This week we have another small update on the ongoing Sasha watch! We also break down and talk about to big turns from this week. One from Stardom with Natsupoi, and the other during NXT's Women's Championship match between Mandy Rose and Roxanne Perez. We weigh in on Liv Morgan's first week as champ and the positive reception she is getting from the fans. All this, plus Math Based Wrestling from Stephen, and more.Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/positively-wrestling. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Interesting developments took place in Stardom at Mid Summer Champions in the Elimination match between Cosmic Angels and DDM where Natsupoi betray Guilia and DDM to join Cosmic Angels. What The Fuck WWE, why did you split Roxanne and Cora one week after winning the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship but is Sasha Banks and Naomi right that they don't have respect for women's tag team. Recently, Jordynne Grace spoke a highly controversial words about the late Chris Benoit but Chavo Guerrero Jr., Chris Jericho and David Benoit came to the defense and Jordynne & David bury the hatchet. NJPW had a Business Strategy Presentation but in the presentation was about Stardom and how much they value them. ENJOY.
Alex and Dylan return for the latest episode of Stardom Quest. They begin by running down the recent announcements from Stardom including KAIRI competing on days 1 and 2 of the 5STAR, the full card for Stardom MidSummer Champions in Nagoya, and more. From there, our hosts review New Blood 3 and Stardom MidSummer Champions in full including a discussion on Momo vs Syuri and Kid vs Saya. To close, they preview Stardom's upcoming house shows.
Reviewed the second match between the never ending feud between Tam Nakano and Natsupoi. The Never Openweight 6 man Tag Team Championship were on the line at New Japan Road day 8 between House of Torture and Chaos. Interesting developments has been surfacing about Io Shirai. Liv Morgan has made an impact at Money in the Bank. Finally, Santana is leaving AEW soon. ENJOY.
This episode of the Eastern Lariat is all about inspiriting stories as STRIGGA & Dylan first talk and rave about the in-ring return of Fujita „Jr“ Hayato, who overcame spinal cord cancer to do what he loves again. Another inspiring, yet totally different story is the King of DDT victory and thus KO-D Title win for Kazusada Higuchi in an amazing tournament final. This topped of a great weekend for wrestling in Tokyo that started with GLEAT's Ver. 3 show in Tokyo Dome City Hall that once again looked amazing. Final topic of the show are Stardom's most recent Cage Matches as well as a brief preview of the upcoming 5 Star Grand Prix!

A special welcome to those of you listening on TheWrestlingRevolution.com. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. We're being reminded that we are far from done with COVID-19. The global pandemic is altering plans in multiple promotions. (STINGER: NJPW) Will Ospreay is among the latest to test positive for COVID. New Japan pulled Ospreay from Sunday's Wrestling Dontaku show. Ospreay was scheduled to battle Hiroshi Tanahashi for the vacant IWGP United States Championship. Tomohiro Ishii will now step into the title match. Tatsumi Fujinami is also off the Dontaku card after testing positive for COVID. In Pro-Wrestling NOAH, Kazuyuki Fujita has vacated the GHC Heavyweight Championship after he tested positive for COVID. Go Shiozaki will wrestle for the vacant title on NOAH's show on Saturday. His opponent has not been announced, but Kaito Kiyomiya challenged Shiozaki at a news conference on Wednesday. (STINGER: AEW) The main event is officially set for Double or Nothing. Hangman Page will defend the AEW Championship against CM Punk. The match was announced on last night's Dynamite. But Hangman was not there for it. He missed the show due to - you guessed it - COVID-19. Scorpio Sky is once again the TNT Champion. He took the title from Sammy Guevara in the main event of last night's Dynamite. Rey Fenix returned to AEW TV for the first time since a gruesome arm injury in January. He and the rest of Death Triangle staged a surprise attack on the House of Black. This is especially good news for fans looking forward to seeing Fenix in action Saturday…at AAA's Triplemania show in Monterrey, Mexico. Getting back to last night's Dynamite, Wardlow beat Lance Archer. MJF hinted at Wardlow's next opponent. (MJF Teases Morrissey) That clip from last night's Dynamite. In the battle of FTR, Dax Harwood pinned Cash Wheeler with a rollup to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament. Serena Deeb forced Hikaru Shida to submit to the Texas Cloverleaf in their Philly Street Fight. AEW Women's Champ Thunder Rosa was shown watching backstage. The Undisputed Elite - Adam Cole, reDRagon & the Young Bucks - complete with t-shirts for the newly minted group beat the Varsity Blonds, Dante Martin, Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson, who took the pin. The Blackpool Combat Club beat The Factory's Aaron Solo, Nick Comoroto & QT Marshall. The Jericho Appreciation Society laid out Santana, Ortiz & Eddie Kingston - including Chris Jericho throwing a fireball in Kingston's face. (STINGER: ROH) The undisputed Ring of Honor Women's Champion will be decided on next Wednesday's Dynamite. The current champion, Impact Wrestling's Deonna Purrazzo will face Mercedes Martinez, who won the interim title last month at Supercard of Honor. (STINGER: Impact) The Impact World Championship is on the line on tonight's episode. It's a Rebellion rematch, with Josh Alexander defending against Moose. A special welcome to those of you listening on TheWrestlingRevolution.com. