price, we overwork, we focus on the limits of our market value instead of our value. Natalie and I talk through how you can break out of this shame cycle and into a space that prioritises your values on a level that not only improves your own life, but also allows you to invest in others in a life changing way. We get deep into what it means to invest, and how to define the value of investments that are less tangible, like learning, coaching and self-development. If you're looking to make an investment that allows your business to grow in impact, income, and integrity, this is one not to miss! More about Natalie: Natalie is a feminist coach and host of podcast Mind Witchery, who helps evolutionary leaders pivot into whole-self-honouring lives and work. Through coaching with Natalie, big-hearted people learn to love and listen to themselves, fully walk their talk, live more and more generously, and get as potent and free as they know they're meant to be. And then it kind of takes me away from the dollar amount. It takes me away from: how many pounds? And is much more like: Okay, what do I need to do in my own life in order to get access to that?” “I think if we're going to a coach and we are thinking, ‘they're going to give me something I don't have,' we're going to be disappointed. Because a) it doesn't work like that… It's not like donating blood. I can't say: here's some courage, here you go. It's more like: I'm resonating with this and that person. That must be because it already exists in me. So let me, they can help me find that.” “That's another reason to invest in coaching with someone who shares your values, right? As you get more powerful, you'll exercise that power with more integrity.” “I love to tip 100%, at least when I have a service. When I have something for my body or when I travel, I love to leave a large tip for the person who cleans rooms… and the way that I am able to do that is to be a conduit for wealth: the more money that I can kind of pull through and inspire my clients to pull through.” “I might be saying: let's all have wealth that changes the world. But if I'm not changing my own self, if I'm not working on the ways that the world is constantly asking me to be afraid, then basically that is where the business model becomes exploitative.”

EPISODE 3 - “Nobody Expects You To Be Made of Steel On the Inside.”Greetings Super friends! Welcome to Superman & Lois & Pals. I'm Henry Bernstein and alongside me is my favorite super pal, Professor Sam Brody. Let's talk about Superman and Lois Season 2 Episode 3S02E02 - “The Thing In The Minds”Directed by  Gregory SmithWritten by Katie Aldrin and Juliana JamesLois reaches out to her father Sam to get help sneaking John into the mines to figure out what it's connection is to Clark's visions. Clark suffers outbursts of endangering those close to him. Meanwhile, Lana has second thoughts about running for mayor, while Jon and Jordan have to consider what they've learned about their girlfriends.Lois: Obviously we have to talk about the big reveal/swerve but I'm actually at this moment slightly more interested in the big Lois reveal. First of all I love the idea that Lois exposed a cult that her sister was involved in and now she's going to get her own villain that wasn't previously in the comics and seems scary etc. I really really like the idea of Lois having a dangerous/unbeatable adversary that isn't Lex Luthor (even though I'm ready for Cryer's Luthor). I'm a little confused about the timeline. Did all this happen after Lucy appeared on Supergirl? Are we to understand that Lucy is currently in the cult? And that the expose didn't lead to Ally Allston's arrest? It seems like they are borrowing a lot from the NXIVM cult. Do you think this is either a shot or a reference to that explicitly because of Allison Mack/Chloe Sullivan? Very interesting Superman connection there. Loving Sam's babyface turn and actually apologizing. This is not the Sam Lane we know from the comics.Sorry but the teenage “I love yous” is just so hard to watch. Clark is right. Jordan doesn't know jack shit about love. And I do like the resolution to wait a year and then revisit it.Jonathan: Is it believable that a good kid like Jon would turn to harmful drugs? Like how does this kid not have Clark and Lois in his head. Is he That desperate to have a HS football career? Eh.John Henry and Natalie: Natalie being mad at her dad for helping Superman is a big nothing burger. Especially because it was a fake out where she DID want to help upgrade the suit.Bizarro: Ok the big reveal. Not surprised they swerved us and I'm happy they did. I guess I always prefer sympathetic Bizarro (not evil or comical) but this could still go that way. I like that they used elements of Doomsday to tease it but have it be Bizarro. The show has done a great job with using aspects of the mythos but not just giving us exactly what's in the comics. Let's see where this goes.  The fight Superman and Covered up Bizarro had was straight up Injustice/Mortal Kombat

She’s here to help you unearth your numbers, or your superpowers (hidden in your birth name and birth date) so you can create the life you really want. For over a decade, Nat has been coaching individuals in her private Numerology practice. She’s become the secret weapon for best-selling authors, Wall-street financiers and CEO’s of multi-million dollar companies. She has also been a featured columnist for the largest online Numerology and Spiritual community in the world, Numerologist.com, with over 2 million trusted viewers and readers. In 2019 Nat launched two Numerology programs with the Numerologist.com team to help reach more people with this life-changing ancient wisdom! “Honoring yourself and advocating for ourselves in our day-to-day lives is where so many magical things happen.” How Natalie used her life path number to understand her purpose and course correct her life. (15:00)Natalie’s life path number is 8: the number of leaders, authority, and CEOs. The deeper spiritual undertones is that the challenge and mission of 8s is being empowered and taking power back. Natalie was at the time under the thumb of authority figures and felt disempowered in her career. By understanding the energy she was meant to step into, she moved past the energy of feeling like she would never make it on her own and she went out and pursued her own life.“When you learn about your numerology chart, you’ll understand that the things you thought were weird or burdensome about you are actually what make you special.” How can business owners use numerology to understand themselves and their businesses? (18:16)The root of this work is knowing yourself. The common denominator among successful people who benefit from this work is that people can be really successful from the outside, but if they’re not honoring the way they were designed, they’re still experiencing stress and unhappiness.“The key here is we have to honor how we’re designed. When we do that, we’re able to click into the slipstream of our business.” How numerology can help you understand your relationships and create them authentically from who you are. (42:00)After a painful breakup, Natalie brainstormed her ideal partner after looking at her chart from the lens of relationships. Things she had never given herself permission to honor before. And because of that, she manifested an incredible partner who shares her values.“We know things about ourselves in private, but actually writing it down and actively honoring it is where the transformation happens and the miracles occur.” Stay in touch with Natalie:Natalie's WebsiteInstagramThe Numerology Chick Podcast Let's keep in touch!Join the Business as a Magical Practice private Facebook GroupFollow us on Instagram: @thedirtyalchemyVisit our website: thedirtyalchemy.com

"There's little value in a college degree if you want to be an entrepreneur." We've all heard this before. This college-dropout entrepreneurship culture is becoming increasingly pervasive in modern-day society, especially across social media platforms, and the question is, is this really the case? Natalie Riso defends her college degree and shares how she balanced academia, entrepreneurship, journalism, content creation, and many other endeavours all at once as a student. As such, her significant growth is palpable proof of the indelible learning experiences that can accompany the traditional college path. More about Natalie: Natalie is a 3x LinkedIn Top Voice, Content Marketing Strategist, and Founder of Impact Mentality. Natalie graduated from USC in 2018 as the #1 most followed student on LinkedIn with currently over 410K followers and continues to create content on Gen Z, female entrepreneurship, social impact, and corporate culture.