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. Results from Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, NXT, MLW Fusion and Stardom's big show are straight ahead in this update. But first, some sad news to report - the passing of a key figure in modern pro wrestling history. Word came Wednesday night that Jim Crockett Jr. has died. He took control of Jim Crockett Promotions during the 1970's after the passing of his father, Jim Crockett Sr. In 1988, he sold Jim Crockett Promotions to Ted Turner - giving birth to World Championship Wrestling. Crockett also served as president of the National Wrestling Alliance from 1980-1991. Jim Crockett Jr. was 76. (STINGER: AEW) Shaquille O'Neal made a big impression on last night's Dynamite. The long-awaited tag match pitting Shaq and Jade Cargill against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet kicked off the show. Shaq overpowered Cody early on..and even delivered a powerbomb to him. But later, Cody found an opening to throw himself at Shaq - sending both men down from the apron and through a pair of tables set up at ringside. Moments later, Cargill put down Red Velvet to get the pin in her debut match in AEW. Shaq was taken out on a stretcher to an ambulance backstage. Tony Schiavone went out to get more details…but when he opened the back door of the ambulance...Shaq was gone! Ryo Mizunami beat Nyla Rose to win the Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament. She'll challenge AEW Women's Champ Hikaru Shida at Revolution. Max Caster pinned Dark Order's #10 - after Jack Evans snuck in to hit #10 with a boombox. Matt Hardy paid Evans after the attack - as his war against Dark Order continues. Caster's win makes him the 5th man in the 6-man ladder match at Revolution for a shot at the TNT Championship - alongside Cody Rhodes, Penta El Zero M, Scorpio Sky and Lance Archer. We still do NOT know who the 6th participant will be. AEW says it will be announced by Tony Khan. Paul Wight promised something BIG at Revolution…an announcement about AEW's next major signing. (Wight Revolution Surprise) JJ Dillon was in the corner of FTR and Tully Blanchard for their tag match against Jurassic Express. Dillon's interference wasn't enough to get the win - but the help of a masked man WAS - as Tully PINNED Luchasaurus. After the match, the masked man revealed himself to be...Shawn Spears. A tag match was announced for Revolution Buy-In pre-show on Sunday. Thunder Rosa & Riho vs. Dr. Britt Baker and Reba. (STINGER: WWE) Today's NXT UK has a big main event. Kay Lee Ray defending the UK Women's Title she's held for more than 500 days...against Meiko Satomura. Next week's NXT will now have TWO title matches. Finn Balor will defend the NXT Championship against Adam Cole. Next week's NXT already had Io Shirai set to defend her women's title against Toni Storm. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax held onto the women's tag titles. But the result was controversial. Baszler submitted Kai, but Kai wasn't the legal woman in the ring at the time. Adam Pearce had sent out a “backup” referee after the first one was knocked down during the match. In the aftermath of that result, GM William Regal promised he will make an announcement next week that “will change the landscape of NXT.” NXT Tag Champs Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch beat Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher in a non-title match. LA Knight - the former Eli Drake - was lurking during a match between Bronson Reed and Cameron Grimes...and the distraction allowed Grimes to steal a win. A big night for Calvin Tankman on last night's MLW Fusion. First, he BEAT Laredo Kid. And later, Tankman ran off CONTRA and got the better of MLW Heavyweight Champ Jacob Fatu during a brawl following the main event between Fatu and Jordan Oliver. Also on last night's Fusion, Los Parks fought off a Tag Team Title challenge from CONTRA's Simon Gotch and Daivari. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan is holding its 49th Anniversary Show this morning. Friday, it's the official start of the New Japan Cup tour, with two first round matches - Hirooki Goto vs. Taichi...and Toru Yano vs. Bad Luck Fale. Tam Nakano is the new Wonder Of Stardom Champion. She won the main event at Stardom's big show Wednesday at Budokan Hall. And thanks to the added Hair vs. Hair stipulation, former champ Giulia was shaved bald in the center of the ring after the match. On the undercard, Natsupoi (nats-poy) defeated AZM (azumi) to win the High Speed Title. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Thursday, March 4.
